C
Okay,
so
we've
got
the
youtube
chat
here
on
the
right
side
and
we'll
try
to
keep
an
eye
on
that
if
anyone's
watching
with
that
we'll
get
started,
who's
doing
notes
today,
john
ben,
is
that
both
of
you
yeah.
B
C
Yeah
good
good
to
have
two
people
in
all
right,
so
if
you
guys
handle
the
top
section
you
might,
you
might
need.
C
Action
items:
okay:
I
am
woefully
behind
on
my
action
items.
So
forgive
me
it's
just
been
busy.
I
have
not
yet
gone
in
and
finished
up
the
rest
of
these
badge
updates.
I
want
to
clarify
that
some
of
the
evidence
requirements
in
bold-
that's
not
been
done
yet,
but
I
do
know
how
to
do
it,
and
I
know
that
that
will
work.
I
did
the
test
next.
One,
let's
see,
did
you
send
me
that
description
ben
for
the
old?
Did
you
find
that
description
for
the
chapter
badge?
I
did.
C
D
C
D
So
the
I'll
add
in
the
link
now
in
the
chat
in
the
forum,
the
form
has
a
wiki,
and
it's
now
a
page
in
the
wiki
excellent,
and
it's
called
video
archive
of
enable
meetings.
It's
nice,
it's
nice
to
have
all
that
stuff
together.
D
What
I
didn't
put
in
there-
which
I
could
is
some
of
the
other
groups
like
the
bionic
group
and
the
design
group
that
you
have
so
it
could
be
something
in
the
future
that
we
put
all
that
stuff
in
the
list
together
or
we
sort
of
have
some
of
these
specific
topics
and
then
some
and
then
these
would
be
more
kind
of
the
general
community
meetings.
C
So
are
there
any
options
when
you
embed
these?
These
are
playlists
you're.
Embedding,
because
the
only
visual
indication
that
I
can
see
that's
a
playlist
is
this
little
thing
in
the
upper
right
hand
corner
there
isn't
an
option
to
have
it
where
it
like
shows
you
how
it
is
in
youtube
where
it
shows
all
the
like
the
other
videos
and
like
a
stack
on
the
right
side.
We
can't
show
them
like
that
right.
D
C
C
C
Right
it
does
yeah.
I
was
just
wondering
if
there
was
a
different
view:
option
that
keeps
that
on
the
right
side,
so
that
you
don't
have
to
pop
it
out,
but
well.
E
D
D
C
We
can
play
with
yeah,
but
I
think
it's
nice,
as
is
now
that
I
understand
how
it
works,
but
thanks
for
doing
that,
ben
yep,
let's
see
jeremy,
I
need
to
add
some
language
to
bob's
proposal.
So
bob
did
write
up
a
proposal,
a
very
nice
one,
I
might
add,
for
approaching
animal
prosthetics,
we'll
talk
about
that
a
little
bit
more,
but
the
only
reason
it
hasn't
been
put
out
there.
C
C
C
No
no
problem
at
all
yeah
there
you
go
alexander
advice:
there
you
go:
okay,
jeremy,
create
space
on
the
hub
for
animal
prosthetics.
That
party
did
get
to
at
least
I
get
to
cross
one
off
so
yeah.
There
is
a
space
on
the
hub
for
animal
prosthetics,
it's
empty,
but
it's
there,
bob
you've
been
assigned
the
administrator
and
john
you're
also
in
there
as
a
moderator
and
anyone
else,
who's
interested
in
that
just
let
me
know
actually
it's
open
to
everyone,
so
you
just
hop
on
over
and
add
it
yourself.
C
Absolutely
absolutely
so
I
just
I
didn't
do
that
yet,
because
he'd
be
in
he'd
pop
over
there
and
see
nothing.
So
I
figured
let's
get
a
few
things
in
there
and
then
we'll
invite
all
the
important.
C
Okay,
as
as
has
been
the
case
for
a
while,
I
don't
have
any
kind
of
presentations
on
the
schedule
I
really
would
like
to
so.
I
just
want
to
again
put
the
invitation
out
there.
It
doesn't
have
to
be
anything
fancy.
This
could
be
a
case.
You've
been
working
on
that
you
thought
was
interesting.
This
could
be
a
project
you
have
going.
This
could
be
something
that
a
chapter
is
doing
that
you
might
might
be
worth
sharing.
Really
anything.
C
A
A
Several
months
as
we
get
going,
jeremy
I'll
either
myself
or
even
lars
or
somebody
will
start
talking
about
some
animal
cases.
C
C
A
C
A
B
A
E
The
harness
is
going
to
be
the
critical
port.
D
Are
you
careful
too,
for
you
don't
want
something
that
they're
gonna
chew
on
and
get
sick
from
that.
A
A
C
Anyway,
so
coming
soon
a
new
animal
prosthetic
space-
I
mean
the
space
is
there,
but
there
will
actually
be
content
there
soon
and
people
will
be
invited
and
something
new
and
interesting
could
open
up
some
new
opportunities
to
to
help.
So
that's
very
cool.
C
All
right,
let's
see,
did
I
get
through
all
of
the
oh
yeah
I
have
one
more,
which
is
to
reach
out
to
masby
this
time
I
do
mean
masby
about
asynchronous
email
notifications
on
the
hub,
the
idea
being
right.
Now,
emails
are
being
pushed
out
on
a
periodic
basis.
You
know
every
so
often
the
engine
runs
and
it
it
sends
all
the
emails
that
are
needed
if
we
could,
if
there's
an
option
to
change
that,
so
that
it's
asynchronous,
in
other
words,
whenever
a
notification
needs
to
be
sent,
messages
get
sent
immediately.
