Thank
you,
hello.
Everyone
today,
we
have
catherine
speaking
for
us.
Catherine
is
the
executive
director
and
the
founder
of
the
non-profit
organization,
reality
improv
connection
and
its
bright
program.
She
has
been
teaching
improv
and
leading
theater
for
social
change
for
25
years,
as
the
oldest
of
10
kids,
with
six
children
of
her
own,
she
has
always
loved
to
work
with
youth.
The
bright
program
was
developed
from
her
passion
to
find
a
way
to
do
creative
work
that
could
make
a
difference
in
people's
lives.
E
There
we
go
bright,
we've
been
around
since
2005,
but
you
might
have
been
more
familiar
with
us.
What's
our
previous
name,
we
were
known
as
straight
up
for
our
first
13
or
so
years,
and
we
found
that
bright
was
a
name
that
really
spoke
to
who
we
are
a
little
more.
It
stands
for
building
resilience
and
inclusion
through
engagement,
and
here
you
have
a
picture
of
our
bright
team.
In
a
zoom
meeting.
We
were
using
zoom
even
before
it
was
popular
and
definitely
been
exploring
a
lot
of
new
ways
to
use
it
now.
E
So
it's
really
an
honor
to
be
speaking
to
young
people
like
yourself,
we
might
best
be
known
for
the
prevention
games.
You
might
have
played
our
games
in
your
high
school
or
middle
school
classrooms.
We
are
known
for
making
drug
and
alcohol
prevention
interactive
and
fun.
So
we
have
a
lot
of
activities
that
might
be
in
a
game
format,
and
then
we
also
have
a
lot
of
other
workshops
for
school
classrooms
for
youth
clubs
also
for
parents.
E
E
A
lot
of
what
we
do
in
working
with
youth
is
not
just
educating
them,
though,
but
it's
also
listening
to
them
and
hearing
what
they
have
to
say
and
that's
part
of
what
the
social
change
theater
is
about
using
theater
as
a
way
of
engaging
community
and
discussion,
and
you
know
we
started
because
the
county
knew
that
they
needed
to
know
what
young
people
had
to
say
that
we
needed
to
hear
from
them
what
what
needs
to
change
and
engage
them.
So
that's
what
we're
all
about!
E
We,
we
definitely
go
into
classrooms,
although
we're
not
doing
a
lot
of
classrooms
right
now
we
are
doing
class
sessions
in
zoom,
and
so
we've
also
added
some
things
to
our
schedule.
Since
we're
not
at
the
schools,
we've
been
helping,
various
schools
start
gsas
or
gay
straight
alliance
or
gendered
sexuality
clubs.
So
if
any
of
your
schools
are
interested,
we
can
help
them
get
one
going
or
support
whatever
kind
of
resource
they
might
need
and
then,
on
mondays,
at
four
right
now
we're
hosting
them
in
zoom
for
county
county-wide.
E
We
also
have
a
keeping
it
100
weekly
session.
That's
around
mental
health
and
well-being,
conversations,
whatever
kind
of
support
it
might
be,
and
so
we
have
these
right
now
live
in
our
zoom
on
wednesdays
at
four,
but
we're
also
available
to
bring
them
into
school
sessions
and
victoria.
Who
you
see
pictured
right
here
is
also
here
with
me,
and
I
want
to
introduce
her.
We
beyond
education,
like
I
said,
are
really
focused
on
youth
leadership
and
advocacy.
E
So
if
the
commit
youth
commission
is
interested,
we'd
love
to
support
and
be
a
resource
to
you
in
any
way,
you
might
we've
got
young
people
from
across
the
county,
doing
a
lot
of
different
work
and
I'm
going
to
introduce
victoria
sayeg
who's,
our
director
of
performing
arts
and
our
program
project
coordinator,
to
tell
you
a
little
bit
more
about
what
young
people
have
been
doing
with
us
recently
victoria.
G
Yes,
ma'am
hi
everybody.
Thank
you
for
having
us
here
today.
