Description
The GitHub Stars program thanks GitHub’s most influential developers and gives them a platform to showcase their work, reach more people, and shape the future of GitHub.
Conference closing remarks follow.
A
Good
afternoon,
everyone
thank
you
so
much
for
hanging
in
there
with
us.
We
are
so
happy
you've
been
here
and
I
am
going
to
introduce
to
you
some
very
special
faults
today.
As
you
know,
oh
first,
let
me
introduce
myself,
so
my
name
is
andrea,
andrea,
griffiths
11
is
my
handle.
I
am
originally
from
cali
colombia
and
I've
been
here
a
couple
of
years
now
I
have
the
pleasure
of
working
with
the
community
support
team.
A
I
am
now
a
program
manager
with
digital
support,
so
yeah
come
hang
out
with
us
at
github.com
we
have
a
lovely,
very
friendly
community
of
both
brand
new
developers
and
developers
have
been
at
it
for
a
while.
So
it's
a
great
place
to
learn
something
new,
but
I'm
here
today
to
talk
to
you
about
a
new
program
by
github.
As
you
know,
rehab
is
a
global
company
and
so
are
the
octogothos.
A
We
are
a
global
brand
and
we
are
the
home
for
all
developers,
and
the
github
stars
program,
which
was
just
recently
launched,
is
going
to
thank
github's,
most
influential
developers
and
give
them
a
platform
to
be
empowered
to
showcase
their
work
and
to
reach
more
people
and
also,
very
importantly,
to
help
us
shape
the
future
of
github.
A
We
are
super
excited
today
because
out
of
the
very
few
github
stars
that
we
have,
we
actually
have
three
who
are
part
of
the
latin
family.
So
we
have
three
latinx
hub
stars
and
I
think
it's
super
important
that
we
get
to
know
them
and
before
I
pass
it
on
to
them,
because
I
want
them
to
introduce
themselves.
A
I
want
to
comment
and
that
these
folks
are
here
not
because
they
volunteer
for
something
or
they
decided
that
they
were
going
to
ask
or
have
x
number
of
followers
they're
here,
because
you,
the
community,
nominated
them,
because
you
value
their
contributions
and
because
they
inspire
us
all.
So
if
you
have
someone
that
you
know
should
be
a
github
start
for
sure,
go
to
the
startup
github.com
website
and
nominate
them.
But
okay,
now
I'll
be
quiet,
because
nobody
wants
to
hear
more
about
me
we're
here
to
meet
these
amazing
humans.
A
B
Everyone
I'm
diana
rodriguez-
I
am
in
the
united
states,
but
I'm
originally
from
venezuela
and
I'm
activate
82
on
twitter
and
being
a
github
star
is
amazing,
not
only
because
we
have
the
opportunity
of
getting
more
outreach
and
to
be
able
to
share
with
people
our
experience
and
to
be
showcased,
and
you
know
to
be
able
to
attend
to
more
meetups
and
to
have
a
direct
contact
with
the
community.
B
I
think
that
anyone
who's
who's
actually
working
in
the
community
and
wants
to
have
a
positive
impact,
is
welcome
to
this
program,
so
I
feel
really
privileged
for
being
here
and
and
well
a
good
chance
to
do
a
shameless
plug.
I'm
here
for
you,
I'm
here
for
your
events
for
your
meetups
for
mentoring.
B
A
Thank
you
so
much
diana,
oh,
my
gosh.
It
is
so
important
that
we
give
back
to
our
community,
and
this
is
a
very
exemplary
way
that
you're
doing
it.
If
I
were
you,
I
will
definitely
take
them
up
on
the
mentoring
offers.
The
twitch
twitter
details
are
on
the
chat
so
for
sure.
Ask
because
it's
great
when
somebody.
A
Come
up
on
it!
Thank
you
so
much
for
being
here,
let's
go
to
julio
next.
D
D
If
you
don't
know
me
and
I
have
a
youtube
channel
and
in
general
you
I'm
talking
a
lot
of
things
about
devops
github
and
a
lot
of
contents
about
tech
communities,
about
tech,
universes,
I'd
love
to
do
meetups
about
tech,
about
github,
about
azure
devops.
I
mean
microsoft,
mvp
too,
and
I
love
it
and
I
amazing
to
be
the
first
github
star
from
brazil
and
if
you
know
a
lot,
another
people
from
community
to
help
us
in
the
gt
hub
community
nominate
him
using
this
the
club
star
site.
A
E
Hello,
everyone,
hello,
I
am
vanessa,
my
handle
in
twitter
is
vanessa
mareli
and
I
am
from
colombia
and
I'm
from
a
town
at
the
southwest
of
dante,
and
the
name
is
difficult
to
pronounce
in
english.
So
I'm
going
to
admit
it
well.
For
me
to
be
a
github
story
is
an
honor.
I
didn't
expect
it
in
the
program
that
are
incredible
people
and
they
give
happy
stories
that
they
share
with
those
are
amazing
and
thank
you
to
the
community
for
nominee.
