industry

not
exactly

right
fit.

me,

playing
video
games,
but
I
didn't
like
working
in
video
games
as
much
I
bounced
around
in
a
couple
different
industries,
one
of
which
led
me
into
kind
of
a
blockchain
adjacent
industry.

just
working
under
a
different
flag,
but
still
basically
working
nights
and
weekends
on
usio
when,
when
that
startup
folded,
as
most
startups,

I
went
to

I
said

it's
going
to
be
a
big
lift

esio
one
point
off

ground.

think
I

help

and

agreed,

that

supposed
to
be
kind

a
short-term
contract

call
pillars

we
describe
them
that
way,
because
they
really

supposed
to
be
foundational.
We
don't
want
to
be
the

people
that
are

are
building.
You
know
the
big
apps
and
things
like
that.

are
plenty
of
other
businesses
out
there
that
are
already
trying
to
make
those
impacts
and
what
they're
struggling
with
to
be
honest,
as
as
they
came
to
us
and
as
we
went
out

reached
out
and
tried
to
interview,
people

some

these
things
that
we
consider
kind
of
the
table.
Stakes
for
building
a
blockchain
application,
the
more
and
more
we
thought
about
it,
the
more
and
more.

realized
that
those
should
be
what
we
come
out
of
the
gates
with
as
far
as
like
a
starting
offering
for
really
onboarding
as
many
enterprise
customers
as
we
could,
and
so
you
mentioned
the
four
pillars
kind
of
up
front.
But
when
you,

you
think
about
it,
those
are
all
the
things
that
every
blockchain
application
we
think
is
going
to
need
and
really
they're,
just
kind
of
distractions,
from
the
core
value
of
what
you're
trying
to
do
with
your
application
and
software.

partner

partner
with
those
application
developers.

want
to
be
a
partner
for
these
big
enterprises
and
as
they
go
to
market
with
various
blockchain
applications,

we
really
want
to

live

certification
and
training,
where
we're
going
to
try
to
get
them
paged
into
a
larger
swath
of
really
the
capabilities
of
esio

blockchain
in
general,

get
them
thinking
about
how
big
of
an
impact
they

organization
and
with
their
business
workflow,
and
so
you
know
tying
together
kind
of
all
four
of
those
pillars
and,
of
course,
consultancy
because,
let's
face
it,
blockchain
engineers
are
hard
to
come
by.

we're
expensive.

Sometimes
we
have
our
own
ideas,
so
it's
not
always
easy
to
find
someone
who
is
both
good
at
blockchain
and
and
also
good
at
really
developing
an
application.
Now
I
say
that
in
the
presence
of
in
the
presence
of

both
good
at
blockchain
and
good
at
developing
applications,
but
consider
for
a
moment
this
is.
This
is
a
rare
occurrence
where
we
happen
to
have
kind
of
a
nexus
of
that,
and
most
enterprises
are
having
struggles.

the
premier,
technical
support
and

some
of
the
consulting
services,
what
do
you
sort
of
foresee
sort
of
how
that
rolls
out
like

new
company
was
coming

do,

cultivate

ecosystem

partners

lot

those
partners

going
to
be
doing
things
on
the
blockchain
engineering
side,
as
well
as

application
development
side.

think,
for
the
most
part
we
see
a.

see
a
future
with
so
many
so
many
applications
built
on
blockchain
that
there's
really
not
a
competitive,
competitive
landscape
there.

when
we
look
at
things
like
the
certification
and
training,
we're
absolutely
looking
to
train
up
blockchain
engineers,
so
that
the
the
kind
of
global
pool
of
blockchain
engineer
engineers
available
to
do
work
on
any
kind
of
blockchain
application
grows,
I
think
that's
that's
just
you
know,
based
on
an
investment
in
the
future
of
blockchain,
it's
baseline
investment
in
the
in
the
future
of
esio.
That's
the
kind
of
traction
we
want
with
that
that
certification
and
training
program.

