A
All
right
so
my
name's
John
I'm,
the
Evangelist
program
manager
at
gate
lab
this
is
the
heroes
steering
committee
meeting
from
May
6
2020
I
wanted
to
start
by
reviewing
our
kind
of
dues
from
the
last
meeting.
I
had
pretty
much
all
the
dues
I
think
I'm
coming
out
of
that
meeting
so
lucky
for
everyone
else.
The
first
one
was
uploaded.
The
meetings
to
YouTube
I
got
everyone's
signed
kind
of
like
media
waivers.
So
thank
you
for
those
and
yeah
we'll
start
uploading.
A
The
meetings
beginning
with
this
meeting
I
think,
rather
than
going
back
and
and
putting
the
content,
that's
a
few
months
old
I
think
it
just
makes
more
sense
to
start
with
the
current
meeting
and
that
way.
Folks,
you
know
who
are
interested
in
what's
going
on,
get
a
sense
of
where
we're
at
with
the
eros
committee
and
in
real-time,
so
that'll
be
the
new
kind
of
plan.
Does
anyone
have
any
objections
to
that
I'm
open
to
that?
Is
it
very
loosely
held
to
opinion.
A
So
get
ur
one
cool
thing
and
they
drop
the
HQ
so
originally
get
her
said:
git
er,
H,
gitlab
HQ
was
the
kind
of
name
for
all
of
our
channels.
They
didn't
since
dropped
the
HQ
recently
and
now
we
have,
you
know
just
get
lab
which
in
some
ways,
I
actually
think
it
makes
it
a
little
bit
more
welcoming
for
the
community.
I
feel
like
HQ
might
have
confused
people,
or
maybe
they
thought
that
was
you
know,
for
official
business
or
something
so
I
was
happy.
A
We
just
made
it
more
straightforward
and
eliminated
any
possible
confusion.
We
also
headed
over
on
the
side
here
this
activity
integration.
So
now
there's
a
new
merge
request
or
new
issue
open
in
the
project.
There'll
be
a
notification
here
for
folks
and
yeah,
and
then
you
know
I've
added
documentation
about
this
to
the
heroes
project.
Readme,
so
I
think
give
air
continues
to
get
better.
You
know
that
it's
not
extremely
active
channel.
B
I
think
the
discussion
is
a
little
bit
slow
at
the
moment,
but
I
also
don't
think
it's
necessarily
a
problem
because
it
has
sped
up
since
we
be,
we
owe
the
the
amount
of
communication
has
increased
since
we
started
it.
I'm
I
also
quite
enjoy
the
activity
thing
on
the
side.
I
think
that's
a
potential
for
creating
more
conversation,
kind
of
get
the
ball
rolling.
A
C
D
A
And
when
you
say
promote
it,
you
mean
to
you
know,
encourage
all
the
heroes
to
part
join
then
kind
of
participate
or
just
broadcast
it
to
the
community,
like
that,
I
think.
One
thing
that
would
be
very
easy
to
do
is
get
you
know
the
gitlab
social
team
to
say:
hey,
you
know
the
get
live,
heroes
have
this
channel,
they
want
you
to
come
and
you
know
hang
out
with
them.
You
know
I
think
getting
the
individual
heroes
to
join
may
be.
C
B
A
D
Think
there's
like
a
focus
as
well
like
one
channel
for
everything
won't
bring
anyone
in.
If
you
know
what
I
mean
so
we
have
Drupal
global
slack
and
it
has
a
lot
of
channels
and
people
join
there.
You
know
someone
wants
to
do
a
framing.
Someone
wants
to
do
a
migration.
Someone
has
a
question
about
support
yeah,
so
the
channel
created
by
so
people
can
join
and
have
some
sort
of
discussion.
Some
channel
keep
going.
D
A
Yeah
yeah
I
think
the
goal
you
know
is
really
to
try
and
help
build
more
interpersonal
connection
between
the
members
of
the
program,
or
at
least
that's
kind
of
my
vision,
for
it.
I
also
think
it's
just
a
way
for
people.
You
know
wait
for
people
to
share,
updates
or
things
that
they're
working
on
or
activity
that
they're
doing
I
know
you
know,
Nico's
been
really
active
over
the
past
few
months
and
seems
to
have
also
been
one
of
the
more
active
people
in
the
channel
and
I
didn't
know.
