From YouTube: Email templates for Marketo, Litmus, etc
Description
What email templates we have available and how to use them
A
This
also
links
over
to
this
epic
right
here,
which
includes
some
more
details
and
screenshots
of
the
email
templates.
If
you
scroll
down
this
epic
as
well
as
potentially
like
more
information
about
about
these
templates
as
well,
but
for
a
second
I'm
going
back
to
the
handbook,
so
in
the
handbook,
you'll
see
the
names
of
the
email
templates
in
marketo.
A
A
A
If
I
look
at
the
email
template
folder
and
expand
that
folder,
you
should
see
the
email
templates
right
here,
a
b
c
d
and
e,
and
the
code
is
here.
If
you
edit,
the
draft
you'll
you'll
be
able
to
see
the
code
if
any,
if
any
changes
need
to
occur.
What
I'll
usually
do
is
cop
make
a
copy
of
this
by
cloning.
It
I'll
put
the
old
one
so,
for
example,
v1
here
or
v2
here
I'll
put
that
one
in
the
deprecated
email,
templates,
folder
and
I'll
rename
the
new
one
v.
A
The
code's
also
in
limits,
but
it's
probably
in
a
lot
of
different
places.
It's
kind
of
all
over
the
place.
There's
a
folder
that
I
created
here
has
the
letter
template,
so
it
has
a
letter
template
which
is
d.
A
This
folder
is
called
email
templates
marketo.
It
also
has
the
corporate
events,
which
is
actually,
I
should
probably
rename
this
corporate
events
is,
was
renamed
event
invite2.
Let
me
rename
it
real
quick.
A
Save
all
right
going
back
to
that
folder
and
litmus
once
again
in
limits
under
all
emails
and
then
scrolling
under
the
foldering
structure
to
marketo
so
c
is
the
letter
template
is
for
mailjet.
I
believe.
That's
just
actually
it's
not
this
letter
template
because
I
think
it
this
code
was
removed
and
it
has
a
developer
newsletter
and,
of
course,
just
walking
you
through
a
little
bit
more
of
litmus.
If
you
go
on
other
emails,
there's
a
lot
of
the
in
product
emails
here.
A
If
anybody
needs
a
copy,
there's
also
the
commit
2020
emails.
Those
are
all
in
here.
The
terms
of
service
price
updates,
say
I
minute
limits.
There's
a
there's,
a
lot
of
emails
so
take
a
look
and
as
well.
If
you
want
to
build
something
from
scratch,
I
have
a
video
that
goes
into
detail,
but
you
can
actually,
you
know.
A
Build
something
here:
the
master
template
is
here.
So
if
you
want
to
build
something
new,
you
can
actually
pick
main
modular
template.
This
has
all
the
modules
also
has
the
remote
template.
A
So
you
can
pick
that
here
and
you
can
start
removing
the
sections
that
you
don't
want.
So
I'm
not
going
to
go
into
detail
because
I
have
another
video
that
goes
into
a
little
bit
more
detail
on
that,
but
I
just
want
to
remind
everybody
that
these
are
all
these
all
include:
marketo
syntax,
so
they
are
editable
not
using
any
code
and
just
keep
in
mind
that
jackie
just
a
note
for
you,
I
don't
believe
that
our
new
program
templates
include
the
updated
the
updated
email
template.
A
So
just
keep
that
in
mind.
This
updated
one
v
2.0,
I
believe
it's
being
used
by
gitlab-
gives
I'm
not
sure
what
that
is,
but
a
little
bit
here,
but
the
old
one
had
had
a
few
problems
with
the
button,
so
I
think
I
fixed
it
for
v
2.0
and
this
one.
A
The
two
button
first
can
be
used
here,
but
I
just
want
to
remind
everybody:
I'm
gonna
preview,
this
email
template
just
a
reminder
to
everyone
that
this
template
is
basically
coded
in
rows
and
so
rows
are
edit
editable
removable.
You
can
remove
a
row,
you
can
completely
remove
it.
You
can
duplicate
it
or
you
can
move
it
around.
A
A
Also,
if
you
want
speakers
you
can,
but
you
have
more
than
two
speakers,
you
can
duplicate
the
two
speakers.
They
become
four.
If
you
don't
have
speakers,
you
can
remove
the
speaker
call
out
here
and
the
speaker
section
same
with
this,
this
additional,
like
gray,
callout
box,
and
I
go
through
the
this
a
little
bit
more
in
detail
in
the
copy
doc
template.
If
you
click
on
the
copy
doc,
template
you'll
see
that
I
have
basically
the
temp
the
email
template
kind
of
the
the
look
of
it.
A
But
I
have
some
notes
like
you
can
include
one
button
or
two
buttons
do
not
include
both.
This
section
is
optional
for
the
for
the
the
gray
sub
headline,
and
then
the
speaker
section,
you
know,
attach
images
in
the
issue.
The
image
specs
are
in
the
handbook.
A
The
whole
section
can
be
duplicated
to
show
four
speakers,
six
speakers,
for
example,
I
wouldn't
put
more
than
six
and
then
this
whole
gray
section
can
be
deleted
as
well.
So
these
are,
these
are
the
templates.
So
let
me
go
back
to
litmus
for
a
second
created
this
test
for
you
to
see.
A
Let's
see
I
feel
like
I
should
have
more
templates
here,
but
just
a
reminder
that
if
anybody
needs,
for
example,
like
the
commit
emails,
they
do
not
include
marketo
syntax.
