in

thing
now.
My
isp
in
the
netherlands
here
offers
me
one
gigabit
per
second
download
and
50
mbps
upload
and
I'm
kind
of
still
complaining
to
them
that
that's
kind
of
no.
I
need
more
upload
speed,

is
weird.

definitely
get
mad.

mean

just
at

beginning
of

guess

slow

can't
handle

lot
going
on
in
nigeria.

think
nigeria
isn't
a
complicated
space.
We
have.
There
are
lots
of
awesome,
creative
and
great
people
who
are
like
everywhere
in
the
world
now
who
are
always
being
brought

down
by
the
politics
and
all
the
things
going
on,
but
it
gets
worse
in
nigeria,
where
change
desired.
Change
is
not
being
been
seen
by
people,
and
every
effort
to
move
into
the
21st
century
is
being
brought
back
by
some
of
the
old
people
that
want
to
retain
power.

can't
do
something
wrong
and
there's
a
consequence
for
it,
but
in
a
lot
of
things
in
nigeria
you
can
get
away
with
a
lot
of
things
without
consequence.
No
one
said
here
that
there
are
two
things
are
inevitable.

most
western
countries,
debt

tell

get
away
with
tax
in
nigeria.

see

of
people
in
america
living
without

hopefully

something

we
can
see

idea

passport,
I
don't
know
that
they
would

the
least

your

reason

would

percent
when
I
moved

netherlands,

long

visa
denials.

denied
visa
by
the

three
times.

been
denied
visa
by
several
countries.

engineer,
and
the
number
of
countries
I
can
visit
is
very
limited,
mostly
some
african
countries,
there
are
southern
african
countries
that
I
can't
visit
either
due
to
visa
issues
or
so
on
and
so
on,
and
it
was
during
a
gitlab
offsite
in
cape
town
that
eliran,
I
think
one
of
the
directors
within
the
company
suggested.

gitlab
can
sponsor
your

residency
in
the
netherlands.

move

companies

this
big
push
in
tech
right
now
to
bring
diversity
to

forefront
and
it's
fantastic
that
that's
something
that
many
tech
companies
are
focusing
on.
But
unfortunately,
a
lot
of
them
are
focusing
on
diversity,
with
a
sort
of
a
blind
eye
to
real
issues,
and
that
seems
to
be
a
lot
of
what
your
talk
was
about.
Can
you
tell
us
more
about
that.

is
no
local
knowledge
and
these
companies
don't
do
their
research
before
just
kick
starting
whatever
program
they
want
to
do.
For
example,
they
might
assume
that
okay,
whatever
works
in
the
us
or
whatever
works
in
europe
or
works
in
the
middle,
you
should
also
work
in
africa.
But
first
the
ignorance
comes
from
hey.
You
see
a
lot
of
people
say:
hey
I'm
going
to
africa
I'll,
be
like
okay.

part
of
africa
are
you
going
to?
There
are
52
countries
in
africa
or
sometimes
you
meet
people
and
they're
like
hey.
Are
you
from
africa?

would
say
yes
and
they
will
start
describing
to
me
something
that
they
experienced
one
time

I
know
the
place
and
based
on
the
video
experience
I
was
like.
Okay,
probably
are
speaking
of
the
safari

a
deeper
knowledge
of
africa
as
a
country
as
a
continent
is
extremely
important,

one
part
that
a
lot
of
people
lack
and
why
most

initiatives
usually
fail
and
one

want
to
treat
africa
as
one
entity
but
fail
to
understand
that
there
are
several
languages
on

continent?
English
is
just
one
of
the
languages,

most
of
northern
africa
speaks
arabic.

countries

west,
africa
have
english,
as
as
the
official
language,
a
lot
of
them
speak
french,
the
swahili
there's
quite
a
lot
of
them,
and
sometimes
a
lot
of
content
from
these
companies
come
in
english.
So
if
you
are
doing
english,
for
example,
like
cameroon,
the
english-speaking
part
of
cameron
is
french-speaking.
So
if
you
bring
something
in
english,
you
are
only
targeting
just
half
of
the
country
or
a
part
of
the
country
of
the
country.
So,
and
one
other
mistake
is
someone
will
go
to
cape
town,
do
a
program
and
say
hey.

went

africa
and
we
did
this
with
this
initiative.

just
targeted
a
single
country,
a
single
city
in
a
single
country,
out

a
continent
with
52
countries,
so
it

most
times
disheartening
that
people

broke

necessarily
considering
the
level
of
diversity
within
the
continent
itself.

