From YouTube: Support Ops - Zendesk - Creating extensions and webhooks
Description
Jason Colyer, Support Operations Manager, takes us through how to create Zendesk extensions and webhooks
A
A
All
right
so
to
get
started
with
creating
an
extension
you're
going
to
need
to
go
to
the
admin
panel
by
clicking
this
gear
icon
on
the
left
from
here
scroll
all
the
way
at
the
bottom
to
the
settings
and
click
on
extensions
and
you're
going
to
click.
The
add
target
link
in
the
top
right
here
now
from
here
you're
going
to
select
the
target.
A
A
What
we're
gonna
actually
have
our
target
do
is
just
do
a
get
request
to
my
profile
in
get
we
want
to
get
if
we
were
using
credentials.
We
could
put
those
here
we're
not
going
to
for
this,
and
then
we
want
to
test
the
target
by
clicking
submit.
We
don't
need
to
send
any
parameters
for
this
and
we
got
a
200
okay,
and
I
can
go
here
and
see
yeah
there's
the
get
lab
page
coming
up
like
we
would
want
it
to
so.
A
Once
we've
tested
make
sure
we're
good
we're
going
to
go
to
create
target
this
drop
down
here
and
click.
The
black
submit
button
with
that
done.
Our
trigger
is
our
target.
Our
extension
is
created
and
we're
good
to
go
to
start
using
it
in
triggers
and
automations
now
for
web
hooks.
You
need
to
access
the
admin
center,
so
you
click
these
four
squares
up
here
and
go
to
admin
center
from
here.
Go
to
integrations.
A
You
can
also
click
here
to
go
to
it
and
you
want
to
click
web
hooks
now,
we'll
need
to
create
a
web
hook,
so
go
to
actions
create
web
hook,
we're
going
to
make
it.
This
is
a
test.
A
We
want
to
do
a
get
request.
Json
is
fine
for
the
format
authentication
because
we
don't
need
it.
We
want
to
click
test
web
hook,
though,
and
send
a
test.
In
this
case
we
got
a
200.
We
can
go
to
the
response
headers
and
see
all
this
fun
stuff.
We
can
see
how
it
loaded
the
page
so
once
we're
in
a
good
place
with
the
web
hook.
We
want
to
click
create
now
here,
it'll,
give
you
the
option
to
start
adding
it
to.
You
know
triggers
and
automations.