C
That
could
then
enable
us
to
enable
push
notifications
to
mobile
devices
by
using
google
gmail
tool,
type
api
tools
or
whatever
I
don't
even
know
all
the
details,
but
it
would
make
it
possible.
That's
what
I'm
told
so
I
have
to
reach
out
and
ask
them.
If
that's
an
option,
I
haven't
done
so
yet
so
we'll
move
on
all
right.
C
So
in
terms
of
discussion
topics,
first
up
I've
got
the
goldman
sachs
funding
opportunities
so
for
any
that
might
not
have
seen
the
previous
sessions
we
had
them
come
in
and
a
couple
of
folks
from
goldman
sachs,
elena
and
alec
came
in
and
and
spoke
to
us
about,
the
analyst
impact
fund-
and
this
is
basically
an
opportunity
for
is
it
for
interns?
Is
that
right,
john
new
analysts?
I'm
sorry,
not
interns.
C
Yeah
new
analysts
who
joined
within
two
years
are
able
to
nominate
a
nonprofit
of
their
choice
to
win
up
to
250
000
of
funding.
Now
it's
a
long
process
with
a
number
of
phases
and
out
of
some
900
applicants,
one
will
be
selected
to
win
the
250
000,
but
there
will
be
a
total
of
25
winning
spots
with
decreasing
amounts
of
of
awards,
so
lots
of
interesting
opportunity.
C
We
have
already
passed
through
phase
one
and
are
now
approved
and
in
phase
approved
for
phase
two,
I
suppose,
and
so
we're
having
regular
meetings
with
them
and
starting
to
craft.
The
information
that's
needed.
We
had
the
first
of
those
meetings
with
alec
and
we'll
continue
to
have
meetings
to
prepare
this
submission,
which
is
a
six
slide.
Deck
that'll
summarize
key
things
about
what
you
know
who
and
what
we
are
and
our
key
sort
of
the
mission
and
what
we
would
be
doing
with
this
funding
and
and
all
that
good
stuff.
C
B
Let's
see
yes,
25.
C
E
E
What
I
can
say
is
that
we're
now.
E
900.
we're
just
doing.
C
D
A
C
E
Yeah,
so
I
I
was
just
saying
that
by
going
from
stage
one
to
stage
three,
we
went
from
a
field
of
900
to
a
field
of
300.
E
on
the
goldman
sachs.
I
also
wanted
to
note
that
you
know
for
us.
We
know
what
we
would
do
with
five
or
ten
or
twenty
five
thousand
dollars,
but
the
big
question
of
what
would
you
do
if
you
had
250
is
a
deep
question.
C
So
I
and
I
I
was
actually
going
to
skip
this.
I
was
going
to
say
I
don't
want
to
spend
time
on
this
today
only
because
we
have
a
whole
bunch
of
other
things
to
talk
about,
and
we've
already
covered
this
a
couple
of
times.
So
I'm
just
going
to
pull
it
up
here
for
a
minute,
so
people
can
kind
of
review
what
we've
talked
about
before
ideas
of
working
with
big
refugee
camps,
maybe
doing
something
around
the
pandemic:
open
source
resource
educational
resource
center,
climate
related
stuff.
The
I
think
we
can.
E
Yeah
I
just
want
to
let
people
know
that
I
I
predict
that
we
are
converging
on
the
notion
of
some
sort
of
enable
installation
for
one
or
more
refugee
camps
as
our
ambitious
goal,
both
in
order
to
provide
prosthetics
to
people
in
refugee
camps
and
perhaps
to
give
them
a
resource
that
they
can
use
for
solving
other
problems.
C
E
C
C
We
talked
about
you
know
through
that
venture,
maybe
taking
it
as
an
opportunity
to
build
out
almost
like
a
template
for
setting
up
new
kind
of
clinic
maker
spaces,
in
other
words
a
facility
that
would
have
the
equipment,
for
you
know,
3d
printing,
that
would
have
the
people
trained
to
use
that,
but
also
have
you
know
a
properly
trained
medical
support,
personnel
and
basically
have
everything
basically
built
out
in
template
form
to
where,
when
we
want
to
repeat
this
whole
thing,
we
know
exactly
what
we
need
to.
C
You
know
order
what
to
send
where
who
needs
to
be
involved
and
basically
have
this.
This
sort
of
a
you
know,
clinic
maker
space
in
a
box
type
thing
recognizing
that
some
of
these
things
might
already
be
present.
You
know
there
might
already
be
a
physical
structure.
There
might
already
be
some
of
the
utilities.
There
might
already
be
a
printer.
You
never,
but
you
know
basically
having
a
template
that
you
can
use
with
check,
boxes
and
stuff
like
that.
That
was
something
that
al
got
kind
of
excited
about.
A
I'd
like
to
issue
a
challenge
to
us
as
we
as
we
craft
this
message.
I
agree
that
for
the
purposes
I
agree
complete
with
jonathan
the
purposes
of
this
goldman
sex
award,
we
have
to
stick
to
our
knitting
a
bit
and
and
show
okay.
We
can
utilize
a
quarter
million
or
even
any
frankly,
I
think
it's
anything
above
75
000
and
above
any
sum
like
that,
we
can
utilize
and
this,
whether
it's
refugee
or
but
this
installation
and
template,
I
think,
is
definitely
the
way
to
go.
A
A
C
C
A
C
A
C
C
It
needs
to
be
immediately
clear
how
we're
gonna
have
an
impact
and
how
we
can
leverage
that
funding,
which
I,
as
I
said
in
our
other
meeting.
I
think
we're
well
positioned
to
do
because
we
have
an
existing
volunteer
network
all
over
the
world
of
people
that
are
willing
to
absorb
the
costs
individually
or
as
a
chapter
of
the
materials,
and
you
know
all
of
that.
