which
is
a
conditional

B
A
B
A
B
I'll
go
back
to
commissioner
Garcia,
yes,
oh
great,
and
then
myself.
Yes,
so
that
item
carries
that
will
then
take
us
to
item
six
referrals
from
the
city
council
staff,
yeah
man,
Mr,

okay,
then
we'll
move
on
to
good

Welfare
report
from
the
city

No
land
use
items,
okay
and
then
there
are
no
items.
B
No
public
record
is
that
correct,
that's
correct,
okay,
then
I
I
guess:
we've
reached
adjournment
so
Commissioners
one
of
our
colleagues
passed
away
in
December,
and
so
we
are
dealing
you
know
adjourning
the
meeting
in
their
memory.
Commissioner
barinder
awalia
was
a
long
time.
Berryessa
resident
and
passed
away
on,
December
20th
2022
at
the
age
of
86.
berender
was
born
in
India
in
1936..
He
immigrated
to
the
United
States
in
1988
found
a
job
of
Santa,
Clara,
County
and
retired.
B
After
his
retirement
he
dedicated
his
life
to
public
service
and
was
passionate
about
improving
the
quality
of
life
for
his
community
in
District
Four.
He
was
appointed
to
the
city's
Planning
Commission
and
began
his
term
back
in
July
of
2022
over
the
years.
He's
also
been
active
on
other
commissions,
including
San
Jose
Parks
and
Recreation
Commission
San
Jose
green
print
update
in
Santa
Clara
County,
Roads,
commission,
his
community
activism
also
extended
to
the
local
Cricket
Community.
He
spent
over
three
decades
helping
to
grow
and
expand
the
city
of
Santa

B
He
currently
was
serving
as
the
club
secretary.
In
addition,
he
served
on
the

of
the

Finally,
barinder
was
a
longtime
member
of
the
Berryessa

advisory
Council,
which
is
their

association
and
spent
much
time
supporting
his
efforts
to
ensure
the
committee
projects
were
completed
for
the
benefit
of
Berryessa
residents.
Barinder
will
be
remembered
as
a
friend
and
mentor
to
many
brandy,
persons
whose
lives
he
touched.
B
He
was
truly
admired
and
appreciated
for
his
kindness,
generosity
of
spirit
passion
for
working
to
make
his
community
a
better
place
and
genuine
capacity
to
share
his
time
and
talents
with
others.
Barinder
once
said
that
he
is
full
of
gratitude,
doing
public
service
and
he's
survived
by
his
spouse
of
55
years
and
his
three
children
I
obtained
these.
These
details
from
council
member
Cohen
because
he
made
in
adjournment
for
berender
at
the
city
council
so
with
that
opened
up
to
any
comments
or
from
other
commissioners.
B
And
if
not,
that's
okay,
but
commissioner
Nellis
wise.
C
I
just
wanted
to
send
my
condolences
to
the
family.
I
I
read
everything
about
his
life
and
I
was
pretty
inspired
by
his
age
and
his
commitment
to
public
service
and
just
like
I
wish
to
meet
all
of
you.
I
hope
to
you
know:
I
I'm
saddened
that
I
didn't
get
a
chance
to
meet.
Him
seems
like
a
wonderful
man,
doing
a
lot
of
wonderful
things
and
serving
our
community
and
I
think
that's
a
a
good
life
to
live
a
legacy
of
service.
C
So
thank
you
for
your
service
on
the
Planning
Commission
and
for
his
family
to
allow
to
share
him
with
us
in
the
community
at
Large.
So
thank
you.
B
B
And
I
think
with
that
said,
just
Commissioners
have
a
great
evening,
we'll
see
you
in
two
weeks
and
best
of
help
for
everyone
take
care.