A
If
there's
a
correlation
between
that
like
when
you're
out
doing
talks
about
get
Lev
and
speaking
of
meetups,
you're,
probably
gonna,
be
we're
likely
to
post
about
them
or
share
a
slide
back
and
get
er.
So
this
probably
correlation
between
your
activity
in
the
community
and
your
participation
in
the
channel.
C
So
I
think
reaching
the
heroes
via
mail
might
be
a
nice
idea,
I'm
not
sure
if
we
need
to
create
a
separate
mail
just
throughout
this
I'm,
Jonah
I,
don't
know
if
any
future
plans,
if
you
sending
another
newsletter
the
next
month,
just
just
include
the
Gator
channel
and
sure
pretty
sure
you
will
send
something
regarding
get
up
commit
anyway.
I
can
trust
it
some
kitchen
stuff
in
there.
A
Yep
yeah
I
think
you
know
that
and
I
was
just
gonna
say
with
the
commit
CFP
coming
up
I,
that's
probably
something
I'll
be
pushing.
You
know
as
we
get
closer
to
the
deadline,
so
it's
probably
a
good
time
to
craft
an
email
update
for
people,
so
I
can
make
sure
that
we
also
and
provide
a
nudge
or
some
kind
of
encouragement
for
people
to
sign
up
for
get
her.
E
So
because
our
there
are
a
couple
of
people
who
I
haven't
really
seen
like
involved
in
any
sort
of
conversation
channel,
so
probably
the
information
that
is
shared
is
not
of
interest
to
then
probably
they
just
receive
no,
but
I
was
just
thinking
like,
maybe
something
maybe
like
these
people.
You
know
like.
B
A
B
B
A
C
E
E
A
Label
or
issues
with
that
label
into
Gator
that
wasn't
something
that's
really
very
easy
to
configure
so
I
just
selected
to
go
with
a
more
straightforward
integration,
which
is
all
the
issues
MMR's
and
the
project
are
going
to
get
pushed
into
that
activity.
Sidebar
I,
don't
think,
there's
so
much
activity
happening
in
the
project
that
it's
going
to
overwhelm
the
sidebar.
So
I
felt
like
that
was
a
happy
kind
of
you
know
more
easy
and
efficient
way
to
get
things
done.
That's
not
going
to
create
a
worst
experience
for
anyone!
C
A
You
hover
it.
It
kind
of
pulls
up
like
a
lot
of
the
information
that
the
title
is
there
when
you
hover
so
I
can
see
what
we
can
do
with
that.
Like
I
I
agree
at
that,
that
would
probably
be
a
nice
addition,
but
that
would
might
be
something
that
needs
to
get
worked
on
by
our
engineering
team,
like
the
Gator
team,
that
yeah.
A
A
All
right
and
then
you
had
the
following
up
on
the
non
developer
workshop
materials,
yeah
I
just
didn't
get
to
that
in
this
kind
of
recent
cycle.
So
I
have
to
go
back
and
see.
We
did
a
virtual
commit.
There
might
have
been
some
a
session
on
get
lab
for
non
developers
or
something
I
didn't
participate
in
that
one.
But
I
can
go
back
and
see
what
we've
got
and
I'll
just
keep
that
as
it
to
do
for
next
time.
D
I'm
working
on
next
one,
so
I
did
the
first.
We
lived
in
the
meet
up
in
April,
which
is
get
lab
boards
and
I'm,
not
working
on
github
for
non
developers.
Talk
for
creating
documentation,
so
I'm
mature
I
thought
it
would
be
ready
in
May
and
doesn't
look
like
it's
gonna
be
okay,
so
maybe
June
we
might
do
another
meetup
or
something
like
that.
Well,
once
I
get
a
bit
more
clear
on
the
talk
and
once
I
get
all
the
things
together,
I'll,
let
you
know
in
the
channel
yeah.
A
And
I,
just
gotta
tell
you
that
session
that
you
did
was
you
know,
I
have
me
me
:,
so
I
can't
say
it
was
my
favorite,
but
I
did
love
this
session
that
you
put
together,
but
that
was
super
insightful
and
detailed,
and
probably
you
know,
one
of
the
best
kind
of
you
know
bits
of
content
that
we
have
about
our
planned
stage.
So
thank
you
for
putting
that
together
and
the.
A
A
So
Nikko
moving
on
to
the
next
point,
you
go
kind
of
alluded
to
this
already,
but
they
get
lab,
commit
CFP
is
open.
