From YouTube: July 5, 2021 Ortelius Outreach
Description
New friends from cdCon, podcast and the summer schedule are topics of this July 5, 2021 Ortelius Outreach meeting.
A
A
B
A
Well,
anyways
hi
jack
nice
for
you
to
join.
Thank
you.
As
I
was
going
to
say,
this
is
a
holiday
in
the
u.s,
so
it's
probably
going
to
be
a
small
group
today.
I
just
have
a
few
notes
to
go
over
and
then
any
intros
that
we
might
want
to
do
for
any
any
folks.
New
siddharth
usually
will
take
this
not
sure.
A
If
he's
going
to
be
able
to
join
he's,
got
some
personal
matters
that
he's
taking
care
of
with
his
family,
so
we
hope
that
he
can
join
but
anyways
we
are
for
this
group.
We
are
focused
on
one
very
important
thing
over
the
course
of
the
summer,
and
that
is
getting
our
podcast
up
and
running.
A
I
am,
I
waited
for
this
group
to
say:
give
a
thumbs
up
to
the
podcast
form.
I
will
share
it
one
more
time.
Let
me
bring
it
up.
A
A
Pretty
basic
here's
the
one
that
sasha
completed,
which
I
think
is
kind
of
strange
because
it
but
anyways.
I
need
to
look
at
this,
but
here
is
the
one
sasha
completed.
A
It
has
a
section
for
picking
out
what
a
topic
you
would
like
to
chat
about
and
there's
several
topics
in
here
and
then
siddharth
did
add
the
legal
kind
of
chat,
and
so
I
think
it's
ready
to
completely
get
launched,
and
the
goal
here
is
to
get
just
this
one
started
and
over
the
course
of
the
next
couple
of
weeks,
so
that
we
can
get
the
podcast
kicked
off.
A
And
then
what
we'll
do
is
we'll
reach
out
to
everybody,
who's
part
of
this
team
and
the
general
team
and
the
architecture
team
to
do
podcasts
internally,
and
then
we
will
push
for
some
external
ones
in
the
fall.
So
we're
just
working
on
getting
our
podcast
stuff
sorted
out.
And
if
this
group
says
thumbs
up
on
this
form,
then
I
will
go
ahead
and
start
pushing
it
out
social
networking
it
to
our
through
the
our
email
list.
A
C
Hi
good
day,
everyone,
so
a
few
quick
things.
I
think
one
of
the
pointers
tracy
has
already
covered
regarding
the
podcast.
So
what
we
now
want
is
we
got
the
inputs.
We
have
set
out
the
structure
of
our
podcast.
We
have
also
created
this
form
for
it
now.
The
next
thing
is
a
few
things
and,
of
course
we
need
your
support
on
this
as
a
community.
The
one
thing
is:
if
you're
interested
in
speaking
in
these
podcasts,
please
register
on
this
form.
C
C
So
if
you
are
interested
reach
out
to
me,
third
thing
is,
which
we
have
called
out
earlier
also
is:
is
we
are
creating
this
training
and
certification
program
programs
and
the
most
of
the
basic
content
has
already
been
shared
already
being
created
by
tracy.
It
was
shared
in
our
previous
invites
and
I'll
share
that
to
you.
If
you
need
it
now,
what
we
need
is
two
things.
One
thing
is:
is
there
a
lot
of
api
concepts
for
which
we
are?
C
We
need
the
content
creator
and
what
we're
doing
in
turn
for
those
content
creators
we
will
make
them
a
certified
trainer
for
these
spotless
programs.
One
thing
second
thing
for
these
training
certification
programs
is,
is
the
content
which
is
already
created.
Please
go
review
it
and
at
the
end
of
each
module.
What
we're
looking
forward
is
maybe
a
sample
questions,
maybe
a
bunch
of
let's
say
5-10
questions,
and
probably
you
know
we
build
up
some
sample
papers,
as
so
for
the
existing
content.
C
We
need
the
sample
questionnaire
to
be
created
and
for
the
new
content,
which
is
the
api,
we
need
a
fresh
content
that
can
be
created.
However,
what
possibly
you
can
do
is
you
can
refer
the
existing
api
dock,
which
is
there
on
the
auto
list
website
and
thanks
to
few
people,
including
banner,
who
have
significantly
started
contributing
into
that.
