Description
Community Services Committee Meeting 1/21/2020 9:00 AM
A
A
B
A
It's
your
public
comment:
I,
don't
have
any
forms
for
that.
Are
there
any
announcements?
Is
this
the
appropriate
time
to
make
the
announcement,
maybe
so
misspoke
dr.
Polk,
couldn't
be
here
today?
She
had
a
very
busy
yesterday
and
Lori
was
busy
yesterday
too-
and
here
you
are
thank
you
for
being
here.
It
was
a.
It
was
a
tremendously
well
attended.
A
Breakfast,
the
room
was
full
at
the
quality,
and
the
speakers
were
good
and
the
highlight
of
all
Lori
had
every
person
there
that
she
needs
to
address
on
her
form,
didn't
miss
a
soul,
so
she
did
and
that's
with
the
cane
but
there
with
the
crutch,
walking
under
crunch
them.
It
was
a
wonderful
event.
Mr.
dr.
Polk
would
like
to
thank
any
of
you
that
attended
or
any
new
way
supported
that
event.
A
It
was
just
a
really
fine
event
and
looking
forward
to
the
scholarships
that
will
be
awarded
as
a
result
of
that
event,
anything
any
other
knots.
Would
she
like
me,
okay,
the
menís
were
sent
to
you
for
December
17th.
Would
mr.
Hoff,
would
you
move
that
they
be
accepted?
Mr.
Carraway
ii
will
move
that
they
be
accepted
with
the
change
of
the
header
from
November
19th
to
December
17.
So
the
what
really
happened
really
happened.
We're
just
gonna
change
the
date
at
the
top
of
it.
A
So
all
in
favor
of
approving
those
menís
with
that
chain
say
aye
I'll,
post
a
I
motion
carry
okay.
Here
comes
mr.
Hendrickson.
Mr.
feathering,
would
you
move
that
we
accept
his
report?
Okay,
mr.
C,
where
were
you
a
second
any
discussion?
All
in
favor
of
accepting
the
report
say
aye
any
opposed,
say
aye
motion
carries.
Thank
you
for
being
here.
You
were
there
too.
C
Just
a
couple
things:
real,
quick,
Election,
Day
discussion
just
in
the
past,
during
the
primary
elections
and
the
general
elections
we've
closed,
our
office
for
non
election
related
functions
for
those
days
would
like
to
do
that
again
for
the
two
elections
this
year.
I'm
not
sure
that
I
need
to
have
approval,
but
I
would
like
to
have
the
committee's
blessing
on
that.
So
I
don't
know
if
we
need
to.
A
A
C
We
had
fourteen
hundred
and
twenty-nine
births
registered
in
Kankakee
County
in
2019,
which
is
13
more
than
we
had
in
2018.
The
most
popular
name
for
boys
was
a
three-way
tie,
Levi,
Liam
and
Greyson,
most
popular
name
for
girls
with
Charlotte
and
then
followed
by
Harper
and
Ava,
and
July
was
the
busiest
month
a
hundred
and
thirty
seven
births
in
Kankakee
County.
That
month,
that
was
more
than
any
other
month.
In
Kankakee
we
issued
534
marriage
licenses
in
Kankakee
County.
That
was
a
hundred
and
fifteen
fewer
than
we
did
the
year
before.
A
C
A
C
B
C
D
Like
to
thank
in
and
the
County
Clerk's
office,
we
had
a
voter
registration
thing
in
manty.
You
know
we
didn't
have
the
turnout,
but
very
much,
but
you
know
Felicia
and
Krystal
came
and
spent
the
day
and
explained
I
learned
a
lot
from
sitting
there
talking
with
them
for
a
few
hours,
and
it
was
a
very
educational
experience
for
me
and
right.
He
was
there
for
a
little
while
he
sat
in
there
for
a
couple
hours
and
we
learned
a
lot
from
those
girls.
So
now
I
understand
what
it
really
goes
on
down.
D
C
And
that
is
one
of
the
difficulties
that
we're
finding
with
same-day
registration
being
popular
in
in
Illinois.
Now
that
people
don't
always
take
advantage
of
the
other
opportunities
they
can
think
they
go
to
the
polls
on
election
day
or
they
come
to
our
office
to
do
grace
period
registration
during
that
that
28-day
window
prior
to
Election
Day.
So
we've
seen
that
voter
registration
drives
in
the
26
years
that
I've
been
here
are
diminishing.
C
D
I
wanted
to
mention
that
since
then,
so
many
people
have
come
up
to
me
asking
me
well,
how
did
it
go?