It's
my
pleasure
to
tell
you
a
little
bit
about
our
youth
leadership
and
advocacy
work.
We've
got
going
on
at
this
time.
We're
doing
psa
making
so
youth
between
the
ages
of
12
and
25
are
engaged
in
amplifying
their
voices
around
issues
that
they
care
about
through
creating
short
one
to
two
minute:
videos
that
we
then
air
and
share
across
our
county.
G
The
youth
are
doing
voice
over
work
with
scripts
that
they've,
written
or
scripts
that
we've
used
from
the
stanford
toolkit
the
cdc
and
other
awesome
resources.
We
have.
The
youth
in
our
community
are
doing
photography,
exploration
and
exhibits.
Where
they'll
have
a
prompt
and
go
out
in
the
world
and
take
pictures
of
things,
they
want
to
see
changed
or
things
they
want
to
see
talked
about,
and
then
we
talk
about
it
and
eventually
and
hopefully
bring
it
to
lawmakers
and
decision
makers
and
the
change
makers
in
our
community.
G
There
are
prompts
that
the
youth
will
have
a
period
to
sit
and
explore
their
own
thoughts,
connect
themselves
to
themselves
and
write
about
the
issues
that
they
care
about,
often
addiction
or
substance
prevention
related
artwork.
I
love
this
part
of
my
job
you're,
looking
at
four
beautiful
works
of
art
from
students
and
youth
in
our
community
again
around
hot
issues,
around
issues
that
they
care
about
about
things
that
keep
them
up
at
night
about
things.
G
They
want
to
see
changed
anything
from
smoking,
cigarettes,
harming
the
ocean
to
george
floyd's
murder
to
healthy
and
unhealthy
hearts
because
of
vaping,
and
then
that
vaping
poem
you
see
below
improv
and
theater
for
social
change.
So
catherine
and
I
share
the
same
background
and
love
for
applied,
improv
being
able
to
feel
things
and
let
things
go
so
we
find
ourselves
in
our
community
trying
to
help
youth
play
with
those
emotions
and
those
cool
things.
G
So,
every
tuesday,
at
six
o'clock
I
offer
a
one
hour
workshop
again
open
to
youth
ages,
12
to
25.
All
of
our
workshops
are
free
of
charge
and
we
get
to
explore
different
improv
games
that
can
help
us
not
only
in
a
theatrical
sense,
but
in
a
bigger,
broader
sense.
How
do
I
exist
in
this
world
and
how
do
I
be
my
best
self
and
how
do
I
make
others
look
good.
While
I
feel
good
myself.
G
Bright
connections
has
been
an
amazing
thing
that
we're
always
looking
for
participants
and
creatives
to
present
with
us.
Bright
connections
is
sort
of
a
call
and
response
system.
So
the
call
is
done
by
the
youth,
I
think
on
your
left.
Maybe
it's
on
your
right.
The
two
people
hugging
those
are
two
more
park:
college
students.
G
But
then
we
also
invited
a
panel
of
experts
so
on
the
picture
next
to
it,
you'll
see
our
host
and
a
panel
of
therapists
mental
health
professionals
a
given
hour,
which
is
a
non-profit
organization
that
works
to
get
therapy
to
everybody
who
needs
it
and
we
did
a
live
stream.
So
the
comments
like
you
see
below
are
coming
up,
live
for
members
in
our
community
wanting
to
know
a
little
bit
more
and
it
was
really
an
amazing
intersection
of
art
and
science
of
youth
with
concerns
and
adults
who
want
to
help
those
youth.
G
So
we
offer
bright
connections
every
month.
If
you
have,
it
doesn't
have
to
be
a
play,
it
could
be
anything
it
could
be
a
piece
of
music
or
a
song
or
a
sculpture
or
piece
of
art.
Anything
you
want
to
put
into
the
community
and
have
everybody
talk
about.
Please
bring
that
to
us
because
we're
always
looking
for
additional
things.
