TMRG - GitLab DiversABILITY
An overview of this TMRG
A
Hi,
my
name
is,
will
and
I
live
just
outside-
of
philadelphia
in
wilmington,
delaware
in
the
united
states,
an
eyelid,
gitlab
social
media
team.
The
gitlab
diversibility
tmrg
is
a
resource
group
to
aid
team
members
through
their
lived
experiences
at
gitlab,
whether
these
experiences
are
seen
or
unseen
or
present
themselves
as
a
physical
or
mental
diversity,
or
directly
impact
you
or
a
loved
one.
A
The
diverse
ability
tmrg
advocates
for
every
team
member
for
physical
conditions
related
to
sight,
sound
or
mobility
or
for
mental
health
concerns
like
adhd
anxiety,
bipolar
disorder,
depression
and
so
much
more.
These
are
just
a
few
examples
of
the
lived
experiences
our
team
members
can
have.
I
have
adhd
and
anxiety-
and
I
know
that
connecting
with
other
folks
who
have
the
same,
neurological
or
mental
health
conditions
can
help
me
not
just
to
cope
but
to
thrive
at
gitlab
and
in
my
personal
life.
A
I
think
what
makes
the
diverse
ability
tmrg
unique
is
that
this
group
is
made
up
of
folks
that
we
would
not
necessarily
identify
as
someone
who's
in
our
community
as
a
remote
company,
we're
often
not
seeing
a
whole
physical
person
that
we
work
with.
So
we
may
not
know
of
another
team
member's
physical
diversity
and
we
all
often
miss
a
person's
neurodiversity
unless
they're
sharing
it
with
us
personally,
like
I
just
did
about
my
neurodiversity,
so
whether
it's
physical
or
neurological
in
nature,
this
group
would
be
invisible
without
building
community
to
work
together.