you

that
we
want
to
get
into
some
of
these
mostly
to
learn
and
also
to
help
people
like
I
said
over
that
kind
of
first
hump
of
getting
something
off
the
ground
again,
I
think
the
pie
here
is
so
large
that
it's
hard
to
see
our
consultancy
offering
is
really
competitive.
I
think
it's
just
purely
trying
to
get
more
and
more
use
cases
out
there
and
build
and
and
develop
that
ecosystem,
so
that
there's
there's
more
blockchain
in
the
world
period.

of
the
vision

look
strictly
at
the
esio
base
layer
that
you
guys
have
built
plugins
that
you

built

are
you
including
community
tools
like
defuse,

adapt
service
providers

that
sort
of
part
of
the

things

might
look

sort

that
strategy

future

blockchains

seeing

impact,

real-world

those

success

think

most

would
find

standard
cross
of
all

we're
not
seeing
this
as
a
as
a
winner.
Take
all
situation,
we're
seeing
this
as

blockchain
take
all
situation,
and
that
can
mean
a
lot
of
things.

whenever
the
news
came
out
of

entire
suite
of
offerings,
I

was

could
offer
my
own
opinion
on
what
I
thought
of
it.
I
think
it
is
great
for
the
ecosystem,
but
the
biggest
thing
I
saw
in
like
the
telegram
channels
and
on
twitter
is
a
lot
of
questions
about
how
does
eos
io
business
in
this
whole
suite?
How
does
it
benefit
public
networks
and
in
particular,
eos?

So
that's
that's
one
aspect
of
it
for
sure
the
other
aspect
is
kind
of
the
same,
but
also
slightly
less
developer
focus,
but
it's
also
kind
of
a
halo
effect,
which
is
that
the
more
that
enterprises
and
other
organizations
see
eosio
as
a
really
capable
technology
and
the
more
that
we
get.
Some
of
these
applications
built
out
and
they're
delivering
impact
and
the
users,
whether
they're
inside
of
an
organization
or
their
end
users
on
their
you
know,
phones,
see
eosio
as
something
of
like
a
brand
of
quality.

same
way
that
we
used
to
see
you
know
intel,
badges
and
all
sorts
of
nvidia,
badges
and
stuff
like
that
for
various
computer
hardware,
that's
going
to
start
to
become
just
kind
of
a
brand
you
can
look

all

the
public
networks
also
carry
that
brand
at
some
at
some
level.
That
means
they're
going
to
be
able
to
kind
of
benefit
from
just
the
brand
awareness

at
all
when
you
think
about
it.

already

like
we
got
eosio
to
a
point
where
it
had

kind
of
technology
backing
and
the
kind

you

the

capabilities

proof

big
tech

interested
in
joining
one
of
our
public
networks
communities

mean
this
is

google
joining
the
eos
community?
It's
not
google
joining
block
one.

not
google
developing
eosio

technology,
something
about

technology
and
the
community's
use
of
that
technology.

them

join

community,

don't
want

don't

put
it
all
on

technology
side,
because
that
would
be

too
much,
and
I
don't
want

put

the
community
side
because

feel
like
this
technology
does
have
something
to
it,
but
some
combination
of
that
became
magic
and
you

regardless
of
what
your
opinions
are,
of
google

large
organizations.

a
huge

win
for
eosio.

complaints
anyone

have
had
about
the
eosi
business
stuff,

think
you
guys

do
with
the
onboarding

conversations

google
like
how
did
it
go
from
like
a
first
contact
all
the
way
up
to
them?

guess
deploying
a
mainnet

the

involvement

business
or
project
wants
to
use
your
bas

spin
up
a
blockchain.

right
now,

as

service
is
kind

a
direct
offering,
so
you
will
have
to
come
and

inquiry
with
us
and
talk
to
us

little
bit
about

where
it's
going

say
at
this

think
we'll
be

announcements
