H
Thank
you
very
much
happy
to
be
here
so
I'm
here
to
talk
to
you
a
little
bit
about
scams
and
some
of
the
common
things
that
you'll
see
real
quick.
H
H
Have
you
been
hired
to
work
at
home
or
other
job
without
a
face-to-face
interview
with
the
person
hiring?
You
are
you
being
asked
to
wire
money
with
a
check
you
received
and
are
you
being
asked
to
purchase
prepaid
gift
cards,
itunes,
vanilla,
green
dot
cards
or
something
similar
some
of
the
safety
precautions
for
you
to
take,
and
we
all
have
caller
id
on
our
phones
now
and
a
lot
of
the
stuff
comes
up?
Actually,
spam
risk
or
potential
scams
something
along
those
lines.
H
Basically,
if
you
don't
know
who's
calling
you
don't
answer
the
phone,
let
it
go
to
voicemail.
If
it's
important,
they'll
leave
they'll
leave
you
a
message.
You
can
always
call
them
back,
never
provided
personal,
identifying
information
when
requested
to
callers
when
the
phone
call
was
not
initiated
by
you.
If
a
company
is
calling
you
about
something,
they
should
already
have
your
information.
They
don't
need
it
turn
it
back
around
on
them
and
say:
okay!
Well,
you
called
me
you
tell
me
what
that
information
is.
H
Do
not
return
phone
calls
with
phone
numbers
left
on
a
voicemail
without
verifying
the
number
first.
So
if
they
say
they're
from,
for
example,
like
apple
care,
make
sure
that
the
phone
number
that
they're
listing
in
that
voicemail
google,
it
make
sure
it
really
is
an
apple
care
number,
do
not
provide
personal
information
through
text
message
or
email
without
verifying
the
text
or
email
came
from
the
actual
company.
It
says
it
did
research
and
verify
everything
before
you
send
money
or
provide
personal
information
to
anyone,
be
it
by
phone
email
or
text.
H
H
You
know
by
people
they're
following
on
social
media,
we
had
one
guy
who
was
you
know
following
some
instagram
model
and
all
of
a
sudden
for
some
reason
she
started
sending
him
direct
messages
from
a
different
account,
because
you
know
that
was
her
personal
account
and
he
ended
up
sending
her
several
thousand
dollars
and
of
course
it
wasn't
really
her.
So
you
know
just
remember
just
because
this
is
what
you're
seeing
on
the
screen
a
lot
of
times.
H
That's
who's
actually
sitting
behind
the
computer,
so
just
be
really
careful
we'll
get
that
off
the
screen,
because
no
one
likes
to
look
at
that
one.
Also
another
thing
to
we're:
seeing
is
you
know
you're
following
someone
on
instagram
and
or
some
other
social
media
site
they
reach
out
to
you
and
say:
hey
you
know.
Can
I
use
your
account
to
advertise
my
business
or
with
one
it
was
a?
He
was
a
party
planner
or
party
thrower.
He
had
like
something
like
20
000
followers.
H
He
reaches
out
to
a
few
of
them
and,
like
hey,
you
know,
can
I
use
your
account
and
they
gave
him
their
instagram,
logon
and
password
so
that
he
could
advertise
from
their
account?
Well,
he
then
reached
out
to
their
friends
through
instagram,
pretending
to
be
those
people
and
scammed
their
friends.
H
So
again,
just
be
really
careful
with
your
social
media
information
be
careful
who
you're
talking
to,
and
you
know
if
it's
so
ask
a
friend
or
law
enforcement
or
someone
ask
your
parents
before
acting
on
anything
call,
look
up
the
company,
don't
just
call
back
the
number:
they
provide
type
the
company
or
phone
number
into
a
search
engine
verified.
Do
your
research
check
with
the
federal
trade
commission
if
