From YouTube: CNCF Marketing Committee Meeting - August 2022
Description
No description was provided for this meeting.
If this is YOUR meeting, an easy way to fix this is to add a description to your video, wherever mtngs.io found it (probably YouTube).
A
A
Yeah
there
we
go
all
right.
Thank
you,
everyone,
okay,
so
again,
welcome
to
the
marketing
committee
call
happy
to
see
all
of
you
joining
us
today,
you're
already
here,
so
you
have
all
this
information
against
marketing
committee
calls
so
hopefully
you're
in
the
right
place
and
and
it'll
be
good
to
connect
with
you
all
just
a
reminder
that
this
call
is
being
recorded.
A
So
if
you
do
not
want
to
be
recorded,
please
stay
off
camera
and
on
mute
you
can
leverage
the
chat
to
interact
with
us
and
then
just
a
reminder
that
we
do
put
all
of
the
slides
after
the
meeting
in
our
marketing
committee
slides
folder,
and
we
also
record
this
meeting
and
upload
it
to
youtube.
We
do
ask
that
you
keep
this
in
between
members
only
though
it's
a
nice
member
perk,
but
we
don't
want
to
get
out
further
beyond
that.
A
Our
next
call
is
set
for
september
7th
and
that's
coming
up
here
in
the
next
month.
So
just
mark
your
calendar
for
that
and
then
just
a
friendly
reminder
about
our
lf
antitrust
policy.
We
want
to
keep
the
lawyers
out
of
this
meeting.
So
don't
do
anything
that
violates
the
antitrust
and
if
you
have
questions
about
that,
there's
a
link
in
here
that
explains
more
information.
A
All
right,
we've
got
a
pretty
packed
agenda
today
for
august,
so
we'll
get
started
here.
First
up.
I
just
wanted
to
remind
folks
about
argo
con,
that's
coming
up
here
in
september,
if
you're
curious
about
the
argo
project
where
that's
at
this
is
a
great
opportunity
to
connect
with
the
the
programming
committee
there,
as
well
as
all
of
the
great
community
work.
That's
going
into
argo.
A
They
are
offering
you
know
registration
in
person
in
mountain
view,
or
you
can
attend
the
event
for
free
virtually,
which
is
a
great
option,
especially
for
folks
who
may
not
be
able
to
travel,
and
then
we
just
pulled
some
sessions
that
you
don't
want
to
miss
for
this.
This
event,
there's
a
lot
of
great
content,
that's
happening
here
and
just
want
to
make
sure
that
everyone
is
aware.
A
There
are
also
some
day,
zero
workshops
that
you
can
add
to
your
registration
and,
if
you're
curious
about
those
there's
information
here
in
the
slide,
but
hopefully
to
see
some
folks
there
for
argo.
Con
in
mountain
view,
also
a
friendly
reminder
to
take
the
cloud
native
survey.
If
you
haven't
taken
that
already.
This
is
in
partnership
with
lf
research
this
year.
A
This
is
our
annual
cloud
native
survey
surveys
the
community
about
their
use
of
kubernetes,
as
well
as
all
the
other
projects
in
the
cloud
native
ecosystem
at
large
this
year
we
offered
the
survey
in
english,
chinese
and
japanese,
so
I
would
love
your
help,
sharing
this
with
your
your
company.
Anyone
in
your
community
that
you
want
to
share
this
with.
A
We
did
extend
the
deadline
to
august
4th,
so
you've
got
one
more
day
to
get
your
survey
in
and
as
a
thank
you
to
you
for
participating,
you
do
get
a
25
off
coupon
to
use
on
any
linux
foundation
training.
So
it's
a
really
awesome
opportunity
and
that
ends
on
august.
4Th
also
wanted
to
let
everyone
know
that
we
have
a
marketing
committee
survey
specific
for
the
marketing
committee
members
happening
that
opens
today.
A
This
survey
is
going
to
ask
you
about
the
marketing
opportunities
that
you
may
or
may
not
have
taken
advantage
of
as
well
as
poll
you
and
ask
you
questions
about
participation
in
kubecon.
It's
a
really
short
survey.
We've
really
tried
to
keep
it
brief
this
time,
and
then
we
will
survey
again
at
the
end
of
the
year.
This
is
really
just
to
have
kind
of
a
benchmark
so
that
we
can
compare
results
at
the
end
of
the
year.
