Hi, my name is Erica Lewinsky and I'm the product manager for the progressive delivery group here at good love today, I wanted to show you.

You know something that n called typed in us environment variables for access keys and region, o the issue number with two six: seven, seven, seven and I'll just explain briefly what we did here and then I'll demo it so in order to make the life easier of anyone to play into AWS and using environment variables, we saw that it's a very common practice to use repeating variables such as access, key ID, secret access, key and default region, and it's a little bit annoying to type that in so what we did was we added an autocomplete feature.

So in order to do so, you need to go to your project settings under CIA, CD.

Variables now you can add your variables once you step in AWS, you'll get an autocomplete offering these three variables access key ID default region secret access key at the moment. We have only added these three variables if you're interested in us, adding more as always, welcome either on this issue, two six, seven, seven, seven or in a new issue. If you think that's going to help you out we'd love to expand what we're doing here. Another thing that I want to point out on this new feature, but it comes with built-in validation.

So what we're validating is two different variables. One is the key ID which we're allowing 20 characters off an America string, as defined in they WS documentation and for AWS secrets, we're allowing a 40 characters, string string in a similar way. Some feedback that we received about this is that the validation is unnecessary, and this can be seen in issue two one: five, five, five, seven and I would love to hear feedback.