So
where
are
you
know
we
already?
We
can
leverage
their
funding
in
a
way
that
you
know
a
lot
of
other
organizations.
A
E
It
makes
a
good
point.
I
think
that,
in
terms
of
the
larger
foundation,
I
think
internet
and
education
are
might
well
be
things
that
we
would
set
the
stage
for
simply
because
we
would
involve
connectivity
and
learning
skills
in
collaboration
with
the
larger
community.
But
you
know
I
I'm
sure
there
are
educational
challenges
and
lots
of
young
people
in
these
camps
who,
if
they
were,
you
know,
the
vision
is,
if
you
could
help
them,
become
change
makers
and
not
just
people
waiting
for
someone.
A
C
D
Yeah,
I
think
jeremy's
point
is
a
really
good
one.
You
know
if
you
think
about
a
3d
printer
as
one
kind
of
device
and
an
ecosystem
of
devices.
D
You
know
many
volunteers
have
some
sort
of
space
in
their
basement
or
they're
part
of
a
larger
maker
space,
and
then,
if
you
think
about
a
3d
printed
prosthetic
as
one
kind
of
device
and
a
larger
ecosystem
with
assistive
technology
and
other
kind
of
supportive
technologies,
you
know
I
do
wonder
if
these
kind
of
installations
of
you
know
kind
of
learning
center,
slash
maker
spaces
if
they
were
led
by
the
folks
in
these
spaces,
a
lot
of
the
educational
partners
within
enable
are
really
looking
for
direct
impact
and
if
they
had
an
opportunity
to
through
sort
of
an
educational
project
partner
with
a
team
and
then
have
that
team
at
that
site,
lead
them
in
one
of
their
priorities
and
the
school
could
be
supporting
them
to
you
know,
work
on
solving.
D
You
know
some
crucial
issue
at
in
their
environment,
using
not
just
3d
printing
and
not
just
prosthetics.
You
know
it
could
expand
and
I
know
john
and
I
have
had
a
lot
of
conversations
about
sort
of
the
the
cascading
impacts
of
the
community
that
you
know
in
this
network
that
we've
all
been
working
with.
So.
E
Since
alexander
has
pointed
out
that
3d
printing
is
also
used
to
make
weapons,
I
will
say
that
the
idea
of
bringing
3d
printers
to
a
refugee
camp
was
explored
quite
intensively
in
around
2015
by
a
guy
in
syria
and
jordan.
He
is
a
jordanian
who
now
runs
a
fab
lab
in
the
city
of
oman,
but
he
started
by
walking
from
camp
to
camp
with
a
an
early
ultimaker
on
in
his
backpack.
E
I
helped
him
secure
the
ultimaker
from
from
sandra
vangelin
back
in
the
early
days,
and
there
was
great
resistance
to
putting
potential
tools
for
making
weapons
into
the
hands
of
refugees
in
that
part
of
the
world,
at
least.
In
any
rate,
I
am,
I
have
reached
out
again
to
andrew
lamb
who's.
E
We're
going
to
need
to
be
partnering
with
someone
who
understands
refugee
camps
that
that's
really
going
to
be
our
target,
someone
who
understands
and
has
already
has
a
presence,
but
when
I
had
a
preliminary
discussion
with
him
about
this
a
few
weeks
ago,
he
was
quite
interested
and
was
going
to
talk
to
his
colleagues.
So
we
are
exploring
these
issues.
C
And
I
would
just
say
that
to
add
to
that,
I
think
it's
really
a
timing
issue.
I
think
you-
and
I
don't
know
I'm
guessing
here.
You
might
find
a
different
response
today
than
you
found,
however,
many
years
ago,
because
I
remember
when
3d
printing
was
just
getting
big.
There
was
all
this
hype
about
3d
printed
guns
and
everyone
was
freaking
out
about
it
and
it
really
turned
out
to
be
a
whole
bunch
of
noise
about
nothing.
A
A
C
C
Your
email
we
just
launched
yeah,
we
just
launched
a
new
three-in-one
machine,
so
it
looks
like
a
3d
printer,
but
it's
modular,
so
it
can
do
3d
printing,
it
can
do
laser
cutting
and
it
can
do
cnc,
carving
and
milling
even
four
axis.
So
I'm
doing
it
right
now
with
a
lathe
kind
of
a
rotary
attachment
where
you
can
actually
do
carving
on
a
rotary.
So
it's
a
very
fancy
machine
and
it's
it's
an
under
two
thousand
dollar
machine
for
all
three
modules.
So
pretty
interesting.
That's
for
the
largest
of
three
sizes!
C
By
the
way
so
yeah,
I
think
that's
going
to
be
very
popular
with
schools
and
maker
spaces.
Alina
was
suggesting
that
she
thinks
that
a
lot
of
maker
spaces
would,
you
know,
look
at
getting
three
of
those
just
so
they
can
have
one
in
3d,
printing
mode
and
one
in
laser
cutting
mode
and
one
in
cnc
mode,
because
they're
pretty
affordable,
but
yeah.
It's
a
pretty
cool
machine
and
does
I
I
do
think
it'll
open
up
some
cool
options
for
enable
for
anyone.
That
has
something
like
that.
C
You
could,
for
example,
3d
print
a
device
and
then
laser
engrave
a
design
onto
it,
and
you
could
do
cd
cnc
carving
into
it.
If
you
wanted
to
just
requesting
new
options,
I
don't
know
so
on
we
go.
I
got
a
placeholder
here
for
case
related
things
and
right
now.
The
only
thing
I
have
to
talk
about
briefly
is
the
custom
device
we're
doing
for
our
friend
bishnu
bob.
