Keynote: End User Awards - Chris Aniszczyk, CTO/COO, Cloud Native Computing Foundation
A
I
was
a
pretty
good
job
on
pronouncing
my
last
name
Janet,
but
she
cheated
and
asked
me
before
she
went
up
in
the
net,
so
I
am
extremely
humbled
to
be
on
stage
and
just
it's
been
crazy
to
see
how
much
the
CNC
F
and
cloud
Native
community
has
grown
over
the
last
three
years,
dan
mentioned
in
his
keynote
yesterday.
You
know
in
particular
detailing
that
growth
in
terms
of
projects
members,
you
know,
China
is
our
third
largest
contributor
to
CN
CF
projects
and
so
on,
and
it's
just
been
amazing
to
be
in
China.
A
You
know
summer
to
Dan
six
six
times
in
the
last
12
months.
It's
been
an
adventure,
learning
WeChat
didi,
ho
all
the
wonderful
kind
of
new
tools
you
have
to
learn
when
embracing
a
new
culture.
So
enough
about
that,
you
know,
as
a
community
I
think
it's
very
important
that
we
take
the
time
and
recognize
individuals
and
organizations
that
have
put
a
lot
of
effort
in
advancing
cloud
native
in
the
industry
and
so
in
CN
CF,
the
last
couple
of
conferences.
A
We
have
spearheaded
this
concept
of
end
user
awards
and
awards
in
general,
that
target
individuals,
maintainer
z'
organizations
and
so
on.
So
today
I'm
happy
to
announce
that
for
the
first
time
we
are
doing
an
end
user
award
focused
on
the
China
market
and
in
this
particular
case
it's
been
interesting
because
when
I
think
was
probably
a
few
trips
ago
in
China,
I
was
in
Beijing
and
I
had
a
meeting
set
up.
A
You
know
with
this
particular
organization,
and
you
know
they're
really
stoked
about
you-
know
explaining
their
story
of
how
they,
you
know,
moved
off
the
virtual
machines.
You
know
moved
to
kubernetes
on
bare
metal.
You
know
they
were
super
stoked
that
the
Vitesse
was
coming
in
as
a
project,
and
you
know
it's
just
kind
of
amazing
to
see
how
much
progress
they
made
in
moving
to
urban
eddie's
and
other
CN
CF
projects-
and
you
know
they
were
very
you
know,
public
about
that
through
blog
posts
and
and
other
means.
