A
B
B
Who,
though,
he
knew,
though
he
was
in
the
form
of
God,
did
not
count
equality
with
God
a
thing
to
be
grasped
but
emptied
himself
by
taking
the
form
of
a
servant
and
being
born
in
the
likeness
of
men
and
being
found
in
human
form.
He
humbled
himself
by
become
obedient
to
the
point
of
death,
even
death
on
a
cross.
B
Let
us
pray,
Heavenly,
Father,
almighty
God.
We
know
that
you
are
The
Giver
of
all
good
things,
and
we
know
that
you,
you
give
all
things
through
your
son,
Jesus
Christ.
Even
even
these
things
that
you
have
commanded
us
here
tonight,
humility
thinking
of
others
before
ourselves,
and
we
know
that
you
are
faithful
to
give
them
if
we,
if
we
ask
and
so
Lord,
we
ask
this
upon
this
meeting
tonight.
We
ask
that
you
bless
each
and
every
person
here
tonight.
With
these
gifts
through
Jesus
Christ
and
in
his
name
we
pray,
amen.
B

the
council

something
that
is

Now
is
your

to
do
so.
A
No

I
will
close

and
share
will
entertain
a

tonight's

All

please
say
aye
aye.
Any
opportunity
motion
carries
first
up
on
tonight's
agenda.
Is
a
wonderful
presentation
to
describe
a
little
bit
more
about
this
I'm
going
to
pass
it
off
to
the
liaison
to
the
mayor's
committee
for
people
with
disabilities
councilman
Randy
Tupper.
Thank
you
mayor.
D
A
little
over
a
year
ago
when,
when
the
mayor
asked
me
to
sit
on
the
committee
for
mayor's
committee
for
people
with
disabilities,
I
was
very
humbled
that
he
asked
in
every
meeting.
I
go
to
I'm
a
little
bit
more
humbled.
It
is
a
very,
very
dedicated
group
of
individuals
throughout
the
community
from
all
different
walks
of
you
know,
for
people
from
the
school
district
and
Voc,
Rehab
and
and
I
know
I'm
going
to
miss
a
bunch
of
them,
so
I'll
just
stop
from
there,
but
it
these
people
are
very
dedicated
to
people
with
disabilities.
D
They
want
the
best
for
everybody,
that's
in
our
community
and
without
them
there's
a
lot
of
those
people
that
that
wouldn't
get
the
results
that
they
do
yeah
so
like
I,
say,
I've
been
very,
very
blessed
with
being
on.
There.
I
look
forward
to
hopefully
staying
on
for
at
least
another
three
years.
There's
a
lot
of
exciting
things
that
we
go
through
every
month.
D
Matter
of
fact
go
ahead
and
got
an
invite
for
about
two
months
and
I
was
beginning
to
wonder
if
I
did
something
to
make
somebody
mad,
but
they
just
hadn't
met
for
a
couple
months
tonight
we're
going
to
give
out
some
awards
to
some
very
important
people
in
our
community
that
have
strive
to
make
everybody's
life
better.
Even
those
with
disabilities
so,
like
I,
say
very
humbling
to
be
on
this
committee
and
I
look
forward
to
another
three
years
of
it
and
with
that
we'll
turn
it
over
to
our
host.
E
E
The
mayor's
committee
for
people
with
disabilities
and
thank
you
very
much
mayor,
Reed
and
councilman
and
Council
women
for
allowing
us
to
come
tonight
to
share
our
share
our
presentation
and
being
able
to
celebrate
the
awards,
we're
going
to
hand
out
to
some
very
influential
and
special
people
in
our
community.
We
have
been
meeting
the
mayor's
committee.
E
I
I
should
have
looked
when
we
started
or
how
many
years
we
have
presented
these
Awards
and
it's
been
several
and
last
year
we
did
miss
the
awards,
but
otherwise,
every
year
we
as
a
committee
get
together
and
we
like
to
look
at
what
our
community
is
doing
for
people
with
disabilities
and
then
providing
and
presenting
a
an
award
for
those
persons
who
go
above
and
beyond
and
just
in
advocating
for
persons
with
disabilities.
E
So
I'm
just
going
to
kind
of
describe
each
of
our
Awards.
We
have
five
different
Awards,
so
our
first
award
is
for
outstanding
transition.
Services
award.
This
award
is
given
to
an
individual
or
organization
in
recognition
of
extraordinary
contributions
to
providing
and
developing
a
transition
program
to
assist
students
with
disabilities
as
they
transition
from
school
to
the
adult
system.
This
award
will
be
presented
to
Jennifer
Burns
Jennifer.
If
you'd
like
to
come
on
up.
E
Jennifer
was
nominated
and
selected
for
the
outstanding
transition
Services
award
because
of
her
extraordinary
service
to
assist
high
school
students
with
disabilities
in
transitioning
from
school
to
adulthood.
Her
contributions
exemplify
exactly
what
this
award
honors
Jennifer
has
been
a
special
education
teacher
in
the
Watertown
School
District
since
20
000
2013.
three
years
ago,
Jennifer
expanded
options
for
students
with
disabilities
with
the
development
of
an
employability
class
in
the
Watertown
High
School.
This
class
teaches
students
with
disability
skills
related
to
job
training,
independent
living
and
social
skills.
E
Students
provide
feedback
to
share
as
to
why
Jennifer
Burns
should
receive
this
award.
They
shared
that
Mrs
Burns
goes
out
of
their
way
out
of
her
way
to
help
students
with
things
they
need,
such
as
food
or
clothing
for
job
interviews.
Mrs
Burns
goes
above
and
beyond
with
the
students
at
the
Watertown
High,
School
and
brightens.
So
many
of
the
students
days,
Mrs
Burns,
is
very
supportive
and
assists
students
with
catching
up
on
any
missed
work.
E
Students
Express
feeling
Mrs
Burns,
is
the
most
caring
and
supportive
teacher
in
their
life
and
assists
them
with
skills
needed
to
have
a
successful
life
in
the
future
in
their
future.
Jennifer
Burns
has
coordinated
efforts,
her
efforts
with
Community
programs
aimed
at
assisting
students
with
disabilities
in
obtaining
employment.
She
is
always
searching
for
new
experiences
and
opportunities
to
improve
the
employability
class.
Thank
you,
Jennifer,
for
all
you
do
in
providing
transition
services
for
students
and
adults
with
disabilities
in
the
Watertown
community.

