From YouTube: Calendly - Availability Schedule Setup
Description
Jason Colyer, Support Operations Manager, takes us through setting up availability schedules in Calendly.
A
Hey
all,
especially
those
of
you
in
support.
Recently,
we
changed
in
countley
going
over
to
using
your
personal
availability
schedules
instead
of
manually
in
each
event
setting
the
times
we
posted
a
couple
times
about
it,
but
it
occurs
to
me
it's
a
little
confusing
on
how
to
set
it
up.
So
I
worked
a
lot
with
some
people
in
support
to
figure
out
kind
of
a
better
method
to
tackle
this
one.
That
way,
everybody
has
the
ability
to
use
the
events
as
needed,
but
it
will
still
respect
your
availability.
A
So,
to
start,
I
just
kind
of
wanted
to
go
through
actually
setting
your
availability,
some
things
that
you
should
do
and
yeah
kind
of
go
from
there.
So
let
me
share
my
screen
all
right,
so
when
you
first
log
into
conley,
you
know
you'll,
see
the
home
page
like
this
to
set
your
availability
you're,
going
to
click
availability
up
at
the
top
right
here-
and
yours
might
look
like
this
when
you
start
it
might
auto
populate
it
with
like
eight
to
five
or
some
weird
time
event.
A
But
what
you're
going
to
want
to
do
for
the
beginning
of
this
is
set
your
availability,
so
mine
is
normally
8
to
16..
That's
normally,
when
I'm
available,
I'm
going
to
quick
copy.
This
just
like
this
to
monday
through
friday,
to
be
easy.
You
can
set
each
one
manually
if
you
so
wish.
This
is
just
a
quick,
easy
way
to
do
it
as
you
make
the
changes
it
auto
saves.
This
is
my
default
schedule.
A
What
I
would
also
recommend
doing
is
making
a
second
availability
schedule
just
called
unavailable
and
unavailable.
I
would
suggest
just
making
yourself
completely
unavailable
this
way.
We
can
add
you
to
an
event
and
just
set
your
calendar
unavailable,
so
you'll
never
be
round
robin
or
anything
like
that.
A
This
is
pretty
recommend.
I
would
recommend
doing
it.
This
way,
just
remember
to
set
your
time
zone
based
on
your
your
location
and
your
time
zone,
because
things
like
daylight
savings
will
take
this
into
effect.
A
You
know
stuff
like
that,
but
if
you
set
it
to
uct
utc,
it's
going
to
use
utc,
it
won't
take
daylight
savings
into
effect.
If
your
region
does
daylight
savings,
it's
going
to
cause
some
scheduling
issues
with
you,
so
make
sure
you
set
it
to
the
time
zone
that
fits
for
you.
There
are
a
ton
of
them
listed
here,
so
you
know
you
can
use
the
search
bar
to
kind
of
figure
out,
but
it
also
lists
the
time
on
the
right
side
here.
A
So
you
can
see
what
time
it
is
and
kind
of
correlate
that
to
you
know
your
current
time,
I
would
set
the
default
schedule.
You
know
I
I'm
actually
going
to
edit
it,
so
you
can
click
this
gear
icon
and
edit
the
name
and
I'm
going
to
call
this
available
or
something
like
that
except
I
misspelled
it.
You
might
call
it
like
working
hours,
something
along
those
lines.
I
would
recommend
creating
both
of
these.
A
That
way
when
ops
has
to
make
changes,
or
we
make
new
events,
we
can
basically
have
people,
be
unavailable,
use
this
unavailable
schedule
and
then,
as
they
get
added
to
the
event,
move
them
to
their
defaults.
One,
the
working
hours
or
whatever
it
is
ops,
has
some
visibility
into
what
the
schedules
are
when
we
set
it,
but
it's
a
lot
of
manual
process
to
check
for
100
plus
people.
A
You
can
click
the
calendar
view
to
see
kind
of
what
this
looks
like,
but
honestly
this
probably
isn't
as
useful.
Another
cool
thing
you
can
do
is
add
these
dates
to
over
add
dates
when
your
availability
changes
from
your
weekly
hours.
So
let's
say
like
I'm
going
on
pto
on
the
22nd,
so
I
might
want
to
say
I'm
not
available.
A
I
can
you
know
do
that
for
these
days,
where
I'm
going
to
be
unavailable
like
that's
so
now,
I've
got
this
event.
If
I
go
to
the
calendar
view,
this
is
actually
where
it
gets
useful.
You
can
see
how
it
now
says
I
am
unavailable
for
those
days.
This
is
kind
of
useful.
If
you're
going
on
pto
there,
you
know
you've
set
up
pto
by
roots.
A
You've
set
all
this
stuff
up
so
that
you
don't
have
to
worry
about
it,
but
telling
calmly
never
hurts
as
kind
of
an
overview
of
how
calmly
works
when
it
sets
schedules
or
determines
you
are
available,
it's
going
to
go
by
your
availability
schedule
and
then
buy
the
calendar
that
you've
integrated
into
it.
So,
let's
say
yeah,
I'm
available
eight
to
four,
but
I
have
a
meeting
from
you
know:
2
p.m,
to
3
p.m.
It's
not
going
to
say
I'm
available
there,
because
I
have
a
busy
event
blocking
that
time.
A
It's
really
all
there
is
to
setting
schedules
setting
your
availability
in
calmly.
I
highly
recommend
doing
this
method
of
the
working
hours
in
an
unavailable.
There
will
be
an
issue.
You
know
there
will
be
issues
if
you
have
one
or
the
other
you're
trying
to
constantly
change
it.
I
recommend
kind
of
doing
a
working
hours
unavailable,
so
it's
easy
to
swap
between
them
as
needed
and
then
also
using
these
date
overrides
as
you
see
fit.
It's
also
really
good.
A
A
You
can
do
that
and
then
add
an
availability.
That
way
you
know,
you've
got
that
set
and
just
remember
click
every
day
that
it
applies
for,
if
you
ever
need
to,
you
know,
get
rid
of
them,
just
click
the
garbage
can
next
to
them,
and
that's
all
there
is
to
it.
You'll
constantly
see
those
little
things
they've
saved.
Always
you
can
use
the
calendar
view
to
make
sure
it's
updated
as
you
wish
yeah.
So
that's
not
really.
All
there
is
to
setting
up
your
availability.