they
say
they're
from
a
company,
make
sure
they're
really
legit,
don't
be
quick
to
send
money
to
anyone
or
provide
personal
information?
H
Do
not
purchase
reloadable
gift
cards
or
cards
at
someone's
request
or
provide
the
numbers
on
the
cards?
If
anyone
is
asking
you
to
pay
for
anything
with
a
gift
card,
it's
a
scam
like
100,
it's
a
scam,
don't
do
it
as
soon
as
they
mention
gift
card.
Hang
up
document
it
and
report
it
law
enforcement,
there's
also
the
fbi
website,
which
is
ic3.gov.
H
You
can
make
a
report
on
there
and
you
can
check
websites
such
as
scamawareness.org
ftc.gov.
That
has
a
lot
of
other
information
regarding
scams
that
are
out
there
and
basically,
just
think
before
you
send
money,
because
you
know
if
it
sounds
too
good
to
be
true,
it
probably
is
there's
a
reason.
H
You
know
if
you're
gonna
make
money
on
this,
then
they're
probably
scamming
you
they
prey
on
your
greed
a
lot
of
times
and
that's
how
they
get
you
and
that's
really
all
I
got.
A
H
Websites,
they
do
so
you'll
a
lot
of
times.
So
if
you
get
an
email
from
a
supposedly
from
a
company
like
a
common
one,
is
you
get
an
email
supposedly
from
amazon
saying?
Like
hey,
you
know
there
was
a
purchase
on
your
amazon
account.
Was
this
really
you
click
on
this
website?
It
then
takes
you
to
a
link
that
looks
like
a
real
amazon
website
and
you
enter
your
username
and
password.
They
then
capture
that
information.
Now
they
can
actually
get
to
your
amazon
account.
That's
called
phishing.
H
They
do
the
same
thing
through
text
messages
and
that's
called
smishing.
I
don't
know
why
they
felt
they
needed
to
have
a
different
word,
but
they
did
so
again.
Just
if
you're
getting
like,
I
said,
if
you
you
get
an
email
from
amazon,
saying
that
hey
you
have
this
fraudulent
purchase,
don't
follow
the
email
or
the
link
in
the
email
go
to
the
website
through
your
normal
route.
H
If
you
have
the
app
on
your
phone
just
go
to
your
app
and
check
your
account
to
see
if
there
really
was
a
fraudulent
purchase.
Basically,
if
you're
getting
any
sort
of
email
or
text
message
supposedly
from
a
company,
never
follow
the
link
in
the
email
just
go
to
the
company.
Whatever
way
you
normally
would
I
had
something
that
I
thought
was
fraudulent.
I
didn't
follow
the
link
in
the
email
or
call
the
phone
number,
because
I
was
it's
what
I
do.
I
don't
trust
anyone
or
anything
anymore.
H
It
turned
out,
it
was
legitimate,
but
they
were
offering
to
give
me
money
back
and
I
was
like
well.
No,
I
don't.
I
don't
trust
you
because
as
soon
as
I
you
know,
I
I
went
to
well,
I
started
to
follow
the
link
in
the
in
the
email
and
it
all
of
a
sudden
started
asking
me
for
my
social
security
number.
So
I
was
like
nope,
so
I
made
a
phone
call.
I
did
some
other
things
and
it
turned
out.
H
It
was
legit,
but
you
know
I'll
take
those
few
extra
five
ten
minutes
rather
than
risk.
You
know
someone
getting
my
information.
Does
that
answer
your
question?
Okay,.
I
Thank
you
for
your
presentation.
I
had
a
question
regarding
a
lot
of
youth
right
now
are
getting
involved
in
like
venmo
scams,
where,
like
people,
dm
them
on
instagram
and
then
somehow
they
like
send
money
and
then
they
send
money
back
and
then
there's
like
some
scam
going
on.
So
I
was
wondering
how
that
works.
I
mean
how
people
are
getting
tricked
and
then
also
I'm
seeing
a
lot
of
emails
coming
to
me
that
are
like
google,
slides
and
then
they're