Representing
Applebee's
is
Heather
gruing,
Abby,
labinski
and
Jacob
Determan,
oh
Amy,
I'm,
sorry,
Amy,
lubinski
and
Jacob
Determan
Applebee's
was
nominated
and
selected
for
outstanding
employer
of
the
Year
award
because
they
are
willing
to
work
and
provide
employment
opportunities
for
people
with
individual
or
for
individuals
with
disabilities.
They
have
employed
numerous
employees
with
varying
disabilities
over
the
past
few
years.
Applebee's
is
very
supportive
in
accommodating
of
their
employees.
They
are
willing
to
look
at
the
needs
of
each
of
their
employees
and
promote
an
environment
to
create
successful
employment.
E
Applebee's
does
a
wonderful
job
at
communicating
with
their
employees,
support
networks.
If
and
when
concerns
arise,
regarding
employment,
along
with
providing
ways
to
alleviate
issues
so
that
employees
can
continue
to
work
towards
maintaining
stable
employment.
Applebee's
provides
important
feedback
to
their
employees
to
ensure
success
in
employment
longetivity.
E
The
community
is
fortunate
to
have
Applebee's
for
an
outstanding
employer.
We
are
very
grateful
for
the
staff
and
supervisors
they
provide
to
all
of
their
employees.
For
these
reasons,
we
congratulate
Applebee's
at
receiving
the
2022
mayor's
committee
for
people
with
disabilities
Award
of
outstanding
employer
of
the
Year.
Thank
you
for
all.
You
do
to
provide
the
opportunity
for
successful
employment
for
all
your
employees.
E
All
right,
our
next
award
goes
to
the
outstanding
citizen
with
a
disability.
This
award
is
given
to
an
individual
with
a
disability
in
recognition
of
outstanding
achievements,
in
overcoming
a
disability
for
the
promotion
of
independent
living
and
employment
opportunities
for
other
individuals
with
disabilities.
E
Cody
was
born
in
Melbourne,
South
Dakota
and
graduated
from
Milbank
High
School
in
2020
2012..
He
went
to
college
at
smsu
in
Marshall
Minnesota,
going
into
it
going
into
environmental
science
and
later
changing
degrees
to
sociology
and
ultimately
having
to
drop
out
due
to
medical
issues.
He
then
moved
to
Watertown
a
couple
years
ago
so
that
he
could
be
nearer
to
his
family
and
friends,
whom
in
large
part,
are
his
support
system.
E
I
had
the
great
privilege
of
visiting
with
Cody's
dear
friend,
Karen
Davis,
who
shared
how
remarkable
of
a
young
man
Cody
truly
is
Cody
was
born
with
a
disability
that
crippled
his
life
in
ways
of
Mobility.
He
required
use
of
crutches
until
his
body
no
longer
allowed
him
to
walk
and
was
made
for
him
to
live
his
life
with
his
wheelchair.
This
did
not
stop
Cody
from
doing
and
achieving
things
he
wanted
out
of
life.
Cody
grew
up
surpassing
multiple
series
of
serious
surgeries
body
casts
and
countless
visit
to
to
the
Shriners
Hospital
Minnesota.
E
Besides
these
trials
and
tribulations
Cody
continued
to
do
the
best
he
could
with
being
involved
in
his
community.
He
never
gave
up.
He
had
no
problems
getting
down
to
the
floor
to
do
what
he
could
with
his
ability,
and
he
accomplished
many
things.
He
is
aware
of
his
limits
and
does
what
he
can
to
physically
and
mentally
care
for
himself
Cody
volunteered
and
served
for
his
church,
the
Lord's
crew,
by
participating
with
children's
activities
pastoral
service
and
helped
with
jobs
needed
to
be
done
to
help
joyranch
open
their
doors.
E
He
was
employed
with
game
fish
and
Parks
mowing
mowing
jobs
and
worked
for
a
friend's
shop
while
in
high
school
he
helped
friends
clean
up
and
rebuild
after
tornado
disasters.
He
loves
spending
time
with
family
and
friends,
hunting,
camping
fishing
target,
shooting,
four-wheeling
boating
and
just
enjoying
life.
Nothing
stopped
Cody.
He
adores
his
niece
and
nephew
and
loves
Taco
John's
1919
root
beer
and
his
cat
Harley
Cody
Stacy
has
had
many
challenges
and
barriers
in
life
to
overcome.
E
E
when
he,
when
he
had
to
have
brain
surgery
for
cerebral
slump.
Before
this
happened,
he
could
drive,
walk
with
forearm
crutches
and
played
wheelchair
basketball
after
the
surgery.
He
was
no
longer
able
to
do
any
of
this.
Even
with
this
life
drawback,
he
feels
he
is
able
to
live
independently
and
maintain
a
fast
fantastic
quality
of
life.
He
recently
had
a
tattoo
drawn
on
his
arm
to
