Description
San Bruno City Council Meeting January 10, 2012
10b. City Clerk's Report on Attendance at New Election Law Seminar
B
B
The
first
half
day
was
spent
on
continuity
of
local
government
in
crisis,
and
I
was
contacted
and
asked
if
I
would
talk
about
what
happened
here
in
san
bruno
and
and
I
wasn't
comfortable
doing
it
and
I
must
admit.
I
I
was
remiss
if
I
should
have
and
I've
offered
to
do
it
going
forward.
Maybe
something
like
rebuilding
the
city,
but
we'll
see
what
happens
anyway.
B
Our
other
part
of
our
morning
was
the
city
of
clerk
of
belmont
shared
the
tragedy
of
the
loss
of
a
mayor,
and
I
still
will
say
I'm
really
sorry.
I
didn't
talk
about
san
bruno
because
I
think
we
had
a
lot
to
share
and
and
hopefully
going
forward
I'll
get
to
this
year.
Coming
up,
we'll
be
doing
a
be
one
two
three
four
again
and
I
will
be
on
all
of
you
to
do
that.
B
B
Suggestion
I
brought
back
to
share
with
you
and
then
a
representative
from
the
fppc
talked
and
she
talked
to
us
about
form
700,
which
I
sent
out
to
everyone
already
earliest
I've
ever
done,
and
the
importance
of
just
making
sure
you
fill
it
out
correctly.
There
are
steep
fines
to
be
made
by
the
FPPC
if
it's
not
done.
Right
talked
about
the
roles
and
responsibilities
of
a
city,
clerk
and
debra
bowen.
The
California
Secretary
of
State
talked
about
us
to
us
about
the
many
obstacles
the
state's
encountering
trying
to
get
paperless.
B
That's
going
to
be
a
very
big
thing
and
then,
on
a
final
note,
I
have
been
appointed
sunshine
and
hospitality
clerk
for
california,
and
my
job
is
just
to
write
notes
to
people
when
they
have
life-changing
events
and
it's
it's
nice
because
I'm
just
getting
to
know
the
whole
clerk
dhum
world
of
california.
So
is
a
very
informative
seminar
and
I
thank
you
for
allocating
the
funds
so
that
I
could
go
and
I'd
like
to
do
it
again.
Thank
you.
Thank.
