From YouTube: Jenkins UX SIG Meeting - 8 July 2020
Description
This edition of the Jenkins UX SIG meetup saw FĂ©lix Queiruga provide an overview of the work that has been going on integrating the table to div migration. There was also an overview and discussion about the table look-and-feel restyling. It finished with reviewing Tim Jacomb's work on the Black Theme.
A
Hi
everyone
welcome
to
the
villa
July
8th
again,
we
can
just
start
recording,
please
Oh
Jeremy's,
not
here
I,
it's
already
recording
yeah.
Okay,
thank
a
hi,
everybody
welcome
to
the
July
and
H,
and
your
quick
meeting,
and
so
today,
I'm
going
to
be
today
there
I'm
going
to
go
over
the
agenda.
Everybody
we
are
all
with
all
been
here
before,
and
one
of
these
meetings
or
no
presentations
are
required.
So
first
of
all,
I
wanted
to
give
some
updates
on
the
status
of
the
UX
it
works.
A
I
want
today
to
go
over
the
statuses
there
in
foreign
tables
to
tips,
initiative,
VR
and
I
want
to
present
the
tables
changes
tops
and
they
both
changes.
They
created
appear
today
we'll
go
into
it
later
and
then
I
want
to
discuss.
If
there's
comment
up
every
week,
if
there's
anything,
we
can
do
for
the
next
LTS
anything
else.
Ok.
So
if
there's
anyone
to
want
to
add
anything
else
to
the
agenda
before
we
start.
A
Okay,
let's
go
everybody
see
everybody
can
see.
Well,
my
my
screen
right.
So
recurrently
was
two
lives.
I've
been
put
in
work
work.
Did
we
leave
it
last
week,
so
basically
we
decided
that
it
was
maybe
read
too
soon
to
decide
whether
it
should
go
into
the
LCS
or
not
or
it
should
emerge
or
not.
We
decided
to
talk
about
it
this
week.
A
A
I
also
I
did
put
a
noticeable
amount
of
work
into
running
ATH
tests,
PCT
tests
and
doing
a
comprehensive
code
search.
I
reported
issues
with
almost
around
I.
Think
it's
around
30
plans
and
there
are
some
penetrating
to
interpret
I
need
to
do
it
so
I
deliver
some
work
done.
Tim
also
did
some
great
working.
He
in
forward
porting
the
JavaScript
and
CSS
changes.
The
JavaScript
changes
are
already
into
the
junkies
master
branch.
So
that's
going
to
solve
any
possible
need
to
roll
back
to
roll
back.
A
A
I
feel
we
recommend
I
think
they
have
a
script.
The
CSS
changes
need
a
bit
of
fine-tuning
still
so
hopefully
we
will
get
to
do
it
before
in
next
week.
Probably,
but
we
just
didn't.
We
wanted
to
match
it
before,
because
it
was
getting
stale.
It
was
doing
no
good
being
just
there
okay.
So
if
we've
been
trying
to
look
into
the
so
I
want
to
talk
about
the
table,
sativa
status
of
the
peer
so
far,
nothing
has,
from
my
point
of
view,
nothing
has
fundamentally
changed
the
breaking
issues.
A
Still
there
we
did
lots
of
groundwork.
So
we
have
qualities.
I
want
to
say
that
we
cloud
this.
We
don't
recommend
it
merging
it
and
before
the
next
LTS
or
include
it
into
the
next
LTS
range,
we
would
recommend
it
having
indeed
down
by
the
next
entire
cycle,
maybe
merging
it
at
the
beginning
of
August.
That
said,
we
will,
of
course,
in
no
way
shape
form.
Try
to
deal.
Eight
I
tried
to
delay
it.
If
the.
A
If
the,
if
the
breaking
is
a
big
issue,
is
fixed
or
delayed,
merge
delayed
any
inclusion
in
any
in
the
LCS.
We
will
support
the
community,
of
course,
we
just
recommend
against
it
and
we
may
not
use
it
in
our
cloudy's
in
our
changing
based
products,
because
we
cannot
just
there
are
lots
of
standing
issues
in
in
many
plugins.
Well,
some
of
them.
I
many
of
the
night
reported
in
the
into
the
data
tracker
that
we
don't
have
the
risk.
We
just
don't
have
the
resources
to
commit
fixing
them
in
this
summer.
A
We
will
work
on
that
after
after
the
summer,
and
in
fact
we
have
already
started
some
work
with
it.