A
I
will
also
be
going
over
the
results
for
this
in
our
next
marketing
committee
meeting
so
be
sure
to
take
this
and
then
also
as
a
thank
you
to
you
for
taking
the
survey.
It
is
anonymous,
but
if
you
would
like
to
be
entered
in
a
raffle
to
get
a
bonus,
live
stream
online
program
or
a
gift
card
to
the
cncf
swag
store,
we
would
love
for
you
to
enter
that.
A
There's
an
opportunity
to
add
your
information
at
the
end
of
the
survey
when
you
take
it
peek
over
at
the
chat,
real,
quick,
oh
perfect,
thanks
jim
you
got
it
awesome.
Also.
We
have
a
lot
of
cncf
co-located
events
happening
at
kubecon,
north
america.
I
think
we're
up
to
15
this
year,
which
is
fantastic.
There
are
cfp
opportunities
as
well
as
sponsorship
opportunities
in
here
they
close
off
on
august
12th.
So
if
you
are
interested
in
sponsoring
any
of
these
events
or
getting
involved,
I
highly
recommend
checking
out
this
list.
A
There's
also
information
in
the
events
section
of
the
deck
that
will
go
over
all
these
events
in
more
detail.
If
you're
interested
and
yeah,
we
have
some
exciting
updates
on
the
kcd
program.
Katie.
Are
you
on
I'll
pass
it
over
to
you.
D
Yeah
hi
everyone,
so
we
have
some
exciting
new
features
coming
out
on
bevy
that
we
recently
released
a
global
language
selection.
This
is
for
all
event
pages
and
they'll,
soon
be
tying
that
into
emails
and
newsletters,
so
very
exciting
release
for
them,
and
then
an
upcoming
release
feature
is
that
chapter
analytics
will
be
ready
by
mid-august.
D
This
means
that
everything
I
can
pull
from
an
admin
size.
Now
a
chapter
can
pull
on
their
own,
which
is
really
great
for
anyone
who's
hosting
a
kcd.
They
can
get
insights
into
their
chapter,
their
membership
and
chapter
growth.
They
can
see
how
all
their
attendees
are.
You
know
the
activity
within
the
chapter
and
then
discover
ways
to
engage
with
chapters
members,
so
this
is
huge.
I
won't
have
to
pull
the
data
you'll
be
able
to
pull
that
on
your
own.
A
Awesome
katie,
that's
great,
and
I
know
you're
going
to
be
giving
us
more
of
an
update
on
kcds
later
down
in
the
dac
boat.
Just
wanted
to
highlight
these
exciting
features
for
folks
at
the
beginning
of
the
call
awesome
well
we'll
move
on
to
the
next
slide.
B
Hello,
hello,
everybody.
So
this
is
the
monthly
reminder
that
I
I
do
run
office
hours
and
they
are
slightly
later
next
week,
so
they're
starting
on
nine
a.m.
Pacific
time
so,
please
feel
free
to
to
drop
in
and
and
and
have
a
chat
with
me
in
the
latest.
Just
to
give
you
some
examples
and
inspiration
for
the
next
sessions.
I've
been
talking
a
lot
with
members
of
this
committee
about
actually
the
the
kubernetes
community
based
programs.
B
We
were
brainstorming
ideas
and
I
know
that
now
that,
with
these
exciting
updates,
we
have
much
more
to
look
forward
to
so
we
can
think
about
ways
to
make
the
most
of
this
initiative
together,
so
feel
free
to
jump
on
a
call
and
have
a
chat
about
this
or
any
of
other
initiatives
like
the
online
programs
or
kubecon
in
north
america.
Whatever
you
would
like
to
discuss,
I'm
always
happy
to
chat.
A
Awesome-
and
this
is
a
great
opportunity,
especially
if
you're
new,
to
just
connect
with
carla
she's,
got
a
lot
of
great
experience,
also
really
well
known
in
the
community.
If
you
have
like
she
said,
questions
about
online
programs
or
any
of
the
opportunities
that
we're
going
to
chat
through
today.
Of
course,
cncf
staff
is
always
here
to
help
you
as
well,
but
sometimes
it
helps
to
have
kind
of
someone
in
the
member
role
helping
you
talk
through
that.
A
All
right
now
we're
gonna
go
ahead
and
jump
into
membership,
so
welcome
to
our
new
silver
members.