C
B
C
B
Yeah,
actually,
I'm
not
I'm
a
bit
a
newbie
in
programming
aspect,
so
I
learned
so
many
things
in
doing.
C
C
What
you
can
do
is,
you
can
refer
to
you
know,
let's
say
randomly
I'll
pick
up
user
user
api,
so
we
have
some
content
for
the
user
api
on
this
description
thing
which
is
available
on
the
auto
list
website.
Why
don't
you
probably
go
through
this
link
and
check
across
whether
is
this
content,
something
where
you
can
probably
build
up
on
your
existing
knowledge
or
you
may
be
a
fresh
piece
of
thing
which
you
have
not
worked
on,
but
the
point
is,
as
a
community
members,
we
don't
see.
C
The
objective
is
on
meeting
up
on
these
regular
community
courses.
How
can
we
help
you
in
enriching
your
skill
set,
which
is
existing
at
the
moment?
Point
one
point
two
is:
how
can
we
upskill
yourself
in
in
the
knowledge
of
populist
and
the
open
source
community
of
microservices
and
point
through,
is
how
can
we
give
more
recognitions
to
you
more?
C
How
should
I
put
it?
Okay,
more
presents
of
you
on
these
open
source
terminators.
So
you
don't
just
limit
to
come
down
to
these
calls
and
intended.
But
the
more
important
thing
is:
how
can
you
give?
How
can
you
contribute-
and
that
is
what
the
objective
of
any
community
across
the
globe?
C
So
the
other
thing
quick
thing
is
on
the
orderless
linkedin
page.
We
have
started
getting
more
tractions,
more
visitors
and
more
followers,
I
think,
solely
because
of
tracy's
effort
on
bringing
people
now.
The
point
is,
if
you
have
any
content
which
is
worth
sharing
it
with
the
open
source
community,
why
don't
you
track
or
why?
Don't
you
tag
our
pages?
While
you
are
drafting
it,
you
know,
for
example,
you
know
if
you
come
across
any
good
on
anything
on
microservices
tag,
the
outlets
open
source
communities.
C
We
will
ensure
that
you
know
we
help
you
in
getting
more
visitors
to
it
and
last,
but
probably
not
the
least,
is
there's
a
lot
of
opportunities
to
contribute
on
this
orderless
open
source
company.
There
is
a
lot
of
opportunities.
If
you
think
any
of
the
opportunities
you
can
contribute
to.
You
know
reach
out
to
me
anytime,
reach
out
to
me
anytime.
There
have
been
a
lot
of
people
who
have
reached
out
to
me
many
times.
C
One
thing,
however,
if
you
think
you're
still
not
clear
with
how
can
you
contribute
again
in
that
case
also
reach
out
to
me,
this
is
my
calendar
link
and
third
thing
is
and
the
foremost
important
thing
is
actually
see.
How
can
you
you
know
the
purpose
of
you
joining
this
community?
What
was
it
and
do
you
think
that
purpose
has
been
met?
If
you
think
that
purpose
has
not
been
met,
reach
out
to
me
tracy
or
steve
anytime,
and
we
are
readily
available
to
have
conversations
with
you.
C
But
our
important
point
is:
don't
let
you
know
these
efforts
that
you're
making
to
this
country
community
goes
unnoticed.
That's
all
what
I
want
to
call
out
for
today.
If
you
have
any
questions,
unmute
yourself
and
reach
out
to
me.
C
C
A
A
For
some
reason,
steve's
audio
is
not
working
he's
asking
for
the.
If
you
can
put
the
link
to
the
trello
board
in
the
chat.
D
And
just
on
in
general,
if
on,
like
the
api
documentation
or
the
the
trainings,
if
you're
not
sure
where
to
start
or
if
you
are
just
have
some
general
questions,
please
just
reach
out
on
the
discord
channel,
just
post
it
in
the
general
channel
there,
and
somebody
will
help
you
out
on
that
front.
We're
pretty
our
community
is
pretty
good
about
communicating
and
people
jumping
in
to
get
questions
answered
on
the
discord
channel.
A
Yes,
which
is
why
siddharth's
question
is,
let
us
know
what
we're
not
if
there's
something
that
you're
looking
for
out
of
the
group
and
we're
not
providing
it,
then
we
need
to
know
so
we
can
start
building
on
that.
So
please
be
you
know
this
is
we
try
to
be
as
open
and
as
honest
as
possible,
regardless
of
who
it
might
offend,
but
that's
just
how
we're
going
to
be
able
to
grow
quickly
and
and
no
one
is
no.
