To another eos fireside chat this time on discord last few weeks. We did it on uh twitter spaces and we'll definitely go back to twitter spaces in the future, but we are also going to continue doing some on discord. um So thanks for joining everyone today on the agenda, we'll be talking about twitter spaces versus discord. uh We've got some numbers to share and updates regarding the pomelo season. Two final uh we'll be talking about the token 2049 singapore sponsorship that the enf uh announced this week. uh We've got actually a lot of news.

This week we got eosio plus coalition rfps that have been announced. We've got an uh an article about subjective billing and lost transactions that was published as well. We have an emanate beta launch party this weekend. We've got trust swap, which is a swap um application. That's going to be launching on the trust. Evm we've got uh some the bees put out a beginner's guide and, of course, we also are going to be talking about the fractally chain, which uh was the news that came out this weekend.

um So, first of all uh to get us started. um I wanted to talk a bit about twitter spaces versus discord and how uh you guys enjoyed last few weeks on twitter spaces, and if you think um you know, we should continue doing twitter spaces, should we alternate with discord. um The one thing that I personally um don't like for twitter spaces outside of the technical issues that I had last week, assuming those are fixed um is that people can't just jump in and share comments.

You have to be invited on stage you have to request, and I feel you know that barrier to speaking, you know adds some friction and maybe makes it less of an engaging and spontaneous conversation. uh Then, on discord.

um Anyone have any thoughts on that. Do you prefer discord or prefer twitter, or do you think we should? uh You know, do twitter spaces for the networking opportunities it provides, or are you just happy to join on whatever platform uh we happen to host it? That week.

Yeah, I agree I thought it would be. uh It would be nice to have that. What we have here with that ability to jump in, I think it would be a great feature that twitter could add, perhaps in the future. The part that I really like, though, about what we got on twitter space is what we don't get here is seemed more foot traffic from people less core to the community, so we're getting. You know we had people jumping in from outside of this.

You know very tight eos community that we have in our discord server people who don't necessarily get to hear from the community in the community's perspective very often wandering in checking it out that we probably wouldn't have had them in the discord server.

So the way I envision this is both so there's different styles that work better for the different mediums. So I I wasn't at the first uh spaces funeral last week I was on there says my first one as a fireside and um there is a lot of awkward silence. So whenever you, if someone just wants to speak to say, like I agree like it's a much larger hurdle to have to raise your hand, hope the admin sees you and then invites you up on stage, and there was also the issue of um identities.

So this this came up whenever we started this discord. Initiative is some people that we know under a certain name on telegram.

I didn't recognize them by their discord name unless they used this a similar name or profile picture. So it's kind of like everyone's a stranger again same thing on twitter is a lot of people, so even less likely for people to have the same handle on twitter. So whenever you're just calling random people on stage it's kind of like uh you, don't it's like a box of chocolates.

You don't know what you're going to get, but it worked out pretty good, like some random people got brought on stage who, I don't think steph had any clue who they would be.

um So I think spaces is great for panels, so we will be publishing the yield plus blue paper, for example, uh tomorrow, and one of the first uh initiatives coming out of that is going to be like an ama style, um twitter, twitter, space or with, like a panel so to speak. So it'd be like more organized discussion, whereas the firesides are kind of there, there's a plan list of topics, but it's more kind of like a free-flow.

If anyone could talk like we encourage people to talk, um so it's not that we're ever going to get away from one or the other, but um it's important to keep our um foot on the gas with with the discord, because there are there's a lot more um communication happening on on telegram, then, on discord.

The long-term strategy still is for discord to kind of be home, base and kind of be an organized uh resource for the eos community as we grow, especially as we start attracting community members who come from other ecosystems and the last couple of weeks, while doing the space is just looking at the analytics of how so discord provides an analytics dashboard, and it shows you how how many people logged in each given week and there was a significant drop off in numbers.

So that tells me that there are people who probably only come in here and check in uh for the fireside chats. So the longer we went without any kind of discord. Events, the the more that drop off would have been so we do need to figure out what a what a happy medium would be. um The other piece of data is that last week that the numbers still kind of topped off around 50, and that was what we were getting consistently in here week week over week, so it was also an experiment to see okay.

If we just test out this chord again, how many people we get I'm looking right now we have 34..

So clearly there is a drop-off, um but this is all experimental uh trying to figure out what works, but we will be doing both uh it's just which format's best for each situation, and we chose this particular week to test discord again because there's actually another eos event tomorrow on twitter spaces- and maybe I mean we can keep talking about this, but I'd also kind of like to give the floor to dario to kind of pitch his twitter spaces event for tomorrow. If no one else wants to debate this.

Yes, um charles, is in charge. Actually um I just thought: maybe it would be an idea to to make the files sidechat, for example, would be in discord that we could do a twitter space, and, just summarize, the fireside chat the next day with the open mic combined.

um Another reason so these fireside, these fireside chats, are very similar to what you would call a town hall. We just happen to call them fireside chats branding. It could be call whatever you want, but there's a lot of people who don't necessarily speak on these calls who are here every single week. I I see you guys here and those people sometimes communicate in the stream chat, but not necessarily on on the voice chat and while doing the twitter spaces, we were still kind of encouraging using the stream chat on discord.

It wasn't nearly as active and there were a lot. I wasn't even checking it as frequently as I would in these discord shots. So it's really just finding the right fit the right tool for the job and there's pros and cons to both, but we're not ever like the twitter strategy is going to continue it just whether it's a fireside chat or a panel discussion.

uh We're going to do both. So I I think for the the yield plus event would be on twitter spaces. um The way we could look at it as twitter.

Space is kind of like the top of funnel that's how you attract a newer audience, whereas these fireside chats they're very nuanced topics, if you were an outsider and had no clue of eos, these, these conversations would probably be quite confusing for you and the way we do our content strategy is that we always put out the highlight clips in video format after the fact so over the next couple of days, for example, everything we talked about today on the fireside chat.

Anything that's like a really good quote: we're going to publish to twitter we're going to publish to youtube and and a bite-sized bit, so so we're going to continue that for outreach. Also, um but I go back to this is an experiment. um I already saw some people really didn't like going back to discord. They mentioned it in the telegram, um but we'll just kind of play it by ear, and we haven't made a decision.

I don't think for next week yet, but at the same time we might be doing um after we can after I can coordinate with everyone's schedule on the yield plus working group team. There's a very good chance: we could have the fireside chat on here and then we could have an ama type event or a panel type event on twitter spaces next week. So we'd be doing both, but there won't always be an event on both every week, but um we're gonna do both.

uh You know, sharing some thoughts um asking you know if we could do both at the same time, and it's actually something that jana has been looking into does seem like it may be possible, set up the audio so that there's a feed from discord to twitter spaces and also from twitter spaces to discord, or maybe it's just one way not to sure yet, but that's also something we might experiment in the future and potentially maybe figure out a way to have a best of both worlds, where anyone on discord can just jump in no need for a stage and then we're also, you know on uh twitter spaces on on twitter.