E
Oh,
it's
my
turn
already
well,
we
are
not
only
doing
our
things
in
zoom.
We
didn't
think
that
was
enough.
I
wasn't
engaging
enough
and
that
some
people
are
really
uncomfortable
being
on
camera.
So
we
have
worked
to
develop
a
whole
3d
virtual
environment,
where
we
can
engage
as
avatars.
E
It's
been
an
amazing
adventure
that
is
another
picture
of
our
team.
It's
not
a
zoom.
It's
a
it's
a
bright
world.
We
have
so
many
different
scenes
going
on
in
bright
world.
It's
a
place
that
is
part
a
way
to
share
the
art
and
photography.
We
have
a
3d
art
gallery
where
the
photography
is
hanging.
Now,
since
we
couldn't
do
a
live
gallery
view,
there's
sort
of
team
center
type
activities
there,
which
we've
actually
talked
recently
to
the
thousand
oaks
teen
center
and
hope
to
be
engaging
them.
E
We
have
there's
a
lot
of
different
meeting
spaces
and
you
can
see
it
at
the
right.
We're
doing
improv
classes
there,
and
one
of
the
things
we
might
be
known
for
in
thousand
oaks
is
the
reality
parties
for
parents
so
twice
a
year
for
many
years
now,
maybe
10
or
more
we've
been
doing
yearly
reality
parties
or
twice
a
year
reality
parties
for
parents,
and
this
year
we
haven't
been
able
to
do
them.
E
So
we've
been
creating
a
virtual
reality
party
for
parents
in
bright
world,
so
we
definitely
are
going
to
be
looking
for
teams
to
come
in
there
and
be
actors
as
avatars,
but
one
of
the
things
that's
going
to
be
different
about
this
one,
besides
being
virtual.
Is
that
we're
allowing
parents
to
bring
their
teens
through
this
one?
That's
one
of
the
things
parents
love
these
and
they
they
come
and
feel
like
it's
so
I'm
powerful,
but
they
wish
they
could
bring
their
kids
through
and
the
reality
parties.
E
We
do
in
person,
it's
not
appropriate
and
we
don't
have
enough
space
to
bring
enough
people
through.
We
usually
have
a
wait
list
of
parents,
so
they
ask
for
that
a
lot,
and
so
this
is
one
of
the
ways
we're
going
to
meet
that
too.
E
So
in
bright
world
parents
can
come
in
and
take
the
reality
party
tour
with
their
kids,
so
I'm
hoping
that
members
of
the
youth
commission
or
others
in
your
community
might
be
interested
in
either
taking
advantage
of
some
of
the
services
and
sessions
that
we
do
or
interested
in
sharing
and
being
part
doing
some
sort
of
projects.
We
definitely
can
give
community
service
hours
for
any
kind
of
participation
with
us
and
are
great
at
writing.
E
Letters
of
recommendation
and
we'd
love
to
have
more
youth
getting
in
there
and
being
hosts
and
interacting
with
this
and
bright
world,
so
bright.link,
slash
bright
is
the
website
where
our
current
online
focused
content
is
so
that's
probably
the
best
website
to
use
for
us
right
now
and
you
can
reach
me
at
info
brightyouth.org.
E
You
can
find
us
across
social
media
and
not
just
instagram
at
bright
youth.
So
that's
that's
what
we
have
so
far
we're
happy
if
we
have
the
chance
to
answer
some
questions.
C
I
was
just
wondering
in
like
a
year
or
two
when
coveted,
like
is
kind
of
like
simmer
down
a
little
bit.
Do
you
think
you'll
continue
to
use
your
virtual,
like
3d
world,
with
like
the
reality
parties
and
everything,
or
do
you
think
you'll
go
back
to
in
person
or
a
mix
of
both.
E
I
think
we'll
do
both.
I
mean,
I
think,
there's
no
going
back,
there's
some
of
the
things
that
have
been
happening
even
in
zoom
and
especially
in
bright
world.
That,
I
think,
is
so
amazing
and
it's
it's.
