trying

see
how
we

include
everyone
and
give
opportunities
to
everyone.

planned

through
one
of
the
competitions
that

held
last

an

why
you're
here
in
the
first
place,

what
is
this
thing
called
project
catalyst.
So
catalyst
is
cardano's
innovation
engine
we
take
the
traditional
grant
funding
model
and
turn
it
entirely
on
its
head.
What
do
I
mean
by
that?

Well,
you
guys
in
the
community,
you
can
submit
requests
for
funding
to
deliver
projects,
whether
it's
developing
software
or
maybe
delivering
some
marketing
engagements
and
activations
or
anything
that
is
for
the
benefit
of
The
Wider
cardano
ecosystem.
You
submit
proposals
into
one
of
the
funding
rounds,
we're
on
fun,
10
right
this
second
we're
Midway
through
fun,
10.
and
once
you've
submitted
your
proposal,
the
community
reviews,
those
proposals
and
then
ultimately
votes
on
which
of
those
proposals
should
receive.

from
the
cardano
treasury
once
approved.

We
have
a
bit
of
a
slide
that
we
tried
to
show
in
the
beginning
of
each
Town
Halls
each
week,
so
like
a
lot
of
these,
things
might
be
familiar

again,

you're
watching

the
first
time
we
are
in
a
round
10
we've
had
just
under
1.5
K
proposals.

have
the
round,
which
is
now
currently
at
a
size
of
a
50
million
Ada,
which
is
really
exciting.
It's
the
largest
round
to
date
across
13
different,
exciting
categories,
and
you
know
on
the
idea,
scale
platform.
We
have
about
2
300
comments
again,
so
I
do
encourage
you
to
go
and
check
it
out,
comment
and
participate
and
give
feedback
to
all
the
proposers
to
to
make
sure
that
their
value
proposition
comes
in
that
much
better
as
well.
There
is
a
typo
on
the
screen.
It
shouldn't
be

yearly

think
anyone
wishes

we
are
in
a
community
review
stage
where
they're
originally
about

100
people
have
shown
the
interest
to
participate
and
we're
going
to
talk
a
little
bit
today
in
terms
of
like
where
we
are
with
the
community
review
stage,
just
as
a
level
set.
So
we've
pulled
some
statistics
out.
As
you
know
like
this
time,
around
things
are
a
little
different.
There's
some
random
allocations.
People
can
choose
just
whichever
proposals
on
their
own
without
any
repercussions
in
terms
of
how
the
value-
and
you
know
the
rewarding
system
works.

But
currently
the
system
has
logged
in
42
000,
unique
reviews
by
review.
We
mean
the
the
three
criteria
together,
so
you
have
the
impact,
feasibility
and
value
for
money,
so
4200
of
those
reviews
have
been
already
provided.
There
are
460
26
participating,
unique
reviewers
so
far
as
well,
so
that
gives
you
a
bit
of
an
indication
between
the
sign
ups
and
where
we
are
actually
currently
tracking
that
number
so
466
reviewers
are
currently
participating.
This
number
is
gradually
growing,
as
well
as
the
time
progresses
right
now.

have
I
think
the
the
highest
range
one
proposal
has
about
32
reviews
and
there's
still
proposals
with
a
couple
of
zeros
but
they're
closing
it
down
real
fast
average
number
of
reviews
per
proposal
currently
at
2.86
and
that's
across
the
1472
proposals
as
well
and
there's
a
little
bit
of
breakdown.
There
is
a
128
proposals,
still
awaiting
a
review
and
there's
about
more
than
700
already
with
three
or
more
reviews.