A
D
Then
I
think
the
last
thing
looks
like
tracy
is
just
around
the
governance
board.
I
know
you
have
been
doing
some
work
with
karima.
A
Yes,
we
do,
as
I
reported
last
week,
we
are
working
on
putting
together
a
proper
governance
board
in
the
dock.
There
is
the
shared
dock
that
steve
stuck
in
there.
There
is
a
a
link
to
the
the
dock
that
we're
working
on
and
we're
trying
to
get
this
done
and
agreed
to
by
september
1st.
So
we
could
actually
do
elections
and
anybody
is,
everybody
can
nominate
themselves,
we'll
have
a
nomination
process
and
then
we'll
do
elections
for
the
governor's
board,
and
you
don't
have
to
have
been
here
forever.
A
A
So
the
other
question
I
have
siddharth
for
you
is:
we
are
now
headed
into
the
heavy.
You
know
vacation
time
my
suggestion
is
for
the
month
of
august.
A
We
maybe
only
do
one
of
these
meetings
and
one
general
meeting
and
then
just
keep
the
architecture
meetings
on
thursdays,
because
I
know
they're
trying
to
get
a
delivery
out
just
to
give
everybody
a
bit
of
a
break
because
we've
been
doing
these
every
two
weeks
and
I'm
thinking
just
do
them
the
first
of
august
and
then
those
of
us
who
are
working
on
the
governance
can
do
it.
A
You
know
just
through
sharing
the
doc
okay,
so
you
think
we
should
do
the
first
of
the
the
first
of
the
month
and
then
skip
the
second
one.
That's
what
I'm
thinking?
A
E
A
Yeah,
I
think
we've
got
a
lot
of
other
people
they're
taking
august
off.
So
in
the
us
at
least
school
starts
around
the
middle
of
the
of
the
month.
So
maybe
we
take
the
first
of
the
of
we'll
take
we'll
take
the
first
of
august
off
and
we'll
have
the
next
meeting
at
the
middle
of
august.
I
think
that'll
be
a
better
way
to
go.
A
A
Yeah,
so
we'll
do
the
19th,
so
we
do
all
of
july
and
then
august
would
be.
We
would
skip
the
2nd
of
august,
we
would
skip
and
then
the
next
meeting
would
be
the
16th
of
august
got
it
so
we'll
just
skip
one
meeting
and
we'll
do
the
same
thing
for
the
the
community
meeting
and
I'll
send
I'll
send
a
note
out
to
say
we're
in
august
we're
going
to
only
do
one
community
meeting
and
one
outreach
meeting.
What
was
the
startup
date
again?
The
16th.
A
A
A
Okay,
I
got
it
in
the
notes,
so
that's
all
and
then
the
general
community
meetings
would
be
the
normally.
It
would
be
that
we
had
it
the
29th.
I
will
have
it
on
the
13th
and
this
is
and
then
we
have
one
again
on
the
27th.
A
A
So
let's,
let's
have
only
one
we'll
do
august.
24Th
will
be
our
our
general
community
meeting,
steve,
okay
and
we
will
the
last
one
will
be
for
july
will
be
august.
The
27th
july
27th.
C
A
A
And
if
it's
quiet
and
you're
not
doing
anything,
you
always
can
write
blogs.
You
can
still
be
involved
in
the
podcast,
because
the
teams
still
be
working
on
that
and
the
and
you
know,
siddharth
may
put
a
meeting
out
there
just
for
working
on
the
podcast
or
I
might
stick
something
out
there
to
do
just
governance,
but
I
feel,
like
everybody
should
have
a.
We
should
try
to
create
some
kind
of
a
break
in
august.
A
A
F
Hey
there
we
go.
I
had
sorry
I
was
slightly
late.
I
had
a
little
audio
trouble
joining
the
meeting.
My
name
is
jack
kane,
I'm
brand
new,
I'm
actually
not
a
developer,
I'm
an
end
user.
F
I
know
when
I
was
in
I.t,
I
kind
of
like
to
have
days
off
and-
and
you
know
sometimes
deployments
were
set
up
in
a
way
that
were
very
disruptive
to
the
it
teams
and
even
more
disruptive
to
the
end
users,
and
I
think
that
this
particular
project
interests
me
from
that
regard,
and
so
I'm
gonna
lurk
and
lurk
around
and
look
and
see
for
a
while
and
get
my
feet
wet.