At the same time, we'll see we'll see how it all plays out um all right so uh moving on to another topic, unless you know at any time, if someone wants to jump in feel free.

um I always forget, I have push to talk enabled as well. um I just want to remind the everybody in the community that everyone is free to host twitter spaces as well and then use that use those occasions to promote the this event. The fireside chat- and you know the more the more the merrier so keep that in mind.

Yeah, I want to jump in real, quick too. This is felix, uh so dan sing joy and I we're we've been um starting up eden, uh town hall meeting, and so we started out in twitter spaces, but we, uh the idea, is to eventually get two going, um but we're going to be going uh to discord uh starting this sunday, but the kind of the general idea of what how we were viewing twitter spaces and discord is discord will be held for more of, like you could say, like political debates uh within.

What's going on within the eating community um and chief delegates, uh you know as things progress I I see it becoming uh debates becoming more of a thing as we start to approach elections, um and then thursdays were the days we were thinking about, doing twitter spaces events a little later down the road when we're wanting to uh get more like brand recognition for eden. So um you know I I like that.

You know you guys are talking about this to the eos community, because uh you know that's kind of the same thoughts of of uh you know how we're feeling about utilizing both twitter spaces and and discord, and also kind of following you guys as lead of of what you guys got started here with this eos fireside chat.

So yeah, I just wanted to throw that out there, though, so um anyone who's you know, welcome to come, join us over at the eden, discord and expect to have a a town hall meeting this sunday, but um yeah we're we're working on trying to push the discord group as well, because we believe that discord right now is one of the best tools to use to to really kind of organize and get more interaction and engagement from a community.

I just want to flag that this code is good to see the engagement of the community internally, like the number of people who attended a weekly basis and stuff like that, while the twitter spaces is just good indicator for uh the general crypto market uh interest in eos, so a certain event might work in that and others it should be in here, at least like I am all in in neosphere such to continue only in this court and any other announcement can be in two places.

Of the fireside for complex chats to be uh discord and kind of panels, let's send that another ft is coming with modular new projects coming down. They have those on twitter, so they can have a wider exposure.

Yeah, that's how I envision it also. So I get that a lot of times in these firesides. It is the same handful of people speaking, but there are week after week, there's always a few people that speak up. Who aren't the regulars?

If, if there's going to be a focused discussion on a specific topic or topics and there's maybe like four speakers, we know in advance are going to be the main people speaking. That makes sense for spaces.

C

But if we do want to have these open discussions, where you don't have to raise your hand and get a moderator approval just to say, you agree or disagree with something. um That's the downside of twitter spaces is it's less inviting for people who aren't the regulars. Someone wants to speak up who's new to the community or or whatnot, and then also the availability of the text chat so sometimes uh like old timers on here.

They got invited to speak whenever they first kind of came on the scene at eos, and it's like hey, come on and tell us about your project and then they're able to drop a link in the in the stream chat.

So whenever a topic of discussion comes up, because these are free-flowing discussions on the fireside chats, it's also nice to be able to share reference material or links uh with what you're talking about, and also the the pop token strategy, which will be kind of increasing uh the push on that and the awareness of it and putting more materials out over the coming weeks or months um and the being able to claim those by by just dropping your eos account name in the stream chat, for example, is something that we don't have an equivalent of in twitter.

It was a different process of having to kind of uh reply to a twitter thread, and I guess one of the last reasons- and I think this might only be joe louis who it affects was there- are certain people who don't care to create a twitter account but may want to participate in the twitter on the fireside? Chats.

That's probably not the biggest reason for this, but there there were a few instances of people who weren't able to speak up on the twitter spaces just because they were listen only because um they just don't want to create a twitter account.

Man 20 minutes in talking about twitter and discord, fun, fun.

Gonna be a long virus like that all right, uh yeah thanks for everyone for jumping in, I think uh kind of communities, kind of aligned on the you know how we think we can both leverage, the twitter spaces and the discord so yeah stay tuned next week. Is elevator, so I think I think I got the message um yeah. So let me find some um some updated numbers here. We go so tomorrow, um we're hoping to publish the final.

uh The final update on the report regarding the appeals regarding the final distribution numbers and then opening up donation claims, uh but before uh before we get to that, I. What I can share today is um some accumulated numbers for season two. So we had uh as matching funds. 888 888 um donated the matching pool from the enf.

We also had 125 000, donated from the enf, in the form of direct uh contributions to projects that did apply on pomelo and we'll we'll talk a bit about those uh later on. um If you're following the enf twitter, you would have noticed that they did doubt today, uh which grants got these extra contributions. uh Grant fees from season, one amounted to just under 3 200 each.

So when you do a donation in a season of mellow, there's a certain percentage that is withheld and donated to the matching pool of the next season and that's kind of an anti-stable mechanism.

A

Defense mechanism, that's implemented um the uh dot, jam's nft sales, which sold out generated five thousand eos primary sale, so that's being donated to the matching pools as well, and the community was able to donate 000 through donations on the platform. So you know at a price of one point: three dollars: you deeper eos, that's a total matching of 770 000, eos and overall 1.17 million dollars that has been distributed to teams that are actively building on eos.

um So I think that's great and gonna give all of the community and the promo team and everyone who participated a big round of applause. I think it was a big success and um we are planning for season three, so stay tuned for more updates on pomelo. Of course, all right, I'm gonna! Oh.

um Yeah dan I was just going to hopefully daniel could just speak, but I believe all of the grant matching funding it will be claimable tomorrow, so there will be an announcement from the pamela team, blog post, announcing some of the information and everyone who's been waiting on their their grant. Matching funds will be able to do so with the claims tomorrow.

All right uh so yeah, yeah, uh exciting day tomorrow, is going to be the day to claim matching barring any unforeseen. Last minute um appeals that throw a wrench into the situation needed extra time or anything like that.

But as far as we can see, looks like we're on track um tomorrow at noon eastern time, the my little team is going to have one last kind of go no-go call to press the button essentially to make matching funds claimable, um so anybody who's eligible to claim matching funds, you'll get an email um with directions on how to claim. uh If you don't get the email you can find you'll find it in your pomelo profile in your settings.

uh There'll be a link to complete your kyc. If you haven't done that already, if you did kyc in season, one should be good to go for season two. uh If you're new to season two, you will have to go through the kyc process and as soon as you've gone through, that you'll be able to claim your funds and that's going to include both your matching allocation from pomelo season.

Two as well as if, if you were one of the grants who received direct uh contributions from the enf, that's also going to be there for you to claim. At the same time,.