Great
to
see
you
all.
We've
also
got
some
new
non-profit
members.
If
you
are
new
to
this
call
we're
so
happy
you're
here,
you
can
find
a
slide
at
the
end
of
the
deck
as
well
all
dedicated
to
member
resources.
A
So
if
you
have
any
questions
around
any
of
the
things
that
we're
going
to
talk
through
today,
happy
to
give
you
more
info
on
that
also
wanted
to
just
update
you
all
on
our
member
acquisition
slide.
I
don't
think
well,
we
haven't
seen
a
lot
of
activity
this
summer,
but
no
worries
if
there
is
something
that
we've
missed
on
here,
feel
free
to.
E
Hi
everyone.
We
had
a
couple
great
announcements
actually,
this
month,
the
first
one
being
silly,
which
announced
version
1.12,
which
got
a
bunch
of
really
great
coverage
here,
yeah
all
these
actually
really
pretty
good
articles
worth
reading,
and
then
we
had
two
two
new
projects
moved
to
the
incubator
captain
in
kyberno.
So
that's
also
very
exciting,
we're
just
there's
so
many
so
many
projects-
incubator.
Now
it's
pretty
great,
so
yeah.
E
So
we
got
some
some
good
interest
on
that
and
I
don't
know
if
carl
is
on
carl
or
trisha:
hey
carl,
fabulous,
yeah
I'll.
Let
you.
F
Cool
thanks,
jesse
I'll
dive
into
some
ar
stuff
for
everyone,
and
for
those
of
you
who
don't
know
me,
I'm
carl
wright.
I
work
with
trisha
cooper
on
the
analyst
relations
program.
It's
that
time
of
year,
again
gartner's
doing
their
hype
cycles.
Those
are
publishing
when
we
pulled
this
data,
there's
about
53
of
them.
We're
expecting
about
100
100
in
total,
usually
they're
roughly
around
there,
but,
as
you
can
see,
aspects
of
cncf
ecosystem
are
being
mentioned,
a
large
portion
of
them
and
we're
seeing
the
trends
are
matching.
F
What
we
pulled
out
in
the
analyst
report
last
month,
if
you
weren't
able
to
read
that
some
of
those
are
there
with
the
analyst
report,
showing
a
lot
of
focus
on
observability
and
cloud
native
security,
and
we're
also
seeing
that
here
as
well
with
open
telemetry,
getting
mentioned
in
7.5
percent
of
total
hype
cycles,
which
for
context
it's
usually
a
pretty
big
deal.
F
If
you
get
mentioned
in
a
single
one,
so
the
fact
that
companies
are
getting
mentioned
and
or
projects
are
getting
mentioned
and
a
lot
of
them
is
just
fantastic.
F
If
you
want
to
switch
the
next
slide.
For
me,
cool
thanks:
if
your
guys
company
are
or
your
your
company
is
doing,
some
work
in
the
infrastructure,
automation,
space
and
you've
not
received
an
invite
for
the
to
participate
in
the
upcoming
forester
vendor
landscape.
F
I
would
strongly
encourage
you
to
reach
out
to
jack
mcphee
or
faith
born
and
see.
If
you
can
get
included
in
that
research,
they
did
a
blog
post
about
it,
where
they're
asking
for
people
to
reach
out
their
emails
are
in
these
slides,
so
just
check
with
your
analyst
relations
department
and
then
shoot
them
an
email
if
you,
if
you're
in
that
space
and
haven't
gotten
an
email.
F
Yet
I
also
wanted
to
highlight
some
other
great
research
coming
out
of
forrester,
including
a
webinar
that
highlights
how
clayton
cloud
native
solutions
are
being
used
in
the
world
of
commerce
and
that's
just
a
great,
a
great
place
to
see
some
other
use
cases,
and
so
on
so
forth
in
a
space
and
then
one
more
slide
on
analyst
relations
cool.
Thank
you
so
much.
Finally,
I
wanted
to
highlight
some
research
coming
out
of
redmonk
kate
holterhoff
has
been
doing
like
a
whole.
F
The
whole
research
agenda
is
on
round
marketing
to
the
dev
ops
community
and
her
research
is
actually
open
to
the
public.