Are
you
able
to
kind
of
take
the
lead
on
that
from
here
up,
you're,
muted,
you're,
muted,
bob
you're,
muted.
A
Okay,
okay,
all
right,
I'm
muted!
Yes,
I
sent
you
an
email
jeremy.
I
said
yes,
I
would
but
I
had
a
question
in
the
email
which
I'll
ask
now:
okay,
with
the
stl,
I
could
just
at
a
hundred
percent
print.
C
Print
yes,
by
the
way
here,
just
so
you
guys
can
see
it.
I
scanned,
I,
I
redid
the
scan
using
a
new
we're
doing
a
new
creality
3d
scanner
now
that
we
have
on
the
way-
and
they
sent
me
one
for
testing-
and
this
is
the
scan
from
it,
as
you
can
see,
really
nice
and
clean
high
resolution
and
the
really
cool
thing
about
this
now.
This
is
again
I
still
like
the
photogrammetry
approach.
We
talked
about
last
time.
Trinio
works
well
for
a
five
dollar
app.
C
It
did
not
get
the
scale
right.
I
realized
that,
after
the
fact
you'd
have
to
rescale
things,
I
think
with
it
to
get
the
proportions
correct,
which
is
a
little
odd.
Maybe
I
did
something
wrong
and
I
did
have
to
do
a
whole
bunch
of
cleanup
in
mesh
mixer.
I
did
some
smoothing,
and
you
know
things
like
that.
The
interesting
thing
about
the
creality
scanner,
I'm
testing-
is
their
software.
Does
all
that
for
you.
C
So
it
does
the
scan
and
builds
a
point
cloud,
and
then
it
does
all
this
automated
processing,
where
it
connects
everything
up
and
discards
the
noise
and
it
does
the
smoothing
it
does
everything
for
you.
So
this
is
exactly
what
it
output,
a
perfectly
clean,
solid,
watertight
model
ready
to
export.
So
that
was
pretty
impressive.
C
It's
a
it'll
be
easiest
to
just
pull
it
up
and
show
it
it's
the.
I
don't
have
it
up
on
our
site
yet
because
it's
just
on
the
way
but
I'll
pull
it
up
on
their
page.
It
is.
It
works
either
in
tabletop
mode
or
handheld
mode.
So
it
goes
on
a
tripod
like
this,
but
then
you
can
also
just
use
it
as
a
handheld
scanner.
They
even
give
you
a
3d
printable
handle
that
you
can.
You
know,
attach
to
it
for
yourself,
so
it's
pretty
pretty
cool
little
device.
It
is
it's!
C
It's
not
cheap.
It's
630
dollars,
but
that's
less
expensive
than
the
matter
and
form
scanner
that
we
currently
have
and
so
far
I'm
thinking
this
is
superior
because
you
can
do
larger
objects.
You've
got
the
handheld
option.
The
only
downside
of
running
to
so
far
is
you
need
a
pretty
hefty
computer
and
they
don't
have
a
mac
version
of
the
software
right.
C
Now
that
I
can
find
it's
only
windows,
so
you
need
a
really
powerful
computer
to
process
all
the
frames
as
it's
as
it's
going,
but
that's
something
that'll
get
better
with
as
they
release
better
software.
D
C
So,
anyway,
that's
just
one
more
option
for
people,
and
I
had
that
down
here
under
our
3d
scanning
topic,
but
yeah
one
one
more
option.
I
have
it
here
in
our
notes,
so
we
talked
last
time
about
trinio,
a
five
dollar
app
for
iphone
creality
scanner,
I
think,
is
a
good
option.
If
you
want
to
have
a
hardware
option,
let's,
let's
find
other
options,
we'll
list
them
here.
I
know
there
are
other
options
out
there.
Let's
find
the
ones
that
work
well,
so
bob
sounds
good
print
one
for
yourself.
C
Let
me
know
what
else
you
need
there,
but
the
scale
should
be
right
on
that.
A
Good
I'll
print
it
up
and
I'll
take
over
the
communications
and
we'll
make
a
device
for
bishnu.
C
Awesome,
I
think
we
already
covered
animal
prosthetics.
We
got
the
space
set
up,
we're
going
to
start
to
build
that
out.
Invite
people
in
probably
get
some
kind
of
collaboration
going,
and
it
should
be
a
lot
of
fun.
D
Case
related
stuff,
I
added
a
link
in
the
chat.
There
was
a
whole
bunch
of
similar
cases,
the
last
couple
months
involving
more
or
less
a
workable
thumb
or
some
fingers
that
I
tried
to
pull
together
in
a
pretty
long
post,
but
I
separated
it
out
into
the
customization
space
similar
to
what
you
did
with
animal
prosthetics
and
sort
of
gave
a
little
encouragement
to
anybody
who
has
a
project
they
want
to
pursue
to
create
a
space
and
that
kind
of
stuff.
But
I
did
want
to
bring
that
up.
D
D
The
long
post
is
fine
either
one
will
show
it's
at
the
top,
but
you'll
see,
there's
there's
a
whole
bunch
of
bullets
and
each
one
is
sort
of
a
separate
post
or
a
case
with
similar
stuff.
D
E
Yeah
there's
a
lot
of
stuff
there
oops,
and
so
it's
it's
a
useful
resource.
I
want
to
make
sure
the
thousands
of
people
who
watch
these
podcasts
understand
that
this
is
the
kind
of
thing
that
one
could
build
a
space
and
a
sub-community
on.
I
don't
think
present.
Companies
is
doing
that
right
now,
but
it's
a
recurring
problem.
There's
been
a
lot
of
discussion
of
it
and
there
has
been
a
lot
of
reinventing
of
the
wheel
when
these
cases
like
this
come
up.