I
really
didn't
have
what
I
need
you
know.
I'm
I
moved
and
I
really
didn't.
Have
my
ID?
Have
my
birth
certificate?
I?
Don't
know
where
it
is
it's
like.
Well,
you
don't
really
have
to
have
your
person
to
turn
it
well
really
after
him.
I
gave
my
piece
of
paper.
I
said
here.
First
is
what
you
need,
but
I
think
people
are
scared
away
because
they
don't
think
they
have
what
they
need.
D
C
Wouldn't
worry
about
it
if
I
were,
you
certainly
will
will
be
hittin
social
media
and
in
the
media
in
general,
on
ways
to
participate
in
the
upcoming
election.
So,
okay.
D
A
E
D
F
A
G
A
G
G
Couldn't
hear
myself
so
I
just
had
a
few
things
to
go
over
with
you
this
morning
about
2019
year
and
assessment
stuff,
and
then
you
know
kicking
off
the
2020
year.
So
I'm
bear
with
me
for
just
a
moment
after
the
Board
of
Review
and
adjourned.
Their
final
hearings,
I
believe
that
was
on
December
19th
I
did
look
on
the
23rd
of
December
to
see
if
we
needed
final,
abstract
Equalization
by
my
tentative
calculations.
G
Along
with
that,
once
that
once
I
figured
that
we
didn't
need
final
abstract,
Equalization
I
did
have
the
board.
The
Board
of
Review
come
in
on
the
24th
of
December,
signed
the
documents
that
I
needed
and
I
delivered.
Those
reports
to
the
clerk
on
the
24th
I
then
held
the
annual
meeting
with
the
Township
Assessors
on
the
26th
of
December.
That
went
fine,
that's
a
statutory
obligation.
G
G
Once
we
rolled
to
2020
on
January
8th,
which
was
done
in
the
in
the
afternoon
and
I,
came
in
on
Thursday
morning
and
balanced
the
reports
and
things,
we
then
generated
the
books
that
the
Assessors
would
need
for
20/20.
Those
have
been
made
available,
most
of
the
Assessors
have
their
books
and
there's
a
couple
more
sitting
in
the
conference
room,
but
I'm,
confident
those
will
be
picked
up
very
shortly
and
then
I
also
have
a
deadline
of
tomorrow
for
the
return
of
employment,
verification
and
w9
forms
from
the
Assessors.
So
I've
got
all
that.
G
All
of
that
information
I'll
be
mailing,
that
off
to
the
Department
of
Revenue
here
by
the
end
of
the
week,
I
would
assume.
So
those
are
the
things
that
we've
completed
since
the
last
time.
We
spoke
a
couple
of
things
that
are
pending
like
I,
said
I'm
waiting
on
questions
from
the
Department
of
Revenue
about
our
final,
abstract
or
2019
final
abstract
I
would
expect
those
questions
any
day.
Now
they
did
get.
They
sent
me
an
email,
letting
me
know
that
they
received
the
final
abstract
from
the
clerk
On
January
6th.
G
So
it's
been
a
couple
of
weeks.
I
would,
as
I
would
expect
those
questions
to
come.
My
way
any
day
now
and
I'll
have
a
quick
turnaround,
give
them
those
answers
as
quickly
as
I
can
and
from
there.
I'd
just
be
waiting
for
a
final,
abstract
certification
and
then
also
at
this
time
of
the
year,
as
we've
wrapped
up
one
year
and
we're
kicking
off
the
next
year.
I
also
try
to
look
to
make
sure
that
we
participate
in
any
necessary
document.
G
Destruction
at
this
point
of
the
year
to
keep
the
offices
as
clean
as
possible,
because
we
have
a
limited
amount
of
space.
So
I
want
to
make
sure
that
we
don't
keep
too
many
years
worth
of
documents
in
the
office
if
we
don't
need
to
so
that
gives
you
an
idea
of
what
we've
done
since
we
last
spoke
and
when
I'm
looking
for
for
the
next
month
or
two,
if
you
have
any
questions,
I'd
be
happy
to
take
them
at
this
time.
The.
G
Document
has
actually
its
own
timeline,
so
some
of
them
are
one-year.
Some
of
them
are
two
three
five.
Some
of
them
are
forever,
so
it
just
depends
on
which
document
we're
talking
about,
but
we
do
have
a
handle
going
back
a
few
years
ago,
we
went
through
an
extensive
process
to
get
get
rid
of
multiple
years,
and
one
of
the
reasons
I
bring
this
up
every
year
is
now
it's
more
of
a
really
basic.