We we posted the tweet today uh just to get those communications out uh before tomorrow, because we knew the pomelo uh blog post was coming um so the direct contributions we announced them. I think, before the season even started, um they were done separate from the quadratic funding, so none of those direct contributions from the enf uh contributed or detracted from everyone's grant matching from the traditional pamela using the quadratic funding.

um I also wanted to kind of stipulate I wrote a reply uh to the tweet, so it's kind of like a thread of how we actually came up with those numbers, um because, obviously we wanted to spread out the decision making. So it wasn't just me eve or brandon coming up with with the numbers and the way I fairly simple. Well, there's 125 000.

We spread it out amongst multiple team members like monopoly money and on a spreadsheet. um We basically just plugged away a couple hundred dollars here, a couple thousand dollars there and over time uh we I think we spent over two hours, two or three hours on a call debating everything and pitching. Why we're contributing to certain things, that's kind of how we came up with the numbers, and I could only speak for me personally of what I was looking for, and maybe ted eve or uh brennan could speak on on their own behalf.

But I was personally looking for projects that I I thought were high value but underappreciated, um so they weren't going to get um a lot of matching funds so tip. I don't think I made any personal. I didn't make any contributions to anything that was already set to receive like over ten thousand dollars. For example, there were there were some projects that that got very little love that I thought should have gotten more love and also I like to put my own personal focus into some of the developer tooling.

So I, the assembly script, one stood out to me. um I kind of gotta pull up some of them, but that that was my personal criteria. If anyone else wants to speak on, there's also, uh I see lars is on this call.

I I I think me and brandon uh really saw a lot of value in the immutable, realms eos arts and culture zine, because it's it's a form of communication uh to kind of tell the eo's story and what's happening in eos, and I I think lars is a very, very talented uh artist and I think this could kind of take off and kind of take on a life of its own and then in future pamela seasons.

I think it'll get plenty of uh community contributions, but I think it's one of those things where you kind of got to see it to believe it first. So I wanted to, and and brandon also wanted to kind of make sure that that got off the ground to have a very, very professional zine.

um The java sdk was important to me. The eos is snark libraries. um So that's what I was looking for. I think eve could probably speak for himself, but he was uh mentioning looking at the gaming projects and the game fi. I think I contributed to some of those uh maurices, the lost diamond, I think lost diamonds even on this call, um but that's what I was looking for.

Personally, uh korean eden, um eo san diego, who is a lot of times on these fireside, chats, wanted to give him some love because he's just been a dedicated community member forever.

um I I I come see mata, but I know he has a real name. It's slipping my mind right now, but the liquid bible, the sdks for game development, were super important. I think I I threw uh some decent weight on that one, but that's how I was done. It was quite fun because, like I said it was kind of like I don't know, monopoly money, but it like really really helped benefit um a lot of the palmello grant.

um Proposers um who didn't get the support that I wish that they would have from the um quadratic funding, and I I that it was it kind of served as a backstop and an insurance policy to make sure that these projects that have a lot of potential now have a little bit of runway to get off the ground and to show what they could do with with a little bit and then in future seasons. We'll be able to use this as a reputation system, because that's really what pomelo is is it's a reputation system?

You give projects or people a little bit see what they could do with it and when they come back, maybe they can get a little bit more and then, after that, maybe go to the direct grant funding route through github and just continue supporting projects that are adding and creating value to the es ecosystem.

Yeah things I covered covered a lot there yeah for my, for my sake, I don't have much to add to that other than like. This is just a great opportunity to um add, like an extra layer of discovery that I think, um like attention has spread so thin, and it's it's uh nice to be able to um identify and um elevate those projects that may have been. You know not not brought up to the level that they they need to be at in order to to get where they're trying to go with their vision.

Yeah, I was so I'd echo what um both zach and brandon said. I know that part of my criteria, which were pretty much what zach said with a few extra things.

um I did look at who had participated in the fireside chat, weekly pitches, basically, who came about and tried to engage with the community and uh really tried to explain what they were working on and uh some of them had been coming here on a weekly basis and such and so to to maybe be more inviting to those people that perhaps hadn't gotten quite a lot, because they're they're a little bit smaller in terms of of team or community outreach, but that they were making an effort and that they had a solid idea.

Obviously, the other thing that I looked at was in a lot of the pitches. You had some teams that mentioned or individuals that mentioned. You know a particular goal, a particular target that they were trying to go towards and very similar to zach those that you can note in the list there. There are very few of them that actually had raised a lot of money, and so we, I did filter out a lot that if you'd already received- or you were already set to receive in matching 30 40 50 000.

um I I tried to not focus on those, but I did go despite that.

I did go, look at all of them and look at what they were going to receive, potentially at the time of when we were doing this exercise in terms of matching and how far off were they to their stated goals, for example, and so for some people it was just a question of giving a little top up um so that they could reach the the goals that they'd set out, that they said they needed in order to be able to produce x, y or z.

So I did add that in my criteria and the third thing that I added that zach didn't mention was uh you'll note in their projects that came from another ecosystem that I have um deployed on eos since we started either the merge, the the the creation of the evm or um since I guess the network has uh somewhat changed in terms of narratives and branding, and it has become a little bit more inviting.

I went to go look at which projects were attempting to come in and build a new home on eos and didn't necessarily get much traction. And so I tried to disperse some there as well.

And I just want to mention uh his name is corvin see matt. I see here on the call I apologize, um so I I think this is a good exercise of what we did, how we went through every single project analyzed and thought deeply, and I I've said this many of times, but this is one of the biggest value ads that I see um from eden uh using the the election system to to choose the delegates, um some of them only like the lowest level we're receiving around 100 eos per month.

But that's plenty uh whenever you factor in the quadratic funding, because the more people that we have in the eos community who act as these proxies, who are able to identify projects that they see value in the the better it's going to be for the ecosystem. um Obviously, these direct funds that enf did didn't count towards the quadratic funding, but through through the eden system. uh Those are all kind of fair game. Like the funding is already there for eden, it's got the treasury and they they kind of, have the option of do.

I want to spend a hundred eos on myself or do I want to create a pomelo proposal and try to attract eos that way and 100 eos could easily turn into a thousand years just from the quadratic uh funding and matching. So I I think we did see a lot of that. I don't have any actual data of how many contributions came from eden. Delegate accounts compared to um just other accounts, but I would imagine if we did have that statistic that would be it'd be quite high in uh both of the elections.

But um I see that as being a good purpose and it was a good exercise on our end to see, I guess, the the the time requirements of going through every single proposal, comparing like looking at how much they've already earned to see if you think that they should get even more and it was a tedious process, but not that tedious so couple hours, and I I think it was time well spent and I'm looking forward to seeing the results of pomelo season. Two not just from the direct contributions, though, but from.

I think, a lot more. Obviously, a lot more capital was contributed through the quadratic matching, um but I also want to point out that this is an awesome opportunity for the community because of the current state of the market, uh the fact that the eos price is so low, along with uh the rest of the crypto markets.