like
links
are
those
like
more
common,
now,
scam,
wise.
H
That's
actually
something
I
haven't
heard
of.
If
you
get
one
of
those
feel
free
to
forward
it.
To
me,
I'd
like
to
look
into
that,
my
email
address
won't
be
up
or
is
basically
just
my
name,
jennifer.bowie
ventura.org,
so
yeah.
Please
feel
free
to
forward
that
to
me.
If
you
get
one,
I'm
always
looking
to
update
this
on
new
scams
that
are
coming
out
as
far
as
the
venmo
scams.
It's
it's
the
same
thing
as
like
prepaid
gift
cards.
H
Things
like
that
a
lot
of
times
you
may
not
be
the
actual,
say
victim
of
the
scam
where
you
they're
taking
money
from
you,
you're
being
used
as
what
we
call
a
money
mule.
So
basically
they
they
trick
someone
out
of
their
money
and
they
have
that
person
send
the
money
to
you.
So
when
the
cops
look
into
it,
it
looks
like
you're,
the
one
who's,
the
suspect,
because
the
money
went
to
you.
You
then
you
know
said
hey.
H
You
know
you
get
this
money
now
you
send
it
on
to
somewhere
else
that
person
it'll
go
through
two
or
three
steps
and
then
it'll
finally,
usually
get
sent
out
of
the
country.
Most
of
these
scammers
are
in
other
countries.
Some
of
them
are
local,
but
the
majority
of
them
are
from
other
countries.
So
they'll
they'll
take
a
few
steps
before
getting
the
money
out
of
the
country
again.
That
just
makes
it
harder
for
us
and
it
makes
it
look
like
these.
H
Innocent
people
are
the
suspects
because
they're
the
ones
getting
the
money
originally
and,
like
I
said
it's
just
basically,
a
money
laundering
scheme
for
the
suspects
and
venmo
venmo
is
only
supposed
to
be
used
with
people
that
you
know.
So
it's
like
a
person-to-person
kind
of
thing:
there's
no
protection.
So
if
you
get
scammed
using
venmo,
zell
cash
app
anything
like
that,
there's
no
protection,
so
you're
just
out
that
money.
If
you
use
paypal,
they
do
have
fraud
protection.
H
So
if
someone
wants
you
to
send
venmo
ask
if
you
can
use
paypal
instead,
if
they
say
no,
then
they're,
probably
not
legit,
because
they
want
venmo
or
zell,
because
you
can't
get
the
money
back
when
when
you
figure
out
you've
been
scammed.
So
that's
why
paypal
will
take
the
money
back
from
them,
so
they
don't
want
to
use
it.
D
E
Thank
you
again
for
your
presentation.
I
just
had
a
question
more
out
of,
like
curiosity,
some
of
the
text
message
ones
that
I'll
get
like
specifically
say
like
shaylee
click,
this,
like
shaylee,
we
tried
to
deliver
a
package
you
weren't
home,
like
how
did
they?
How
did
they
get
your
personal
information
like?
Is
that
from
like
a
different
scam?
I
had
already
been
like
influenced
in
or
like
how
did
they
know
my
name.
H
Not
necessarily
information
is
out
there
if
you
go
to
like
different
websites
like
pitbull,
there's
a
bunch
of
different
they,
they
have
to
pay
a
monthly
fee
and
they
can
search.
And
basically,
if
you
have
linked
your
like
cell
phone
number
on
any
online
purchases
or
you
have
it
linked
with
anything
online,
they
can
get,
they
can
get
it
basic.
Any
any
information
you
put
online
is
available
for
a
price
and
also
a
lot
of
certain
websites
get
hacked
they
get.
H
You
know
like
say:
netflix
gets
hacked
they
get.
You
know
everyone's
account
information,
any
credit
cards
associated
with
the
account
your
username,
your
password
and
most
people.
If
you're
anything
like
me,
you
know
the
password
you
use
for
netflix
is
probably
the
password
you
use
for
a