G
A
G
A
there's
a
department
within
the
state
of
Illinois,
which
would
give
us
permission
to
destroy
before
we
before
we
can
actually
do
it,
but
the
process
is
much
easier
if
you
just
keep
up
with
it
each
year,
rather
than
let
it
pile
up
and
have
to
go
through
everything,
you
know
three
or
four
years
at
a
time.
So
that's
one
of
the
reasons
why
we
slide
it
in
now,
when
we're
not
as
busy
with
closing
a
year
or
kicking
a
year
off.
A
G
I
believe
you
know
that's
something
that
I
think
a
lot
of
times.
The
the
maintenance
department
will
schedule
a
shredding
event
here
at
the
county
and
and
so
we'll
have
those
boxes
downstairs
marked
clearly
for
them
to
be
able
to
know
exactly
which
ones
to
take
off
the
shelf
and
and
dispose
up.
So
that's
that's
kind
of
how
that
works.
It's.
A
A
G
A
Okay,
next
we'll
turn
to
our
recorder.
Laurie
gave
away,
and
mr.
crook
struts
your
turn
to
move
to
accept
her
report.
Would
you
like
to
move
to
accept
hurry?
Miss
Dunbar?
Were
you
second
any
questions
about
the
report?
That's
coming
up
all
in
favor
of
accepting
the
report
say:
aye
Jose
I
motion
carry.
E
H
A
H
H
You
the
calendar
year,
because
when
we
do
our
document
numbering
we
do
our
document
numbering
by
calendar
year,
even
though
the
county
runs
on
the
fiscal
year.
So
there's
always
two
sets
of
numbers
that
you're
gonna
see,
but
for
this
purpose,
I'm
just
gonna
talk
about
calendar
year.
So
for
the
calendar
year
we
recorded
fourteen
thousand
eight
hundred
and
seventy-five
documents
you
see
that
was
up
slightly
from
2018
but
kinda
down
to
so
it's
a
positive
note.
Looking
at
that
things
are
starting
to
pick
up
a
little
bit.
H
But
again
you
know
we're
a
reactive
office.
So
until
it
comes
in,
we
can't
count
it
so,
but
I
just
wanted
you
to
see
that
also
I
wanted
to
just
remind
you.
The
office
is
still
staffed
with
just
three
deputy
recorders,
one
chief
deputy
and
myself
I'm,
very,
very
proud
of
the
work
that
we've
done
and
the
work
that
we
continue
to
do
we're
doing
still
a
lot
of
the
past
cleanup
work,
making
it
clean
and
more
accessible
for
the
customers
to
be
able
to
find
what
they're
looking
for.
H
So,
to
give
you
an
idea
and
I've
told
you
this
before
we
did
some
back
indexing
projects
from
1967
to
1970,
because
that
microfiche
was
getting
vinegar
syndrome
and
needed
to
be
removed
out
of
the
cabinet,
so
it
didn't
affect
the
rest
of
the
film
that
was
33,000
documents
that
we
back
in
imaged
ourselves
index
verified
and
have
in
the
computer
system
and
out
of
those
drawers.
Also
along
with
that,
we
continued
to
do
back
indexing
when
I
came
into
office
in
2008.
The
office
was
only
computerized
half
of
1991
to
that
point
in
2008.
H
So
since
I
took
office,
we've
done
1987
finishing
up
1991,
and
that
was
77077
documents.
We
back
imaged
indexed.
So
when
our
workload
for
the
day
is
not
busy
for
current
day
work,
we're
always
working
on
the
past
day's
work
along
with
again
cleaning
up
images,
cleaning
up
indexing
misspellings
because
we're
human,
our
fingers
get
faster
than
our
brain,
sometimes
so
we're
always
fixing
and
cleaning
up
things
like
that.
H
So
you're
probably
wondering
why
that's
so
important,
because
if
you
don't
need
the
office,
you
don't
really
understand
why.
But
daily
customers
are
asking
us
all
the
time
for
older
information.
Past
information,
if
you're
a
historian,
you
want
to
get
an
historical
record
on
something.
If
you
just
bought
that
house,
you
want
to
know
who
else
had
owned
that
house,
especially
if
it's
an
older
home
in
some
of
our
more
historical
districts,
people
are
hiring
companies
from
way
far
away
other
places
to
do
work
for
them
for
mortgages
for
actually
the
transferor
property.
H
So
those
customers
now
don't
have
the
access
to
be
able
to
walk
into
the
office
so
they're,
depending
on
the
Internet
to
do
those
title
searches.