So,
if
you're
looking
to
do
some
light
reading
on
the
weekends
about
your
peers
and
what
they've
been
up
to
some
of
their
techniques,
they're
using
with
marketing
towards
the
devops
community,
definitely
would
encourage
you
to
take
a
look
and
then,
last
but
not
least,
idc
has
been
on
a
roll
they've,
been
publishing
a
ton
of
market
forecasts
and
just
some
broader,
more
economic
reports.
F
So
if
that
interests
you,
you
can
definitely
hop
in
and
look
at
those,
but
you
do
need
a
subscription
again
for
all
stuff.
That's
behind
those
research,
paywalls
cool,
that's
it
for
analyst
relations!
I
will
see
you
guys
next
month.
E
Cool-
and
this
is
just
what
we
share
monthly,
just
a
quick
overview
of
some
of
the
key
trends
that
we're
seeing
in
cncf's
coverage.
So
we
really
actually
very
often
the
same
storage
is
up
there
a
little
bit
this
month,
but
all
the
other
ones
pretty
much
the
same.
And
then
this
is
just
an
overview
of
there's,
actually
two
different
slides
on
the
incubating
projects.
E
Just
to
give
a
quick
yeah,
a
little
overview
of
I
mean
graduated
sorry
graduated
and
then
two
incubating
projects
to
give
you
an
overview
of
kind
of
where
we
don't
which
which
projects
are
getting
coverage.
Obviously
psyllium
from
the
announcement
this
last
month,
so
yeah
just
something
to
look
into.
A
Awesome,
I'm
gonna
just
move
my
cat
off
the
desk
here
for
just
a
second
any
questions
for
the
pr
ar
team.
Before
we
move
on
to
content
marketing
really
great
resources
in
there,
I'm
excited
to
read
the
analyst
session
on
marketing
just
really
curious.
What
what
the
findings
are
there
all
right,
well
I'll,
go
ahead
and
take
care
of
content
marketing
here,
all
right,
so
libby
is
out
on
vacation
today,
but
just
an
overview
of
our
online
programs.
A
For
july
we
had
four
live
streams:
three
on-demand
webinars
and
one
live
webinar
and
still
views
are
continuing
to
go
up
great
to
see
that
if
you
haven't
leveraged
your
online
programs
for
the
quarter,
there
still
are
some
slots
available
here
in
august
and
september,
highly
recommend
checking
out
the
calendly
link
and,
as
always,
if
you
have
any
questions
or
maybe
just
want
to
see
what
else.
A
What
other
folks
are
submitting
and
you're
welcome
to
reach
out
to
the
online
programs
alias
or
you
can
check
out
our
youtube
channel,
which
has
all
of
the
content
as
well,
and
then
some
information
on
cube
weekly,
our
weekly
kubernetes
and
cloud
native
newsletter.
A
Continuing
to
kind
of
hobble
along
here,
usually
the
summer
months,
are
a
little
quieter
for
this
newsletter,
but
again
a
really
great
opportunity
to
submit
your
own
content
here
as
long
as
it
fits
into
the
vendor
neutral
space,
we'd
love,
to
give
it
a
shout
out,
and
with
that
I
will
pass
it
over
to
charlie.
You
want
to
talk
about
humans
of
cloud
native,
charlie,
yeah,.
G
Hey
folks,
so,
as
you
might
have
heard,
we've
got
the
kim's
of
cloud
native
program
up
and
running,
and
I
have
been
speaking
to
the
most
amazing
individuals
in
the
ecosystem.
They
have
just
done
the
most
fantastic
contributions
and
I'm
basically
calling
to
all
of
you.
If
you
know
of
anyone
in
team
cloud
native
who,
you
think
would
be
a
fantastic

people
to
start
contributing
or
elevate
their
career.
Please
do
let
me
know:
we've
got
a
dedicated
email
address.
A
Awesome,
charlie,
I'm
just
answering
a
question
in
the
chat
bill.
Thanks
for
your
question
about
q
weekly,
we
have
seen
you
know.
As
the
summer
months
have
gone
on,
we
have
seen
a
little
bit
of
a
decrease
there.
We
can
do
a
little
bit
more
digging,
though,
and
we'll
get
back
to
you
on
some
deeper
analytics
there,
all
right
and
I'll
go
to
the
next
one,
all
right,
charlie.
You
want
to
talk
about
and
use
it
again.
G
We
had
some
really
cracking
case
studies
this
month
from
next
year
and
at
bay,
and
just
a
reminder
that
these
were
actually
case
studies
submitted
by
vendor
members
who
wrote
about
what
their
end
users
were
doing
with
cloud
native
projects.