So
folks,
you
know
who
don't
know
get
web
commit
is
our
kind
of
user
conference.
We
did
a
few
of
them
last
year.
Right
now
we
have
one
scheduled
for
August
with
the
potential
to
do
some
in-person
events
later
in
the
year,
although
I
would
say
that
those
are
probably
you
know
still
up
in
the
air.
A
You
know
I,
think
there's
some
ideas
like
that
I've
been
thinking
around
thinking
about,
but
I'd
love
more
feedback
around,
like
maybe
a
heroes
panel,
or
you
know
doing
some
content-
that's
focused
on
you
know
how
to
contribute
to
the
gateleg
community.
You
know
so
having
some,
not
just
technical
talks.
A
You
know
because
I
think
you
know
a
lot
of
our
heroes
are
great
at
that,
but
also
you
know
some
content
or
you
know,
proposals,
ways
to
promote
the
Heroes
program
at
the
event
and
just
promote
you
know
how
to
get
involved
in
the
community
at
the
event
so
curious.
If
folks,
you
know
think
that's
an
something
that
would
be
of
interest
either
to
this
group
or
to
you
know,
other
heroes
and
just
like
to
kind
of
riff
on
that
for
a
little
bit,
but.
B
A
D
A
A
See
an
answer
to
the
timezone
question
in
the
thread
on
slack,
so
I'll
dig
that
up,
but
as
far
as
like
potential
talks
about
the
heroes
kind
of
program
or
to
get
lab
community
to
do
folks
think
that
that
would
be
stuff.
That's
you
know
interesting
to
you,
know,
participants
and
then
also
interesting
for
people
to
speak
about.
E
Yeah
yeah
I
think
it
would
be
a
nice
idea
to
have
like
and
I
just
think
it's
always
like
to
like
you
know
the
whole
the
whole
channel
and
everything
and
I
just
have
one.
You
know
like
it's
it's
basically,
you
know
like
most
of
the
professors,
most
even
technical
side
and
I
have
a
feeling
that
you
know
like
the
Heroes
program
is
mostly
leaning
towards
the
non-technical
side.
So
I
was,
you
know
like
of
the
view
that
maybe
switch
things
up
a
bit.
We
have
we
try
to
organize.
E
B
B
Another
thought
I
had
was
potentially
more
than
one
of
us
could
do
a
talk
together.
I
don't
know
with
the
virtual
conference
that
might
make
the
logistical
bit
difficult,
but
we
could
talk
about
our
experiences
individually
and
then
maybe
our
experience
as
as
the
speak
on
behalf
of
the
group,
don't
know
what
other
people's
thoughts
are
on
that
and
then
just
one
last
comment
and
I
think
this
also
matches
the
time
zone
thing.
The
CFP
has
speaker
reimbursements
for
travel
which
to
me
doesn't
make
it
clear
about
the
virtual
nurse.
B
C
D
Probably
refer
in
to
something
like
panels
as
well
right,
Adrienne,
so
where
there
would
be
a
moderator
and
a
few,
here's
and
moderator
would
actually
call
a
topic
or
some
title:
that's
what
usually
panel
is
and
here's
would
actually
go
and
you
know
discuss
it
from
different
perspectives.
I
think
that
was
really
quite
insightful.
Yeah.
B
That's
not
what
I
was
thinking
but
I
really
like
that
idea.
My
my
initial
thought
is:
we
could
somehow
present
as
a
group,
but
that's
obviously
very
difficult,
where's,
the
the
panel
kind
of
solves
that
the
group
aspect
of
it.
It
just
means
we
don't
necessarily
do
talk,
but
I
think
that's
that's
also
fine.
D
Well
interesting
panel
is
actually
a
lot
of
work.
What
I
found
there's
a
lot
of
not
very
interesting
tunnels,
judging
by
conferences,
I
managed
to
attempt
in
the
last
six
months,
but
it
is
actually
a
lot
of
work
because
moderator
need
to
create
topics,
and
then
everyone
who
is
participating
has
to
kind
of
deliver
some
sort
of
substance.
Otherwise
it's
become
very,
very
boring,
so
it
seems
easy,
but
in
the
end
to
actually
deliver
a
very
consistent
and
good
insightful
panel,
it's
a
lot
of
work.
It's
like
it's
six
people
work
instead
of
one.
