A
B
We
also
cooperate
with
the
animal
control
officer
in
the
watertown
police
department,
in
which
we
share
some
of
their
duties.
When
chris
is
not
available,
we're,
like
I
said,
we're
integral
part
in
the
city
as
providing
you
know:
health
and
welfare
for
the
animals
in
the
in
the
city.
B
Well,
we're
open
we're
open
every
day,
but
on
saturdays
we're,
just
open
till
noon
and
then
on
sundays,
we're
not
open,
but
they
have
to
be
there
seven
days
a
week
to
take
care
of
all
the
animals.
A
So
is
the
shelter
open
eight
to
five
and
then
yes,.
B
A
B
B
That's
how
we
measure
our
success
and
we
do
a
pretty
stringent
looking
over
the
people
that
are
going
to
adopt
the
animals
to
make
sure
that
they're
they're
well
taken
care
of.
B
B
Most
of
our
dogs
are
always
adapted
and-
and
we
are
running
like
a
senior
program
in
which
seniors
could
take
an
older
dog,
because
obviously
the
dog
is
less
active
and
so
is
a
senior.
B
B
The
humane
society,
but
the
the
city
of
watertown,
owns
the
land.
That's
by
utilities,
it's
by
the
water
plant
not
too
far
from
there,
and
I
think,
we're
on
a.
I
think
the
lease
is
a
100
years
with
the
city
or
something
I
guess.
I
don't
recall.
A
So,
do
you
have
a
a
plan
to
move
elsewhere
like
within
x
number
of
years
or.
B
B
Sometimes
with
the
cats?
Yes,
because
we
get
so
many
cats
in.
B
We
feel
we
have
adequate
space
for
the
dogs,
it's
kind
of
a
hodgepodge.
We
got
one
building
and
then
we
got
another
building.
That's
like
a
garage
it'd
be
great
to
streamline
it,
use
better
materials
building
materials,
so
there
will
be
less
maintenance
added
to
the
added
to
the
humane
society.
Personnel.
B
Yes,
okay
and
that's
another-
I
think
we've
kind
of
taken
care
of
it,
but
there
was
there
was
quite
an
energy
efficiency
that
we
were
lacking
there
because
of
insulation
in
the
building
and
just
because
of
inadequate
heating
and
we've
tried
to
to
reduce
some
of
those
things.
We
redid
the
kennels
last
year
in
the
humane
society,
which
needed
better
material
for
caging
and
better
material
for
the
block
work.
B
Know
like
using
say,
burnished
block,
opposed
to
split
face
block,
I
mean
I'm
sorry,
just
cinder
block
the
caging
could
be
redone
more
caging,
you
know
maybe
using
a
different
product
getting
a
better
ventilation
system.
I
think,
would
improve
improve
the
quality
of
air
in
there
too,
and,
of
course,
a
quarantine
space.
B
Yeah,
the
site
has
been
adequate.
It's
off
the
beaten
track
a
little
bit.
We
have
improved
some
of
the
signage,
but
even
better
signage,
I
think,
would
work
out.