lot
of
other
things.
They
now
can
go
to
different
things
and
use
that
username
and
password
like
say
on
your
bank
account
whatever
to
see
if
it
works
and
then
what
they
do
is
on
the
dark
web.
H
They
just
sell
your
information,
so
it's
like
okay
yeah,
I
have
like
you,
know:
2
000
people's
information.
I've
used
it
as
much
as
I
want
here.
You
know,
give
me
200
bucks
and
you
can
have
it.
You
can
try
and
use
it.
So
once
information
is
out
there,
it
just
gets
passed
around
from
person
to
person.
Unfortunately,
once
you've
been
the
victim
of
identity
theft
or
a
scam,
you
kind
of
get
flagged
on
these
with
these
guys
and
they
will
then
hit
you
up
more
often
because
they're,
like
okay
we've.
H
Unfortunately,
you
know,
we've
got
a
sucker
here
now:
you're
gonna
get
more
people
trying
to
get
money
from
you.
D
Any
more
questions,
commissioner
nash.
H
Well,
I
do
these.
This
is
actually
the
first
group
I've
done
with
people
your
age.
I
I
focus
mainly
on
the
elderly.
Unfortunately
they're
the
more
common
victims
of
these
things,
but
just
getting
the
information
out
there
is
kind
of
the
best
way
to
do
it.
I
know
we've
done.
The
sheriff's
department
has
done
a
lot
of
videos.
H
We've
posted
things
on
next
door.
We
have
things
on
our
website
trying
to
educate
people
I
get
out.
I
do
presentations
like
this
to
the
community
as
much
as
possible
as
long
as
these
guys
are
getting
money.
They're
gonna
keep
doing
it,
like,
I
said,
they're
very
hard
to
catch.
We
have
caught
a
few
of
them.
We've
identified
a
few
of
them,
but
it's
really
really
hard.
We
got
to
get
lucky,
and
but
even
when
we
do
catch
them,
they
don't
necessarily
get
a
whole
lot
of
time.
H
F
H
Free,
please
share
the
information
you've
learned
with
your
friends,
your
parents,
anyone
you
know
if
you
hear
someone
talking
about
something
and
you
recognize
it
as
something
that
I
mentioned,
you
know
please
give
them
a
heads
up.
Unfortunately,
a
lot
of
times.
People
won't
listen
because
they
want
it
to
be
true.
These
scammers
are
really
really
good
at
selling
their
stories
and
a
lot
of
people
just
they
want
to
believe
really
bad
but
yeah.
If
you,
you
know
notice
something
please,
you
know
speak
up
and
try
to
convince
them
that
they're
getting
scammed.
C
One
of
the
ladies
said
that
she
clicked
on
a
link
on
facebook
or
instagram,
and
she
went
to
a
clothing
store
that
had
all
these
really
beautiful
clothes,
and
I
know
some
of
you
have
done
that
because
I
have
done
it
and
what
I
learned
today
was
that
when
I
do
that-
and
I
actually
make
a
purchase
I
put
in
my
credit
card
well,
this
woman
actually
did
the
same
thing
she
put
in
her
credit
card.
C
Only
she
bought
a
lot
more
stuff
than
I
ever
do,
and
we
learned
from
detective
boy
today
that
not
to
ever
put
your
credit
card
into
one
of
those
purchases
to
always
go
through
paypal,
because
it's
protected.
Now
I
have
a
protected
credit
card,
but
not
everyone
does
you
know.
It
just
depends
on
the
insurance
on
your
card,
but
I
did
get
mine.
Just
got
hat
mine
just
got
sold,
so
my
credit
card
got
sold
right
after
that
purchase.
C
H
Oh
yeah,
that's
the
biggest
problem,
yeah,
so
yeah.
That
was
great
advice
yeah.
If,
if
you're
purchasing
something
online
like
I
do
it
all
the
time,
you
know
something
cool
comes
up
in
my
facebook.
It's
late!
Sorry,
my
facebook
feed.
You
know
I'll
click
on
it,
but
if
it
doesn't
allow
me
to
pay
with