The
tester
is
the
comprehensive,
comprehensive
code,
search
and
testing
issues
and
sorry
reporting
of
issues
with
a
test,
and
we
are
already
working
on
fixing
some
ath
errors.
Looking
into
error
source
right
now,
we're
looking
into
errors
with
formal
relations
and
the
promoter
builds
plugins.
We
just
don't
think
it's.
We
are
just
not
confident
in
to
guarantee
in
the
quality
with
temporaries,
so
we
will.
A
B
C
B
D
A
B
A
B
A
C
D
A
B
A
Okay,
yeah,
maybe
maybe
just
a
pill,
see
with
the
entry
advanced
optional
block.
E
B
A
B
F
A
F
A
A
F
D
But
if
it's
behind
a
future
toggle
like
Kim
is
proposing
so
what
goes
in
the
current
state,
the
future
would
be
opting
at
least
for
now,
maybe
when
you
enable,
by
default
in
experimental
UI,
because
why
not-
and
we
basically
make
it
opt-out
once
we
have
no
plug-in
stabilized.
Is
it
right
or
do
we
want
her
to
enable
it
by
default.
B
It
would
need
to
ever
just
a
review
of
the
plugins
and
say
with
major
plugins
that
warrant
gonna
get
off
initially,
probably
doing
it
off
initially.
Is
that
no
one's
going
to
use
it
so
you're
not
going
to
get
any
feedback,
but
if
we've
got
some
fixes
and
flight,
it
could
make
sense
to
just
have
it
merged
to
make
it
easiest
test
and
then
enable
it
once
a
few
fixes
have
been
released.
C
B
C
A
Don't
see
a
point
I,
maybe
it's
not
that
useful
to
discuss
it
right
now.
No,
this
is
good,
maybe
I,
don't
know
if
it's
appropriate
or
leverage
there
then
I
want
not
the
current
indication.
Well,
that's
appropriate
for
that
use,
but,
okay,
so
yeah!
So
is
there
anything
else?
Oh
talk
about
this
topic?
Does
anyone
to
want
to
chime
in.
A
Okay,
so
if
you,
if
nobody
has
anything
else
to
say,
I'm
going
to
gonna,
go
ahead,
I
moved
to
the
chip
table
changes
so
not
very
big
updates,
just
cooking
some
things
up
in
the
design
front,
what
he
will
show
them,
I
think
I'm
sure
he
will
showing
them
next
week.
I'm
sorry
in
the
next
meeting
so
right
today,
I
will
I
created
a
draft
PR
for
the
revamp
of
tables
up
some
big
tables.
A
I
think
that's
a
good
practice
to
do
from
now
on
our
side,
cela
PR
is
there
everybody's
welcome
to
actually
encourage
everybody
to
take
a
look
at
it,
at
least
because
on
everything,
so
I'm
going
to
go
ahead
and
do
some
quick
showcase
of
it.
This
would
be
what
the
new
tables
would
feel
like.
This
aah
truly
believed
that
these
new
styles
were
really
feeling
within
the
rest
of
the
UI,
especially
if
you
take
into
account
the
side
panel,
the
hyperlinks
and
everything
else,
the
way,
basically
especially
with
hyperlinks.
A
Maybe
it's
because
I'm
biased,
I
really
really
like
it.
So
the
nipple.
Then
this
is
what
in
planning
people
would
look
like
come
with
me,
go
Driscoll
here
you
may
notice
that
I
have
a
right
and
left
align
all
these
columns,
because
in
order
to
improve
legibility,
accessibility,
I
have
also
aim.
For
example,
here
you'll
see
that
these
colors
this
color
is
the
strip
color,
always
the
same
as
a
great
camera
and
footer.
This
holger
color
is
the
same
as
the
ones
in
that's
not
sure.
A
You
know
it's
the
same
as
the
one
in
the
sidebar
here.
So
it's
where
we
are
also
moving
towards
a
more
consistent
color
palette,
which
is
good
yeah,
and
these
are
the
tops
basically
I,
encourage
everybody
to
try.
I
am
really
proud
of
the
work
Jodie
with
design,
designing
and
I
think
it's
very
nice,
but
we
are
open
to
feedback.
Of
course
everything
can
be
improved
and
iterated
upon.
So
we
encourage
everybody
to
get
their
feedback
because.
B
B
A
I
think
maybe
it's
because
what
do
you
see
here?
Do
you
may
notice
that
thesis
there
is
this
underline
this
table?
