Description
A
Hello,
I'm
Tim
I'm,
the
product
manager
for
the
packaged,
a
jacket
lab
and
today,
I,
wanted
to
give
a
quick
overview
of
a
new
feature.
That's
launching
in
milestone,
12.10
and
actually
is
available
on
lab
calm
now.
So
one
of
the
problems
that
people
face
if
they're
hosting
a
lot
of
packages
in
the
--get
lab
packet
registry
is
that
it
can
be
difficult
to
find
a
given
package
by
name.
So
this
issue
proposed
the
idea
of
adding
in
a
filter
by
name
component
to
the
user
interface.
A
You
could
see
an
example
here,
but
let's
dive
into
an
example
project,
so
this
project
called
MPM
package.
Strutter
has
many
different
packages.
We
can
see
here
the
tab
view
we
have.
We
could
see
all
of
our
packages
and
it
spans
multiple
pages,
and
then
we
could
see
if
I
click
I
could
see
one
Konan
package,
one
maven
and
a
lot
of
NPM
packages.
So
if
I
search
here,
I
could
search
for.
Let's
look
for
the
maven
named
maven
package
and
there
it
is
like
we'll
click
on
it.
This
also
works.
A
If
you're
on,
let's
say
I,
didn't
see
it
in
the
first
page
here
and
I
was
scrolled
over
to
the
third
page
and
I
searched,
they
would
still
find
it.
So
this
it
doesn't
matter
which
page
you're
on
it's
actually
looking
through
all
of
the
results.
So
from
now
on,
if
you're
looking
for
a
package,
you
don't
have
to
just
utilize
the
sort
functionality
you
could
also
search
for
a
package
name
as
well.
Okay,
that's
this
feature.
It'll
be
available
in
1210
for
self
manage
instances,
and
it's
available
now
on
get
lab
comm.
As
always.
