From YouTube: Inbound Marketing Weekly Recap 2021-01-21
Description
No description was provided for this meeting.
If this is YOUR meeting, an easy way to fix this is to add a description to your video, wherever mtngs.io found it (probably YouTube).
A
All
right,
everybody
good
morning,
shane
rice.
Well,
whenever
you're
watching
this
video.
Whatever
time
of
day
it
is,
I
hope,
you're
having
a
good
one,
I'm
shane
rice.
This
is
the
inbound
marketing
recap,
call
and
we're
kicking
this
off
with
metrics
today.
So
give
me
one
second,
let
me
pull
up
the
agenda
and
we
will
go
through
those
numbers.
A
All
right,
so
we
are
86.81
of
the
way
through
the
quarter.
We
are
96
of
the
way
through
this
fiscal
year,
almost
done
with
2021
at
get
lab
right,
yeah,
it's
fiscally
year,
22
next
year.
So
our
goal,
one
of
our
big
goals,
is
increase
website
traffic
20
year-over-year-
and
you
can
see
here
just
looking
at
a
very
simple
google
analytics
report
where
we're
at
with
those
numbers.
You
know
pretty
stable
to
what
they
were
last
week.
A
I
am
going
to
share
something
later
in
show
and
tell,
though,
that
is
really
exciting.
We're
looking
at
updating
this.
What
we're
reporting
here
to
only
include
inbound
sources,
so
organic
search,
people
that
you
know
are
tagged
direct
or
none
in
google
analytics
for
their
medium.
So
we
don't
know
you
know
exactly
where
they're
coming
from
non-paid
social
and
then
referral
traffic,
and
so
we're
gonna
group
that
together
and
use
that
to
measure
users
and
page
view
growth
coming
in
this
next
next
fiscal
year.
You
know.
A
Last
week
we
talked
a
little
bit
about
the
change
from
mqls
for
this
group
to
looking
at
inquiries,
and
I
see
something
in
the.
A
And
so
we're
moving
starting
next
next
fiscal
year
in
quarter,
one
we're
going
to
be
moving
from
using
mqls
for
our
measurement
for
kpi
and
kind
of
move
that
to
inbound
inquiries,
and
so
this
is
the
chart.
I
just
copied
the
picture
from
scisense
right
now
or
periscope,
and
you
can
see
here
that
there's
something
unusual
going
on
with
the
inquiries
here.
A
You
know
in
november
you
can
see
that
large
pink
bar
is
free,
gitlab.com
signups
and
for
some
reason
I
don't
know
if
those
are
not
coming
through
or
we're
not
counting
those.
So
I'm
following
up
on
that
with
the
marketing
strategy
team
to
understand
you
know,
what's
going
on
with
the
data,
is
this
something
that
you
know
is
just
not
being
pulled
in
or
did
we
change?
A
What's
reported
in
this
inquiry
report
so
working
on
that-
and
I
wanted
to
mention
that
this
week,
because
that's
kind
of
that
impacts
how
we
actually
think
about
inquiries
from
the
numbers
we
need
to
produce
moving
on
to
inbound
mqls.
A
So
the
good
news
here
is
that
we're
still
increasing
pace
as
we
get
you
know
towards
the
end
of
the
quarter.
Above
90
for
smb
now
approaching
90
for
mid
market
and
I
feel
confident
we're
gonna
hit
at
least
60
percent
on
the
the
pace
for
large.
When
we
look
at
this
once
the
quarter's
over,
so
you
know,
the
the
december
holiday
is
always
kind
of
the
unknown
variable
like
how
much
traffic
are
we
getting
it?
A
How
much
interest
are
we
gonna
get
during
that
time,
and
so
we
know
that
coming
out
of
that,
we
we
tend
to
you
know
pick
pace
back
up
as
we
close
out
january.
So
that's
everything
I
have
for
metrics
this
week.
Does
anybody
have
any
questions?
I
don't
see
any
questions
on
the
agenda
right
now,.
A
All
right
great
well
with
that,
then,
since
michael's,
not
on
the
call,
I'm
going
to
go
ahead
and
kick
off,
show
and
tell
this
is
just
a
section
where
we
share
the
things
we're
working
on.
You
know
we
encourage
you
to
share
something
on
your
screen
if
you
can,
and
so
with
that
I
know
we.
The
first
item
is
from
sarah
k,
but
she's
not
on
the
call,
so
rebecca
dodd
is
going
to
read
this
for
us.