You
know
it
breaks
down
the
transportation
barrier
for
one
thing,
and
it
makes
it
more
time-
and
I
think
that
there's
things
that
that
you
know
we
can
do
in
there
that
we
are
going
to
keep
going.
So
my
plan
is
to
to
keep
it
up.
Thank
you
for
asking
that.
H
I
had
a
question
regarding
what
is
covered
under
like
bright
reality
parties
and,
like
the
events
you
put
on,
do
you
all
cover
like
designated
drivers
and
like
teaching,
teens
and
parents
about
like
driving
safely.
E
Yeah
one
of
the
topics
in
our
in
the
various
topics
that
we
require
is
specific
to
impaired
driving
and
in
the
reality
party
for
parents.
It's
not
a
huge
feature,
but
there
is
the
scene
around
somebody
that
gets
upset
and
finds
their
keys
and
leaves
and
they're
like
hey,
I
thought
we
took
their
keys
and
we
usually
have
the
youth.
Are
they
have
a
script
and
then
they're
also
telling
us
what
needs
to
be
added
to
that
script.
Right
and
they're
also
improvising
with
it.
E
D
Commissioner
nash,
I
just
wanted
to
say
how
cool
the
3d
virtual
reality
with
the
reality
party
is,
and
then
just
about
that
show,
or
example.
Is
that
open
to
a
larger
audience
now
that
is
virtual
and
does
it
reach
outside
of
thousand
oaks.
E
Yeah
our
work
is,
is
county-wide
and
the
the
events
that
we
do
in
thousand
oaks
are
usually
you
know,
they're
sort
of
open,
but
we
fill
them
up
with
thousand
oaks
people
first
and
they
usually
do
fill
up
so,
but
this
does
make
it
so
that
it
can
be
wider.
Our
main
focus
with
brightworld,
because
our
funding
is
ventura
county,
is
ventura
county
and
we're
pretty
careful
about
who
can
be
a
part
of
it.
E
E
For
example,
will
have
parents
can
sign
up
and
and
come
through
it,
and
we
might
have
that
scene,
maybe
open
for
people
who
want
to
just
sign
up,
but
in
general,
for
most
of
the
time
it's
a
safe
place
where
people
can't
just
sign
up
and
come
in,
so
the
people
maybe
need
students
that
are
coming
in
would
get
a
recommendation
from
a
teacher
at
their
school.
That
verifies
that's
who
they
are
and
that
they
think
they'll
be
a
good
citizen.
E
H
Yeah,
I
have
another
question,
sometimes
it's
hard
to
have
conversations
with,
like
friends
or
people.
We
know
when,
like
things
happen
and
they're
doing
it's
not
like
I
don't
know,
I
wouldn't
necessarily
do
so.
How
do
you
recommend
to
talk
to
them
or
to
be
someone
and
like
be
there
for
them
to
talk
to
like
if
they're
ever
really
going
through
anything.
E
That's
a
really
great
question,
and
I
don't
know
if
victoria
also
wants
to
speak
to
that
I'll.
Just
say.
First
of
all,
that's
part
of
what
breit
does
in
terms
of
helping
young
people
who
want
to
be
mentors
and
want
to
be
support
for
their
peers
to
have
that
opportunity
to
to
practice
to
learn
so
sessions
around
how
to
be.
E
You
know
a
support,
how
to
be
how
to
listen,
right
and
and
also
then
how
to
refer
them
victoria.
Did
you
want
to
speak
to
that?
Also.
G
Catherine,
I
think
you
did
a
great
job
covering
everything
I
was
going
to
say
the
courage
to
want
to
be
there
for
them
will
get
you
a
long
way
from
what
we've
seen
with
the
youth
in
our
community.
So
thank
you
for
being
a
person
that
wants
to
help
make
the
world
a
better
place
and
listening
goes
a
long
way
too.
There's
an
amazing
list
of
resources
available
given
hour
I
mentioned
earlier.