D
B
I
agree
with
you
and
that
I've
seen
panels
which
weren't
weren't
as
interesting
as
other
panels,
mostly
because
the
questions
being
artists
weren't,
when
potentially
as
broad
or
interesting
as
there
could
be
so
I,
think
it
potentially
puts
a
lot
of
effort
on
the
on
the
moderator
to
maybe
have
questions
ready.
That
will
be
interesting
if
the
audience
doesn't
ask
interesting
questions
or
to
help
guide
to
a
particular
topic
or
thread
or
something.
B
A
B
B
A
All
right,
so
the
next
point
in
the
agenda
was
the
virtual
meetups
that
we've
been
doing
I
just
wanted
to
kind
of
share
some
updates.
So
we
so
both
Miko
and
Vladimir
presented
that
our
virtual
meetups
and
we've
also
had
some
get
left
team
members.
Do
presentation
is
at
virtual
meetups
they've
been
going
really
well
so
far,
we've
had
you
know,
pretty
good
crowds,
I
think
Miko
strong.
A
You
know
some
some
really
big
crowds,
I
think
loud
I
mean
we
had
like
40
or
something
people
on
for
his
talk
and
we
continue
as
we
go
through
like
each
week.
We've
been
doing
them
weekly
each
week.
We
see
you
know
more
engagement
and
participation
from
the
audience
which
has
been
exciting
to
see
because
I
think
I
was
a
little
bit
weary
that
these
would
just
be.
A
You
know
like
feel
like
webinars
and
they
haven't
they've
been
feeling
pretty
engaging,
and
you
know
whether
it's
people
using
the
chat
box
or
people
having
conversations
in
breakout
groups
which
we've
been
doing
at
the
end
of
the
events,
we've
seen
really
good
participation
in
kind
of
both
of
those
forums.
So
it's
been
nice
to
see
and
we
continue
to
iterate
on
those,
so
I
just
wanted
to
share
that
with
folks
also
want
to
invite
you
know
anybody,
you.
B
B
A
You
know
I
think
I've
been
debating
what
to
do
about
this.
So
if
folks
have
feedback,
that's
great,
but
you
know
I
think
the
trick
of
the
the
tricky
part
of
doing
that
it
promoting
the
events
and
individual
meetup
groups
is
that
they'll
only
appear
to
members
of
those
groups
and
so
then
you're
only
able
to
hit
a
small
subset.
So
what
we've
been
doing
is
using
a
mix
normally
we'll
do
a
zoom
registration
page
and
then
put
the
event
in
a
meetup
group.
A
A
It's
distributed
on
Twitter
and
then
I
do
a
message
to
PETA
through
meetup
comm
to
all
of
our
members
every
week.
Letting
them
know
where
the
next
virtual
need
up
will
be
so
we're
able
to
reach
all
of
our
global
membership,
which
is
like
10,000
people
and
we
direct
them
to
zoom
or
to
beat
up
age
or
both.
Okay,.
E
D
D
A
Not
like
pushing
so
I'm,
not
sure
I,
probably
didn't
explain
this
clearly
enough,
so
I
don't
publish
every
Meetup
that
we're
doing
on
every,
so
every
virtual
meetup
does
not
get
created
within
every
virtual
group.
That
would
be
like
that
would
require
me
to
create
14
to
6
events
for
every
group,
which
would
be
you
know,
a
lot
of
work.
E
A
I
cups
a
little
the
meetup
here
and
this
virtual
in
this
kit
lab
and
Z
like
meetup
group
because
of
the
time
zone
and
because
you
were
you
know
local
to
Australia
I
thought
that
would
be
the
best
group
to
promote
it.
And
then
I
can
I
have
a
messaging
capability
where
I
can
send
a
message
to
all
10,000
members.
So
then
I
won't
send
them
a
message
like
on
Monday.
A
That
says
this
week's
virtual
meetup
is
on
Thursday
at
you
know
like
11
o'clock
UTC,
and
you
can
register
on
meetup
where
you
can
register
on
zoom'
and
that
way
people
that
just
want
to
stay
in
the
meetup
kind
of
you
know.
Platform
can
join
that
and
Z
group,
even
if
they
live
in
New,
York
and
register
for
the
event
there.
And
then,
if
I'm
in
New,
York
and
I'm
saying
I,
don't
want
to
join
a
group
in
Australia
and
get
you
know
a
million
notifications
or
have
to
go
back.