Doesn't
this
stuff
doesn't
completely
blend
into
the
into
the
header
there's
at
least
two
pixel
and
that's
because
otherwise
it
just
wasn't
possible
without
changing
the
styling
of
the
table
in
and
relative
to
the
to
the
two
tops
yeah
that.
G
A
A
That's
one,
the
full
width
of
a
container
and
then
everything
underneath
them.
One
of
the
things
I
wanted
to
people
to
try
and
give
feedback
is
because
I
wasn't
sure
how
to
do
them
is
simple
cases
where
they
are
up
by
a
part
of
the
page
has
tabs
but
uses
a
paying
frame
with
it,
for
example,
this
case
this
is
the
thing
I'm,
probably
looking
feedback
or
alternatives
into
what
we
should
do.
This
is
a
weird
one,
I
think.
A
I
I
don't
know,
I
just
wanted
to
keep
to
styling
I
sort
of
removed
for
their
butt
and
the
reason
I
couldn't
remove
and
then
I
realized
Rhys
was
supposed
to
be
outside
of
here,
but
I
don't
know,
I
wasn't
sure
how
to
what
to
do
with
this.
What
I,
probably
do
is
I,
probably
create
a
follow
up
to
PR
in
a
few
weeks
working
on
the
pain
frame,
maybe
having
another
word
that
I
don't
know
removing
the
water
radius
if
this
goes
through.
B
D
But
also
some
our
user
experience
issues
included.
For
example,
HTTP
proxy
configuration
it's
kind
of
a
figure
double
in
a
plugin
manager,
but
actually
it
applies
globally
for
your
Jenkins
instance.
Yeah,
it's
a
way,
so
this
part
the
different
it
has
to
move
for
elsewhere
and
for
the
rest,
applaud,
plugins,
etc.
A
E
A
A
So
yeah,
let
me
so
something
that
could
be
that
I
could
try
this,
as
you
know,
just
making
something:
okay,
I
need
to
something
like
this.
You
know
having
a
full-width
waistline.
This
is
something
that
I
actually
have
another
option
to
the
top
part
I
requited
to
show
the
waistline,
and
it
can
also
be
shown
by
default
businesses
very
old.
Now,
that's
what
it
would
look.
A
So
there's
no
way
to
make
it
look
right
right
now
in
the
engines,
but
I
think
that's
a
nice
compromise
and
what
I
would
actually
do
is
I
would
put
all
of
this
on
top
and
I.
On
the
other
pages,
for
example,
I
would
nest.
I
would
keep
the
top
bar
on
top
and
put
everything
in
beneath
it,
but
that
would
be
a
follow
up.
Pr,
of
course,.
B
A
C
H
A
Of
them,
basically
all
of
them,
for
example,
these
credentials
table
and
yeah.
Let
me
go
this.
One
is
one
information
about
Yankee,
so
all
of
these
are
effective
reason.
For
example,
this
one
this
tables
revealed
they
need
to
use
proper
semantic
markup
to
separate
the
heading
at
the
footer
and
the
body
of
the
table,
something
that
I
may
create
appear
in
the
I
will
probably
create
appear
after
this
one
to
to
allow
for
tea,
happy
Diwali
until
suit
elements
with
proper
styling.
A
A
F
F
A
A
A
We
always
sit
at
the
beginning
that
the
Heather
would
that
we
wear
hundred
ten
percent
open
to
iterate
over
components
and
that's
something
that's
really
needed.
The
header
and
breadcrumbs
come
components
were
developed
at
the
beginning
of
the
project.
We
didn't
really
had
the
full
picture
of
what
we
wanted
to
cool
it
to
go.
What
the
color
palette
was
going
to
be
what
the
designs
using
was
going
to
be.
A
For
example,
we
started
using
there
a
lot
of
font
and
then
we
in
the
PAS
graphic
we
change
it
to
the
system
phones
now.
What
I
want
to
say
is
that
it
needs
to
be
revisited
to
see
into
the
terming
if,
if
it's
consistent
with
the
how
the
design
system
evolved
and
if
we
want
to
keep
it,
if
we
want,
for
example,
do
we
want
to
keep
the
blue
header?
Do
people
actually
use
it?
Is
it
the
right
shape,
shade
of
blue?
A
A
A
Because
right
now,
one
of
the
things
one
of
the
points
of
the
feature
flap
of
the
UI
feature
flag,
was
to
enable
yes
to
hire
changes
that
would
be
too
controversial
of
the
cupric
planning
turns
out.
We
were
lucky
and
we
didn't
do
we
didn't
need
it.