I
either

I
have
gone

I'll
go

Sometimes
I
feel
a
little
more
comfortable

It

not
be

they
don't.
Let
me

then
I'll
find

A
J
You
on
october
22nd,
the
thousand
oaks
general
plan
held
a
meeting
that
was
focused
on
the
arts
and
culture
aspect
of
our
city.
The
participants
were
put
in
breakout
rooms
to
discuss
issues
with,
and
goals
for
the
arts
and
culture
of
thousand
oaks.
Many
issues
were
addressed
and
excellent
ideas
and
solutions
were
presented.
The
meeting
was
attended
by
many
members
of
the
public,
and
their
participation
was
greatly
appreciated.

F
Hi,
I'm
commissioner
swanson
and
I'm
a
co-chair
on
the
event
on
the
mental
health
and
vaping
prevention
subcommittee.
We're
currently
looking
to
recruit
more
committee
members
in
order
to
require
a
diverse
group
of
youth
from
the
thousand
oaks
area
to
proportionally
represent
all
of
our
community.
We
appreciate
all
who
have
expressed
interest
and
we
hope
to
see
you
at
our
upcoming
meeting.
If
you
would
like
to
attend
this
meeting
or
the
subcommittee
please
reach
out
to
us
for
more.
B
Hi
so
currently,
commissioner
shu
and
I
are
working
on
getting
people
involved
in
our
subcommittee
and
we
have
a
plan
and
right
now
we're
just
working
on
the
technicalities
and
we
have
a
few
ideas,
but
we're
not
sure
if
they'll
be
able
to
work
so
we're
going
through
right
now
and
trying
to
figure
out
the
logistics
before
we
move
forward
enough.
I
Yeah
hi
everyone.
We
will
be
having
an
environmental
subcommittee
meeting
tomorrow,
thursday
november
5th.
At
that
meeting,
we
will
be
going
over
an
overview
of
the
committee
and
what
our
goals
will
be
for
the
year.
We
plan
on
working
with
environmental
action
plan
of
the
city
and
providing
a
youth
perspective
and
input
on
environmental
topics
such
as
sustainability
in
the
community.
If
you're
interested
in
being
involved
in
the
subcommittee,
please
reach
out
to
me,
commissioner
manuel
or
the
youth
commission,
email
at
youth,
commission,
yokes.org.
E
We'll
have
meetings
on
the
second
tues
on
the
second
wednesday
of
every
month
at
6,
00
pm
and
we're
going
to
look
into
how
we
can
promote
school
safety
by
working
with
the
school
resource
officers
and
other
people
in
the
community.
That
can
help
us
and
then
also
as
many
know,
the
this
saturday
is
the
two
year
anniversary
of
the
tragedy
that
happened
at
borderline.
E
So
the
youth
commission
encourages
everyone
to
partake
in
the
12
acts
of
kindness,
that's
getting
put
on
by
the
city.
The
purpose
is
to
remember
the
12
victims
who
lost
their
lives
at
borderline
and
also
honor.
Those
who
survived
the
idea
is
to
perform
12
random
acts
of
kindness,
such
as
saying
hello
to
someone
passing
by
complimenting
them
buying
someone's
drink
in
front
of
you
at
like
a
drive-through.
Anything
like
that
until
you
get
to
12
acts
throughout
the
month
of
november,
so
try
to
complete
it
by
november
30th.
E
A
D
Thank
you,
hi
everyone,
I'm
riley
goodnight
and
I'm
co-chairing
the
youth
recognition
awards
with
commissioner
shu
this
year.
We
are
excited
to
be
putting
on
the
annual
youth
recognition
awards.
To
summarize
this
event:
honors
youth
volunteers
at
an
awards
ceremony
and
recognizes
a
youth
of
the
year
due
to
covenant
19
restrictions.
We
are
unable
to
perform
the
ceremony
in
our
usual
venue.
However,
we
are
brainstorming
ideas
on
how
to
hold
the
events
in
person
with
safety
in
mind.
I
We
have
many
ideas
for
how
the
ceremony
will
take
place
and,
of
course,
we
will
be
enforcing
mass
usage
and
six
feet.
Social
distancing
nominations
begin
in
february,
so
make
sure
to
keep
up
with
our
meetings
and
our
social
media
accounts
for
more
information.
I