E
D
Yeah
and
it's
similar
to
the
animal
cases
I
mean
it's,
you
know
what
bob's
been
doing
is
pulling
together
some
people
that
are
doing
relevant
work
and
getting
a
space
together,
and
so
you
know
it's
we've
done
that
with
the
bionics
project.
Also,
or
you
know,
that's
community,
it
has
its
own
space.
A
Just
to
wrap
up
the
animal
lars
and
I
have
had
private
conversations-
he's
he's
absolutely
gonna,
be
a
partner
with
me
in
this
and
by
this
time
next
week
we
will
have
publicized
the
whole
effort
on
the
hub
and
trying
to
get
more
people
involved.
A
E
C
I
think
the
veterinarians
are
probably
the
key
there.
There
have
got
to
be
so
many
veterinarians
that
run
into
animals.
That
are,
you
know,
missing,
limbs
and
obviously
they're.
Not
they
don't
have
the
option
of
going
out
to
a
prosthetist,
so
they
just
they
do
nothing.
I'm
sure
that
they
would
be
much
more
welcoming
to
amateurs
like
us
getting
involved
than
our
human
prosthetist
or
are
human.
You
know,
doctors,
that's.
A
C
Okay
on
we
go
so
like
I
said
I
put
a
new,
I
kind
of
group
things
here
under
technical
stuff,
so
we've
talked
some
about
3d
scanning.
I'm
curious
alexander.
Have
you
done
any
3d
scanning?
Do
you
have
any
tools
that
you
like?
Okay,.
B
C
Yeah,
I
know
autodesk
has
one
what
is
it
recap,
but
again
last
I
checked
it
was
windows,
it
was
windows.
Well,
you
can
get
a
you
can
get
a
free
subscription
under
their
educational
license.
If
you,
if
you
qualify
but
yeah
I'd,
have
to
look,
I
know
they
changed
it
a
while
back.
So
I
don't
know
if
it's
still
the
same,
but
I
know
I
do
currently
have
an
educational
license,
because
we
homeschool
my
son
and
so
yeah,
I
it
but
it's
windows.
C
C
I
don't
think
there's
anything
new
here,
but
we
do
have
coming
up
in
a
week
our
presentation
from
andrew
and
ward
about
anche,
and
I
I
think
after
that,
having
had
a
fusion
presentation
and
a
non-state
presentation,
I
don't
know
if
maybe
we're
gonna
have
some
someone
give
us
a
blender
and
an
open
scan
presentation,
but
I
think
we'll
be
better
positioned
to
start
having
a
discussion.
You.
D
C
More
collectively
about
sort
of
the
pros
and
cons
and
obviously
everyone's
free
to
choose
to
use
whatever
they
want.
We
don't
have
to
all
agree
on
one
tool,
but
it
sure
would
be
nice
if,
if
there
could
be
some
kind
of
you
know,
I
don't
even
call
it
standardization,
but
at
least
a
leaning
towards
standardization.
C
So
I
think
that's
all
we
got
here
for
technical
stuff.
I
put
a
topic
in
for
research
and
development
just
because
it
is
a
recurring
topic,
especially
given
that
I
know
it's
an
area
of
interest
to
alexander,
and
so
I
thought
it
was
worth
kind
of
collecting
some
of
our
ideas
here,
so
ben
aggregated,
a
bunch
of
mentions
of
partial
hand,
solutions
and
posted
into
the
customization
space.
That's
what
we
link
to
up
here.
B
So
yeah
that
was
just
posted.
C
All
right
so
that
one
we
already
talked
about
and
enable
collaborative
design
team
is
meeting
weekly.
So
I
just
figured
we'd,
you
know
share
what
we're
up
to.
I
know
we've
mentioned
this
in
passing,
but
we
do
have
a
group
of
folks
that
is
meeting
every
thursday
morning
now
or
at
least
morning
u.s
time
to
develop
a
new
and
improved
hand,
design
we've
been
working
together
for
quite
some
time.
We
are.
We
are
open
if
others
are
interested
in
joining
the
kind
of
general
approach
we've
been
taking.
C
Is
we
don't
want
to
just
kind
of
have
this
team
growing
randomly
and
turn
into
some
chaotic
kind
of
very
difficult
to
to
manage
group,
and
so
we've,
we've
kind
of
taken?
The
approach
of
we
have
really
great
talented
people
in
the
team
and
we've
already
kind
of
gotten
a
good
allocation
of
responsibilities.
C
So
if
somebody
wants
to
kind
of
join
in
we're
kind
of
looking
at
you
know,
does
this
individual
bring
some
skill
set
that
we
don't
have
on
the
team
currently,
so
we
are
kind
of
trying
to
be
a
little
bit
selective,
but
certainly
not
exclusive.
So
if
you
want
to
get
involved,
reach
out
we're
happy
to
have
that
discussion,
it's
just
something
that
the
team
would
discuss.
It's
it's.
There
is
a
discussion
before
you
know.
People
join
in.
That's
all.
C
We
are
yeah,
we're
doing
them
all
through
youtube,
live
and
so
the
sessions
are.
Those
recordings
are
available
through
the
collaborative
design
team
space,
that's
up
in
the
hub.
So
if
you're
interested
in
taking
a
look
at
what
we're
doing
and
if
see,
if
it's
something
that
you
can
contribute
to
and
if
something
you
want
to
get
involved
in,
let
us
know,
but
essentially
what
we're
trying
to
do
is
build
a
hybrid
design.
That's
a
between
the
it's
got.
C
The
aesthetics
of
the
kinetic
hand
that
that
really
beautiful,
you
know
organic
look
of
an
actual
human
hand,
but
it
will
use
a
push.