C
Thanks
shane
just
one
moment:
okay,
so
I
asked
sarah
to
share
these
and
I
realized
it's
kind
of
out
of
the
scope
of
something
that
was
completed
last
week
or
this
week.
So
apologies
for
that.
I
wanted
to
share
two
roundup
posts
that
we
published
in
the
last
month
or
so,
and
these
are
part
of
our
okr
for
q4,
around
blog
promotion
and
distribution,
and
the
hope
here
is
to
drive
traffic
to
some
of
our
existing
posts
that
were
our
top
performing
posts
from
the
past.
C
This
is
a
way
to
kind
of
refresh
those
draw
people's
attention
to
them,
without
necessarily
kind
of
using
our
other
distribution
channels
like
social,
so
yeah.
It's
there's
a
lot
of
bang
for
your
buck
in
both
of
these
posts,
and
these
are
some
of
our
most
popular
stories
from
the
past
two
or
so
years.
So
I
would
encourage
you
to
check
them
out
this
one
is
more
about
the
kind
of
inside
get
lab
versus
how
to
use
gitlab
for
things.
C
So
these
are
the
sort
of
hard
tech
stories
from
our
engineering
org
about
how
they
did
huge
migrations
or
track
down
bugs
yeah.
Again,
pretty
meaty
there's
a
lot
to
digest
here
so
check
them
out
at
your
leisure,
and
I
think
it's
back
to
you.
Shane.
A
Thank
you
rebecca.
I
said
I
said,
thank
you
when
you
introduced
me
too,
so
I
appreciate
the
the
mute
call
out
as
well.
So
I
mentioned
this
in
the
metrics
section.
A
So
yeah,
so
I
just
accidentally
hit
the
stop
record
button.
So
now
we
have
to
smash
these
together
awesome.
So
let
me
share
my
screen.
A
Let's
see
here
all
right
great,
so
this
is
a
sheet
that
we're
working
on
that
summarizes
inbound
traffic.
So
you
can
see
you
know
you
know
going
back
to
november
2019
all
the
way
through
january
and
then
what
we're
rejected
to
be
at
by
the
end
of
the
month
for
inbound
users
and
then
what
that
change
looks
like
year
over
year.
So
you
know
when
you
look
at
you
know:
users
that
user
growth
we're
looking
at
in
the
sheet.
A
Where
we're
you
know
like
point,
eight
percent
we're
actually
seeing
you
know
in
november
and
december
16
and
15
percent
increases
there
a
little
bit
different
here.
But
then,
as
you
scroll
to
the
right,
you
move
into
like
specific
channels.
So
you
can
see
okay.
A
So
this
is
what
we
see
for
organic
search,
and
so
you
know
the
organic
search
team
looks
at
this
and,
like
is
very
concerned,
to
see
that
you
know
we're
dropping
here,
but
the
reality
is
is
that
we
see
this
huge
uptick
in
direct,
and
so
when
I
look
at
this,
there's
some
correlation
between
this
drop
in
organic.
What
we're
seeing
for
organic
search
and
then
what's
being
reported
in
direct
traffic
direct
just
means
that
google
analytics
says
hey.
We
don't
know
how
these
people
ended
up
on
your
website.
A
They
could
have
typed
the
address
into
the
address
bar.
They
could
have
come
from.
You
know
another
source
where
you
know
the
cookie
didn't
pass
the
source
to
us
or
some
reason
why
google
didn't
pass
that
channel
so,
but
the
cool
thing
about
this
is
that
now
these
all
these
numbers
are
automated,
so
danielle
manually
entered
all
these
numbers
originally
and
that's
you
know
like
just
going
into
google
analytics
and
like
hovering
over
the
line,
getting
the
number
and
putting
it
in
it's
really
tedious.
A
And
so
you
add
this
google
analytics
add-on
and
you
you
click,
create
new
report,
and
so
that's
where
you
generate
something
that
looks
like
this
and
then
you
just
set
the
the
the
you
know
the
parameters
here,
so
the
start
date
end
date.
What
metrics
you
want
to
look
at
the
dimensions
you
want
to
use
and
then
you
can
filter
it
out.
So
you
only
see
specific,
you
know
items
so
in
this
instance
we're
only
looking
at
organic
numbers
in
this
report.
A
A
And
then
every
day
at
4,
00
am
right.
