From YouTube: Support Ops - Zendesk - Editing Ticket Forms
Description
Jason Colyer, Support Operations Manager, takes us through how to edit ticket forms in Zendesk
A
Greetings
all
my
name
is
jason
carr,
I'm
the
support
operations
manager
here
at
get
lab,
and
today
we're
going
to
go
over
editing
a
ticket
form
in
this
desk
ui.
So
let
me
share
my
screen
and
we
can
get
started
to
edit
a
ticket
field
you're
going
to
need
to
access
the
admin
panel,
which
will
be
done
with
the
gear
icon
on
the
left,
then
under
manage
look
for
ticket
forms.
A
And
then
locate
your
ticket
form
so
we're
going
to
edit
the
test
form,
because
we
made
that
the
past
video
but
you're
going
to
hover
over
this
and
just
click
it,
and
here
you
can
start
editing
stuff.
So
let's
say
we
wanted
to
move
some
stuff
around,
maybe
remove
a
couple
fields,
et
cetera,
et
cetera,
and
we
can
save
it
now.
Here's
an
important
note-
and
I
did
this
on
purpose-
you
notice
that
it
wouldn't
save,
because
due
date
notes
is
a
condition
it's
using
conditions,
so
I
can't
remove
it.
A
This
is
important,
it
won't
let
you
remove
something.
That
is
a
condition.
So
if
we
wanted
to
remove
that,
we
would
need
to
go
over
here
highlight
over
and
click
three
dots
go
to
conditions
to
edit
conditions,
and
since
this
is
what's
using
due
date
notes,
we
would
want
to
remove
this
save
our
changes
go
ahead
and
get
rid
of
our
notifications
here.
A
At
this
point
I
can
go
back
in
the
form
and
then
now
I
can
remove
the
due
date
notes,
so
I
can
go
ahead
and
remove
two
day
notes
and
save
yeah.
So
that's
all
there
really
is
to
editing
it.
You
would
click
this
edit.
Whatever
you
need,
so
you
know
test
form.
Two,
please
say
test
one
two,
please
do
not
use
you'd
click,
the
blue
save
button
when
you're
done
with
that
and
then
to
edit
conditions,
it's
gonna
be
just
like
creating
them
hover
over
click.
Three
dots
go
to
conditions
make
your
edits.
A
It
can
be
finicky
and
learning.
The
ins
and
outs
of
the
styling
can
be
tricky,
but
you'll
get
used
to
it
as
you
do
it
more
and
more.
If
you
ever
need
assistance
with
this
reach
out
to
your
fellow
support,
ops,
team
members
or
support
office
manager,
we're
always
willing
to
help.
I
hope
you
found
this
educational
and
I
look
forward
to
seeing
you
in
the
next
video.