again,
these
are
top
level
items,
but
if
you
would
like
to
see
what
it
looks
like
based
on
the
challenge,
especially
if
your
proposal
proposer
in
any
of
those
challenges,
you
can
see

level
statistics
there
as
well

again,

just
a
little
bit
about
what
remote
start
does
we
help
companies
startups
and
organizations
to
hire
inclusively
from
our
pool,
updated
underrepresented
talents
who
are
exclusively
from
Minority
backgrounds?
Our
goal
is
to
use
decentralization
is
the
decentralization
of
job
opportunities
to
the
use
of
blockchain
and
artificial
intelligence.
So,
basically,
that's
what
we
are
doing
at
remote
start
next.
I
So
first
I
would
like
to
give
just
a
little
bit
of
a
rundown
on
how
we
joined
Catalyst
up
till
last
year.
We
never
knew
about
carry
list,
but
we
got
to
know
about
the
sister
cardano
page
competition
and
we
applied
for
it
and
we
were
selected
among
the
top
50
participants,
so
that
was
our
introduction
to
Catalyst.
I

We
networked
with
others
who
shared
similar
passions
like
I.
Do
so
I'm
not
gonna
mention
the
names
because
they
are
too
big.
There
are
too
many
and
they
all
know
themselves
and,
and
then
the
funniest
part
of
it
I
think
one
of
them
was
mean
a
lot
of
people.
I,
don't
even
want
to
mention
the
people
on
Twitter
spaces
who
really
believed
in
our
project
and
so
I.
We
networked
with
them
and
then
I
did
not
even
bother
checking
the
results.
Why?
I
Because
I
I
read
other
proposals
and
I
saw
that
they
were
much
more
beautiful
proposals
that
were
there
and
funning
off.
My
proposal
did
not
even
have
any
Kudos
so
in
case
you're
in
our
shoes,
and
your
proposal
is
not
having
any
Kudos
I
want
you
to
understand
that.
That's
not
what
the
community
basis
it's
the
basis
for
funding
on.
It's
totally
different,
all
right,
so
yeah
next.
I
So
most
of
them
do
not
have
the
skill
and
the
talents
to
work
with
these
particular
companies,
but
we
actually
told
them
that
there
is
a
need
to
do
this
for
the
sake
of
social
good,
and
so
we
link
them,
and
then
these
talents
were
paid
with
others,
so
that
was
just
the
basic
General
overview
of
that
particular
project.
So
about
300
African
talents
actively
reached
in
this
program
and
then
all
of
them
open
new
wallets.
I
You
know
all
around,
then
we
we
had
partnership
with
Chase
and
slum
and
and
then
it
enabled
us
get
two
streets,
kids
from
the
slum
and
place
them
with
startups
and
are
currently
on
their
path
to
becoming
full
stack
developers.
We
also
had
a
talent
to
use
t-pains
from
our
program
to
be
able
to
get
admission
in
the
USA
and
is
currently
like
just
left
in
yesterday,
so
I
think
I'm
going
to
share
more
of
that
in
the
next
slide.
Yeah
yeah,
so
this
is
Io.
I
Io
is
one
of
the
street
kids
that
is
currently
now
on
a
path
to
become
a
software
developer
because
we're
linking
with
the
company
and
where
he
got
to
learn
and
get
internship.
And
then
the
company
helped
him.
She
was
receiving
Stephen,
and
this
motivated
him
to
learn
and
as
he
was
learning
today
through
this
partnership
he's
becoming
a
software
developer
and
yourself
we
can
see
Sylvia,
who
is
currently
on
our
way
to
becoming
a
researcher
as
a
result
of
this
project.

lot
of
other
stories
that
we've
had
people
that
went
back
to
school
because
they
were
able
to
get
a
little
bit
of
a
steeping,
and
you
would
be
surprised
what
50
to
100
Ada
can
do
in
the
life
of
people.
It
was
such
an
amazing
project,
as
I
saw
the
real
life
transformations
of
people
next.
I
So
next
is
the
fact
that
in
the
Pro
in
the
course
of
doing
this
project,
we
saw
the
trust
issue
that
people
have
with
underrepresented
groups
and
as
such,
we
are
trying
to
see
how
we
can
build
solutions
to
this.
So
you
can
as
well
check
our
proposals
to
see
and
we're
also
having
other
things
around
inclusion.