So
it's
really
really
important
that
our
information
is
correct
and
accurate
as
possible.
Again,
we're
human
we're,
not
perfect,
but
we
really
try
very
hard
to
get
that
done.
H
We
accommodate
customers
who
call
us
up
and
say
they
need
this
document.
We
have
methods
and
means
they
can
get
it
immediately
through
our
third-party
vendor
or
wait
a
little
longer
send
us
a
check
for
seven
dollars,
we'll
send
you
a
document
in
2019
I
told
you
about
the
restoration
project
that
we're
doing,
which
is
the
57
grant
or
grant
ebooks
that
are
in
my
office.
If
you
don't
know
what
that
is,
I
encourage
you
to
come
in
and
not
to
show
you.
These
are
the
original
books
of
how
the
work
was
originally
done.
H
Going
all
the
way
back
to
1853.
These
books
are
giving
repurposed
and
redone
a
new
100
year
paper
and
bounded
so
that
they
will
be
strong
and
have
longevity
way
beyond
any
of
us.
So
that
is
on
schedule.
We
have
eight
books
completed.
We
have
ten
books
scheduled
for
this
year
and
in
my
projection
of
the
next
five
years,
the
project
should
be
completed
and
done.
So
that
is
accordingly
with
how
I
budget
the
computer
fund
each
year,
we've
also
made
some
investments
in
our
office
in
terms
of
technology
and
equipment.
H
As
you
all
know,
we
had
to
upgrade
to
the
new
Microsoft,
which
required
us
to
upgrade
all
the
computers
and
so
along
with
that
we've
upgraded
the
microfilm
readers.
So
if
you
ever
had
to
look
at
microfilm
in
school
or
whatever
the
old
units
yeah,
we
don't
have
those
anymore
they're.
Very
Swift
and
smooth
we've
invested
a
total
of
seventeen
thousand
dollars
over
the
last
six
years
and
purchased
three
microphone,
readers
that
are
very
efficient
and
quick
and
they
make
the
images
cleaner.
It's
very
nice,
my
title,
searchers
love
it.
H
Customers
love
it
they're
easy
to
operate,
which
has
also
allowed
us
to
be
able
to
do
this
backlog
project
that
we're
working
on
every
day.
It's
really
made
it
very
efficient
and
it's
less
expensive
than
paying
a
company
to
just
take
the
film
and
do
it
for
us.
We
did
that
once
in
the
quality
and
we
received
back
was
not
good
at
all,
so
we
learned
from
our
mistakes
and
we
move
forward
from
there.
A
H
I
A
H
Idea
is
to
be
able
to
take
those
books
and
and
that'll
be
a
discussion
either
with
State
Archives
or
possibly
with
our
local
Historical,
Society
or
just
keeping
them
here
in
the
county.
But
the
efficiency
and
clarity
of
the
new
books
are
gonna,
be
better
for
the
customers,
because
the
pages
are
breaking
yeah.
My
office
really
isn't
dirty,
but
if
you
come
in
and
there's
crumbs
on
the
floor,
that's
the
pages.
H
H
But
we
have
customers
in
there
right
now
doing
that
very
same
work,
so
the
other
investment
we
made
in
the
office
this
past
year
was
my
oh
say:
plat,
printer
and
scanner,
that
is
to
be
able
to
take
Platts
new
planted
subdivisions
and
the
mile
ours
and
be
able
to
scan
them
into
the
system
and
put
them
into
our
recording
system.
Plus
this
equipment
has
been
used
to
help
the
Regional
Office
of
Education.
We
scanned
all
their
blueprints
form
and
put
them
on
a
flash
drive.
H
F
H
Piece
of
equipment
no
longer
was
supported
and
we
estimated
it
was
between
16
and
20
years
old.
So
we
do
keep
things
for
a
while
other
than
our
books.
We
do
keep
equipment
for
a
while,
so
we
are
continuing
to
make
investments.
The.
A
H
H
H
No,
no
grandchildren,
no,
but
so
we're
gonna
be
down
mm-hmm
a
person,
so
everyone's
ready
to
step
up
and
do
whatever
we
need
to
do.
But
you
know
keep
in
mind
if
things
don't
get
to
you
as
quickly
as
you
had
asked
for
them
we're
working
on
it
and
but
we're
looking
forward
to
adding
to
Dan
stats
for
2020.
A
H
H
A
J
F
H
December
or
in
January
2018
is
when
we
instituted
the
new
predictable
fee,
so
there
was
a
slight
change
there,
but
if
you
look
at
the
document
volume,
unfortunately,
because
unless
you
look
back
at
those
particular
months
for
that
month,
you'll
see
a
lot
depends
on
the
document
volume.
