Description
San Bruno City Council Meeting April 27, 2021
5. Consent Calendar
A
We
will
now
move
on
to
item
number
five
consent
calendar
all
items
are
considered
routine
or
implemented
in
earlier
council
action
and
may
be
enacted
by
one
motion.
There
will
be
no
separate
discussion
unless
requested.
Are
there
any
items
that
we
wish
to
completely
remove
for
a
separate
vote?
A
B
Yes,
mr
mayor
items,
d
and
e,
primarily
for
for
a
little
bit
of
comments
and
acknowledgement
got.
A
It
thank
you.
Anybody
else:
okay,
let's
go
on
to
item
d;
first
adopted
dropped
resolutions
authorizing
the
filing
of
the
applications
for
funding
assigned
to
mtc
and
committing
any
necessary
matching
funds
and
stage
insurances,
to
be
to
complete
the
city,
wide
bicycle
route,
network
project
and
the
transit
corridor,
pedestrian
connection
project
phase,
four.
B
Yes,
mr
mayor,
I
wanted
to
acknowledge
the
effort
it
takes
to
to
even
to
get
to
this
point
to
get
to
where
we're
going,
to
apply
for
a
million
dollars
of
grant
funding
to
improve
the
intersection
of
green
and
san
bernardino
avenue.
We
weren't
able
to
complete
that
prior
in
our
prior
project
and
there's
a
385
000
for
that
and
615
000
in
in
the
bike
design
for
for
pathways
throughout
san
bruno.
B
So
I
don't
know
if,
if
staff
could
maybe
give
a
little
bit
more
than
that,
I
just
wanted
to
to
acknowledge
and
express
my
appreciation
and
support
of
these
items.
A
Right,
I
just
didn't
know
if
you
meant.
Okay,
I
see
I,
I
probably
see
what
your
point
is.
The
two
bullet
points
yes,
and
I
do
know
that
we
have
our
public
works
staff
with
us
and
who
would
like
to
follow
that
up.
Please.
C
Yes,
good
evening,
honorable
mayor
city,
council,
members-
yes
we're
excited
to
this
was
a
very
quick
turnaround,
a
lot
of
times.
You
know
it
takes
a
while
to
get
the
application
for
the
call
for
projects
and
the
application,
but
an
emphasis
on
this
project
was
really
quick,
build
and
so
that
really
lent
itself
to
you
know
projects
that
don't
have
right-of-way
issues
or
anything
like
that.
C
So
we
had
one
project
in
mind
which
you
know
we
didn't
have
enough
funding
to
do,
which
was
the
bulb
out
to
finish
out
the
four
we've
done.
Three.
We
have
one
left,
it's
already
been
designed.
You
know
we
could
deliver
that.
This
is
a
federal
grant,
though,
so
we
have
to
jump
through
some
hoops,
but
you
know
we're
confident
we
can
do
that
really
easily
and
the
other
grant
was
to
install
the
bike
routes
per
our
bike
and
walking
bike
plan.
C
And
so
you
know
early
indications
are
the
the
county
had
supported
these
projects
and
mtc
appears
to
be
supporting
the
the
bulb
out
project
on
san
bruno
avenue
in
green,
we'll
know
for
sure
in
june.
So
we
won't
count
our
eggs
before
they
hatch,
but
that's
that's
what
we
know
so
far.
B
Yes,
mr
mayor,
another
project
that
is
going
to
kick
off
here
in
san
bruno
to
improve
our
city
park,
the
parking
lot
along,
the
the
baseball
diamond
and-
and
I
I
think
it's
great-
that
we're
pursuing
that.
I
just
think
having
the
public
hear
a
little
bit
more
about
it.
Other
than
in
consent
would
be
beneficial,
so
if
staff
could
take
care
of
that,
that
would
be
great.
A
And
I
see
our
director
director
tan.
D
All
right
good
afternoon,
oh
actually,
good
evening,
honorable
media
members
of
the
city
council
regards
to
this
project.
This
is
a
project
where
we're
you
know
basically
enhancing
or
rehabbing
the
existing
parking
lot
at
the
the
tom
lawrence
field,
as
shown
on
the
the
slide
that
you
see
in
on
the
screen
here,
you
know
the
existing
parking
spaces
are
limited.
D
So
with
this
edition,
with
this
project,
we're
planning
to
add
additional
40
more
spaces,
you
know
within
the
the
parking
lot
area
for
a
total
of
85
spaces
in
total
on
this
parking
lot
will
be
upgraded
to
comply
with
the
new
ada
regulations
as
well.