They
do
get
therapists
and
mental
health
professionals
in
contact
with
those
in
need.
G
So
if
you
do
see
a
friend
in
a
dire
situation,
you
may
always
refer
them
to
give
an
hour
two
one.
One
is
an
amazing
resource
that
I
didn't
know
about
until
I
worked
upright.
I
don't
know
if
you
all
know,
but
you
can
pick
up
the
phone
and
call
211
247
and
a
person
will
answer
and
assist
you
with.
Oh
really,
almost
anything
county-wide
that
you
need
help
with.
G
E
You
know
what
that
reminds
me,
catherine,
that
one
of
the
reasons
we
built
the
3d
virtual
environment
is
that
a
lot
of
schools
wanted
to
build
wellness
centers
on
their
campuses,
and
we
were
engaging
youth
in
what
does
a
wellness
center.
What
what
does
that
exist
right?
Is
it
just
counselors
and
brochures,
or
is
it
a
place
to
relax
or
to
listen
or
to
be
there
with
friends,
and
so
we
build
right
world
in
part
to
be
able
to
help
young
people
create
wellness
centers
on
there.
D
B
Thank
you
guys
again.
Item
6
on
the
agenda
is
project
reports.
The
youth
commission
undertakes
a
number
of
projects
during
the
year.
I
will
introduce
the
following
commissioners:
whoever
see
the
coordination
of
these
projects
and
ask
them
to
present
summaries
and
please
provide
any
updates
item.
6A
is
youth
master
plan
implementation.
Will?
Commissioner
emanuel,
please
give
the
report.
D
Perfect
yeah.
First
we
have
our
report
on
school
safety
for
from
commissioner
mckeon.
If
you'd
like
to
give
that
now,.
I
Thank
you,
my
name's
com
or
my
I'm,
commissioner
mccune
and
myself,
along
with
commissioner
melton,
we
are
leading
the
school
safety
committee.
If
anyone
is
interested
in
getting
involved,
you
can
email,
the
youth,
commission
or
dmm,
and
that
information
will
get
to
us.
I
So
our
objective
for
this
year
we're
just
trying
to
promote
school
safety
in
a
variety
of
ways
and
I'll
update
you
on
some
of
the
ideas
we
have,
we
will
be
putting
together
an
informational
video
for
students
to
see
as
well
it'll
be
accessible
on
a
bunch
of
platforms
for
staff,
for
students
for
anyone
else
in
the
community
and
we're
going
to
have
different
types
of
students,
staff
members,
school
safety,
resource
officers
and
other
people
within
the
community
of
the
police
department.
H
Thank
you.
So
our
next
meeting
will
be
next
monday
and
basically,
this
committee
is
focused
on
giving
input
on
like
what
the
youth
want
to
see
regarding
climate
and
the
environment
in
the
city
of
thousand
oaks
in
the
future
years
and
like
right
now,
like
the
biggest
issues
that
we
notice
in
our
community.
H
D
Awesome,
thank
you
so
much
and
lastly,
we
have
the
recreation
committee
with
commissioner
mccary,
if
you'd
like
to
give
that
now.
Please.
H
So
currently
we
are
working
on
catherine
and
I
are
working
together
figuring
out
ways
to
for
our
main
goal
of
inclusion
and
working
with
together
and
we're
also
trying
to
recruit
some
more
people
to
come
join.
Our
meeting
where
I
have
like
we
don't
have
a
ton
of
people
right
now,
but
we
are
getting
a
lot
more.
So
that's,
basically
it
right
now.
B
A
Thank
you,
hi
everyone,
I'm
riley
goodnight
and
I'm
co-chairing
the
youth
recognition
awards
with
commissioner
shu
this
year.
We
are
excited
to
be
putting
on
the
annual
youth
recognition
awards.
To
summarize
this
event
that
honors
youth
volunteers
at
an
awards
ceremony
and
recognizes
a
youth
of
the
year
due
to
coven
19
restrictions.
We
are
unable
to
perform
the
ceremony
in
our
usual
venue.