Usually
it's
the
state
stamps
like
you'll,
see
this
month
for
the
month
of
December,
the
state
stamps
for
$46,000.
H
So
that's
a
dollar
per
thousand
on
the
transaction
mm-hmm.
So
that
was
the
value
of
the
transactions
for
the
month
of
December.
It
was
a
good
month.
Okay,
typically,
it
seems
like
we
averaged
between
23
and
25
thousand
normally
they're.
In
December,
though
there
was
a
lot
more
commercial
that
transacted
so
but
again
we're
a
reactive
office.
We
can't
go
out
and
market,
but
were
there
to
perform
a
service,
so
I
can't
make
those
numbers
continue
to
decline.
H
H
A
A
But
she's
she's,
better
she's,
getting
stronger
all
the
time.
Okay
exit
on
your
agendas,
Animal
Control,
Carol
Aird-
is
here
miss
Peters
guess
what
time
it
is.
Are
you
willing
to
accept
her
report?
Proof
a
report?
Okay,
so
mr.
hawk,
are
you
stuck
in
there
today?
Yes,
all
in
favor
of
accepting
the
report
of
Animal,
Control
Department,
please
say
aye
in
Ipoh,
say
aye
motion
carried.
I
Holy
a
couple
things
to
report:
if
you
look
at
the
animal
inventory,
the
cats
are
up
to
49
and
then
the
adoptions
were
listed
as
43.
We
have
a
company
that
my
company,
oh,
we
have
a
shelter
that
works
well
with
us,
and
our
adoption
coordinator
works
well
with
her
and
with
them
as
well,
and
they
took
40
cats
from
us,
so
that
helps
out
a
lot
but
you'll
notice.
At
the
end
of
the
month,
we
also
had
22
cats,
so
our
cats
come
in
frequently.
So
that's
a
big
problem
throughout
the
county.
I
I
K
A
Anything
else
on
the
report
are
you
concerned
or
wondering
or
glad
for
the
one
thing,
I
guess
I
wouldn't
point
out
to
is
the
last
column
last
your
total
to
date
isn't
under
the
eye
IPT
IP
yeah,
you
have
to
phone.
The
building
fund
just
see
that
number
one
hundred
and
fifty
three
thousand
seven
hundred
fifty
three
dollars
and
fifteen
cents.
So
that's
fair!
That
is
there.
There's.
I
Actually,
more
than
that,
this
was
last
year's
total.
So
this
goes
by
fiscal
year.
So
this
year's
total
is
only
three
hundred
eighty
five
dollars
in
that
fund,
but
it's
actually
a
transfer
over.
That's
only
what
we
put
in
so
far
this
year,
but
is
there
that
is
there
along
with
I,
don't
know
the
totals
from
last
year,
but
is
there
I
want
to
say
yeah
I,
don't
know
the
number
I'd
have
to
look
at
that
and
see
what
the
actual
total
number
is
for.
A
I
Been
it's
going
really
well,
the
staff
has
been
great
I've
had
no
complaints,
everybody.
There
has
been
really
wonderful,
dealing
with
animal
control
at
the
sheriff's
department.
The
sheriff
had
address
the
protected.
We
have
more
resources
now,
I
think
resources
were
there.
They
were
never
asked
for
in
a
sense,
so
they
are
they're,
utilizing
maintenance
and
the
NJ
from
our
vehicles,
so
we've
been
using
them
quite
a
bit
too
many
radios.
F
A
I'd
like
to
do
is
the
American
Animal
Welfare
Committee
met
last
recently
on
the
15th
and
I'd
like
to
combine
that
together.
So
what
carrie-
and
I
have
are
the
minutes
of
that
meeting
and
so
we're
gonna
I'm
gonna,
ask
her
and
then
it'll
be
one
one
combined
report
there.
So,
for
example,
I'll
say
cameras
and
you
say
so.
I
We
did
have
actually
nine
cameras
that
have
been
installed
at
the
building.
They
had
was
there
before
they
weren't
being
used
or
they
weren't
up
to
date,
so
they
have
been
updated
and
it's
a
new
system
in
your
recording
system
there.
So
we
do
have
nine
cameras
currently
in
the
building
that
are
recording
24
hours
a
day,
seven
days
a
week.
So.
A
I
There
is
currently
nothing
in
the
building
that
keeps
anyone
out
if
it's
unwanted
in
the
area.
I
should
say
the
staff
it
just
has
an
open
door.
You
just
walk
right
in
there.