Pull
mechanism
like
the
osprey
hand,
using
a
monofilament
design
and
a
number
of
other
improvements
that
we're
incorporating
along
the
way
that
we
hope
will
kind
of
add
to
what
those
two
designs
already
offer.
We're
pretty
excited
about
what
we're
doing
and
alexander
has
come
up
with
some
really
cool
innovations
on
the
design
side
of
things
he's
really
a
brilliant
thinker.
C
E
Yeah
another
feature
which
we
are
exploring,
which
is
looking
promising
now,
is
the
notion
that
lateral
action
with
the
wrist
will
allow
the
fingers,
as
I'm
trying
to
demonstrate
to
contract
differentially
under
wrist
control
and
in
doing
that,
we've
benefited
greatly
from
alex
thomas's
design,
which
I
think
jeremy
is
going
to
be
printing
this
week.
So
one
of
the
things
that's
happening
in
this
process
is
that
we
are
sort
of
trying
to
evaluate
and
incorporate
best
of
features
from
other
devices.
C
Yeah
there
are
so
many
designs
in
our,
and
some
of
them
aren't
even
in
our
catalog
and
and
some
of
them
you
know
maybe
the
design
overall
never
caught
on.
Maybe
it
has
some
issues,
but
there
might
be
one
thing
about
it:
that's
just
brilliant!
You
know
and
we're
trying
to
get
all
of
those
great
little
bits
from
all
the
different
designs
out
there
and
pull
them
together.
So
it's
really
kind
of
an
exciting
process.
We're
our
overall
goal
is
to
make
this
really
accessible.
C
C
So
we're
really
we're
hoping
that
this
is
something
that
will
be
kind
of
the
go-to
design.
If
we
can
get
it
right,
we'll
see,
but
that's
what
we're
up
to
so
that's
been
a
lot
of
fun
and
feel
free
to
jump
into
that
collaborative
design
team
space
on
the
hub
and
check
out
more
and
look
at
the
recordings
to
see
what
we're
up
to.
E
Right
and
just
to
to
reinforce
what
jeremy
was
saying,
we
have
a
group,
that's
collaborating
a
small
group,
that's
collaborating
very
effectively,
but
we
are,
I
am
at
he's
quite
sensitive
to
the
national.
E
Some
people
might
want
in
or
feel
that
they're
being
kept
out
working
your
way
in
by
looking
at
the
youtube
videos
joining
the
collaborative
space
reaching
out
to
jeremy
or
me,
no
one
who's
serious
and
can
make
a
real
contribution
is,
is
unwelcome
and
by
all
means,
if
you
think
you've
got
something
to
contribute,
get
yourself
up
to
speed
and
let
us
help
you
get
integrated
into
the
group.
E
C
Yeah
I'm
just
trying
to
okay
yeah.
So
let
me
let's,
let's
just
touch
briefly
on
this
and
then
I'm
going
to
add
that
one
in
here
there's
a
note
here
from
alexander
about
a
group
of
students
in
australia
that
made
a
fully
parametric
version
of
the
phoenix
v3
so
you're
trying
to
get
access
to
the
files.
I
just
wondered:
if
there's
any
update
there,
were
you
able
to
get
those.
B
Files
not
that
I
remember
I'm
not
sure
if
they
are
still
waiting
on
an
email
from
me
or
if
they
posted
some
of
the
files
and
don't
remember,
I
think
they
posted
something
and
john
commented
that
they
posted
something
really
weird
and
incomplete
and
they
have
the.
I
don't
remember
the
exact
state,
it's
somewhere
on
the
post,
okay,
yeah,
apparently.
C
D
B
Problem,
it's
a
problem
within
it's
not
a
general
device
per
se,
because
it's
using
a
prohibitive
software,
so
we
might
need,
as
I
said
in
my
proposal,
we
might
need
a
separate
space
for
those
things.
C
C
Okay,
so
alexander
is
it's
up
currently
on
lumio
as
a
discussion
which
is
leading
to
a
proposal,
so
it
will
soon
be
a
proposal
for
voting
right
now.
It's
discussion
and,
as
I
understand
what
we're
talking
about
is
redesigning
and
reorganizing.
C
The
enable
device,
catalog
and
and
alexander
tell
me
if,
if
I'm
missing
anything
here,
but
we're
trying
to
make
it
more
visual
easier
to
navigate,
but
we're
also
trying
to
add
in
new
types
of
information
that
will
especially
appeal
to
engineers,
things
like
maybe
different
types
of
mechanisms
that
are
involved
in
a
design.
Maybe
certain
design
challenges.
Things
like
that
did
I
describe
that.
Yes,.
C
C
B
All
right
so,
besides
that
also
some
simulations
of
the
more
complicated
mechanics,
because
some
of
the.
C
E
C
E
E
There's
been
some
support
from
the
people
who
have
commented,
it
did
set
the
stage
for
alexander
sort
of
tuning
up
the
financial
side
and
he's
come
up
with
what
I
think
is
a
a
very
reasonable
proposition
saying:
let's
define
three
deliverables
which
will
be
delivered
at
a
thousand
dollars
each.
I
think
the
real
question
for
the
community
and
I'm
going
to
tell
you
right
now.
E
I
think
the
answer
is
yes
is:
would
those
three
deliverables
be
worth
a
thousand
dollars
each,
and
I
think
the
answer
is
absolutely
yeah
and
there
is
a
further
benefit
that
is
really
part
of
the
agenda.
Alexander
is
already,
as
we've
heard,
doing,
lots
of
really
valuable
work
for
the
community
and
he
seems
to
be
unable
to
resist
the
urge
to
jump
in
and
volunteer
whenever
there's
something
he
can
contribute
to.