A
You
know,
after
the
event
and
and
leave
the
group
I'm
just
going
to
go
to
the
zoom
page
and
register
there.
So
that's
kind
of
been
the
process.
So
far,
and
so
for
one
last
week
we
had
a
speaker
and
the
area,
so
we
use
the
bay
area
group
to
kind
of
we
put
the
event
in
that
meetup
group
and
then
promoted
it
to
the
10,000
members
and
gave
them
the
two
options
to
register.
D
A
This
one
we
didn't
put
a
meetup
group
we
didn't
put
in
a
meetup
because
it's
for
education,
so
it's
a
kind
of
niche
topic
and
I
didn't
think
it
was
really
going
to
be
relevant
to
a
lot
of
our
like
to
one
of
our
specific
groups,
like
the
closest
one
to
this
one
is
Chicago,
but
we
I
don't
think
we
have
a
ton
of
education,
users
and
Chicago.
It's
really
more
of
a
global
type
of
event,
so
I
didn't
tie
it
to
a
specific
geography.
B
B
C
B
B
That's
that's
intent
as
to
to
meet
online
and
and
as
you
say,
that
the
time
zone
thing
will
be
an
issue,
but
at
least
like
if
all
meetups
that
were
virtual
were
advertised
there
as
well,
and
then
you
know
those
who
don't
really
worry
too
much
about
which
time
zone
it's
going
to
be
and
can
kind
of,
see
it
and
then
skip
they
don't
want
to
go.
Is
this
just
a
problem
that
that
I'm
trying
to
solve
for
myself
or
with
this
actually
useful
for
money,
more
people
and.
E
A
Thanks
for
calling
that
out,
Adrienne,
it's
something
I've
been
thinking
about,
but
because
of
some
of
the
kind
of
shortcomings
that
we
could
discuss
like
the
timezone
issue
and
the
geographic
search
like
how
discoverable
the
group
may
be
to
new
members,
you
know,
I
haven't
really
opted
not
to
make
that
investment,
but
it
sounds
like
this
is
a
problem
for,
for
you
at
least.
You
know
folks
in
this
call,
so
maybe
it's
a
problem
across
the
broader
community,
and
we
should
take
a
little
bit
deeper
on
this.
If.
B
If
the
solution
is
to
create
an
online
meetup
group
on
me
to
become
with
a
location
like
what
Daka
did
I'm
guessing,
it
would
mean
we
need
to
promote
it
in
different
ways.
So
it
might
make
sense.
The
link
from
the
virtual
meetups
page
as
well
like
give
create
a
mechanism
for
people
to
discover
it
other
than
the
meetups
near
me.
A
A
This
is
something
that
our
community
team
is
thinking
about.
Trying
to
you
know
emphasize
in
the
kind
of
coming
months
and
throughout
the
rest
of
this
year,
which
is
formed
back
at
lab,
calm,
I,
don't
know
if
anyone's
ever
visited
the
forum
before
but
yeah.
So
one
thing
we're
gonna,
do
that's
kind
of
like
low-hanging.
Fruit
is
give
all
of
like
art,
get
lab
heroes
like
I,
get
my
hero,
title
and
badge
on
the
forum,
so
I'll
just
share
my
screen
and
show
people
what
that
might
look
like.
A
A
B
A
Think
that,
right
now
the
forum's
used
you
know
like
mostly
for
like
community
support,
so
people,
you
know
who
don't
get
support
from
yet
level,
go
into
the
forum
and
try
and
you
know,
find
folks
to
help
them
solve.
You
know
issues
that
they're
running
into
with.
You
know
that
maybe
their
installation
or
some
kind
of
feature
that
they're
using
or
something
like
that.
A
A
A
C
A
Alright,
so
maybe
we
will
table
the
forum
stuff
for
another
time.
It
doesn't
seem
like
there's
a
lot
of
information
there
or
questions
about
that
so
yeah,
so
we're
at
time
thanks
everyone
for
the
great
kind
of
feedback
today
Adrienne
of
Vladimir.
If
you
need
anything
on
the
CFP
that
proposal
that
you'll
be
working
on.
Let
me
know
I'm
happy
to
join
any
conversations
at
YouTube
schedule
or,
if
you
do
it,
you
know
a
sink
over
email.
Fruit
feel
free
to
copy
me
on
that
threat
and
yeah
I'll
work
on
the
ima.