So
there
will
be
you
know:
eight
accessible
parking
stalls
will
be
constructed
or
striped.
There
are
some
water
line,
relocations
that
needs
to
be
done
as
part
of
this
work
and,
additionally,
we
have
to
include
what
is
called
stormwater
biotreatment
measures.
D
You
know,
because
we're
removing
or
we're
replacing
a
certain
amount
of
square
footage,
so
so
the
stormwater
volume,
treatment
measures
or
constructions
are
required
as
part
of
this,
so
we
went
out
to
bid
on
this
project
recently
and
we
received
seven
bids
total.
It
was
great,
you
know
we
had
a
range
of
you
know
costs
from
eight
hundred
fifty
thousand
dollars
to
over
one
point,
one
million
dollars.
D
Our
engineers
estimate
was
about
nine
hundred
and
ten
thousand
dollars
for
this
project,
and
the
lowest
bid
was
received
from
golden
bay
construction
in
the
amount
of
853
thousand
dollars,
so
we're
awarding
the
project
to
golden
bay,
and
the
construction
of
this
project
will
have
some
impacts
to
the
json
playground
area,
such
as
the
parking
lot
closures
and
noise,
invest
we're
anticipating
this
project
to
be
completed
in
approximately
about
maybe
60
working
days.
Once
we
issue
the
notice
to
to
proceed
and
this
project
you
know
regards
to
the
fiscal
impact.
D
This
project
is
funded
by
the
approved
grant
by
the
community
assembly
committee
foundation
in
a
grant
amount
of
1.1
million
dollars
and
which
includes
all
the
work
requires.
You
know
for
consultant
designs,
construction
contracts,
contingencies,
as
well
as
the
management,
especially
by
city
staff
and
and
materials
testing,
so
yeah.
This
is
this
is
one
project
prior
to
the
you
know
the
beginning
of
the
the
recreational
aquatic
centers
to
has
the
entire.
You
know
you
know
the
park
area.
B
Yes,
thank
you.
Thank
you,
director
tan.
I
I
understand.
There's
a
few
charging
locations
and-
and
my
my
suggestion
would
be
if,
although
we
may
not,
may
not
have
the
money
currently
to
install
the
charger,
but
if
we,
if
we
looked
ahead
and
maybe
installed
the
conduit
so
where,
if
we
were
to
receive
more
funds,
that
we'd
be
able
to
add
those
chargers
in
the
future.
D
That's
correct,
yeah,
you
know
as
part
of
the
racket
project,
you
know
direct,
you
know
the
new
rack,
the
parking
lot
we'll
have
conduits
and
and
electrical
already
installed
for
future
charging
stations,
and
it's
similar
to
this
as
well.
There
will
be
two
parking
spaces
will
be
plumbed
or-
and
I
would
say
but
rewired
for
the
the
future
ev
stations
as
well
chargers.
E
Thanks
director
chan,
this,
like
a
nice
addition,
I
wanted
to
ask
about
the
size
of
the
parking
spaces.
What
what
size
are
they
going
to
be
for
cars,
because
I've
noticed
a
lot
of
the
newer
parking
lots,
they're
designed
for
more
compact
spaces,
and
so
I'm
curious
to
know?
Are
these
compact?
Are
these
the
same
size
that
the
existing,
like
the
existing
parking
that
you
have
now
or
what
is
that
going
to
look
like.
D
Yeah,
so
these
spaces,
my
understanding,
is
based
on
their
their
city's
municipal
code.
The
width
it's
about
eight
feet
wide.
I
think
the
length
is
about
11
feet.
That's
what
I'm
recalling
these
spaces.
A
Thank
you,
and
I
know
we
can
bring
this
back
up
at
the
end
of
the
meeting,
but
since
the
director
is
here
director
tan,
this
is
the
director
tan's
last
city
council
meeting
with
the
city
of
san
bruno,
he
is
friday,
is
his
last
day
and
he
is
departing
for
another
opportunity,
but
I
will
go
back
to
that.
But
since
we
we
have
you
virtually,
I
know
it's
not
the
same
of
being
in
person.
A
I
did
want
to
acknowledge
that
and
thank
you
for
your
comments
and
again
I
will
circle
back
around
to
you
at
the
end
of
the
meeting,
but
thank
you
for
your
information
and
thank
you
for
all
your
work.
Thank
you.
A
Okay,
we've
gone
through
the
the
items.
Is
there
any
action
by
council
on
consent
for
a
through
e.
A
I'll
second
motion
medina
second
and
salazar
roll
call
please.
