A
Hello,
everyone
welcome
to
the
August
2018
update
or
project
Gorgon
I.
Am
your
project
manager,
Jared
Maroney?
Here's
the
agenda
for
today's
call
bit
of
an
ovary,
wad
Gorgon.
What
have
we
done
last
month
and
why
are
we
doing
this
month?
Some
important
dates
for
you
to
be
aware
of
so
Gorgon
is
all
about
delivering
smart
contracts
for
the
Cardano
platform.
It
involves
changes
to
our
architecture.
We've
got
a
settlement
layer.
A
So
last
month
we
continued
our
our
work
on
side
chains
to
Merrick,
Ledger's
and
multi-currency.
The
research
is
maturing
and
we're
also
in
the
process
of
during
the
formal
methods,
work,
prototypes
and
models
which
informs
from
the
research
so
we're
happy
with
how
that's
going
for
Pluto.
So
we
finished
coding
of
the
core
library-
and
this
is
the
processing
and
execution
modular.
Plutus
core
reads:
rights,
type,
checking
and
executing
of
previous
programs,
and
when
our
testing
is
for
Marlowe
we're
almost
finished.
A
So
she
allows
us
to
take
to
his
programs
and
have
the
compiled
on
tle
and
run
on
dl
e
vm
and
somatic
compilation,
which
allows
us
to
define
the
semantics
of
a
language
and
and
then
create
a
compiler.
So
you
can
translate
from
one
language
to
the
other
for
NGOs
and
external
developers.
Our
product
manager
started
working
with
and
talking
to
the
community
on
telegram
trying
to
get
feedback
about
what's
important
to
the
community
and
how
we
can
best
serve
that
need
for
integration.
A
We've
had
a
workshop
in
in
the
University
of
Edinburgh
last
week,
where
our
scientists
and
engineers
got
together
along
with
the
senior
management.
The
company
to
discuss
where
we
are
with
Gogan
how
the
research
is
gone
and
how
we
implement
the
research
work
into
the
into
the
code
in
an
efficient
and
timely
manner,
we're
starting
work
on
the
documentation
for
Plutus
and
Merlot.
It's
all
well
and
good
to
have
some
great
software,
but
we
have
some
educational
materials
and
reference
documentation
for
people.
They
won't
be
able
to
use
it
properly.
A
So
we're
starting
a
plan
now
to
develop
the
educational
machine,
material
and
technical
content
for
that
Quality
Assurance
is
progressing
very
well.
Our
QAS
are
looking
at.
How
do
we
improve
the
quality
of
our
software,
adding
more
tests,
look
at
automation
and
also
looking
at
being
able
to
test
performance
every
time
we
do
a
new
build
just
to
make
sure
that
everything
that
goes
out
performs
better
than
what
was
there
before
for
marketing
and
external
communications
I
guess!
A
Last
month
we
we
spent
a
lot
of
time
listening
to
the
community
and
there
were
lots
of
questions
about
the
early
goth
model
which
we're
going
to
be
addressing
in
September,
and
very
few
issues
were
encountered
on
our
artists
net.
So
we're
pleased
about
that
so
we'll
be
telling
you
more
about
the
only
gas
model,
as
I
said
in
September
and
plans
for
this
month.
So
architecture
integration
is
a
big
focus.
A
So
out
of
a
the
workshop
in
Edinburgh,
we
got
options
for
how
we're
going
to
implement
smart
contracts
and
gogin
and
that's
going
to
be
discussed
and
the
most
appropriate
option
picked.
It
doesn't
change
our
plan,
they
just
moderate
the
approach
and
I'll
do
any
more
about
that
in
the
next
objects.
At
the
beginning
of
October,
we're
going
to
advance
the
work
on
Marlowe
and
Buddhist
development,
so
we're
going
in
Marla
we're
going
to
be
looking
at
how
to
start
integrating
the
language
into
Cardinal
and
for
Plutus.