However,
we
are
brainstorming
ideas
on
how
to
hold
the
event
in
person
with
safety
in
mind.
B
A
Thank
you,
chair
slosher,
good
evening.
The
therapeutic
dance
committee
is
still
currently
planning
two
alternative
dances.
With
the
constant
changes
in
coven
19
pandemic.
We
have
planned
two
different
versions
of
the
dance
this
year,
one
being
an
outdoor
in-person
event
and
one
being
a
drive-in
style
event.
We
are
also
considering
the
option
of
an
entirely
remote
zoom
dance.
As
the
date
gets
closer.
A
final
decision
will
be
reached.
Thank
you.

C
D
Thank
you
to
those
representatives
who
came
out
to
make
reports
for
your
schools.
We
encourage
all
asb
and
asgs
to
send
your
representatives
each
month
as
we
come
to
the
close
of
our
meeting.
I
would
like
to
introduce
item
8
commissioner
comments.
This
is
the
last
portion
of
our
meeting
where
commissioners
can
provide
any
information,
comment
or
announcements
which
no
action
by
the
commission
will
be
taken
at
this
time.
Are
there
any
commissioner
comments
cherish
lottery.
B
So,
as
many
of
us
know
adult
commissioner
pete
martinez
is
retiring
and
we
wanted
to
say
some
goodbyes,
so
pete
can
have
this
to
look
back
on
because
it
is
recorded.
So
I
thought
it
would
start
us
off
pete.
Thank
you
for
all
your
years
of
service
to
our
community.
B
I
know
how
hard
you
know
like
and
how
much
work
you've
put
into
all
of
your
programs
and
how
many
lives
you've
touched
like
you've
been
on
the
commission
for
many
years
before
any
of
us
and
in
four
short
years
you
have
shown
me
nothing
but
kindness,
and
I'm
so
thankful
for
that
you're.
So
genuine
and
I
know
I
can
always
come
to
you
with
anything
and
really
make
that
clear.
A
Oh
boy,
okay,
he
thanks
man
for
always
being
there
for
me,
like
every
time
my
parents
would
just
be
running
late
to
pick
me
up
after
meetings.
You'd
always
stay
behind
and
make
small
talk
with
me
and
just
kind
of
ask
about
how
like
things
are
going
my
life
and
even
if
it
was
like
really
mundane,
you'd
always
give
a
very
good
level
of
enthusiasm
about
it,
and
I
don't
think
you'll
ever
know
how
much
that
mattered
to
me
and
your
kindness
from
the
moment
that
I
met
you
almost
four
years
ago
at
this
point.
A
C
Hi,
I
just
wanted
to
say,
like
a
super
big,
thank
you
for
everything
you
do
like
so
many
things
in
this
community
like
you
helped
run
and
like
just
like
everyone.
You
like
talk
to
you
just
have
a
positive
impact
on
every
single
person
you
meet
and
like
not
many
people
can
do
that,
and
I
just
you
have
been
nothing
but
nice
to
me
and
you've
been
so
supportive
and
I
just
think
that's
like
amazing.
So
thank
you
and
I'm
really
happy
that
you're.
H
So
I
really
appreciate
it
and
I
really
hope
that
you
enjoy
your
retirement
and
your
break
and
you
enjoy
your
time,
maybe
hiking
or
something
and
having
fun
yeah
so
we'll
miss
you.
I
P,
thank
you
so
much
for
everything
you
do
for
the
community
there's
so
many
organizations
and
events
that
wouldn't
have
happened
without
you.
I
remember
you
would
always
reach
out
to
me
specifically
and
ask
about
like
the
bikes
and
everything
and
ask
me
to
get
the
word
out
and
like
because
you
asked
I
wanted
to,
because
I
wanted
to
make
you
proud,
because
you
made
us
so
proud
throughout
the
years
and
just
like
everyone
else
said
you
are
like
the
most
genuine
person.