So
now
that
I've
turned
on
this
automatic
update
for
this
report,
every
day
will
come
in
and
this
projected
number
and
this
actual
number
for
january
will
continue
to
update,
and
then
I
also
set
up
a
formula
so
that
now
we're
projecting
this
in
real
time.
So
every
time
this
number
gets
updated,
this
number
gets
updated
as
well,
and
so
I'm
really
excited
about
what
this
gives
us
the
opportunity
to
look
at
as
we
move
into
quarter.
A
A
We
have
this
many
visitors
and
we
want
to
you
know,
reach
this
number
of
inquiries
for
this
time
period,
so
this
is
kind
of
a
first
motion
towards
creating
a
model,
for
you
know
projecting
how
many
inquiries
we
need
to
generate
so
I'm
gonna
stop
sharing
now
and
let's
see
next
on
the
share
agenda,
we
have
siri
but
she's,
not
on
the
call
so
bree's
gonna
read
for
siri.
D
Yeah,
let
me
see:
oh
okay,
so
suri's
written
five
cluster
pages
this
quarter
and
we'll
have
three
more
published
by
the
end
of
the
quarter.
She's
very
grateful
for
niall's
help
in
identifying
identifying
the
target
keywords
and
offering
suggestions
on
how
to
approve
improve
the
seo
on
the
pages.
D
He's
been
super
generous
with
his
insight
and
advice
and
we're
constantly
actually
meeting
with
him
and
asking
him
questions
about
seo
and
keywords.
So
she's
listed
the
five
cluster
pages
that
she's
written
and
published,
and
I
will
let
everybody
click
on
them.
So
we
just
drive
that
traffic
right
up,
please
feel
free
to
share
val.
Has
the
next
one
and
I'll
read
that
too?
D
She
is
right
now
working
on
the
devsecops
survey
and
it's
going
to
be
launched
in
early
february,
so
be
on
the
lookout
for
that
the
results
of
that
survey
will
be
published
in
may
and
rebecca.
I
think
it's
back
to
you.
C
Thank
you.
So
I
did
share
this
in
slack,
but
I
thought
I'd
do
a
little
demo
here
in
case
anyone
missed
it
and
also,
then
I
can
show
you
the
images,
so
we
recently
added
the
option
to
choose
from
a
library
of
images.
If
you
are
writing
a
blog
post
and
you
don't
know
what
image
to
use
for
this,
we
call
it
a
cover
image
or
a
hero
image
at
the
top.
C
We
have
some
beautiful
illustrations
that
vic
created
that
touch
on
some
of
our
most
popular
topics
or
the
categories
that
are
used
most
often
so.
Here's
one
for
ci
cd
collaboration,
so
they're,
all
kind
of
in
the
style
with
gitlab
branding
and
those
are
free
for
anyone
to
use.
So
please
make
use
of
them
and
I'm
gonna
pass
over
to
lost
the
agenda.
Tyler.
E
Excellent,
thank
you.
So
let
me
share
my
screen.
This
week
we
deployed
some
changes
to
webpack
dev
server,
so
it'll
make
developing
a
little
more
efficient
for
for
the
about
doculab.com
site.
Sorry,
it's
early
morning,
I'm
like
not
a
morning
person,
so
here's
the
demo.
E
So
basically
nothing
has
changed
for
people
who
do
local
development
on
the
site
it's
built
in,
although
you
may,
if
you
once
you
pull
from
master,
you
may
need
to
change
your
yarn
dependencies,
but
the
idea
here
is
that,
instead
of
so
what
it
used
to
be
is
if
you
made
a
change
to
any
of
our
webpack
handled
assets,
mostly
our
css
and
javascript
webpack
would
change
the
files
and
then
middlemen
would
rebuild
and
for
anyone,
who's
run
middleman
locally.
They
know.
Oh,
I
actually
have
two
here's.
The
problem.
E
Middleman
takes
a
long
time
to
build
which
we're
seeing
what
you're
seeing
now
is
because
I've
switched
between
branches.
My
dependencies
are
out
of
sync.
E
So
if
you're
on
an
old
branch,
you
may
have
to
run
yarn,
install
you'll
need
to
rebase
to
fix
that
which
I
haven't
done
here,
but
before
when
we
change
the
css
and
javascript
files,
middleman
would
trigger
an
entire
rebuild
of
the
site
for
no
reason,
not
no
reason
but
unnecessarily
and
now
webpack
dev
server
is
handling
those
assets,
so
only
webpack
dev
server
will
rebuild
the
style
sheets
and
scripts
middlemen
won't
have
to
do
anything.