C

There is a immense upside to uh these grants uh having even more runway depending on which way the market turns. I obviously have no way of knowing what that's going to do, um but I think the price that was locked in for this was uh eve. Do you know the price off the top of your head? What it was matched at like a dollar 30. today.

131.6 um but yeah, so it's about a 10x for every uh just you. You asked about stats a little bit, so it's about 10x so for every dollar donated that was nine dollars matched, and so your one dollar actually brought ten dollars um in total uh and then in terms of the the um rate that it was locked in. Unless that changes I was locked in this morning at 131.6, and so the amount of eos that is being uh sent in total is roughly roughly seven hundred thousand eos.

I just don't have the or a little bit yeah a little bit more than that seven hundred eighty thousand.

um And so it's quite high right um uh it uh because eos is so low right now, like zach said, there's, there's a tremendous upside potential, it'll be interesting to see who holds on to the eos uh and who uh doesn't and uh whether or not that impacts uh the runway for the teams and and what they do with those funds.

uh Just to add something daniel, so one way that I see this is um uh in pomelo. uh Through this, um this initiative, essentially uh developers and community members, are able to get equity in the network and if they, if they're, able to do proper asset management whatever that means.

So it's obviously very different for every team you're able to get a share of equity in the network through the means of eos, and if you believe that the the the eos valuation will grow because of initiatives such as this and you hold on to your eos, then you've got a larger share, essentially in the network, in terms of fiat valuation and we've seen historically through season season, one of pomelo, but also the recognition grants that many teams decided to hold on to the eos, and that is really indicative of people that see value and future of the within the network itself.

But the other thing to mention um that I think zach kind of touched upon as well is at some point. Pomelo will have the functionality of uh having I'm not sure what the name will be and daniel you can chime in. But this idea that I'll.

First, we're not going to have collections for season three, but what we do have already something that I'm already doing today when I'm shopping for grants I want to donate to I I look at the grants and I pull up the contributors tab and you get this like all the avatars of all the people who have donated to the grant and you notice some of like the popular ones with the email you'll see like all these eden member bet faces on the ones that are well supported by eden members and then the you know, others that have none.

um That's one of the when I'm shopping for grants that can help you kind of oh, these are the ones that eden members support and maybe that's something you weigh in your decision when you're deciding who to donate to uh yeah.

I was just going to say it really reinforces as well the overlap between the the currently three different functioning mechanisms that exist and how really they're all trust platforms and how they can leverage off of each other and amplify each other um to be able to lower the barrier of where or how funds should be distributed by um different means. So different governance methods um to be able to showcase where there is overlap, whether it's inevitable or where there's obvious overlap between the different governance mechanisms that um that feed or that fuel.

These three separate funnels and where you see that overlap, I think, is where we'll see the greatest value being created.

One of the challenges with luna in general- I guess or inviting uh people over- is the completely different code base.

uh They are not evm compatible in I'm not even sure if this makes sense, but in the traditional sense uh and really um they're completely different in terms of of tech stack, and so it's not as easy, there's very little overlap. So we would require a lot of basically building from.

Scratch doug in the tech chat has asked for a second time here regarding auntie. When I what I talked about regarding the anti-semital measure, um I think it's 10 of each donation that is held for the next season's matching pool. So if you try to attack pomelo, you know you, you create a bunch of fake accounts, you donate to yourself a bunch of times well at least, and you get caught. Then your donations are not counted towards the matching pool.

You also lose 10 of uh you know all the money you use to try to attack pomelo because that's now being donated to the next season. So that's why I mentioned earlier.

It for uh pomelo um what I'd like to learn more about now is the token 2049 singapore sponsorship that the enf announced last weekend. I've yeah I've been busy dealing with uh with some storm fallouts. I haven't been able to keep up with the community this week as much as I I used to. I usually do uh so zach. Could you share some more information about that sponsorship? What it's all about so.

I mean I'm happy to talk about it, so one of the things that eos has lacked, since probably the token sale ended from block one was as soon as block one finished, a token sale. It was kind of like they stopped having a presence at uh the global events that are attended by the rest of the blockchain ecosystem uh through 2018 and 2019. There were some eos community events which were great because they're very eocentric, but they didn't necessarily open doors to other ecosystems.

um Eosio is also kind of a different uh technology than what what's uh common out there and we have the the trustee vm, which is on test nets and we'll be going live in september or october.

C

So, with with the trust, evm, uh there's an opportunity to onboard many many many new projects, teams or even new teams from other ecosystems into the eos ecosystem. So knowing that we wanted to have a physical presence in the wider blockchain ecosystem, anyway, we needed to kind of find the perfect event to really um showcase to the rest of the world.

C

What we've been working on for the past at this point nine months, but by then it'll, be one year exactly so it'll kind of be the one year anniversary of the enf, so that also factored in um so finding that event and one this will not be the only event that eos will have a presence at. So I just want to make a note of that that, just because we announced token 2049 this week, it does not mean it's the only event.

We're planning to have a presence at and or sponsor um it's just the first and it's going to be um part of the strategy. Moving forward is having a presence at these um larger events and uh eventually we'll be able to start doing satellite events at the larger conferences, so the blockchain weeks, so whether it be singapore, korea, consensus like typically whenever you have these blockchain week, type events. It's usually the main conference is a two or three day event. But then a lot of the action happens in the evenings.

There's all of these different satellite events happening where there might be like an nft theme or a web 3 theme or gaming theme or whatnot, or an eos theme, for example, um and that's eventually where I would like to go with um these. This presence at the conferences is eventually um increase, awareness enough and attract enough engagement where we could in community a community growth, would be big enough, that we could do not only a conference sponsorship or a sponsor or conference presence, but also be running a satellite event.

On top of that, um since at this point in time, I'm not confident that we could run an eos satellite event. That'd be well attended, and even if we did, it would probably be a lot of the same people on this call. You guys, unfortunately, are not the target audience. We need to grow the eos community significantly.

So what we did was we worked strategically with token 2049. We let them know like we're serious and asked what kind of options that they had and because we weren't going to um be running our own satellite events. We instead piggybacked on the closing party event, which is kind of the big blow-off at the end of the conference, where everyone's going to be at and that's kind of where we wanted to make our mark. So that's um we're the drinks and entertainment sponsor for the closing event, so we're basically going to have signage all.

Throughout this event, the drinks it'll be announced over the loudspeakers throughout the event that this event is being sponsored by the eos network foundation and at the closing party, we'll have our own little private area, that'll be a little bit quieter than in the main area. Where, if we want to have some more serious conversations, we will have an area to go to where we we pretty much, have our own champagne, open area and it's to get business done um on.

On top of that, we will have a 190 square foot booth in a prime location in the exhibition hall so likely whenever you first walk into the exhibition hall, which will have over 100 other vendors there uh in one of the prime locations front and center will be our booth still in the early planning phases of what what that's going to look like as far as features we've got some really cool ideas that tie into the the theming and the branding of the formula.