We
all
the
changes
that
we've
been
working
on
for
the
past
five
six
months.
We
were
able
to
integrate
it
into
the
mainline
and
minimizing
the
effects
it
had.
They
had
on
plugins.
G
A
C
For
sure,
in
fact,
Felix
this
is
something
you
and
I
haven't
discussed
yet,
but
I've
been
working
on
this
sort
of
on
the
side
and
I
have
updated
designs
for
this.
Like
we
kind
of
talked
about
a
couple
weeks
where
the
logo
treatment
is
adjusted,
the
color
treatment
is
adjusted
and
also,
if
I,
remember
correctly,
font
size
on
the
breadcrumbs
has
some
as
some
tweaks
to
be
to
feel
more
appropriate
in
the
space.
So,
yes,
definitely
and
we
can
take
a
look
at
those
those
changes
in
the
next
sick.
A
D
C
A
C
A
A
mean
form
for
changes
are
big
enough.
That
I
think
they
were
on
their
own
flag
or
their
own
setting
I.
Just
don't
think.
I
am
and
yeah
and
I
even
think,
I
think
just
keepin
the
flag
it
we
could
incur
into
technical
debt,
I
mean
if
it's
not
there
if
it's
near
and
we
find
more
more
uses
for
it.
Of
course,
in
the
future.
D
A
Okay,
so
if
nobody
many
things
we
can
move
on
to
the
next
topic,
yeah
something
I
want
to
change.
Well,
what
I'm
not
were
able
to
dedicate
proper
the
needed
amount
of
time
to
tables
to
lives?
I
do
have
some
spare
time.
Maybe
I
wanted
to
raise
a
point
to
see
if
there
say
I
wanted
to
raise
the
question
to
see.
B
A
G
H
D
Yet
to
be
seen
well,
we've
got
a
lot
of
feedback
for
Jenkins
pipeline
browsing
compromise
is
a
part
of
your
year.
It's
hard.
First,
someone
is
interested
to
try
and
hug
this
topic
together.
I
would
be
happy
to
scale
something,
maybe
in
August
and
September,
but
yeah
right
now.
There
is
no
control
come
for
the
test.
Far
as
I
can
tell.
A
A
D
A
Yeah
I
trick
to
a
one
of
the
where
ago.
I
try
to
to
use
react
to
create
a
tree
react
great
yet,
but
you
could
use
the
lotion,
API
and
blue
ocean
components
to
render
them
render
and
the
charge
on
a
normal.
Jing
is
plugging
you,
oh
sorry,
and
the
classic
view
right.
It
wasn't
that
easy
to
reuse.
The
stuff
I
think
we
have
to
just
copy
and
paste
the
code
and
create
it
from
scratch.
B
A
D
A
But
what
about
maybe
what
we
would
do
is
to
add
an
official
entry
to
a
documentation,
entry,
how-to
guide
for
plans
to
support
the
park
theme,
because,
but
what
we
would
need,
because
I'm
really
I'm
afraid
some
plugins,
which
just
use
the
CSS
variable
without
the
fallback
value,
and
it
is
the
plug-in
just
with
not
working
Internet
Explorer
right.
So
that's
something
I'm
afraid
of
and
also
for
that.
We
would
need
to
choose
official
minimum
gssapi
a
support,
as
you
see
over
your
API
and
just
construct
ice.
B
D
A
Yeah
well,
my
point
is,
for
example,
right
now:
we
have
around
the
theme.
File
has
around
200-300
CSS
variables,
I
think
it's
in
the
order
of
200,
but
I
wouldn't
call
those
a
stable
API.
Maybe
30
of
them
are
stable,
like
link
color
in
charcoal
or
all
of
those
variants,
but
we
just
cannot
say:
okay,
you
can
do
of
plugins
it's
okay.
If
dark
theme
uses
them,
it's
a
different
thing.
If
plugins
depend
of
variables
that
are
but
may
be
a
factor
about
that's
right.
Yeah.
B
D
A
Sorry,
what
I
say
is
that
you
would
officially
shown
it
API,
yes,
I,
think.
If
I
don't
know
for
me,
it
would
feel
as
long
as
you
publish
an
API
and
you
don't
comment.
An
API
B
changes
everything
right
in
the
security
you
will
have
to
do.
Iterate
and
everything
I'm,
not
saying
it's
right,
I
didn't
say
it
we
can
with
cat.
Oh.