It's
not
locked,
not
locked
into
the
kennel
I'm
working
on
getting
locks
installed
from
maintenance,
so
just
keep
the
staff.
If
you
made
more
sense
of
safety
there,
how.
I
B
I
We
are
currently
still
looking
for
a
kennel
technician,
full-time
and
then
one
of
our
step
members
accepted
to
come
30
hours
a
week
rather
than
the
20
that
she
was
offered
before.
So
we
had
looked
for
a
part-time
clerical
and
she
just
decided
to
take
30
take
10
more
hours.
So
it
helps
us
out
a
lot
so.
A
A
D
Question
are
you
named
issues
with
who
does
what,
in
the
feel
like?
If
you
have
your
officer
still
do?
I
still
have
your
three.
I
The
angle
officers
are
still
handling
all
the
calls
on
their
own.
The
sure
experiment
has
more,
they
do
police
more
related
issues.
Currently
I
know
if
there
is
assistance
needed
I'm
sure
the
deputies
would
be
more
than
happy
to
assist
us,
but
there's
not
been
any
reason
to
utilize
them.
At
this
time
there.
I
Well,
yes,
yep
actually
I've
been
trying
to
get
the
share
apartment
and
deputies
in
there
more
just
doing
deposits
on
a
daily
basis
or
a
weekly
basis,
and
they
come
in
there
and
they
actually
meet
with
the
staff.
I
introduce
them
as
they
come
in
with
the
staff
we're
going
through
the
facility
to
try
and
get
them
to
take
a
dog
or
a
cat
or
two
on
the
right.
Now,
okay,.
I
I
I
D
I
A
Had
talked
about
it
at
the
advisory
meeting
that
our
original
discussion
was
that
animal
control
would
be
the
enforcing
line
and
the
shelters
would
be
the
adopting
line
and
it
hasn't
gotten
there
yet
because,
as
I
mentioned
in
so
my
article,
you
have
a
lot
of
animals.
So
it'll
still
stay
that
way.
Yeah.
I
A
I
Do
both
so
one
of
the
shelters
that
works
with
animal
control?
That's
not
in
the
area,
they
look
on
our
website
and
they
see
that
our
adoptable
dogs
and
they
have
room
they
come
down
and
take
adoptable
dogs
from
us.
So
we
offer
that
to
any
other
shelter
in
the
area.
You
know
we
don't
make
money
a
lot
on
our
dogs,
our
adoption
fees
are
pretty
low
for
the
area,
so
we're
not
in
the
business
of
making
money
on
adoptions.
We
want
to
get
the
dogs
in
and
out.
D
I
We
have
adaptable
dogs
because
we
have
to
have
adaptable
dogs
in
the
area,
because
most
of
our
shelters
in
the
area
usually
are
typically
full.
So
we
have
adoptable
dogs.
If
they're
wanting
to
take
adopted
dogs
from
us
we're
more
than
happy
to
transfer
them
out,
we
did
transfer
a
puppy
I
think
within
the
first
month
to
Humane
Foundation
and
the
puppy
was
gone.
That
day
it
happened
worked
out
perfectly
River
Valley
is
taking
some
from
us
today.
There's
making
two
cats
and
one
dog.
A
I
A
Related
or
something
like
that,
they
can
put
out
there.
The
fourth
thing
is:
it's
really
I
like
to
rehab
Carrie
talked
about
this
meeting
with
municipalities
over
the
years.
That's
at
least
2013.
We
we
really
wanted
to
get
an
in
in
a
governmental
agreement
with
municipalities.
So
what
have
you
done
so.
I
The
sheriff
and
I
met
was
Bourbonnais
before
before
last
meeting
we
met
Bourbonnais,
they
were
interested
in.
In
a
sense,
they
told
us
about
a
mayor's
Association
meeting
that
happened
last
Wednesday,
so
sheriff
and
I
went
to
that
talk
to
quite
a
few
mayor's.
There
talked
about
contracting
with
them.
There
has
been
nothing
further
that
was
just
last
week,
so
we're
still
working
on
getting
contractors
I'm
talking
with
all
the
municipalities
and
mayor's
I
think.
A
A
E
E
To
give
you
an
example,
the
two
intergovernmental
agreements
we
have
right
now
are
with
Chebanse
and
with
buckingham,
probably
the
two
smallest
jurisdictions
we
have
in
the
county
and
one
of
the
things
that
those
inter
governmental
intergovernmental
agreements
address
is
a
per
capita
amount.
In
other
words,
whatever
your
population
is
times
some
multiplier
and
that's
where
they
come
up
with
that.