E
They
give
me
the
opportunity
to
be
to
a
channel
where
I
can
see
all
their
stars
and
learn
from
them,
see
the
new
github
features
and
be
able
to
participate
in
meetings
where
they
share
the
new
github
things,
and
that
is
amazing.
This
program
is
amazing
and
the
people
can
nominate
other
really
really
star
developers
in
our
countries
or
and
everywhere,
and
and
I
I
have
the
opportunity
to
share
with
the
community
all
the
things
I
am
learning.
E
A
Awesome
we
gotta
hook
all
of
you
up
with
octogato's
swag,
so
stay
tuned.
I
will
be
reaching
out.
Thank
you
so
much
for
being
here
for
being
a
part
of
this
community
and,
more
importantly,
for
being
so
open
and
willing
to
give.
We
all
have
struggles.
Everyone
is
going
through
such
a
hard
time,
but
it's
so
inspiring
to
see
that
you've
taken
the
time
to
help
others.
A
I
know
I
could
probably
only
speak
for
myself,
but
it's
so
nice
to
when
you
see
folks
that
look
like
you
doing
this
kind
of
work
and
being
acknowledged.
You
are
all
stars,
and
we
are
super
proud
and
grateful
to
have
you
here
count
on
us
too.
The
octogatos
are
here
also
to
support
you
on
all
your
goals.
So
if
there
is
anything
that
we
can
do
to
help,
don't
hesitate
to
hit
us
up.
A
Thank
you
very
much
for
joining
us
all
of
the
twitter
handles
for
our
amazing
github
stars
are
on
the
chat,
give
them
a
follow,
give
them
a
retweet.
Ask
them
a
question
they're
the
most
deserving
folks-
and
we
super
appreciate
you
being
here.
So,
thank
you
and
that
thing
that
said,
let's
go
and
close
it
up,
so
we
can
have
a
little
party
yeah.
C
E
A
Goodbye
is
see
you
soon,
first
of
all,
from
the
bottom
of
our
hearts,
the
octogotos
have
been
overwhelmed,
and
just
so
full
of
love
by
the
upward
support.
From
all
of
you.
Yesterday
we
had
such
a
rocky
start
trying
to
provide
you
with
the
best
experience.
A
A
A
All
of
us
are
distributed
everywhere
and
to
be
able
to
pull
this
off.
It
was
a
herculean
effort.
It
wasn't
done
by
just
one
person
or
two.
It
was
a
group
of
people
full
of
love
and
ready
to
give
back.
So,
oh,
I
did
have
a
sly
elaine
then
thank
you,
sly,
but
of
course
I
forgot
about
it.
So
maybe
a
link
and
share
it
for
us,
but
I
am
so
grateful
to
everyone
who
is
on
this
list
and
if
I
missed
you
I'm
so
sorry
you
did
this.
A
You
did
this
for
your
community.
We
don't
really
have
naysayers
because
they
know
we're
powerful
and
we
get
the
job
done,
but
we
definitely
have
some
rocky
moments.
I
am
so
grateful
for
all
of
you.
I
hope
this
conference
next
year
will
take
place
in
person.
It's
an
amazing
destination,
but
it's
incredible
to
be
able
to
reach
you
all
where
you
are
in
your
own
language.
Thank
you
for
your
support.
Thank
you
for
all
the
love
remember
to
follow
us
on
twitter
juanpa.
Please
thank
our
amazing
campus
experts.
C
Yeah
thanks
to
fair
louis
rodrigo
and
all
the
more
than
15
campus
experts
that
were
with
us
during
this
this
time
and
this
conference.
C
For
all
of
those
who
are
looking
forward
to
be
part
of
the
campus
expert
program,
remember
we
have
news
at
github
universe
so
make
sure
to
tune
in
in
at
guitar
universe,
to
know
more
about
the
program.
We
would
love
to
have
more
latino
campus
experts,
because
they
are
a
lot
of
fun.
They
are
super
creative
and
they
are
doing
some
amazing
work
for
the
community
and
for
other
students
in
in
their
countries,
so
make
sure
to
tune
in
and
keep
on,
watching,
not
only
octogato's
conf,
but
all
the
work
that
the
erg
is
doing.
C
We
are
constantly
working
with
other
groups
and
other
teams
within
github
and
open
source,
and
we
would
love
to
reach
out
to
more
of
you
and
get
to
know
more
about
the
work
that
you're
doing
locally,
regionally
or
or
in
in
your
country.
And
of
course,
thank
you.
So
much
andrea
for
being
the
leader
of
this
amazing
project.
C
For
doing
all
of
this
work,
putting
up
a
conference
and
having
in
three
different
languages
is
not
a
simple
job,
and
I
I
don't
know
if
I
can
speak
for
all
the
other
octagons,
but
at
least
from
from
my
side-
and
I
know
most
of
them
would
agree
as
well.
It's
been
an
amazing
work
that
you've
done,
and
we
really
appreciate
that
that
you
have.
