A
B
Chris,
are
you,
are
you
safe
and
not
in
Austin?
Today
you.
A
A
A
A
C
A
C
A
A
A
A
All
right
it's
about
five
minutes
past,
so
it
gets
started.
I
posted
the
deck
on
the
zoom
chat
and
selects
I'ma
flavor,
and
has
it
in
front
of
you?
Alexis
can't
join
us
today,
so
I'll
be
doing
my
best
impression
of
him
as
toc-toc
chair
liking.
The
amazing
British
accent
that
he
has
before
I
kind
of
get
started
is
Brian
grant,
Camille
or
Solomon
here
in
the
list?
Yes,.
A
The
agenda
is
gonna,
be
fairly
brief
today,
so
we'll
go
over
a
brief
little
update
on
where
we
are
with
the
TSC
election.
We're
gonna
be
welcoming
some
new
projects,
a
little
discussion
on
the
status
of
the
sandbox
and
then
we'll
kind
of
just
go
over
the
community
backlog
and
open
it
up
for
questions
since
we'll
have
quite
a
bit
of
time
today.
So
on
slide
6,
we
have
you
know
kind
of
an
update
where
we
over
the
election.
So
some
of
you
are
aware
we
have
two
toc
elected
seats
coming
up
for
election.
A
A
So
this
is
essentially
the
time
where
we're
gonna
be
getting
there
and
within
two
days,
sorry
in
China,
so
my
mind's,
a
little
timezone
turned
off,
but
in
two
days
we're
gonna
enter
this
nominee
qualification
period
where
the
TOC
and
the
governing
board
essentially
qualify
the
list
of
ten
nominees
to
ensure
that
they
meet
their
standards
for
toc
candidates.
After
that
happens,
we'll
have
a
formal
vote
by
the
seven
toc
members
to
select
the
two
more
folks
that
they
want.
D
D
A
Brian
you're
you
there,
we
justice
law,
sir
Brian,
sorry.
E
A
A
A
It's
just
a
high-performance
messaging
system
using
Cloud
Foundry
and
by
a
bunch
of
other
companies
out
there
and
go,
of
course,
so
we're
very
happy
to
have
Nets
part
of
CN
CF
they're,
going
through
the
transition
of
moving
to
the
Apache
2
license,
which
I
saw
them
doing
over
the
weekend,
which
is
great,
I,
don't
know
if
Derek
or
I
think
ginger
is
on
the
call.
If
anyone
from
the
Nats
team
wants
to
say
anything,
Nell's
now's
a
good
time,
if
not
no
worries
next
time,
hi.
F
A
Awesome
thanks
going
very
cool,
all
right
slide
8,
so
we
currently
have
a
vote
going
on
for
liquor,
D
to
move
from
sandbox
us
and
Shep's
inception
to
the
incubation
level.
You
know
we
have
a
set
of.
You
know:
criteria
for
what
it
means
to
move.
The
incubation
which
I've
tried
to
outline
here
in
terms
of
what
liquor
D
meats.
It's
also
discussed
in
the
project
proposal
via
the
github
pull
requests
linked
here.
A
So
my
reminder
to
the
TOC
and
wider
community,
please
get
in
your
votes
as
it
would
be
great
to
come
to
a
conclusion
on
this
there's.
Anyone
on
the
TOC
have
any
particular
comments
on
this
I
know.
Brian
you've
had
some
discussions
on
the
mailing
list
on
this,
so
you
know
trying
to
maybe
keep
its
objective
or
subjective,
but
I
don't
know
if
you've
any
comments
to
say
right
now,.
D
D
A
A
There
you
go
thanks:
Brian
cool
yeah.
If
anyone
have
any
questions,
please
comment
on
the
mailing
list
or
pull
our
pull
request
the
kind
of
votes,
but
it's
live
so
slide
9.
So
we
have
another
new
project
coming
in,
so
spiffy
is
coming
in
through
the
sandbox.
Essentially
it's
in
the
security
space
providing
a
security
enemy
for
services.
A
D
He
the
new
model,
requires
at
least
two
TOC
sponsors,
but
not
an
official
vote
for
people
who
weren't
following
along
so
spiffy
and
OPA
were
started
before
the
transition.
In
fact,
though,
on
spiffy
he
had
started
before
the
transition,
but
now
they're
moved
over
to
the
new
process
and
are
going
to
move
forward.
A
All
right,
cool,
moving
on
slide,
10,
open
policy,
agent
or
OPA
for
short,
is
also
coming
in
the
sandbox
will
be
announced
on
March
29th
COC
sponsors
are
Brian
grant
and
Ken
Owens,
but
OPI
essentially
is
a
general
policy
engine
that
is
being
used
in
all
sorts
of
different,
interesting
places.
There's
I
know
the
communities
community
is
looking
at
amongst
the
Cloud,
Foundry
community
and
so
on.
So
since
is
another
one
of
your
projects,
Brian
feel
free
to
speak
to
it,
and
I
also
believe
Turin
is
on
the
call
from
the
OPI
team.
D
So
a
lot
of
systems
like
kubernetes
and
others
have
sort
of
specialized
policies
for
expressing
certain
things
like
authorization
or
validation,
rules
for
different
different
types
of
concepts
and
resources
in
those
systems,
and
all
these
things
are
kind
of
ad
hoc
and
inconsistent
and
also
not
fully
general.
So
OPA
is
interesting
and
that
it
provides
a
general
more
general
model
Vic.
It
is
pretty
expressive
and
we're
seeing
it
being
used
in
more
places.