I
I've
owned,
like
I've
ever
met
every
single
meeting,
whether
it
was
like
an
a
big
conversation
or
a
small
one.
You
would
just
like
always
bring
something
up
if
I
had
new
shoes
on
you'd
notice,
that
and
you're
like.
Oh
those
are
cute
shoes
like
it's
the
little
things,
though,
that
like
really
make
an
impact,
and
it
just
felt
like
instead
of
like
an
advisor,
you
were
like
our
mentor
and
you
are
a
friend
on
the
commission,
and
I
really
thank
you
for
all
your
service.
I
I
I
just
want
to
say
thank
you
pete
for
everything
you've
done
not
only
for
this
community,
but
for
the
commission,
and
just
me
like
you've,
always
been
such
a
kind
and
genuinely
nice
person.
You've
always
cared
so
much
for
everyone
like.
If
someone
just
showed
up
to
a
meeting,
you
just
ask
them
how
they
are
and
she'll
always
have
a
smile
on
their
face
and
even
if
they
were
like.
I
So
if
I
was
having
a
bad
day
and
no
one
really
knew
it,
but
just
like
you
being
so
friendly
and
nice,
you
would
just
like
put
me
in
a
better
mood
and
a
better
place.
I
just
want
to
say
thank
you
so
much
because
you're
such
an
inspiration,
which,
with
the
care
that
you
take
for
people,
it's
just
so
inspiring
for
me
as
I
go
forward
in
my
life.
So
I
wanted
to
wish
you
the
best
in
retirement
and
thank
you
for
everything.
You've
done.
H
I
hope
you
really
really
enjoy
your
retirement
and
I
hope-
and
I
introduce
back
and
you'll
visit
us
in
some
meetings,
whether
that
be
virtual
or
in
person,
because
there's
no
way
I
want
to
lose
touch
with
you,
because
I
can't
even
explain
to
you
how
much
you've
been
an
influence
in
my
life
and
just
a
really
amazing
person
and
really
okay,
she's
a
really
good
person.
Thank
you.
H
Hi,
I
just
want
to
say
thank
you
so
much
for
everything
you've
done
for
this
community
and
for
the
youth
commission.
I
really
wish
I'd
had
the
chance
to
get
you
to
get
to
know
you
a
little
better,
but
I
just
I
wish
you
all
the
best
in
your
retirement.
F
I
F
H
Hey
pete,
like
ali,
I
never
really
got
to
know
you
or
talk
to
you
a
lot,
especially
not
see
you
in
person,
but
still
especially
seeing
everyone
talking
tonight,
really
thank
you
for
all
the
work
that
you've
done
and
for
all
your
kindness,
even
though
we
haven't
met
in
person
just
when
I
was
starting
out
this
year
on
the
commission-
and
I
was
nervous,
your
kindness
and
positivity
always
helped
things
feel
a
little
bit
easier.
So
thank
you.
F
Thank
you
fan
appreciate
it.
Thank
you
for
your
words.
Really.
That
means
a
lot,
no
matter
if
we
just
barely
knew
each
other.
I
it's
the
words
that
are
what
counts
to
me.
Okay
and
they'll.
Your
words
will
stay
with
me
as
everybody
else's
words
will
stay
with
me
for
the
rest
of
my
life.
So
I
appreciate
it.
Thank.
A
I'm
first
going
to
be
I'm
going
to
wear
a
mask
for
a
few
minutes
here.
I
just
want
you
to
have
a
visual
of
the
year,
you
retired,
so
that
you
don't
forget
what
we
all
look
like
for
a
good
part
of
that
year
and
like.
G
A
Many
others
have
said,
I
think,
we're
all
sad
to
see
that
you're
retiring
and,
though
we're
extremely
happy
for
you
as
well,
and
I
think
over
you
have
over
the
past
30
years,
left
a
personal
impact
on
the
thousand
oaks
community
members.
A
Even
though
some
people
are
more
grown
up
now
and
but
they
still
remember
you
helping
them
as
a
teenager
and
you
literally
helped
them
in
a
very
positive
way.