So
if
you
are
a
vendor
member,
you
still
can
participate
in
this
program.
You
just
need
to
make
sure
that
it's
about
one
of
your
end
users
so
do
take
advantage
of
the
service.
It's
a
really
easy
process
and
you
can
check
it
out
on
github,
bear
in
mind
as
well.
G
And,
of
course,
the
the
blogs
fantastic
readership
numbers
again
this
month
and
just
a
reminder
as
well
that
you
can
click
on
this
link
on
the
right
hand,
side
at
any
time,
and
you
can
have
a
look
at
the
blog
traffic
for
yourself
and
this
link
also
works
for
the
case
studies.
So
if
you
have
any
internal
reporting,
you
want
to
do
or
you're
just
keen
to
see
what's
happening
on
the
blog
go
and
check
out
those
analytics.
A
Awesome
thanks
charlie
any
questions
for
charlie
on
any
of
these
programs
before
we
move
on
to
the
next
next
section.
A
All
right
with
that,
we
are
at
events,
katie
I'll
pass
it
back
to
you.
You
want
to
talk
through
the
kubernetes
community
day
slide.
D
Yeah,
of
course,
so
kubernetes
community
days
we
have
some
upcoming
events.
We
have
quesadilla
taiwan,
casey,
malaysia,
kcv,
sri
lanka
and
queen
city.
Pakistan
has
postponed
their
event
to
september
some
upcoming
cfps.
So
if
you're
in
the
area
for
any
of
these
upcoming
kcds-
that's
you
know:
sri
lanka,
munich,
uk,
italy,
spain,
indonesia,
nordic
or
netherlands.
We
encourage
you
to
apply
and
be
part
of
their
community
day
and
then
we're
hosting
a
monthly
organizer
working
group.
This
upcoming
one
is
august
16th
at
7.
00
am
pacific,
4
p.m.
Central
european
standard
time.
A
D
Yeah,
these
are
upcoming
third-party
events
we'll
be
at
we'll
be
at
oss
elc
eu.
D
D
A
A
Okay,
awesome,
that's
what
I
thought
I
just
want
to
make
sure
awesome.
So,
as
you
all
know,
we
have
detroit
coming
up.
Keep
crown
north
america
here
in
october
a
reminder
that
the
standard
registration
deadline
is
august
10th,
so
you'll
get
some
savings
when
you
register
before
that
deadline.
I'm
sorry
cat
again,
of
course,
and
then
we
go
oh
gosh
hold
on.
Let
me
go
back
a
few
slides
here.
There
we
go.
A
We
also
are
going
to
be
announcing
the
schedule
today
that
will
come
out
at
9
00
a.m,
pacific
so
be
on
the
lookout
for
that
and
sponsorship.
Sales
have
closed
for
the
event.
I
want
to
give
a
shout
out
to
our
sponsors,
especially
our
diamond
sponsors,
aws,
cisco,
intel
casting
by
veeam
prismacloud
by
palo
alto
networks
and
vmware.
But
again,
thank
you
to
all
of
our
sponsors.
We
really
couldn't
put
on
this
event
without
you.
We
really
appreciate
you
and
there's
also
a
slide
in
here
about
project
benefits
and
engagements
katie.
D
Yeah,
of
course,
as
you
know,
we
really
like
to
highlight
our
projects
at
kubecons
and
we
really
encourage
projects
to
be
involved
to
talk
to
attendees,
to
get
you
know
additional
contributors
and
really
build
your
communities
around
that
project.
So
there's
a
few
different
ways
that
projects
or
even
tags
and
sigs
can
engage
with
the
community.
D
An
in-person
kiosk
is
always
a
great
way
to
talk
a
little
bit
more
about
your
project
and
cool
things
that
you're
doing
your
roadmap
answer
questions
an
in-person
project
meeting
is
for
the
maintainers
of
the
project.
So
if
you
would
like
to
get
all
your
maintainers
together
and
sit
down
and
hash
out
a
few
things,
this
is
a
great
way
we
have
a
meeting
room
set
aside
for
you.
We
encourage
you
to
take
advantage
of
it
and
then,
of
course,
pr
support.
D
A
A
Okay,
I'll
go
ahead
and
move
on
to
the
next
slide,
all
right.