you,

slasher
hi,
I'm
lindsey
friedman,
I'm
co-chairing
the
therapeutic
dances
here
with
commissioner
alpert
due
to
circumstances
constantly
changing.
Nothing
is
totally
finalized,
but
the
current
date
for
the
therapeutic
dance
is
april.
24Th
2021.,
since
the
future
is
so
unpredictable.
We
have
decided
to
plan
two
different
versions
of
the
dance
this
year,
one
being
an
outdoor,
in-person
dance
and
the
alternative
being
a
drive-in
movie
type
dance.
We
are
unsure
of
many
details
as
of
right
now,
but
as
the
conditions
around
us
are
rapidly
exchanging,
so
are
our
plans.

to
translate
their
stories
into
original
verse
in
each
session.
They
will
collectively
brainstorm
ideas
for
lyrics,
based
on
a
theme
then
learn
how
to
turn
those
ideas
into
their
own
original
song.

we
are
all

you're

G
Thank
you
very
much
appreciate
that
the
cycles
for
success
program
is
designed
to
meet
the
needs
of
teens,
who
can't
get
around
our
area
here
in
thousand
oaks.
These
teens
are
facing
hard
challenges
these
days,
dealing
with
loss
of
income
for
the
family,
lacking
resources
just
paying
just
having
nothing
to
get
around
and
lacking
any
source
of
transportation.
G
Well,
the
youth
outreach
program
which
I'm
a
part
of
started
the
cycle
first
success
program
about
three
years
ago
since
then,
we've
given
out
about
150
bikes
to
needy
teens
now
the
way
we
get
these
bikes
are
from
concerned
citizens
who
actually
donate
bikes
to
us
and
then
in
turn,
we
refurbish
them.
If
they're
likely,
you
know
if
we
need
some
modifications
here
and
there,
and
then
we
give
them
out
to
those
teens
in
need.
G
G
Now,
if
anyone
out
in
the
community
would
like
to
donate
a
bike,
a
gently
used
bike
or
actually
a
new
bike,
they
can
reach
me
at
the
thousand
oaks

they
can
reach

are

order,
working
order,
they're
ready
to
go,
and
thanks
to
our
community
members

there.

The
sixth

was
able
to
come
back
to
campus
on
september
14th
and
the
rest
of
the
school
returned
on
october
26th.
During
the
time
it
was
just
the
sixth
grade
on
campus.
They
were
split
into
three
cohorts:
pink,
green
and
yellow
each
with
12
to
13
students,
the
teachers
zoomed
into
the
classroom
and
the
students
were
supervised
by
a
cohort
aid.
In
addition,
lorena
was
able
to
continue
the
tradition
of
friendship
week,
even
though
it
looked
very
different
this
year.
B
B
B
Many
other
arts
groups
have
also
been
able
to
continue
both
online
in
person,
including
a
fully
online
play
over
200
clubs
at
lorena
are
still
holding
meetings
and
fundraisers
such
as
green
club,
interact
club
and
comedy
sports,
just
to
name
a
few.
Even
with
all
the
restrictions,
lorena's
cafeteria
has
also
been
able
to
stay
open
and
continue
making
food
each
day
for
lunch.
B
Lorena
is
also
excited
to
be
the
only
high
school
middle
school
in
thousand
oaks
to
be
holding
an
in-person
open
house
this
weekend,
lorena
has
also
been
offering
many
elective
classes
for
middle
schoolers,
such
as
mock
trial
speech
and
debate,
robotics,
world
languages,
newspaper
dance
and
eve.
While
we
were
online
a
cooking
class
as
we
continue
this
year,
hopefully
we'll
we
will
be
able
to
continue
to
begin
some
more
activities
that
we've
not
been
able
to
do
for
the
past.
Eight