It
was
very
life-changing
the
way
that
you've
helped
some
of
these
people
and
for
the
past
number
of
years,
I've
enjoyed
working
with
you
and
my
favorite
is
team
teaching
with
you
and
when
you
come
up
with
the
perfect
words
to
describe
something
I
often
think
to
myself.
A
Oh,
why
didn't
I
think
of
that
and
anyway
you're
a
class
act
and
you're
wise
in
your
counsel,
you're,
smart
and,
as
many
others
have
said,
you're
very
kind,
and
we
have
all
the
other
positive
adjectives
that
we
would
have
to
say
all
night
to
put
down
here.
So
I'm
going
to
say,
happy
trails,
both
on
your
dudes
ranch,
horses
and
hiking
in
the
national
park.
F
F
Okay,
but
I
just
wanted
to
say
alain
thank
you
for
all
your
support
and
it's
been
a
pleasure
and
who
knows
what
lies
in
the
future
for
not
only
for
me
but
for
all
of
us,
okay,
liam!
So
again,
you
never
know
what's
gonna
happen
in
the
future,
I
always
keep
my
door
open
for
any
possibilities
so,
but
thank
you
again,
man,
for
your
words,
appreciate
it
right
here.
D
All
right,
so
it's
my
turn.
Hi
pete.
I
just
wanted
to
say
thank
you
so
so
much
for
everything
you've
done
for
the
thousands
of
commission
and,
for
my
whole
family,
really
you've
made
such
a
big
impact
in
my
life.
My
sister's
lives
my
parents
life.
They
always
look
up
to
you
and
they
see
you
as
a
beacon
of
positivity
and
whenever
something
goes
wrong,
you're,
never
bogged
down,
you're,
always
positive.
You
put
a
positive
spin
on
everything,
regardless
of
the
situation.
D
I
think
that's
so
admirable
and
I
think
it's
a
lesson
we
can
all
take
from
you
and
put
into
our
futures
in
our
lives,
and
I
just
want
to
say
that
I
know
if
anything
ever
goes
wrong.
You'll
be
here
to
call
and
to
be
an
open
ear
shoulder
to
lean
on
and
it's
so
important
to
every
single
one
of
us.
So
thank
you.
F
F
I
just
need
to
say
a
couple
of
things,
even
though
I've
been
with
the
youth
commission,
I
don't
know
how
many
years
many
many
years
and
seen
many
many
faces
each
of
those
faces,
and
those
relations
meant
a
lot
but
because
of
this
year,
and
because
of
my
last
year
and
because
of
our
situation
and
all
of
our
work,
we've
been
trying
to
do,
and
especially
last
year,
going
into
this
year,
it's
been
a
challenge.
F
This
is
the
most
meaningful
one
for
me,
even
though
we're
doing
it
in
a
virtual
way,
our
hearts
are
reaching
out
to
each
other
and
and
they're.
F
You
can't
be
fake,
you
can't
fake
it,
so
I
I
always
thought
it
was
an
opportunity
and
I
get
to
opportunity
to
do
all
the
wonderful
things
we've
done
together
and
I
cherish
them.
So
I
cherish
the
time
with
you.
So
thank
you
again
for
all
your
words
each
and
every
one
of
you
wish
you
all
the
best
you
deserve
it
and
you
always
deserve
the
best
for
yourself.
Okay,
so
just
take
it
one
day
at
a
time.
F
One
moment
at
a
time:
that's
all
we
can
do.
I
know
all
of
you
are
trying
really
hard
and
at
times
you
might
feel
very
lonely
and
might
feel
down
and
out
that's
part
of
life.
Yes,
I
get
that
but
call
somebody
up.
As
we
mentioned
the
beginning
of
this
session,
talk
to
someone
you
can
always
come
reach
me
reach
for
me,
but
just
go
to
somebody,
you
trust
and
just
open
up
with
your
heart
and
just
share
that
I
love
yous.