D
Know
if
we'll
adopt
it
with
built-in
support
in
the
near
future,
were
currently
focused
on
extension
mechanisms
for
things
like
authorization,
policy
and
admission
policy,
and
we
have
seen
it
plugged
in
to
those
places
so
give
it.
Given
the
current
focus
on
admission
in
May,
our
extension
general
extension
mechanisms
that
may
be
a
while
before
we
see
it,
built
in.
C
I
This
is
Quintin
here.
I
just
want
to
add
a
brief
comment.
I've
worked
with
the
Opie
got
FPA
guys
for
several
years
on
the
postal
federation
project
and
kubernetes,
where
policy
determines
things
like
which
clusters
run,
which
kinds
of
jobs
etc
and
had
lots
of
success
with
the
OPA
model
would
strongly
support
it
as
a
sensible
way
forward.
A
You
all
righty
cool,
Thank,
You
Turin
and
look
forward
to
us
announcing
this
formally
next
week.
So
thank
you
great
all
right,
moving
on
slide,
11,
so
yeah.
So,
as
Brian
discussed,
you
know
we
formally
approved
the
sandbox.
There's
been
some
discussion
around.
You
know
people's
few
points
of
us,
you
know
necessarily
lowering
the
bar
versus
the
naming.
So
at
the
last
toc
meeting,
I
kicked
off
a
poll
amongst
the
TOC
and
the
official
TOC
contributors
to
see
what
their
viewpoints
on
the
name
was,
and
we
ended
up
with
a
funny
enough.
A
A
kind
of
you
know
inconclusive
answer
where
people
tied
the
name
sandbox
versus
workshop,
so
I
was
a
little
bit
of
interesting
as
a
kind
of
side
effect
but
I'm
after
speaking
with
Alexis.
He
wants
to
suchlike
table.
D
A
A
A
You
know:
we've
had
a
few
projects
that
have
submitted
kind
of
get
up,
issues
to
present
to
the
TOC
I've
highlighted
one
of
them
that
I
think
is
of
interest
to
the
community
and
we'll
eventually
schedule
them
for
presentation.
It's
project
called
telepresence
from
a
company
called
data
wire
I
recommend
everyone
on
the
call
and
within
kind
of
the
wider
TFC
community,
of
a
comment
on
that
issue.
If
they
have
any
concerns
or
not,
but
I
look
forward
to
bringing
them
on
2%
to
the
kind
of
wider
community.
A
All
right
I
mean
you
know
outside
of
that.
You
know.
There's
no
formal
kind
of
working
group
updates
outside
there's.
Some
amazing
work
going
on
in
the
cross
cloud.
Ci
such
CNC
fci
working
group
ken,
is
also
kicking
off
a
revamp
of
the
essentially
what
is
known
as
our
reference
architecture,
so
I
linked
the
TOC
godiva
issue,
90
feel
free
to
ping
on
that
issue.
A
If
you
want
to
work
with
kenan
the
group
of
folks
that
are
working
to
update
that
slide,
18
yeah,
we
have
you,
know,
events
coming
up
so
I
hope
to
see
many
of
you
in
Copenhagen.
In
early
May,
we
have
a
first
cube
con
cloud
native
Kannan
in
China
and
Shanghai
in
November
and
our
big
North
American
event
in
December.
So
please
reach
out.
If
you
have
any
questions
on
sponsorships
or
anything
else
around
that
event
slide
19.
A
Our
next
meeting
is
going
to
be
April
3rd.
We're
going
to
be
hearing
from
the
ciencia
CNC
fci
working
group
and
kind
of
an
update
on
the
cross
cloud.
Ci
work,
they've
done
some
really
cool
things
of
you
know
getting
our
projects
building
on
all
the
different
cloud
providers.
You
know
from
bare
metal
to
even
kind
of
more
interesting
environment,
so
they'll
be
giving
us
update
then,
and
we'll
also
I'm,
going
to
do
a
formal
update
on
kind
of
the
working
group
process.
A
I've
had
a
couple
folks
reach
out
to
me
on
wanting
to
start
working
groups
in
CNC
F,
and
you
know
I
kind
of
want
them
to
follow
the
process
we
set
in
place
for
new
project
proposals
and
so
on.
So
have
people
submit
APR,
have
it
reviewed
and
have
them
presented
at
EOC
before
we
formally
accept
the
working
group,
so
I'll
get
that
done
for
the
next
TSE
meeting.
Other
than
that,
we
have,
you
know
we're
ending
early,
so
we
have
lots
of
time
for
any
questions
and
answers.
A
G
A
Sure
one
is
around:
let's
call
it
security
policy
management
and
so
on.
So
a
nickname
of
the
working
group
is
called
safe.
There's
another
one
around
chaos,
engineering
that
people
want
to
kind
of
bring
to
scene
CF,
which
involves
kind
of
standardizing
on
an
API
and
potential
approaches
for
chaos,
engineering
within
the
kubernetes
/
cloud
native
ecosystem.
So
those
are
the
two
ones
kind
of
on
deck
right
now.
So.
G
A
A
Okay,
going
once
going
twice
well,
I
think
every
thinks
everyone
for
their
time.
Hopefully,
alexis
is
back
next
time
and
kind
of
steers
things,
but
it's
great
to
have
everyone
and
I
look
forward
to
welcoming
our
new
project.
So
it's
great
to
have
Nats,
OPA
and
spiffy
part
of
part
of
C&C
F,
so
see
everyone
in
a
couple
weeks
and
enjoy
your
30
minutes.