So,
just
once
again,
the
these
templates
here
in
marketo,
a
b
c
d
and
e-
do
include
marketo
syntax,
which
allows
non-coders
to
edit
the
layout.
A
little
bit
add
add
text
in
marketo
a
lot
of
the.
A
A
lot
of
the,
for
example,
the
commit
emails,
do
not
have
marketo
syntax,
so
you
would
really
have
to
make
your
edits
by
cloning.
This
email,
for
example,
duplicating
it
and
then
you
could.
You
know,
change
this
image
here,
change
this
copy
and
then
you
can
go
to
code
and
you
can
copy
this
code
save
as
a
does
it
allow
you
to
export
oops
sorry.
A
Oh
there
it
is
export.
I
was
like
where's
export
copy,
html
or
you
can
download
html,
and
then
you
would
give
that
to
vertical
to
execute
in
marketo.
A
So
that's
just
a
reminder
for
people
that
have
access
to
litmus.
You
can
make
edits
here
if
it's
not
a
template
with
marketo
syntax
and
also,
if
you're
in
marketo,
and
you
try
to
find
my
test.
Folder
give
me
one.
Second.
A
And
that
will
open
a
new,
so
new
test,
email
and
what
you'll
do
is
go
to
my
templates
here
and
let's
say
you
want
c.
Let's
say
you
want
to
use
template
c,
that's
not
operational
open!
An
editor
create
that
will
allow
you
to
choose
template
c.
You'll
want
to
make
all
the
changes
here
and
then
here
is
where
you
can
start
making
your
changes
to
the
actual
layout
of
the
email.
A
So
what
you
want
to
do
is
you
want
to
edit
what's
on
the
right
side
as
much
as
you
can
so,
for
example,
headline
text?
You
would
edit
that
here.
So
this
is
a
test,
email!
A
Okay,
you
can
put
a
new
background
image
by
selecting
it,
I'm
picking
something
random.
You
can
edit
your
sub,
so
headline
text
goes
here
all
right,
so
I'm
gonna.
Let's
say
you
want
to
edit
this
text.
You
can
actually
edit
right
here,
edit
and
it'll
open
up
your
wysiwyg,
make
sure
you
edit
it
here
cancel.
A
Let's
say
I
want
to
delete
this
two
button
section,
because
I
don't
want
to
use
it,
I'm
going
to
go
ahead
and
click
on
the
gear
icon
and
I'm
going
to
delete
cool.
So
now
it
leaves
me
with
the
button.
You
can
add
your
link
here.
You
can
change
your
button
text
here.
This
does
not
allow
you
to
change
the
color
of
the
button.
The
color
of
the
button
is
in
the
code.
A
Alternatively,
if
you
really
need
something
vertical,
can
edit
the
the
code
for
you,
but
that's
not
something
that
we
recommend
without
testing.
First,
all
right
so
here,
if
you
kind
of
hover
over
this
section
with
these
speakers,
it'll
allow
you
to
put
in
a
new
image
left
image.
So
let's
say
for
design
studio
swap
it'll.
Allow
you
to
put
does
not
allow
you
put
alt
text,
that's
okay!
It's
unfortunate!
A
That's!
Okay!
Oh
no!
I
think
I
did
that
on
purpose
because
you
can
put
their
their
name
their
name
you.
You
can
link
the
image
which
I
recommend.
You
link
the
image
you
put
their
first
and
last
name
job
title
company,
and
then
you
do
the
same
thing
for
the
right
image
and
if
you
do
want
this
section
duplicated,
you
just
click
on
the
gear
and
you,
oh,
I
think
I
just
did
I
move
it.
I
moved
it
up.
Let
me
move
it
back
down.
A
You
want
to
duplicate
this
section,
just
give
marketo
a
minute
to
think
so
when
you
duplicate
it
now,
you
have
four
speakers
so
you'd
want
to
just
edit.
A
You
your
link
here,
your
text
and
that's
it.
You
want
to
leave
the
footer,
as
is
you
don't
want
to
edit
the
footer
and
you
don't
want
to
edit
the
the
logo
image
really,
but
your
subject
you're
from
reply
to
etc.
A
One
thing
to
keep
in
mind:
here's
where
things
get
kind
of
annoying,
because
this
email
template
uses
so
many
variables
and
variables
are
what
tells
marketo
you
know
the
you
know.
I
want
the
center
button
link
to
default
to
this.
I
want
the
center
button
button
text
to
default,
to
learn
more
because
it
uses
that
it
doesn't
pull
any
of
the
text
over
to
your
text
only
version.
A
So
unfortunately,
you
kind
of
have
to
like
you
know
if
you
have
a
copy
doc
copy
your
copy,
doc
and
paste
it
in
the
text.
Only
version-
and
that's
it
you
want
to
you-
know,
go
through
the
process
the
regular
way-
and
this
is
probably
the
most
complicated
email
template.
A
lot
of
them
are
a
little
bit
more
simple.
A
So
and
once
again,
just
just
a
reminder:
you
can
move
things
up
or
down,
you
can
duplicate
or
you
can
delete
a
section
all
right
and
that's
it
that's.
I
think
I
think
that's
it.
I
hope
you
don't
have
any
questions,
but
if
you
do
go
ahead
and
put
them
in
slack
on
my
last
day,
I
can
answer
them
for
you.