One race that'll be happening that same week weekend um but we'll be showcasing. The trustee vm we'll be showcasing eosio under its new brand, which uh will be out in the next uh few weeks or pray tomorrow, but publicly we'll see so we'll be showcasing. This new, whatever eos io's name, becomes that'll, be a big showcase of our booth, uh passing all information telling our story.

So a lot of people like we have an incredible story that that we've built over the last eight nine months of how the community kind of took control of this chain and kicked this corporate juggernaut out because it wasn't um fulfilling its promises and doing the things that were expected of it um and and we're seeing that story being told more and more through through third-party media like the the wired article and that that's just the first of what I expect to be many. Many more uh that follow up on that.

um But having an opportunity to be on the main stage and tell that story um will be an interesting opportunity. So it's not announced yet, and but I will tell you guys on this call. We will have the questions. Not if we'll have speaker a speaker on the main stage. It's how many and once we have the answer to that. Once it's all finalized. We will.

We will share that in the topics and things like that, um but being able to tell our story to the wider blockchain ecosystem and also having a presence, because whenever you see signage for eos at this event, the very first question everyone's going to be asking is, I thought eos was dead. What what the hell is this and then we're gonna have they're gonna walk into the exhibition hall. They're gonna see our booth front and center they're gonna come they're.

Gonna want to want to come talk and want to know like what's been going on, it'll, be an opportunity to tell our story at this point. We've built up nine months of of um reference or uh reputation, there's a laundry list of uh media that that's been covering us from the breakup with from the launch of the nf to the breakup, with block one to all of the grants and funding opportunities available in the eos ecosystem.

All of that's going to be showcased front and center. It's going to be a highlight where uh also as part of being a title sponsor, um obviously get to tap into their email lists and email. Marketing they've got an email list of over 60 000, uh unique emails of people who have attended previous conferences um and also uh being a title sponsor, uh gets us invited to uh the vip events. So the events that only other keynote speakers are invited to or other title sponsors are invited to. uh We will have uh access to that.

So it'll be a closed, knit uh kind of happy hours um that are only attended by the people that we want to be talking to. That eos has not had um a lot of access to over the last couple of years uh that that's large vcs, that's other projects to potentially collaborate and other, like top developers in the ecosystem. Who would happen to be keynote speakers, so just unlimited opportunities.

This will be the first big event. We may be having a presence at events prior to that, but not not in as big of a way as we're going to have for token 2049, and I I don't anticipate token 2049 will be the last one. I think before that event even happens, uh we'll probably have multiple other events, that'll kind of be public on the the road map. By then of where we'll have a big presence, um but even even beyond having a title sponsor, we don't need to title sponsor every event.

What we do need to do, though, is have a physical presence at every uh major event, so boots on the ground. People to have these conversations be able to make these connections, and I I think that that's another area where the evm is going to present an excellent opportunity of collaboration, because the code already exists on on a lot of these other chains and it's a very simple and easy migration.

um So I'm I'm super excited. I think it's going to lead to a lot of business development opportunities, and it's not like these conversations are only going to start at the event so from a biz dev standpoint we'll be poking and pinging people that we want to talk to at the event before the event, uh so getting the intro emails out, pinging them on linkedin.

However, whatever it takes hey, I I know you're going to be at token2049, let's schedule a meeting, even I've already discussed this eve like we have to man the booth, because we have an exhibition booth. So we have to have people there at all times, but eve explaining he's like when I go to conferences, I don't I don't want to have time to eat. I just want to have meetings all day long.

Every half hour needs to be booked with a different business or developer potential collaborator and that that's the goal for this event and other events is to book meetings. Make connections make friends, because that's something that eos has not done a very good job with over the last several years. But it's it's a trend. That's going to start this year and it's going to continue in perpetuity as long as the enf exists and isn't empowered by the eos token orders.

Definitely deserves uh an applause, um so it sounds like you'll be joining sounds like eve is going to be joining the event as well. Is there anyone else from the enf that is scheduled to be there or anyone else from the community that wants to share that they'll? Be there as well.

Confirmed no, uh but yes, other people in this call looking around may be there. uh We need to finalize that list and book like this. A lot of it got finalized over the last two or so weeks.

um So it became a lot more real, uh we're still determining who exactly will be in attendance, but so, for example, um some of the enf board and some members from the trustee vm team, especially on the technical side, to be able to explain um how everything's working underneath the hood, because a lot of the onboarding efforts will be for uh evm.

uh It was brought up that we have um a new director of developer relations, so that would probably be a good person to be there, because that ties into the eos io onboarding strategy. So it's not just evm and solidity projects. We also have this great eosio building at the base layer technology.

So having someone very knowledgeable on that there um I I. I think this would be a better question answer in another. Maybe two weeks three weeks uh have all that finalized and we could start naming names, but I do want to have um obviously more than it'll be more than just even I I would imagine. We'd have a crew of eight to 12 people depending on um another sponsorship. That's still pending.

We have a nice logo, visibility in the background, so as the camera's panning for all of the other keynotes you at least get that eos logo, and I I think, like I said I think, the biggest thing it's it's going to be a head scratcher for some people, because eos has been quiet for a while, and this is going it's going to um stir up some questions and that's exactly what we want is we want to stir up conversation.

We want people to scratch the surface, because as soon as you scratch the surface on eos and see the the avalanche of activity, that's been happening over the last eight nine months. I I think it's going to overwhelm people, um but it's a first touch point and that that's what I'm focused on is the top of the funnel uh and working on um working their way down. To get to the point where they're joining these fireside chats every week.

Yeah they they they have a. I mean you can find it on youtube for other previous conferences, so they had a hiatus because of covid, as did every other global conference, but they did do a they. They did a london event uh in 2021, so that was their first time back since 2019 so and then they also have a token 2049 london event in november, which I I think were likely to be there also um but um yeah on their youtube.

You could see all of the previous keynotes from the last several years uh block one actually had a major sponsorship in 2018 during the ico, of course. So it was interesting that whenever we had this intro call with them.

The guy started off with telling me about uh asking about how brendan's doing and things like that, and I had to kind of set him straight and be like um so there's been some changes since you probably last talked to anyone from eos, because this was uh april, 2009 or 18 that this happened, but um he enjoyed the story uh was very surprised and it just was another reminder of.

We have this story to tell it's not out there as much as it can be, and we're going to continue to let the world know that this is trimbot's words. This is the new eos. This is not the odios. This is the new eos and we're gonna. We're gonna show everyone.

No, no, so that that's that's another confusing thing is: I saw that brought up in telegram uh block one's logo is on the token 2049 website, but so it because they're, a previous sponsor, 2018., um there's other logos there, they're just kind of making their event feel big. By putting logos there from previous sponsors, I saw a consensus. Logo consensus. Isn't a sponsor isn't on the uh partners list for the event uh etoro's logo? Is there also they're, not at the event? So it's just anyone who is a previous speaker sponsor.