So
as
promised,
we've
got
our
co-located
event
slides
here.
As
I
mentioned,
there's
information
on
the
date.
How
to
add
this
to
your
registration
as
well
as
cfp
dates
and
things
like
that,
deadlines
for
registration
or
sorry,
pricing
for
registration,
changing
and
all
that,
so
we've
got
backstage
con
coming
out.
A
That's
a
new
one,
exciting
cloud
native
security,
con
very
popular
cloud
native
wasm
day
k
native
con
kubernetes
batch
and
hpc
day
cloud
native
ebpf
day
envoy,
con
cloud
native
telco
day,
open
observability
day,
get
ops
con
kubernetes
ai
day,
kubernetes
on
edge
day
prometheus
day
service
service
mesh
con
that
one
always
trips
me
up,
and
then
we've
also
got
sig
stor
con,
which
is
really
exciting
as
well
again,
you
can
find
all
of
the
information
in
here.
A
I
won't
bore
you
by
reading
all
of
the
details,
but
hopefully
you'll
add
a
co-located
event
to
your
registration
and
dive
into
these
different
projects
and
things
happening
in
the
ecosystem
awesome
and
then
just
to
go
through
a
few
slides
here
in
our
appendix,
as
I
mentioned
at
the
top
of
the
call
we
do
have
you
know
our
slides
folder,
where
our
youtube
recording
it
does
take
us
about
24
hours
to
get
the
youtube
recording
up,
but
that's
where
you
can
find
those
there's
also
some
event
calendars
and
cfp
calendars
in
here
that
you're
welcome
to
add
things
to,
and
then
here's
the
member
resources
slide.
A
So
as
mentioned,
if
you
are
new,
this
is
a
great
opportunity
to
check
out
our
member
welcome
deck,
how
to
get
involved
with
the
different
tocs
and
updates
there.
I'm
just
a
really
great
place
for
any
resources
that
you
may
have
and
then
just
a
shout
out.
If
you
are
curious
about
how
to
put
some
of
these
programs
into
practice
bill.
A
Formerly
here
at
cncf
and
now
at
I
surveillance
and
charlie,
I
did
some
great
sessions
last
year
about
that
you're
welcome
to
watch
those
at
your
own
leisure
and
then
just
in
the
back
here
there
are
some.
Oh
sorry
did
somebody
say
something
yeah.
H
Christy,
this
is
jim,
I
guess
maybe
kind,
of
a
crazy
question,
but
I
counted
15
co-located
events
and
I
think
you
added
more
and
you
talked
earlier
about
it
was
a
backstage
rate.
What
was
it
I
never
even
heard
of
is.
Is
there
some
limit
to
number
of
co-located
events
like?
Is
there
a
point
of
diminishing
returns,
or
is
it
no
we'll
just
keep
adding
one,
because
people
want
to
have
some
and
vendors
and
companies
want
to
host
their
own
yeah?
D
D
I
I
just
want
to
make
sure
I
understand
your
question
jim.
Are
you
asking
if
there's
a
limit
on
how
many
we
add
to
our
schedule,
or
is
it
there's
a
limit
to
how
many
you
add
to
your.
H
D
H
H
H
I
mean
it
seems
to
me
you
could
almost
do
that
right
and
just
curious
if
you've
ever
had
that
conversation
or
no
we're
just
monday,
tuesday,
events
we'll
just
keep
stacking
them
up
as
folks
want
to
host
them
and
we'll
see
what
happens.
D
Well,
there
is
a
limit
on
how
many
we
can
do.
Of
course,
it's
all
space
limited
time.
D
D
Of
course,
we
do
encourage
all
of
our
projects
and
all
of
our
community
members
to
come
forward
to
host
an
event
we
do
want
to
be
able
to
educate
the
larger
community
about.
You
know
different
things
that
are
happening
and
co-located
events
do
a
really
great
job
of
that,
because
they
can
get
more
specific
to
a
certain.
H
D
I
understand
what
you're
saying
there's
a
lot
going
on
those
first
two
days
that
you'd
love
to
see.
You
know
attend
three
or
four
different
ones
of
them.
We
do
record
all
of
the
co-located
events
that
our
cncf
hosted
and
I
want
to
clarify
that
students.