thank
you.
B
Thank
you,
hello.
My
name
is

I'm
a

sequoia
has
a

going

Now
we
have
just
wrapped
up
our
food
drive,
we
are
happy
to
say
we
got
a
lot
of
donations
and
starting
in
december
we
will
be
having
a
toy
drive.
B
We
also
are
going
to
have
a
talent
show
a
couple
days
before
winter
break
well
on
zoom,
and
so
we
are
have
not
gone
back
to

yet
we
have
had
a
lunchtime
activities
or
with
which
are
cahoots
or
other
con
or
other
kinds
of
virtual
games
where
we
did
trivia
about
our

our

history,
we
also
have
been
doing.

the

We
also
hosted
a
pumpkin
carving
contest
for
the
staff,
and
the
winner
will
also
be
announced.
Next
week
we
have
started
sending
out
cards
to
students
and
staff
for
their
birthdays.
Every
thursday
we
have
an
instagram

by
hosted
by
various
students,
groups
and
staff
from
the
school
tomorrow,
the
dance
team
will
be
doing
our
instagram
takeover.
F
Soon.
We
will
be
choosing
our
october
student
of
the
month.
They
will
be
recognized
on
our
instagram.
This
friday
we
will
be
having
a
spirit
day
where
people
will
wear
white
or
tio
strong
gear
to
honor
the
victims
of
borderline.
As
we
remember
the
two-year
anniversary
next
tuesday,
there
will
be
another
spirit
day
where
people
will
wear
will
wear
red,
white
and
blue.
In
honor
of
veterans
day,
we
asked
our
staff
to
send
in
memorials
of
veterans
and
their
family
and
we'll
be
posting
them
on
our
instagram
on
the
11th.
F
F
The
people
with
the
most
participation
will
win
prizes
at
the
end
of
the
year.
We
are
also
planning
a
homecoming.
We
will
be
sending
out
the
forms
to
nominate
the
court
this
week
and
then
on
the
19th.
The
court
will
be
announced
and
there
will
be
a
spirit
day
in
which
people
will
wear
formal
attire.
Finally,
the
cheer
and
dance
teams
will
be
sending
in
videos
of
their
performances
for
us
to
post
on
homecoming.
F
B
Thank
you.
Our
next
speaker
is
evelyn
marion
barber
hi,
I'm
going
to
speak
on
the
behalf
of
lorena
high
school,
so
I'm
the
senior
class
president
and
I've
been
a
student
at
lorena
for
four
years
due
to
the
pandemic.
Right
now,
our
school
implemented
a
distance
learning
paradigm
in
march
last
year,
where
we
logged
into
school
and
our
teachers
were
instructing
us
remotely
for
like
a
regular
school
day
and
after
the
summer
break,
we
started
school
using
the
same
paradigm.
B
So,
as
reagan
said
on
october
26
our
whole
school
went
back
in
person,
so
lorena's
made
it
very
easy
to
be
an
online
student
during
these
challenging
times,
even
though
some
of
us
are
online
right
now,
it's
easy
to
feel
connected
because
we
have
social
distancing
activities
like
movie
nights
with
our
grade
where
we
can
bond
with
the
girls
in
our
class
same
with
academic
teams.
So,
as
she
said,
we're
we
are
back
on
campus
and
we
have
academic
teams
on
campus
practicing.
B
The
loudspeakers
during
during
break
lorena
is
also
having
a
socially
distanced
open
house
for
high
school
middle
school
students
on
sunday
november,
8th
since
lorena
is
an
all-girls
school.
It's
a
perfect
way
for
girls
to
be
the
center
of
everything
and
changes
the
whole
dynamic.
I
love
being
at
lorena
and
speaking
my
voice
without
distractions,
and
I
can
thrive
in
the
classroom
and
beyond
as
a
lorena
lorena
senior,
I'm
uniquely
prepared
for
the
next
steps
in
life
because
of
lorena's
preparation
and
comfort.
They
provide
during
this