depict
his
life.
E
He
just
to
describe
this
powerful
art
is
a
strong,
determined
man
using
a
wheelchair,
pulling
chains
behind
him
in
which
some
he
has
broken
away
from,
and
some
are
still
tethered
down
by
others.
Cody's
resilience
to
overcoming
his
disability
empowers
anyone
who
knows
and
meets
him.
Cody's
life
motto
is:
do
not
waste
your
time.
Feeling.
Sorry
for
me,
I
have
a
lot
of
living
to
do.
Cody
wants
to
live
his
best
life
and
be
purposeful
to
others.
E
He
currently
is
living
in
his
own
apartment,
seeking
out
employment
goals
and
as
a
self-advocate
for
the
Watertown
mayor's
committee
for
disabilities.
So,
with
this
great
honor
I
present
the
2022
Watertown
mayor's
committee
for
people
with
disabilities.
Award
of
outstanding
citizen,
with
a
disability
to
Cody
C
Hoffer.
E
And
then,
before
we
finish
up,
we
have
a
couple
more
Awards,
but
every
award
recipient
will
also
be
nominated
for
the
Governor's
award
next
summer.
So
we
as
the
mayor's
committee,
we
always
forward
our
nominations
for
these
wonderful
people
too,
for
the
Governor's
awards
that
take
part
in
the
summer.
E
E
D
A
few
words
I
can
get
by
with
just
a
few
I'll
tell
you
a
little
bit
about
Dan
I
call
him
the
other
day
about
this
and
I
said
Mr
Albertson
good
I
hadn't
called
him
that
in
a
lot
of
years,
but
I
remember
those
years,
but
that's
a
long
time
ago,
but
I
was
never
so
impressed
by.
So
many
people
that
reached
out
to
me
and
told
me
stories
about
Dan
with
people
with
disabilities.
D
First
off
Dan
was
in
the
school
system
for
40
years.
How
many
years
did
you
teach
administrator
for
the
whole
time
40
years
in
administration?
Then
he
couldn't
get
enough
that
he
had
to
go
over
the
Aero
Education
Foundation
for
another
dent
I
always
try
to
make
the
youth
the
Youth
of
the
city
of
Watertown
a
little
bit
better.
Some
of
the
things
Dan
did
on
the
eight
years.
D
He
was
on
the
council
plan
commission
from
13
to
17
Housing
Authority
in
2014
Rec
Center
board
in
14
urban
renewal
board,
7
or
14
through
17.
D
mayor's
committee,
with
people
with
disabilities,
from
15
to
21,
I
hope
to
match
on
that
buddy
and
the
library
board
from
2018
through
21
couple
stories
that
that
people
reached
out
to
me
right
away,
and
there
was
people
that
called
me
and
said
you
know
my
kid
was
in
school
and
Dan
was
at
middle
school
and
and
he
had
disabilities
and
there
was
people
picking
on
them.
Dan
was
the
first
one
to
get
in
line
to
make
sure
that
that
got
corrected.
D
One
person
came
out
and
told
me
just
a
really
amazing
story
that
they
actually
called
Dan
and
and
Sandy
Mr
and
Mrs
Special
Olympics,
because
whenever
Special
Olympics
came
on
and
they
needed
some
help,
Dan
and
Sandy
were
the
people
they
reached
out
to
and
and
they
they
always
just
charged.
The
drive
I
mean
they
they
were,
they
were
Mr
and
Mrs
Special
Olympics,
so
I
just
wanted
to
share
a
few
of
those
stories.
I
could
have
wrote
on
and
on
and
on
forever,
but
I
think
enough
of
us
know
Dan.
E
I
have
a
few
more
words
that
were
shared
with
us
from
Maria
and
I
from
the
special
services
school
district
and
then
also
from
Drew
from
the
Aero
Foundation
and
Drew
writes.
Have
you
ever
tried
to
get
Dan
elberson
quickly
in
and
out
of
the
store,
the
post
office,
a
restaurant
church
service,
ball
game,
it's
impossible.
He
knows
everybody
and
he
doesn't
just
know
everyone.
He
remembers
everyone's
parents,
grandparents,
siblings
and
kids.
How
does
he
do
it?
He
does
it
genuinely
by
caring.
He
truly
wants
to
listen
and
engage
what
matters
to
you.
E
He
valued
students
and
made
genuine
connections,
dance,
respect
and
enthusiasm
for
young
people
made
him
a
wonderful
educator,
Middle
School
administrator
in
the
heart
of
the
Aero
Education
Foundation
in
1970
Dan
Albertson
became
the
assistant
principal
of
the
Watertown
Junior
High.
Then
he
moved
up
to
principal
position
in
1984.
in
1996
he
continued
as
the
Watertown
Junior
High
transitioned
to
become
the
Watertown
Middle
School,
Dan
retired,
as
principal
of
the
Watertown
Middle
School
in
2010
2010,
and
moved
into
his
role
as
the
Director
of
Aero
Education
Foundation.
E
Since
its
Inception
Dan
Albertson
has
been
an
integral
part
of
millions
of
dollars