Well,
if
you
do
that
in
the
bigger
municipalities
and
take,
for
example,
the
city
of
Kankakee,
where
there's
27,000
people
well,
if
you're
asking
them
for
$2.25,
which
I
believe
is
the
number
of.
E
They've
used
in
the
past
you're
talking
$60,000
for
them
to
enter
in
an
agreement
with
you
and
that's
unrealistic
for
these
municipalities.
So
what
we've
done
and
and
Kerry
did
the
the
work
on
this,
but
it
was
the
work
that
was
already
there,
but
she
put
it
all
together.
We
have
taken
every
municipality
in
our
County
and
have
averaged
out
the
number
of
money
that
these
municipalities
have
paid
over
the
course
of
20
years.
E
So
that's
a
good
range
of
numbers
that
we
have
so
the
number
for
example
and
I
know
this
because
of
our
meeting
with
the
village
of
bourbon,
a
I
believe
bourbon
a
has
averaged
about
three
thousand
ninety-four
dollars
that
they
pay
per
year.
Just
by
calling
us
out
well,
you're,
not
gonna,
go
to
bourbonnais
and
say:
oh
by
the
way,
you've
got
eighteen
thousand
constituents
in
five
times
two
and
a
quarter.
Bourbonnais
is
not
gonna
pay
us
forty
thousand
dollars,
if
they're
only
paying
three
and
then
so.
We
basically
have
said,
look
we're
gonna.
J
E
Talking
Bourbonnais
we're
talking
somewhere
around
thirty
five
hundred
dollars,
give
or
take
100
or
so,
and
so
I
think.
That's
why
the
mayors
were
much
more
receptive
to
entering
into
agreements
with
us
and
it'll,
make
it
easier
for
bourbonnais
or
it
immediately.
It
will
make
it
easier
for
the
municipalities
it'll
make
it
easier
for
us,
because
it
won't
be
that
question
of.
Should
we
respond
shouldn't.
We
respond
because,
as
it
is
now,
when
things
happen
in
these
municipalities,
they
may
not
be
good,
but
their
municipality
issues.
E
A
I
Didn't
embark
become
familiar
with
bark,
it
is
basically
the
fundraising
arm
for
the
animal
control
I
met
with
them
at
the
meeting.
What
successful,
they're
still
holding
off
on
fundraising,
they
were
still
trying
to
get
their
bearings
under
what
was
happening
with
the
transition.
So
thank
the
next
meeting
is
next
month,
so
we're
gonna
go
with
that
again.
We.
A
I
I
So
our
current
owner,
sir
owner
elective
Houston
Asia,
is
on
hold
because
the
solution
was
being
sent
back.
I
am
NOT,
used,
certified
euthanasia,
tech,
I'm
working
on
that
that
will
be
in
March,
Julie
and
Kelly
were
the
techs
and
we
didn't
be
ran
out
of
solution.
The
expired
solution,
so
that's
being
sent
back,
so
we
are
not
doing
owner
Alec
euthanasia
at
this
time.
We
still
our
animals
if
they
do
need
be
if
and
ice.
We
still
can
utilize
that,
but
we
don't
have
that
honor
portion
of
it
is.
A
It
this
on
the
back
year,
report-
okay,
so
that
was
where
remember
that
report
we
used
to
look.
We
had
looked
at
in
the
past
under
total
euthanasia.
This
b4
was
the
number.
There
is
10
what
one
eight,
but
what
an
in
case
here
it
was
eight
with
a
wildlife,
and
so
that
would
have
been
dogs
at
all.
It
would
have
been
dance
or
most.
I
A
And
then
the
meeting
with
the
shelters
that
you
had
had
the
one
good
meeting
and
the
what
we
talked
about
our
advisory
meeting
was
communication.
You
don't
have
to
be
in
the
same
room
with
somebody
but
the
communication,
whichever
way,
whether
it's
technology
or
by
phone
just
important
to
just
keep
in
touch,
and
you
had
to
emphasize
looking
at
your
website
so
that
people
can
see
what's
available.
Our.
I
A
I
I
Had
called
me
and
said
that
they
picked
local
charities
in
a
sense
in
the
area
and
they
thought
of
our
name,
so
they
asked
a
sheriff
and
myself
to
come
in
there
and
speak
on
the
transition.
We
went
there
and
we
met
with
72
Realtors
and
lending
and
insurance
met
with
them.
They
would
give
a
presentation
and
talked
about.
You
know
what
we
do,
what
we
offer,
what
our
service
desire,
they
did.