diversity

africa

all

this
up

being
ignored.

absurd
to
think
that
that
you're
really
doing
something

africa

doing
it
for
is
just
kenya,
just
nigeria,
just
south
africa.

just
morocco
like
that,
doesn't
count
as
africa.
The
same
way
you
could
be
like.
Oh
yeah,
I
visited

america,

and
all
you
saw
was

angeles.

one

you

people

approach

understanding

not
listening

partners.

want

dump

things
on
you
and

should
just
take
it.

typical
initiative
that
usually
come
with
is
with
most
companies
that
wants
their
programs
to
be

be
understood.

you
are
a
cloud
provider
who

does

lot
of
things
with
kubernetes
and
all
you
just
want
to
call
is
for
free
to
learn
communities.

Do
you
really
understand
if
kubernetes
is
the
exact
thing
that
the
students
or
the
people
actually
need
now
or
there's
a
lot
of
other
background
initiatives
that
need
to
come
on
for
them
to
get
to
that
communities
level?
Now

one

thing

due
to
this:
the
the
travel
within
africa.
It's
very
complex.
It
is
easier
for
me
to
travel
from
the
india
to
the
netherlands
than
to
travel
to
somewhere,
like
kenya
or
ethiopia
or
down
to
south
africa.
So
a
lot
of
companies
don't
necessarily
consider
this.
They
just
feel
like.

need
to
do
this

need
to
attend.
We
are
trying
to
help
you,
so
you
just
do
whatever
it
is.
That's
that

you
get

when

work
with
people

partners,

as
bosses

partner
with

empowerment

you

doing
it

something

not
doing
it
for
free
either
for
publicity
or

some
figures
you
want
to
show
as
your
kpi
or
some

some
way,
but
it
shouldn't
just
be
like
okay,

just

should
take
whatever

of
the
mistakes.

people

legitimate
businesses

legitimate
people
that

doing

new
startup

ecosystem

community.

lots

innovations,
lots
of
unicorn
startups.

you
take
the
netherlands,
the
whole
of
the
netherlands
and
fit
it
into
toru
lokagami,
it's
a
local
government
in
not
eastern
nigeria,
you
will
still
get
some
land.
That's
a
whole
country
will
fit
into
a
local
government
in
terms
of
land
mass,
so
it's
so
huge
as
a
country
not
to
talk
of
the
whole
continent
that
you
now
use
just
one
photo
op
of
just
one
remote
location,
some
way
to
not
judge.
Oh
this
is
africa.
They
are
poor.
They
are
these.

generally,
the
whole
country
might
be
below
poverty
like,
but
that
doesn't
mean
every
single
person
in
the
country
is
living
on
less
than
a
dollar
a
day.
So
it's

very
important
to
always
put
like
mindful
messaging,
how
you
put
your
message
out
there,
how
you,
even
if
it's
a
photo
op
you
want
to
do
at
least
represent
the
people
with
some
dignity.

people
see
flying
as

of
luxury
so
and
most
most
of
the
airlines
are
compared
to
other
places,
are
kind
of
low
quality.
Let
me
just
put
it
that
way.
So,
a
lot
of-
and
there
are
certain
parts
of
the
country
where
there
are
no
flights
totally.
There
are
some
airports
who
probably
only
see
one
flight
per
week
or.

those
that
have
more
flights
are
probably
in
flights
a
day,
so
most
flights
are
between
the
capital
city,
that's
abuja
and
also
the
commercial
city,
the
main
commercial
city
which
is
lagos.
So
there
it's
like
tons
of
flight
between
those
cities
every
time,
every
other
part
of
the
country
that
has
an
airport.
It's
probably
just
some
space
where
the
politicians
decide
to
land
when
they
are
flying
their
privileges,
then
allow
we
the
masses
to
fly
once
in
a
while.

think
most
the
mistakes
most
communities
do
is
okay,
I

I
host
an
event
around
probably
how
you
can
build
applications
using
java
and
so
on,
but
after
the

what
pipeline
is
day
next
time

you

what
I
mean
by
pipeline
is
from
the

events
you've
held.
How
do
you
intend
to
move
the
person
to

learn

resources
that
can
be

to
learn
and

grow
themselves.

jobs

they

back

their
community

within
their
cities,
they
become
mentors
to
others.

share
the
knowledge