D
They
have
posted
co-located
events
and
those
are
all
posted
on
our
cncf
youtube
channel
within
24
hours
of
the
events
concluding
so
if
you
were
wanting
to
learn
more
about
backstage
con,
but
you
were
going
to
say
wasm
day
and
they're
happening
on
the
same
day,
you
can
check
out
all
their
recordings
on.
D
About
backstage
kron,
of
course,
we
encourage
you
to
take
advantage
of
going
to
the
stephens
live
and
finding
a
way
to
make
your
schedule
work
where
you
can
go
to
both.
I
know
that
seems
really
hard,
but
there's
a
lot
of
great
benefit
to
being
there
in
person,
of
course,
you're
getting
to
talk
to
the
community
and
networking
and
getting
your
questions
answered
live
so
that's
kind
of
where
the
benefit
comes
from
from
getting.
D
I'm
sure
for
the
future.
Yes,
I'm
sure
that
there
will
be
a
look
at
depending
on
how
many
requests
we
get
across
the
community
to
host
a
singular
day,
whether
it's
argo
con
or
backstage
fun
of
having
like
a
week
of
just
you
know
the
project,
specific
events
at
this
time.
That's
not
kind
of
the
focus.
E
Just
say
just
a
quick
comment:
this
is
henrik
so
being
part
of
the
argo
con
committee
last
year
and
this
year,
so
so
we
were
never
part
of
the
the
day
zero
event.
So
we
we
right
off
the
bat
decided
from
the
private
side.
Do
you
want
to
do
a
standalone
event?
Just
because
the
reasons
you
mentioned
that
this
already
github's
con?
That's
already
kubecon
and
all
these
other
events.
So
so
we
figured
from
from
a
participation
standpoint
content
that
it
was
built
in
front
of
this
separate,
separate
event.
H
Thanks
our
perspective
hamrick,
the
other
thing,
so
I
think
there
also
are
vendor
sponsored
slash
paid
for
cncf
zero
day.
Co-Located
events
that
you
don't
have
listed
right,
usually
like
red
hat,
does
one
and
then
amazon
and
some
other
folks
right.
D
H
Do
you
have
a
list
of
those
or
can
you
show
that
next?
Well,
I
I'm
just
curious
to
see
right,
so
15
of
these
plus
x,
number
of
other
ones
equals
even
more.
Maybe
you
can
add
that
in
for
next
next
month's
meeting
and
the
last
thing-
maybe
a
suggestion,
so
I
know
you
know
each
one
of
these
colo
events
has
got
its
own
379
early
registration
fee
might
be.
H
And
I
think
you
have
to
register
for
a
specific
one
right.
So
if
I
wanted
to
go
to
attend
cloudnativecon
and
istiocon,
for
example,
I'd
have
to
go
pay
for
two
of
them.
It
might
be
really
interesting
if
you'd
say
look
just
go
register
for
collocated
events,
maybe
you
click,
which
ones
you
want
to
attend
and
for
your
single
fee
you
can
bounce
back
and
forth
between
different
ones
as
an
attendee.
H
That
would
really
give
me
a
much
richer
experience
to
pick
different
things,
especially
if
there
was
a
great
session
that
you
know
envoy
con
and
another
awesome
session
that
prometheus
day
or
something
versus
having
to
say
well,
I
I
can't
afford
to
sign
up
for
both.
So
can
I
sneak
into
the
room
so
something
for
the
committee
to
think
about.
I
guess.
D
Yeah,
we
can
absolutely
add
a
slide
about
the
sponsor,
hosted
events
that
will
be
taking
place
at
coupon.
I
think
a
few
of
them
were
finalizing
their
contracts.
That's
why
we
don't
have
it
in
these
slides
right
now,
but
absolutely
can
add
them
for
the
next
marketing
community
call
and
we'll
take
in
consideration
your
suggestion
and
talk
about
it
for
2023.
H
D
The
question
from
lori
about
you
know
what
our
expected
numbers
for
co-located
events
like
what's
the
expected
attendees
numbers
is
that
across
all
co-located
events
that
you're
asking
or
single
or
co-like
located
events
each
each
co-located
event,
depending
on
the
tier
that
they
have
gets
a
certain
size
room.
Typically,
we
see
about
a
third
of
our
expected
attendees
coming
to
co-located
events,
so
you
know
we're
expecting
8,
000
plus
attendees
in
person,
so
we're
expecting
that
we'll
see
a
third
attending
our
co-located
events.
