B
Now,
thank
you.
Let
us
know
when
we're
live.
Yes,
sir,
you
are
not
alive,
sir.
Thank
you.
It
is
now
a
little
after
four
we
have
a
special
meeting
of
the
governing
body:
October
3
2022..
Let's
begin
with
a
pledge
of
allegiance
led
by
councilor,
Lee
Garcia
salute
to
the
New
Mexico
flag,
led
by
councilor
Chavez
and
invocation
councilor
Michael
Garcia,
followed
by
a
roll
call.
Let's
stand
and
salute
the
flag.
A
I
just
would
like
to
recognize
the
changing
of
the
seasons
and
what
a
great
blessing
it
is
to
have
an
abundance
of
rain
today
fall
harvest
season
is
upon
us
and
I
just
want
to
thank.
B
D
D
He
was
young
46,
but
someone
that
was
true
to
himself
very
loving
loved
his
family,
and
so
this
is
a
very
difficult
time
for
my
family,
as
he
was
that
July
and
so
much
Beauty,
especially
coming
into
the
holiday
season,
which
he
enjoyed
very
very
much
so
love
to
him,
love
to
my
family.
Thank
you.
Thank.
B
You
thank
you
oh
good.
Yes,
we
lost
herb
Danish
over
the
over
the
weekend,
I
believe
someone
who
not
only
him
but
his
family
has
been
important
to
all
of
New
Mexico.
We
should
say,
keep
him
in
our
thoughts
and
keep
Diana
anyone
else.
B
So
we
have
our
assistant
city
clerk.
Thank
you
for
stepping
in.
Could
you
please
call
the
rule
for
us.
B
B
E
B
Have
a
motion
to
approve
the
agenda?
Can
we
all
in
favor,
say
aye.
E
B
Very
good:
this
is
in
front
of
us
Council,
woman
Villarreal.
Would
you
like
to
speak
to
this
matter.
B
I'm,
hoping
you
can
walk
us
through
the
various
amendments
you've
proposed
for
today,
as
well
as
the
questions
of
engagement
that
need
to
be
discussed.
I.
F
Actually
think
we've
covered
all
the
Amendments
and
then
the
additional
ones.
The
last
time
we
met
for
the
governing
body,
and
so
at
this
point
I'm
just
going
to
take
the
time
to
thank
some
folks,
the
community
members
who
organize
indigenous
people's
day
Juneteenth
pride.
In
other
event,
organizers,
really
wanted
to
thank
them
for
their
Vision
persistence
and
patience
and
perseverance,
also
to
the
plaza
Artisans
and
push
cart,
vendors
and
the
plaza
Merchants
Association
members
who
took
time
to
meet
with
me
to
ask
questions
to
give
input
and
feedback.
F
We
had
Community
meetings
and
it
was
helpful
to
have
the
chamber
host
something,
so
we
could
get
people's
questions
answered.
I'll
put
it
to
our
legal
staff
and
park
staff
for
spending
many
hours,
thinking
about
language
and
working
through
many
iterations
of
amendment.
Language
also
wanted
to
thank
co-sponsor
Chris
Rivera.
For
sticking
with
me.
F
Through
the
end
of
all
of
this,
it
was
a
lot
of
different
back
and
forth
just
trying
to
decide
what
would
work
best
and
to
my
colleagues
that
took
time
to
ask
questions
for
clarification
and
to
council
who
actually
discussed
with
me.
The
potential
Amendment
and
I
think
it
strikes
a
good
balance
for
what
we
are
trying
to
achieve,
while
finding
a
modest
compromise.
E
E
B
E
F
B
Amended
I
think
that
covers
it.
Is
there
a
second?
There
is
a
second.
There
are
two
seconds
there
were
one.
Second,
apart
is
there
further
discussion
of
the
of
the
the
proposal.
I
think
it's
worth
saying
just
how
much
good
hard
work
went
into
this
by
so
many
people,
councilwoman
varial.
You
were
heroic
in
your
efforts
to
advance
it
and
stick
with
it
and
not
be
discouraged
by
the
number
of
changes
that
went
forward
in
the
extenuating
processes
that
had
to
be
managed.
So
congratulations
and
thank
you
for
that.
B
Remarkably
Valiant
effort
and
I
think
we'll
all
benefit
from
it.
I
think
we're
going
to
see
the
benefits
very
soon
and
on
an
ongoing
basis,
people
will
feel
like
there's
more
opportunity
to
do
more
kinds
of
things
collaboratively
collectively
and
Community
wise
on
the
Plaza
I.
Think
it's
a
really
good,
as
you
said,
a
good
compromise
and
a
good
step
forward,
and
we
can
evaluate
it.
Maybe
open
up
other
avenues,
as
this
proves
its
worth,
but
great
great
job.