more
fortunate

for
over

they
have.

not

another
special
award
that
goes
to
the
outstanding
employee
with
the
disability
award.
This
award
is
given
to
an
employee
with
a
disability
in
recognition
of
outstanding
achievement

comp
and
competitive
employment
by
overcoming
a

as
well
as

This
award
will
be
presented
to
Tiffany
Conrad.
E
Tiffany
Conrad
was
nominated
and
selected
for
the
outstanding
employee
with
a
disability
award
because
she
has
worked
at
Applebee's
as
a
Hostess
since
August
of
2021.
Tiffany
is
a
smiley
Pleasant
and
friendly
person
Tiffany
being
a
Hostess
has
become
a
really
good
fit
for
her.
When
it
comes
to
employment,
Tiffany
learned
the
job
quickly
even
taught
herself
how
to
improve
the
job
on
her
own.
She
handles
stressful
situations,
well
keeps
a
good
mood
and
does
not
overly
stress
about
work
situations.
Tiffany
has
also
started
training.
E
New
staff
in
the
hostess
position,
Applebee's
staff
and
supervisors
share
that
Tiffany
comes
to
work
with
a
great
attitude
and
gets
the
job
done.
Tiffany's
job
has
increased
her
self-esteem
and
improved
her
problem-solving
abilities.
Tiffany
has
overcome
significant
challenges
with
her
mental
health
and
continues
to
utilize
services
to
assist
with
living
independently
on
our
own
in
the
community
and
continues
with
being
successful.
I
am
happy
and
honored
to
announce

A
You
all
right,
thank
you
very
much.
If
you
wanted,
you
sure,
can
stay
for
the
rest
of
the
city
council.
Meeting
I
wouldn't
necessarily
suggest
it.
So
I
will
give
you
a
couple
minutes.
If
you
wanted
to
leave,
you
sure
can
and
thank
you
all
for
coming.
It's
a
wonderful
night.
Thank
you.
Our
congratulations
to
all
the
winners.
D
D
I
just
like
to
make
one
more
comment
and
I
know
most
you
weren't
at
our
our
mayor
state
of
the
city
address,
but
we
talked
there
a
lot
about
the
quality
of
the
people
in
Watertown
and
how
important
it
is
to
work
together
as
a
team,
not
only
from
city
government
down
to
the
residents
that-
and
this
just
goes
to
show
you
tonight
what
collaboration
with
a
lot
of
different
organizations
and
people's
involvement
can
do
for
the
whole
community.
And
thank
you
very
much.