you
can
as
well
check
to
see
if
it's
worth
supporting
yeah.

out
of
catalase
people's
lives.
Changing
you
know
from
catalysts
from
their
project
really
awesome,

a
few
questions
as
you
go
forward,
the
first
one
is
going
to
be
what
inspired
this
project.
I
I
think
what
inspired
this
project
is
my
own
story,
so
coming
from
Africa
I,
I,
I
I'm,
also
I'm
being
able
to
push
myself
to
some
level
of
education
and
getting
the
skills
that
I
do
have
today
most
times,
I'm
always
be
real
that
when
I
try
to
explain
my
own
situation
to
people
who
are
from
the
US
and
from
other
countries,
I
got
to
realize
that
our
stories
are
totally
different.
They
don't
understand
why
someone
at
25
does
not
have
a
degree.
I
They
don't
understand
why
someone
at
30
35
does
not
have
any
work
experience
so
most
times
when
they
want
to
give
jobs.
They're
telling
you
so
they're
telling
me
Oh.
You
need
to
have
like
five
years
experience.
Damn
it
I
literally
struggled
myself
to
be
able
to
get
a
degree
man.
You
don't
understand
that
man,
so
it
it
was
quite
a
painful
thing
for
me
and
so
I
I
really
felt
like
it's
I
needed
to
do
something
about
it.

Really
really
inspiring
I
I
feel
the
passion
from
you
know
how
you
answered
that
question.
Being
African
myself,
I
totally
understand
where
you're
coming
from
I
understand
that
I'm
Bridging
the
talent
gap
between
the
west
and
Africa,
is
you
know
it's
really
important,
but
what
are
some
of
the
challenges?
I
Two
major
challenges
that
I
found:
one
was
the
fact
that
it
was
there
was
one
I
put
it
in
the
report.
I
had
to
literally
screenshot
a
chat
that
I
had
with
an
employer
and
put
it
in
the
report.
I
was
trying
to
convince
him
to
actually
give
the
jobs
to
some
Africans,
and
he
told
me
that
he
has
interviewed
these
guys
and
they
are
beautiful.
They
are
awesome.
I
He
could
see
that
these
people
are
talented,
but
he
told
me
he's
not
going
to
hire
them
and
I
said
why,
and
he
told
me,
because
when
I
was
doing
the
interview
they
kept
on
going
off
and
coming
up
going
off
and
coming
up.
He
doesn't
understand
that
in
that
part
of
the
world
internet
is
such
a
luxury
right.
So
I
was
trying
to
explain
to
him.
If
these
guys
are
cool,
why
don't
you
just
give
them
opportunity
right?
So
it
was
such
a
man.
I
He
told
me
I
love
what
you're
doing,
but
I
I'm
sorry
I
need
the
best
for
my
company,
so
I'm
not
gonna.
Do
it
and
I
also
had
to
understand
right.
So
the
issue
of
infrastructure
was
quite
a
big
issue
and
I
know
a
lot
of
Africans
African
talents
that
were
denied
opportunities
because
they
felt
like
you're,
not
you're,
not
just
cool
enough.
It
was
quite
painful
to
be
to
be
sincere
right.
So
that's
that's
that's
one
of
it
right.
Another
thing,
I
would
say
would
be.

that's
that's
very
impressive.

real

connections

US

it

these
are
real
people
who
don't
really
care
about
your
skin
color.

don't
care
about
who
you

and
the
fact
that
anyone
can
just
like

I've,
been
here
for
just
one
year
and
in
just
one
year,
I
have

joined
a
lot
of
communities,
I've
I've
handled

even
handled

for
Lagos.

was
two
last
month.

lot
of
projects.

can't
count
the
number
of
projects
I've
been
able
to
handle
in
just
less
than
one
year.