This
is
a
wonderful
thing.
E
It
has
become
a
a
really
valuable
resource
and
by
engaging
him
to
do
this
task,
he's
gonna
make
it
easier
for
all
of
us
and
him
in
particular
to
forge
ahead
more
efficiently
on
further
research
and
development
by
understanding
the
state
of
the
projects
in
the
community
and
potentially
to
begin
coordinating
the
community
coordinating
the
community
of
r
d
and
making
sure
that
good
ideas
don't
get
lost
is
not
an
explicit
point
of
this
proposal,
but
I
think
it's
it's
exactly
what
this
proposal
could
lead
to
if
stages
deliverables,
one
through
three
work
for
all
of
those
reasons,
I'm
going
to
be
voting
for
it
and
promoting
it
and
would
encourage
other
people
to
do
too
and
to
give
alex
feedback
about
areas
that
they
think
need
development.
E
So,
in
this
context,
let
me
say
that
the
work
of
the
australian
group
using
rhino
is
an
interesting
case
in
point,
because
it's
not
a
easily
open
sourceable
product.
But
if
alexander,
you
judge
that
it
has
some
important
features,
you
should
figure
out
a
way.
I
think,
within
the
revised
design,
catalog
that
you're
talking
about
to
flag
those
features
and
make
them
visible.
So
that
they
can
be
incorporated
into
other
designs
or
be
ported
into
other
platforms,
that
other
people
will
be
able
to
work
work
on.
E
B
B
B
So
having
things
that
are
done
in
rhino
or
solidworks,
which
are
paid,
software
is
one
such
case
sure
we
also
have
the
most
frequent
modifications
on
some
of
the
devices
which
should
also
be
listed
in
a
way
just
not
in
the
main
device
list
it
we
have
to
think
of
a
space,
and
that
would
be
the
third
part
of
the
deliverables
of
these
certain
spaces
and
how
to
organize
them.
Well,.
E
So
that's
all
great.
I
would
also
suggest
that,
as
you're
sort
of
working
on
this
feel
free
to
use
us
as
a
sounding
board
for
approaches
that
you're
thinking
about
it
use
the
community
as
well
by
the
way,
but
I
mean
you
can
do.
This
is
something
that's
meant
to
benefit
the
entire
community.
The
town
hall
meetings
are
here
to
sort
of
channel
some
of
those
issues
so
simply
preventing
presenting
the
community
with
a
feta.
Complete
is
probably
not
the
best
practice.
E
The
best
practice
is
to
say
here's
what
I'm
working
on
I'd,
welcome
feedback
and
you'll,
get
lots
of
interesting
ideas,
and
possibly
people
to
help
you
with
your
task.
Just
because
you're
leading
the
charge
doesn't
mean
you
have
to
do
all
of
the
labor
we're
looking
for
ways
of
including
other
people.
D
D
So
there's
all
these
great
projects
that
that
happen
and
then
get
you
know
buried
with
all
this
other
stuff,
isabella
was
able
to
pull
in
two
interns,
which
is
a
little
bit
of
a
transition
into
maybe
something
we
can
touch
on
before
the
end
of
the
the
call
today,
but
that
kind
of
foresight
is
really
useful.
D
So
you
know
keep
that
in
mind,
alexander,
that
you
know
having
spaces
being
able
to
delegate
leaders
of
those
spaces.
Getting
this
stuff
to
to
move
on
its
own
is
is
really
a
challenge,
but
super
important,
so
good
job
on
that.
D
B
D
Yeah
we
can,
I
can
ask
them
if
they
can
join,
there's
going
to
be
some
of
the
regular
meetings
that
each
of
them
will
probably
be
involved
with
ongoing
for
throughout
their
internship
it'll,
be
different
depending
on
the
tasks
that
they're
working
on.
But
you
know
the
orientation
new
members.
E
D
And
they're
both,
I
think
it
sounds
like
they've
worked
together
already
and
in
the
past
they're.
Both
really,
I
think,
uniquely
qualified
for
the
tasks
they'll
be
doing
so
allison
will
be
working
on
sort
of
event.
D
Coordination
and
we've
had
some
ideas
about
how
that
can
culminate
by
the
end
of
the
fall
term,
but
it
includes
these
remote
sessions
and
sort
of
building
on
that
towards
potentially
some
kind
of
a
regional
or
online
effort
and
then
with
kevin
he'll,
be
looking
at
onboarding
as
well,
as
I
think,
just
general
archive
practices
and
that's
going
to
be
really
wonderful
to
have
him
looking
at
our
resources
and
how
to
pull
it
together.
D
He'll
be
taking
a
a
step
forward
with
isabella's
model
that
she's
left
with
the
launch
pad
and
working
with
john
and
I
on
on
how
to
build
some
of
these
sort
of
choose
your
own
adventure
style
maps.
We
looked
a
little
bit
at
some
of
the
visualization
software
that's
available
yesterday,
so
they
will
both
begin
with
us
in
september
in
those
two
separate
areas,
but
there's
a
lot
of
crossover,
so
I
think
it'll
just
be
really
nice
to
have
that
momentum
to
continue.
C
C
Okay,
all
right
great,
so
yeah,
looking
forward
to
meeting
them
and
we'll
get
to
hear
more
about
what
they're
doing
as
they
go.
C
C
B
A
D
One
of
the
challenges
is,
it
looks
a
lot
like
the
forum
and
it's
it's
clear
once
you
you
know
are
there
that
it's
it's
more
pared
down.
You
don't
have
all
the
noise,
but
it
is
having
them
next
to
each
other
might
be
a
little
bit.