I saw charles hoskinson's picture on the website, but he's not listed as a speaker at this particular event. So the reason block one's logo. There is not because they're sponsoring this event, uh not that they couldn't, I guess, but they aren't. I I've confirmed that they're not, um but that's why their logo is theirs because they sponsored in 2018 and they probably just haven't updated that graphic and since probably they kicked things back off since covid.

um All right, let's, uh let's move on to another topic, the eosioplus coalition rfps for faster finality and wallet sdks.

Well, I I one of them is for wallet sdks as an rfp, so origen, uh one of the core developers behind ux network, who is a coalition member. They stated publicly on the twitter thread that they will be applying or putting a bid in for the faster finality.

So maybe we could take this opportunity. Aaron is grey mass going to be applying for the wallet sdk rfp.

I think it's pretty safe to say yes.

I've written multiple iterations of that. What's one more.

Yes, I'm excited so that's already a candidate on each proposal uh more than qualified. um I don't know if anyone's going to compete with grey mass or or apply for the wallet sek, but for the faster finality. I do think that there might be multiple proposals, but only one has been made public so far and that's the whole point behind this rfp system is: it creates a competitive bid landscape.

um I saw dan made a made a tweet reply, saying like there's only three teams that could fulfill these bids, enf, oci and fractally, and that totally ignored aaron's team, which is very talented.

C

They wrote the wallet sdk like proposal in the blue paper and then origen came out publicly and said that they're applying for faster finality and they're they're, not one of the teams mentioned, um but it creates a competitive bid landscape because, ideally, in an ideal ecosystem, there's multiple teams that can compete for the work which, which means that everyone kind of has to compete on price. They have to compete on uh milestones and deliverables of what they'll actually uh create uh with their bids.

So I think, creates a very healthy ecosystem and yes um in the initial couple of uh rfps that go out, maybe there are only one or two teams that are capable of bidding on them, but even having two teams creates a competitive landscape, but there's so many rfps um that are going to come out that eventually everyone's going to be busy building core eosio protocol or sdks on top of eosio protocol.

So at a certain point, there's going to be a saturation where that's where the opportunities are going to open up for any other enterprising uh team developer. Engineer who wants to take on these bids um on today's blog update that we we posted a few hours ago for the eosio plus coalition.

It even outlines all of the top priorities of the proposals. I'll drop the um link in the the stream, it's probably already in discord yeah. So there there's a list of 20, plus uh 20 different uh proposals that have uh been made a priority out of the eosio plus coalition and you're, going to start seeing more and more rfps. These rfps take time to compile and write the scope of and publish so there's.

Obviously, a little bit of overhead to get each one of them out, but you can see at least the the bullet point list of what the 20 top priorities are. So if, if you're, if, if you're an engineer or affiliated with with a team of engineers- and you, you see a specific feature that you think that you're capable of uh putting a bid in on even though the rfp is not out yet like start inquiring of like when, is it going to come out and start talking about it publicly?

Like put your name on the radar, because I know there's other teams out there, that could do some of this work and this bidding process will help us identify who those teams are and be able to um create paid, fulfilling work for all kinds of developers in in this ecosystem. Not just the ones on on this call.

For the eos or for the coalition is dab development, something on your guys's radar because for us at challenge dac we're, we're already running eos and then we're running telos too, and we could add support for the other two chains also, but is that something that is that you guys are focusing on right now? Is that something that would help the ecosystem if adap ran all four chains?

Out of that's way outside of scope for the coalition, the coalition focuses on um the core protocol, the the the software that all public chains have in common. um So so functionally like that.

Did someone say that we already shared the link? It has all of the core features uh in the the blog post from today and it's kind of outside of the scope of dap development. It it's there's certain things that help with dap development, for example, the wallet sdk uh that that and mentioned they'll be uh putting a bid on that will help dap developers it'll, make it easier to develop uh applications to deploy on eosio chains, including eos, but, um like specific dapps, would be out of scope. You you for specific adapts.

They would need to apply for grant funding through whatever means each particular chain has like wax, has kind of like a worker, a wps system and you could apply through their fund or a company. uh Talos has a couple different means of applying for funding. Enf obviously has we have pomelo with eos, and then we have the direct grant framework. So if you're, a dap, you're more or less better off applying through each chain and seeing what opportunities those chains have for dapps.

um But as far as the coalition's concerned, the coalition's only focused on on core protocol and kind of like the layer right above that which is like the sdks and and the tooling around the protocol.

All right, um okay, cool moving on is drew still with us. I think he he is um drew was one of the authors for uh the article that was published last week called an introduction to subjective billing and loss transactions.

So if you want to give us a quick rundown on what that was all about um we'd appreciate it drew.

Sure thing: uh can you hear me all right, yeah, coming in clear cool, um so yeah uh myself with help from matthew darwin, as well as others uh put together this article on subjective billing? It's uh first of a series. The remaining ones will outline kind of how to fix issues as well as uh sort of the new improvements that are coming in uh mandel, um but I guess I'll just go over what subjective billing is real, quick?

It's essentially the way that nodes individually keep track of failed transactions because failed transactions don't automatically go into the blockchain, um or rather the billing for failed transactions. Do not go into the blockchain, so subjective billing allows individual nodes to keep track of that and it fixed issues with. uh Essentially, people were taking advantage of the free resource of failed transactions, and so they're, just thousands and thousands it was preventing uh transactions from making it into blocks. Some blocks were just completely empty.

um That was, I think, uh late 2019, something like that, but subjective billing largely fixed the issue, but unfortunately it also sometimes causes very difficult to discover issues with lost transactions, so the article was really kind of exploring subjective billing. In more detail, and also looking at the cause behind why subjective billing can cause lost transactions? Essentially it's just um some nodes on the way from the api node to the block producer. Node will just drop transactions um because of the subjective, billing and that'll.

uh If enough nodes, or rather very specific nodes along the propagation path, um are subjectively billing and just drop the transactions, then it won't make its way to the blockchain and it's very difficult to find, because you won't get a uh an error uh response, you're, just gonna sort of all of a sudden.

You look and the transaction's not on the chain, um so in in the uh we also uh gave a couple of recommendations.

um Just uh we're gonna go into more detail in the next article, but basically, looking at what node operators can do, um there are various the nodeos options that you can use to mitigate the issue. um People running cloud nodes can sort of structure the the state data differently in order to improve it, and then there's also a recommendation for uh smart contract developers, um which I I I would uh open input from.

Anyone who has opinions on this, because uh this is uh my whole job- is to research and then communicate, uh but uh it had some uh recommendations to uh assert or check earlier in a contract so that if it causes the transaction to fail, you don't get as much subjective billing and also a recommendation for some functions. You might be able to replace an assert or a check function with a a return statement.

um So uh if that's that's sort of an overview of the article and of sort of where, where we're going to go from there.