learned

and

I
don't

I'm

anybody
and
be

was
able

compile
a
report
right
now
how
the
fund

has
fared
in
this
regard.
So
we're
gonna
watch
the

we

the

So
we're
gonna

a
brief

after
for
now
enjoy
the

budget
allocated
to
this
challenge.
Category
was
five
five
hundred
thousand
dollars
in
Ada
the
San
Diego
Africa
broker.
Then,
who
had
16
proposals
funded
at
the
time
of
writing
this
report
in
June,
eight
proposals
had
been
completed
and
close-ups
with
eight
proposals
in
progress.
The
eight
proposals
in
progress
have
submitted
reports
on
time
and
are
currently
on
calls.

Achievements
of
this
fund
to
the
ecosystem
completed
projects
have
increased
their
awareness
of
cardano
ecosystem
within
the
African
Community,
which
is
the
aim
of
the
category.
More
communities
have
impacted
life
positively
through
knowledge
in
Project,
Catalyst
and
more
people
are
thinking
of
get
of
great
ideas
to
develop
their
communities.
They
have
been
growth
in
communities
and
collaboration
across
countries
in
Africa.

The
achieve
kpis
of
this
challenge
was
that
more
than
500
new
people
were
introduced
to
the
cardano
blockchain
through
these
projects,
workshops
and
events
which
most
of
them
have
registered
on
ideal
skill
to
have
the
opportunity
to
also
innovate
on
Project
catalysts.
New
cardano
community
health
has
been
established
in
South
Africa
cardano
community
center
in
Cape
Town
and
the
Cardinal
African
life
in
Johannesburg.
The
African
cardano
platforms
stand
for
Catalyst
School
Etc
have
positively
affect
have
been
affected
through
increased
participation.

conclusion,
overall,
the
computer
proposal
has
completed
the
widespread
awareness
of
cardano
to
the
desirables
level
on
the
continent,
and
this
can
be
seen
in
one
of
the
proposals
where,
when
it
was
present,
its
close-up
report
was
presented
at
Town.
Hall
I.
Remember
Daniel,
saying
that
this
is
a
mini,
Town
Hall
that
has
been
held
in
the
hall,
and
that
is
the
opportunity
Summit.
It
was
held
in
Capers
University
in
Ghana.
However,
there
is
so
they

cover
more
areas
and
communities
in
Africa
so
that
the
ecosystem
can
go
to
an
appreciable
level.

makes
it
so

to
these
proposals.

proposals

we
put
in,

look
for
problems
before
we
put
in
this

proposals.
So
it's
like
you
are
answering
a
solution.
It's
not
like.
You
are
now
you
put
in
a
proposal
and
then
you're
not
thinking
about
what
would
you
do,
but
before
we
put
in
a
proposal
we
have
an
aim.
We
want
to
do
this.

those
that's
why
we

putting

compete

way
to
see
it

that

is
going
to
give
more
opportunity,

kind
of
leveraging
on
what
we've
done

catalysts

governance
across
the
blockchain
and
have
everybody

chance

of
which
would
include
treasury
accent,
actions.

know
there
was
a
question
out
in
the
community
saying:

can

get
funded
twice?

first
route
in
and
it's
I
think

first

community

people

setup

opportunity

other

proposals

get
other

forms
of
funding,

opportunities
coming
that
way

transition
period

governance
area
towards
the
end

the
year,
maybe
the
start

next

once
that

recruit

train

educate
a
load
of
delegated

that
we

now
everybody
can

vote

access

mind,
that's
why
Catalyst
running
this
Innovation
fund
gives
us
a

enables
us

steer
through
the
bumpy,
uncharted
waters

stability,
whereas
two
to
three
years
ago,
Catalyst
was
in
that
position.

was

our
form
of
stability
and
over

past

next
year

act
as
an
anchor
as
we
go
through
this
next.

next
level
of