F
But
thank
you
for
letting
me
join.
A
Oh
we're
it's
a
pleasure
to
have
you
and
siddharth
just
so
you
know
I
I
we
we
chatted
with
jack
a
little
bit
and
he
in
his
past
life
has
done
a
lot
of
work
around
demos
and,
as
he
defined
his
health
as
an
end
user,
I'm
probably
going
to
bug
him
to
potentially
help
us
with
putting
together
a
stronger
demo
with
better
data,
and
I
don't
know
if
that
kind
of
role
fits
in
ambassadors
or
it
fits
into
our
our
champions
so
jack,
I'm
going
to
share
with
you.
A
F
A
F
Yeah,
it's
not
a
dry
heat
yeah
like
some
other
places
and
yeah
pretty
much
every
plant
in
my
apartment,
except
for
like
the
snake
plants
and
spider
plants
died,
everything
outside
was
burnt
to
a
crisp
and
yeah.
It
was
so.
A
F
We're
kind
of
hoping
that
that
that
does
not
become
a
pattern
here.
F
Yeah
we're
we're
still
above
five,
five
or
ten
degrees
above
normal,
but
you
know,
that's
that's
doable.
You
know
we
always
get
periods
like
that,
but
but
yeah
it
was,
I
think,
the
highest
it
got
at
our
apartment
here
was
116.
F
and
that
was
nine
degrees
higher
than
the
previous
record
all-time
record.
So
we
broke
our
all-time
record
by
nine
degrees.
D
That's
insane,
I
know
we're
I'm
in
santa
fe
and
we're
kind
of
the
sit
in
the
same
boat.
We're
we're
at
seven
thousand
feet.
So
we
don't
have
air
conditioners
either.
So
when
it
gets
anything
over
90
you
get
a
little.
It
gets
a
little
warm
inside.
A
So
here
is
the
recognition
program.
I'll
put
this
link
in
the
chat.
It
outlines
that
there's
basically
two
primary
groups
that
you
can
participate
in.
A
You
can
participate
in
champions
which
are
all
of
our
coders
and
you
can
participate
in
ambassador
programs,
which
are
things
like
the
podcast
or
any
kind
of
online
event
that
we
do
doing
webinars
being
a
speaker
at
other
like
at
cd,
the
cd
foundations
or
kubecon,
and
then
we
have
what
we
call
legends
and
those
are
people
who
are
doing
activities
in
both
and
we
keep
a
spreadsheet
that
tracks
where
you're
at
and
then
twice
a
year.
We
do
the
awards.
A
We
do
an
awards
program
in
may
and
then
we'll
do
another
one
in
december.
So
come
september,
we'll
start
talking
about
doing
our
end
of
the
year
party,
which
we'll
do
probably
some
technical
presentations
and
then
we'll
do
an
we'll
make
sure
everybody
has
their
recognition,
badges,
so
we're,
and
what
this
allows
you
to
do
is
to
decide
what
track
you're
kind
of
gonna
pursue
and
as
you
pursue
those
tracks,
you
can
help
us
explain
where
we're
missing
in
terms
of
how
to
get
you
onboarded
quickly.
A
You
know
what
don't
you
know,
what
are
we
not
telling
you
and
how
to
get
involved?
So
take
a
look
at
that
and
I'll
just
quickly.
Stop
sharing
my
screen
and
I'll
stick
this
in
the
chat.
So
if
you
want
to
learn
more
about
the
recognition
program,
you
can
learn
about
it
there
and
the
champions
are
based
on
pull
requests
and
attendance
and
contributions
to
like
end
user,
adding
tickets
doing
pr.
I
think
that
this
is
where
we
should
put
the
demos
at
least
building
out
a
demo,
one
that
everybody
can.
A
Then
the
ambassadors
then
can
present
the
demos
so
siddharth.
If
you
think
about
it,
let
us
let
me
know
where
you
think
it
the
some.
You
know
anybody
working
on
a
demo,
they're
kind
of
crossing
between
technical
and
ambassador,
but
I
feel
like
it
should
be
in
the
champion
area.
A
A
All
right,
thank
you,
everybody
and
hope
everybody
is
safe
and
from
the
u.s
side
we
wish
you
a
happy
holiday
for
fourth
of
july
thanks
everybody.