So, as many of you may know, there was a lot of chatter this weekend regarding some of the things that dan said. um Like I said earlier, I wasn't able to keep up with the with the community this weekend, um so I'm not. I wasn't able to read all the messages, but um you know from what I understand fractally is considering launching their own chain.

I think this was brought up last week as well on the fire side and uh so they're con considering launching their own chain. You know people uh you know had the discussion of whether dan lammers leaving eos. Is that good? Is that bad? Is he actually leaving eos?

So I don't know if some of you here have a bit more information than me. You want to share your thoughts share. Your comments uh feel free to uh yeah, open up the mic and share some thoughts.

I could share some thoughts. I don't have any privileged information or anything, but um I can just share what my sense is go for it.

uh So my sense is there's stuff that fractally wants to do that requires or maybe doesn't require, but uh they they just want. Some changes on the base layer and it seems like my sense, is that they're planning on using eosi or mandel or whatever the rebrand is software and to have some means for uh inner chain communication, whether that's uh liquidity pools like as outlined in the white paper or some other kind of native cross cross-chain communication.

um The intention, as I understand, is to build something um using whatever chain characteristics they need and then try and connect that one thing to keep in mind is that uh fractally, because the respect tokens are um kind of uh I the the way it's put. Is that they're an opinion um the community can sort of take them away or give them sort of according to consensus?

And so the uh let's see the the fractally token is unlikely to be a sort of base level um like currency, because of that, because it's not the same sense of uh ownership that uh a normal token bitcoin has or something like that, and so I see it as sort of intel intimately intimately connected to eos because of the um liquidity pool and the shared code base um and then just essentially a side chain.

Excuse me a side chain sort of like uh boyd or ux or any one of those other um chains, but just with different parameters. That's just my kind of understanding from afar. So I I I don't have any like uh that. I I'm not part of the fractally team or anything like that that this is just my sense based on um following it.

I thought that might be helpful to add on to that. um So one is that I've been participating and andrew was also there as well, and probably several people on this call. um I've been participating in the frackley on eos brainstorming sessions. Also, I see dwayne is here as well. He was there um and we've been meeting every week for the past.

I don't know almost three months now I mean on mondays and everybody's welcome to join, but basically the general goal of these. uh These brainstorming sessions has been, to you know, figure out some good way to build frankly on eos and empower eos with fractal governance um and during the most recent conversation we had monday, which, right after the after the news broke- uh or I don't know if news broke- is the right way to say it. But after there was lots of comments in the telegram channel, um we shared some thoughts about this.

That's on that's recorded it's on patrick's nova, crypto channel, so uh so anybody can listen to them for the first, probably 20 minutes or so we discussed this and people shared some really interesting insights.

We heard from amani heinz, who uh is a great developer in eos, he's also very active in factly, and he he spoke about how it makes sense because, like there are a lot of different kind of technical things that the frankly team is aiming to do that doesn't um totally align with the technical um with the I don't know, technical vision or just the technical attributes of eos and then doug wu also shared some thoughts too.

My personal thoughts are like, I think that it it makes sense in a lot of ways, because the faculty team does want certain features, and um you know, developers and eos also have different preferences for different features. uh So it can be helpful.

I see joshua posted that it can be the best for both uh both eos and frankly, and I agree with that- I think that uh I think fractally and like practical governance and a lot of the principles uh and the tools they're working on with correctly are super super hopeful and super valuable and I'm looking forward to sharing with you more with the community. We've been participating with rackley for 11 weeks now, and the news hasn't really been shared very much, uh but there's a lot of amazing things that are happening.

So I'm looking forward to sharing it, and um I think I think that, while frankly is building.

I think that, while frankly he's building a new chain for this, um that it will still very much empower eos um and that eos has an opportunity, like I think, uh james mart and joshua seymour talked about how like eos, has like the ultimate alpha for what's going on with reckley right now, because there's many eos community members who are really excited about it.

um And actually this morning um we are on a meeting that joshua sheen has been hosting for moving eden forward, where we were discussing um plans to start fractal meetings, weekly fractal meetings for eden, community members, where even community members can meet every week and use the factory process and earn eos. We were talking about maybe doing like 100 years per week and also uh eating respect as well. So that's kind of what I've been talking for a while, but I figured it was just helpful to share uh those that conversation on on the nova.

Crypto channel has some interesting perspectives from some great community leaders about this and then um yeah. I'm also looking forward to sharing more and uh talking more about the eden fractal stuff. We've been talking about soon that, uh if anybody's interested in discussing that um we're meeting every man every wednesday at, I believe, 13 utc um and it's super exciting stuff, and I hope that all made sense feel free. If anything, I said, didn't make sense there to. Let me know I'm happy to clarify.

In the chat here says that the way it's going, eos can easily take advantage of the open source code he'll be releasing for fractally and adopt the features that most benefit the community yeah. That totally makes sense to me um what I kind of like about this proposal is that it does kind of give the steps and kind of a road map for fractally to be implemented on eos. Eventually, if factory can become uh successful, you know on its own chain.

So a lot of the questions that you know I had when I first learned practicing like how do we go from the current situation on eos, a situation where, frankly, controls 11 block producers and all these other things, and there was not really any steps in between uh so maybe these. This is part of you know that process of figuring out the steps in between and um yeah thanks to to everyone who shared uh shared their thoughts with us today. um If anyone else wants to jump in, of course, you're very welcome to do so.

Yeah I'd like to add um so it is pretty exciting um participating in in the fractale meetings and then now starting to see that we're we're working on uh integrating that with eden and so um yeah. I think it's just the best of both worlds. uh We're gonna have community members who are participating in both and and bringing trying to bridge the gap um to make sure that we all win.

So um you know I know at first there's a lot of initial like backlash at dan and and people are upset, but I think once people start to understand that this is probably just the best um best for everybody, so everyone kind of be in control of of their initiatives and what they're doing um it just pushes us all forward and it's definitely pretty exciting and so for those who are in eden and want to get involved with the fractally method.

I encourage you guys to um uh you know, come over to our discord and and see what's going on with eden, because I think eden's gonna start to really kick off, because one one of the biggest things that uh you'll notice is like uh this eos fireside chat is really good.

For our community, because it's reaching it's giving the the whole community a a weekly event to attend to, and so then there's a sense of of, uh like I mean we're growing as a community like we, where you have relationships that start to grow and with fractally meeting every single week, those relationships are getting stronger, and so now you know instead of waiting every election to have one event for eden. Now we're planning on doing this uh week more weekly events and that just further strengthens the community because now you're having more interactions and yeah.