I
mean
we
might
want
to
have
some
very
clear,
visual
identification
somewhere
within
the
dashboard
or
the
forum
just
titling
it
I
mean,
as.
D
C
D
We
can
also
sort
of
hack
up
something
I
mean
right
now
we're
in
the
forum
and
it
it's
there's.
The
pin
post
and
I
can
have
the
pin
post
say,
welcome
to
the
general
enable
forum-
and
I
can
say
that
in
big
text.
So
when
you're
there
there
you
are,
I
don't
think
we
can
do
so
much
in
the
dashboard.
There's
no
pin
post
in
the
dashboard.
D
Yeah,
but
that
might
be,
I
think,
you're
right
that
if
we,
if
we
can
have
that
farther
over,
I
I
did
mention
the
dashboard
as
a
key
tool
for
new
members
in
the
last
focus.
D
C
B
C
C
Next
to
forum,
so
let's
maybe
hold
off
until
we
can
follow
up
with
masby
to
see
if
we
can
add
another,
you
know
divider
or
something
like
that,
and
then
we
can
do
that.
D
D
Yeah
just
a
quick
reminder
at
one
o'clock
today,
in
one
hour
we
have
the
new
member
meet
up
so
join
if
you
can,
and
at
five.
E
O'clock
today,
eastern
that's
five
hours
from
now
six
o'clock
eastern.
E
Five:
okay,
six
o'clock,
eastern
ben
and
safe
savage
and
I
are
giving
a
presentation
to
ite
s
m
technical
institute
in
mexico
about
enable.
E
It
will
be
recorded
and
zoom
link
is
in
the
hub.
D
It
will
be
recorded,
but
no
it'll
be
it'll,
be
nice
to
have
some
folks
in
the
audience.
I
think
mike
larson
is
interested
in
joining.
There
is
an
event
at
the
end
in
spanish.
There's,
there's
some
sort
of
contest
that
they're
gonna
have.
D
I
was
gonna
mention,
I
think,
we're
out
of
time,
but
I
was
gonna
mention
to
be
if
we
wanted
to
contribute
to
that.
Somehow
they
have
they're
setting
themselves
up
as
a
new
chapter,
but
they've
been
really
active.
I
think
they've
done
something
like
four
to
ten
deliveries
already,
but
they
they
never
went
through
the
full
process,
so
they
are
in
process
right
now
of
going
through
the
badge
set
up
but
they're
biomedical
students.
D
It's
a
large
group
they've
got
some
pretty
significant
resources,
but
we're
struggling
with
the
current
situation
to
get
filament
and
printers
and
stuff
they're
sort
of
working.
You
know
distributed
lee
within
their
community.
You
know
one
guy
has
got
a
printer
in
his
basement
and
you
know
another
member.
You
know
they're
all
working
studying
remotely
with
total
good
stuff.
C
Maybe
this
is
a
we
can
have
just
a
quick
discussion
about
this,
then
remember.
We
do
have
this
program
where
this
group
does
have
the
authority
to
authorize
up
to
a
thousand
dollars
from
the
fund,
and
this
might
be
a
really
good
case
for
where,
as
you
said,
ben,
if
they've
already
demonstrated
they've
already
achieved,
you
know
done
successful
cases.
They've
already
shown
what
they
can
do,
they're
struggling,
they
need
funding
and
we're
doing
this
event
with
them.
C
D
Yeah
I
was
hoping
that
we
could
have
time
to
chat
about
that
today.
Maybe
we
still
have
enough
people
to
look
at
that
for
a
small
amount
of
of
support,
but
you
know
they
have
organized
this
conference.
It's
going
to
be
to,
I
think,
a
hundred
participants.
You
know
mainly
students
in
mexico
biomedical
students.
D
They
seem
really
motivated
and
they're
doing
this
contest
at
the
end,
to
give
out
some
things
to
their
community
and-
and
I
think
what
we
have
to
do
is
give
them
some
pointers,
they're
going
to
ask
them
basically
questions
about
our
presentation
and
then
the
people
that
get
those
answers
right
in
this
sort
of
immediate
event.
After
get
these
these
sort
of
gifts
to
encourage
them
to
participate
in
the
in
the
group,
I
thought
it
might
be
nice
to
support
the
group
as
as
a
whole,
with
some
materials.
E
So
I
just
heard
jeremy
suggest
that
we
might
want
to
authorize
a
gift
of
500
ben,
and
I
were
thinking
about
that.
But
jeremy
took
the
baby.
C
I'm
also
happy
to
I'm
happy
to
support
this
through
3d
universe,
I'm
happy
to
send
materials.
As
you
know,
I
still
have
some
printers.
I
need
to
donate,
but
this
is
in
where
mexico
you
said.
D
E
Well,
all
right,
look
we
get
to
talk
to
them
about
that,
but
I
predict
that
if
they
want
it
and
we
want
to
do
it,
it
will
pass
a
formal
vote.
C
C
You
were
interested
in
joining
this
this
thing
tonight
with
this
this
group
in
mexico.
Okay,
that
group
is
already
doing
great
work.
They've
already
made
devices
for
a
bunch
of
people,
they're
looking
to
form
a
chapter,
but
they
they
need
financial
help.
They
don't
have
printers
they
don't.
You
know
they
need
a
little
bit
of
help
to
get
going
since
they've
already
demonstrated,
you
know
what
they
can
do
and
because
we're
doing
this
joint
event
with
them
we're
suggesting
that
we
go
ahead
and
authorize
a
500
distribution
to
them.
C
D
The
tech
day
monterey
campus
in
guadalajara
and
they're
they're,
all
bio
medical
students
I'll
share
their
recent
post
in
the
chat.
C
All
right,
I
think
we
gotta
run
then
thanks.
Everyone.