It'll
do
a
nice
live
reload
for
you,
and
I
will
show
you
how
to
do.
E
Other
things
to
keep
in
mind,
so
it's
middleman
still
will
rebuild
if
you
change
content,
so
this
is
not
fixed
like
the
long
build
times
if
you're,
editing,
actual
content
or
template
files,
but
this
will
be
really
good
for
developers
who
are
working
on
styles
and
scripts,
and
our
next
steps
on
this
are
going
to
be
fixing
up
a
couple
of
these
regressions.
E
A
couple
bugs
coming
out
and
bundling
things
more
tightly.
Middleman
should
be
ready
shortly.
I
can
see
it
all
right
come
on.
E
There
we
go
cool,
so
what
you'll
see
here
is
this
is
the
home
page
css.
If
I
change
the
font
weight
on
these
headings,
you
should
see
this
change
and
we'll
see
change
super
fast.
So
I'm
going
to
bump
this
to
600.
This
will
get
bigger.
E
E
This
is
the
curse
of
live
demos.
I
will
something's
up.
I
think
this
is
because
I
switched
switch
between
my
branches
to
haphazardly
and,
of
course,
first
time
screen
sharing
in
this
meeting,
so
it
is
cool.
Oh,
it
worked
as
soon
as
I
stopped
sharing
my
screen.
E
I
promise
you
that,
but
that's
30
seconds,
as
opposed
to
five
minutes
right
and
it's
a
little
bit
shorter
than
that
when
you've
got
the
branches
checked
out
appropriately
and
are
not
doing
a
live
demo
for
the
first
time
in
front
of
your
co-workers,.
F
F
I
don't
know
if
you
put
that
in
there
nile,
but
it
was
a
big
deal,
so
my
section
is
less
show
and
telling
more
informing
everybody
on
this
call
of
things,
I'm
working
with
christina
hoopy
on
a
gitlab
for
campuses,
page
that
they
want
to
launch
I'm
using
the
enterprise
page
as
the
like
template
with
them.
So
this
is
a
test
to
see
if
we
can
use
an
existing
page
to
try
to
streamline
our
request
instead
of
starting
something
new.
F
We
have
a
list
of
web
pages
that
need
to
be
updated
on
the
26th.
They
are
prioritized
and
there's
dris
on
them.
So
I
need
to
finish
up
make
sure
that's
complete
for
everybody.
Brandon
is
going
to
be
running
that
one.
We
have
a
rollout
plan
for
the
new
brand
messaging
that
deck
I
will
share
later,
because
right
now
it
looks
like
my
bedroom
in
high
school
and
finally,
the
partner
and
alliance's
webspace
the
I
have
the
issue
brief
ready
for
the
overview
page.
F
If
you
guys
want
to
take
a
look
at
that
and
we
will
have
the
story
of
gitlab
and
the
partners
completed
by
the
end
of
the
month,
so
that
will
start
getting
cleaned
up
and
ready
to
go.
So
I
am
now
done.
I
don't
see
anybody
else
on
here,
so
I
am
going
to
go
into
shout
outs.
So
this
is
a
time
to
just
thank
anybody
who
has
helped
you
contributed.
You
feel
gratitude
for,
and
this
is
it
could
be
on
this
team
or
anybody
else's
team.
So
I
will
hand
it
over
to
tina.
G
Hi
my
product,
my
brought
out
morning
for
me
too,
my
shoutout
goes
to
bren
we're
throwing
a
lot
of
issues
at
you
and
it's
probably
piling
up
on
top
of
your
existing
workloads.
So
thanks
for
making
time
for
us
as
we
get
through
this
cms
implementation,
next
is
lauren.
B
I
wanted
to
thank
tina
she's
been
collaborating
iterating
on
our
topic,
page
migration
process
amazingly
and
we're
getting
more
efficient,
but
it's
been
really
great
and
then
my
second
is
for
tyler,
I'm
so
excited
about
the
webpack
dev
server,
because
I
mean
it's
like
banging
your
head
on
a
fall
wall
trying
to
update
style
sheets
in
javascript
and
you're.
Like
okay,
I
made
a
change.
B
And
it's
just
really
hard.
So
now
it's
really
awesome,
so
I'm
really
excited
and
I
think
others
that
work
on
that
on
the
reba
are
gonna,
be
really
excited
too.
Okay,
that's
all.