The us community, like five months ago or so and he's just been like everywhere, he's been a lot of actually meeting, so it's been great, getting to know him and he's doing really cool work, um and then I was also going to add too, if it's okay, to what uh felix was saying that during the meeting uh this morning, we were discussing uh well felix and I have been talking a lot about um doing uh um eden, town halls with bywire and so and we're doing this every sunday, uh as felix mentioned, I think 16 utc and I think we're aiming in discord, and that might be one of the discussion topics for you know discussing the eden fractal uh as well as other as well as other topics that the community is interested in speaking about and then also just to respond to what stephan was saying briefly about like small steps.

I completely agree like I think that the first faculty proposal, like there's a big ruckus, because there are so many like big kind of asks and so forth, um but what jesse uh and patrick have been doing and working to and and I've also been participating in as well as many other people like doug and duane and so forth, uh have been just like trying to work on a proposal to find like some way to have a gradual easing into uh helping to empower eos with fractally.

um So we've making a lot of great progress there, which is great and then also. I think that this idea for um doing the eden fractal as well and starting small with like say, like 100, eos prizes and like that every week. um That's something that doesn't cost very much, uh but can be a great way to bring the community together and also uh inspire people to work together. More and then a lot of great things can come out of that and uh and provide some incentives.

Then we can gradually scale it up as it makes sense and and as it feels right.

um So I think I I read something uh to that effect this weekend or last few days in the eos chat on telegram and uh zach did confirm that that is uh on the roadmap. So this week we're getting the usio rebrand uh potential names they're going to be discussed tomorrow on the eosio plus coalition call.

uh So, as always, enf is going to be publishing that call, however, uh what we're probably going to do, like I mentioned last week, we're going to cut out the section where they're discussing names we're going to publish the rest of the call on its own, and then we may publish an edited uh or censored version of that um that discussion for the brand, so the esio rebrand is well underway. We shouldn't see more of the potential options uh in the coming weeks.

I imagine and then um eventually you know that the eos pre-brand as well is still something in the plan, although I'm not sure on the timeline. For that.

I'm so excited to say something because I'm just so excited about everything that's going on, and um you know I I'm pretty new to eos.

I still feel very much new, yet I'm probably like privy to a lot of the cutting edge stuff, because I do my best to just keep up with everything that I can and participate as much as I can and I'm having an absolutely wonderful experience and I'm really excited where everything's at and as far as uh you know, we have a team we're the first team, I'm part of the first team that formed on frankly other than the fractality team itself.

It's called the eos translation foundation and it became very well and apparent clear to us in this team that our heart is just as much an eos as it is in fractally and we even went as far as naming ourselves, the us translation foundation and fractally, which is sort of funny. If you ask me, but I often question whether the contributions I'm making supports fractally or eos and whatever- and I honestly don't care it's like I'm of the mindset. If I can create value.

If I can help someone, if I can do something that contributes to whatever ecosystem or community, I'm part of that's great and I'm just going to keep shooting from the hip and to see where this goes and uh to let you all know, I actually got roped in by a game developer and in helping helping them out. I'm someone that I met through the eos community.

That's somewhat distance from the us community right now and my latest thought and the latest thing I've been up to is exploring different twitter spaces outside of the eos ecosystem, which I found hugely valuable to me, because I didn't really know anything about crypto or blockchain technology till january this year, and I just dove straight in and been non-stop just digesting information.

You know, I don't know if any of you follow some of the stuff on telegram, but I'm I've got a group called how to node or eos how to know about apis and uh servers and block production, because I heard all these problems with api services and yada yada, and so after I started listening to some of these twitter spaces.

The tara luna event created a situation where a lot of these communities are all talking about like what the heck is going on. What are we doing and not just about what they're doing, but what the larger problems that are being faced across all the ecosystems and chains and communities and the problems with rug pulls and yadda yadda, and there was ample opportunities where I was listening to the dialogue, I'm like man.

This would be a great time to jump into this conversation, and I didn't partly because I don't really want and feel uh able to properly represent the eos or fractally community all on my loans, but I also realized that uh you know from the very beginning of joining this community. I I never really felt, as though anyone gave me the permission or respect or credit to do anything positive and I didn't care, I just shoot from the hip and use my own judgment and do what I do, and this has gotten me pretty far.

Well, I have these relationships now, I'm from following some other people in um different um twitter spaces. You know crypto type communities and I've been spending a lot of time, trying to interact with them and whatnot, but um sort of like thinking that man, I would love it if there was a way when I'm in a community or I'm listening to something and they're. Having a talk over a particular topic where I could just like send a message to a bunch of eos community members to say: hey, you know this is going on.

Maybe you want to jump in with me in here, for example, uh yesterday there's a twitter spaces.

um I think it's called like web 3, 24 7 global or something like that, and it was the host of that particular one was. I think it was called social bees. Strangely, they have using the bee model and the swarm model for marketing, but also education, but they were talking about real estate nfts, which is you know. I I'm interested in real estate energies, I'm interested in the use of technology to do business, to create value and things that make sense and all the whole nft market never made any sense to me about like these.

You know these overpriced images of digital art as far as I'm concerned, but when they started talking about real estate entities. The first thing I thought is oh ooh ooh. I want to bring in sovereign sky and bl, beos and beos or whatever it's called, and I'm thinking about like handshake protocol and all this cool stuff that I got access to from participating in the practically team meetings, just meeting people and having you know, relationships with trust, and you know just talking and getting to know people, and so I'm like man.

I really shouldn't be just like a lone ranger in this voyage. You know like I don't need to be just shooting from the hip bomb myself like we can get a little more strategic and coordinated with it, but um yeah. I don't really know um what else to say other than that. I'm really jazzed about everything. That's going on.

I really don't think, um there's a, I think, the bigger problem and challenges we have in this uh ecosystem right now is just we're growing, so fast and so much change happening so quickly and people not fully digesting the information, and it's almost like there's these.

I feel as though like I'm ahead in time, because I know what's going on, but the same information may take months. You know for it to reach out to all the uh the people and the stakeholders that might have interest in it, and then you have all the fun and the you know the kind of hostile vitriolic kind of antagonism over everybody trying to communicate all this stuff through a telegram chat. You know, and so I myself am really excited about everything.

That's going on, I'm just happy to be part of the community and I'm happy that uh um that there's just so many wonderful things going on that. I can't keep up. So that's my steal.

I know you're keeping up on things. You are. I you're probably well informed, probably a lot more informed than a lot of people in the eos community. So you know if you're on those other twitter spaces, why not jump in there and say? Oh the os community is doing this or that or how it relates.

That that'd be a great way to support eos and it's something you know all eos community members can do. um I might be having audio issues my headphones died, so there might be feedback. I don't know what kind of litigation the eos network's looking into against block one, but I would think it doesn't look good for block one or bullish or whatever, when larimer is doing like during the crowd sale. He was pretty much promising to be working on eos for 10 years. Something like that. I remember listening interviews and uh maybe he's talking about starting a different chain.