D
A
B
A
A
B
A
D
A
A
Refresh
it
would
be
better,
in
my
opinion,
to
ship
that
the
person
of
bootstrap
that
ship
that
would
suffer
EPA
plugging
ships
Duden,
does
not
contain
a
typography
reset
and
basically
style
results
and
everything.
It
just
includes.
Example,
table
widgets.
You
think
good
scarves
anything
loose
everything
else,
but
yes,
they
shouldn't
override
at
the
progress
of
the
page,
for
example,
but
that's
something
I
think
can
be
done
to
model
early
load,
the
a
CSS
file.
A
B
A
B
B
A
B
A
C
B
B
A
B
A
F
I
had
tried
it
I
posted
some
pictures,
but
I
didn't
found
much
time
this
week
and
last
week
too
I
thought
it
would
make
more
sense
to
have
it
some
kind
of
toggle,
so
you
can
simply
switch
it
in
the
user
interface.
Otherwise,
it's
a
little
bit
hard
to
change
and
look
at
it
and
change
and
look
at
it.
So
yeah.
A
A
F
The
same
is
maybe
it's
comparable
to
your
new
tables,
the
new
tables
with
this
black
everything
black.
Is
it's
very
hard?
If
you
look
at
it
the
first
time
and
if
you
look
at
tables
in
in
github,
for
instance,
you
just
have
these
small
lines,
and
now
we
have
this
hard
blocks,
and
the
same
is
for
this
color
palette,
so
I
think
we,
the
colors,
should
be
a
little
bit
more
yeah,
not
smooth.
It's
a
little
bit
light
more,
like
a
lighter.
How
do
you
say
it
warmer.
A
F
Softly
a
softer
is
a
better
yeah
softer,
but
I
think
I
try
to
find
a
way
to
make
them
configurable
and
then
it's
maybe
easier
to
click
in
the
UI
and
then
change
slider.
And
then
you
see
how
the
colors
will
change
it's
easier
to
see,
I
think
rather
than
compiling
and
deploying,
and
then
you
see
the
new
colors
and
then
you
can't
compare
to
the
old
color.
So.
B
F
F
The
way
clouds
has
a
theming
capability
capability
included,
so
you
can
change
the
colors
of
the
charts
using
a
different
theme,
but
I'm
not
sure
how
this
would
work
with
our
filming
concept.
I'm,
not
sure
if
that
works,
that
we
can
use
Jenkins
themes
to
style
the
charts,
because
I
think
for
the
the
black
theme.
A
A
F
Yeah
I'm
still
think
all
modern
you
eyes,
don't
use
a
background
color.
They
just
use
lines
to
style
tables
and
tabs
like
the
calendar
and
my
tab.
This
is
just
a
line
and
no
color.
You
have
a
look
at
github.
They
used
when
they
used
I.
Think
the
color
is
so
it's
so
highlighting
everything,
but
the
the
table,
header
is
not
the
interesting
thing.
The
table
is
the
interesting
thing.
Yeah.
F
A
A
F
A
C
F
Yes
and
you
just
open
it-
and
here
you
have
these
tabs-
and
these
are
the
typical
modern
taps.
I
say
where
you
just
have
one
line,
which
shows
so.
A
F
B
E
A
A
G
You
really
only
need
the
border
to
make
it
feel
like
it's
all
included
and
then
the
table
can
be
a
separate
element
when
it's
like
a
combined
tab
and
table
it's
difficult
because
you're
trying
to
make
the
header
the
same.
Color
is
the
tab.
But
if
you
just
moved
the
table
into
the
tab
section,
it
might
be
easier
to
understand.
A
A
I
think
this
is
a
weak
case,
because
it's
only
present,
maybe
here
I
mean
another
place,
and
the
problem
with
these
tabs
is
that
it
was
sort
of
I
recall,
seeing
I
was
doing
some
research
yesterday
or
today
to
see
where
these
was
increment.
Only
I
think
there
was
a
piece
of
feedback
from
you
that
argued
in
favor
of
putting
together
the
tab,
some
table
and
removing
separation.
The
problem
with
with
putting
on
underline
by
the
way
is
that
it
looks
really
weird
having
a
different
color
line
between
the
tops
and
the
cellar
yeah.

G
A
We
just
started
to
work
within
the
framework.
We
have
what
I
prefer.
What
I
suggest
is.
Let
me
try
to
come
up
with
some
alternatives,
having
colors
with
maybe
a
black
or
a
full
white
having
Makram
and
and
let's
validate
it.
Maybe
I
would
share
a
few
screenshots
tomorrow
on
the
PR
as
part
of
the
discussion.