D
Yeah
that
I
mean
the
average,
it
depends
on
how
the
interest,
within
the
certain
event,
so
I
would
say,
depending
on
the
on
the
project,
it
could
be
anywhere
from
100
to
150
up
to
300,
depending
on
the
room
size.
I
know
security.
Con
brings,
it
yields
quite
a
fitted
interest
and
they
always
have
large
numbers.
So
I
can't
give
you
an
average
across
all
of
them
because
it
just
kind
of
depends
on
you
know
what
the
interest
is
behind
the
community
schwannoma.
I
Brings
up
a
good
question
in
the
chat
that
I
I've
contemplated
is
having
sp
speakers
who
are
doing
co-located
events
on
day
zero
or
day,
one,
depending
on
how
you,
whether
it's
the
24th
or
25th
of
october,
but
they're,
not
interested
in
attending
all
of
kukan.
I
There
was
a
way
we
could
get
passes
just
for
those
days
for
those
speakers
who
are
aren't
able
or
planning
on
attending
kubecon.
That
would
be
very
helpful
for
co-located
events.
C
Hi
everyone
can
you
hear
me:
okay,
yep,
okay
yeah,
so
we
do
have
the
requirement
for
day
zero
speaker
if
you're
a
cncf
well
for
anybody.
Actually,
if
you're
participating
in
a
day,
zero
event
that
you're
required
to
purchase
the
ticket
for
kubecon.
If
it's
a
sponsor,
hosted
co-located
event
day.
C
There
is
a
path
included
for
the
sponsor
company
to
give
that
to
a
speaker
if,
if
they
need
it
or
they
can
purchase
additional
passes
with
the
discount
for
their
speakers
for
the
cncf
hosted
ones,
we
do
have
a
scholarship
program
and
we
encourage
people
to
apply
for
that
if
they,
if
they
need
assistance
there
for
the
kubecon
portion.
H
I
H
And
cannot
be
changed
by
the
zero
day.
Events
get
a
pass,
but
what
I'm
here
for
you
is
no
go
chase
down
the
sponsor
of
the
events
and
see
if
they'll
give
you
a
free
pass,
which
seems
like
you're
putting
the
onus
on
folks
who
already
s
you
know,
stepped
up
to
submit
a
talk
for
a
cola,
vet
and
our
speaker
at
it.
C
Yeah,
I
understand
that
and
we
we
do
work
with
speakers
on.
You
know
on
a
case-by-case
basis
as
well
and
again,
I'm
you
know
there
is
the
distinction
between
a
cncf
hosted
and
sponsor
hosted
events.
Some
sponsor
hosted
events,
you
know
they
don't
even
take
place
on
site
and
so
there's
you
know
that
difference
as
well.
C
Yeah,
okay,
let
us
I
hear
everybody's
you
know
concern
here.
So
let
us
regroup
and
and
we'll
come
back.
Let
us
regroup
with
person
priyanka
and
we
can
come
back
to
you
thanks.
A
Right
thanks
vanessa
and
katie
yeah,
we'll
definitely
regroup
and
get
back
to
folks
any
other
questions
before
we
wrap
the
call
here.
E
E
I
was
wondering
about
the
volunteering
option
for
the
dublin
booth.
How
do
we
sign
up
for
that?
I
would
be
very
interested
in
doing
it.
A
Yeah
so
you'll
be
getting
we'll
put
this
in
the
marketing
committee
channel,
as
well
as
we'll
send
an
email
to
the
marketing
committee,
alias
and
basically,
what
we'll
ask
it'll
come
from
katie
and
her
team
of
you
know
if
you
can
commit
to
working
the
booth
and
what
the
hours
will
be
a
calendly
link,
but
just
be
on
the
lookout
for
the
slack
and
the
email
alerts
and
then
katie
and
team
will
work
with
you
from
there.
Okay.
E
Thank
you,
yeah
christie's,
gary
quick
question,
for
you
did
I
hear
things
were
flying
across
my
desk
fast
and
furious
this
morning.
Did
I
hear
you
talking
about
detroit?
Did
I
hear
you're
currently
anticipating
8
000
on
site.
D
Okay,
thank
you
yeah,
that's
enough!
Okay,
that's
what
we
have
posted
everywhere,
that
we're
expecting
8
000
plus
attendees
in
person
and
13
000,
plus
attendees,
virtually.