A
split
pot
and
the
woman
who
wants
to
put
the
pot
Gino
l'amour
gave
the
whole
entire
pot
back
to
us.
D
A
I
I
So
if
your
animal
is
not
microchip,
we
don't
know
the
owner,
it's
a
three-day
hold,
we
do
know
the
owner
and
they
or
they
are
microchipped
at
the
seven-day
hold.
So
we
hold
on
to
those
for
that
long
assess
them,
but
they
are
adoptable
Kelly.
Does
that
and
then,
if
they
are
adaptable,
we
move
them
over
the
adaptable
side
and
then
we
put
them
up
on
our
website.
You.
A
I
There
was
a
kitten
and
I
think
it
was
right
in
the
beginning,
if
not
maybe
even
in
November,
when
this
happened,
that
a
kitten
was
being
abused
in
moments.
I
want
to
say
the
gentleman
has
since
been
brought
to
jail
and
I.
Don't
know
the
outcome
of
his
case
of
her
and
gets
coming
this
pending,
but
the
cat
was
brought
up
north
to
one
of
the
shelters
and
I
believe
one
of
their
staff
is
adopting
the
cat.
Mm-Hmm
don't
survived
it's
a
good
story,
but
most.
I
A
A
I
Our
cats
in
the
area
always
have
to
be
vaccinated
and
microchips.
Cats
that
are
domestic
have
to
be
vaccinated
microchipped
already,
so
that
was
a
new
lot
of
the
state,
but
not
a
new
law
to
the
area
and
as
far
as
the
kennel,
the
law
I
believe,
says
it's
a
kennel
and
we
are
not
a
kennel
way
to
clarify
that
with
our
state's
attorney
for
the
fire
suppression
system.
So
we
have
to
look
into
that,
but
there.
A
Are
fire
fire
alarms
in
your
and
your
fire
extinguisher
its
extinguisher,
so
you
are
prepared
crap,
just
okay
and
then
in
summary,
we
just
were
grateful
for
Kerry,
because
these
are
strides,
don't
you
think
Sheriff
and
she
have
made
strides
and
that
we
talked
about
there
is
a
fencing
available
that
you're
hoping
later
they
have
a
fence
up,
so
you
can
walk
with
more
available
and
just
and
the
involvement
of
the
maintenance
area
here
to
help
you
out
with
the
things
we
need.
They.
I
K
I
F
F
I
K
Thank
you,
madam
chairman,
mrs.
alert.
Thank
you
so
much
for
working
on
the
municipality
agreements.
The
smaller
municipalities
are
were
really
fearful
of
the
fees
when
they
came
across
the
board.
So
a
couple
questions
about
that
particular
thing.
Have
you
officially
told
the
municipalities
what
their
fee
going
forward
would
be
yet
now.
I
K
After
you
get
that
official
draft,
could
you
provide
it
to
this
committee
because
I
know
my
my
municipalities,
aroma
and
st.
Anne
would
probably
jump
at
the
chance
to
take
that
average
and
then
and
then,
how
would
they
pay
for
that?
Would
that
be
one
lump
sum,
or
would
you
want
to
break
it
down
per
month?
That.
K
A
question
right
yeah
for
for
me
to
you
to
see
if
they
could
be
broken
out
12-month
period
or
a
six-month
period
or
whatever
works
for
you
and
sheriff,
because
I
know
Colton's,
probably
his
his
towns
are
probably
the
same
way
they
would
like
to
enter
in
those
agreements
and
they
get
floored
when
they
get.
Maybe
a
two
thousand
dollar
fee,
one
time
and
then
a
two
hundred
dollar
fee
the
next
month.
So
it
would
help
them
budget
tremendously
if
they
could
get
that
number
and
then
we
can
help
push
that
through,
for
you
too.
E
More
than
likely,
we
would
break
that
down
quarterly.
Okay,
so
and
I.
Don't
remember
st.
Anne's
number
or
grant
parks
number
specifically,
but
they
are
not
as
much
as
one
might
think
so.
Broken
down
quarterly
was
probably
the
easiest
and
I
think
it's
easier
for
even
in
municipalities
that
have
larger.
K
A
Now
so
the
most
most
mentis
on
working
on
budgets
right
now
it
wouldn't
ever
not
get
approved
unless
it
was
in
the
budget.
I
would
think
so
that
would
be
key
to
have
that
really
well
good
good
good
to
be
this
far
in
there.
So,
okay,
anything
else,
Laird,
okay,
I'm!
Just
going
to
add
these
three:
don't
please
don't
go,
but
the
three
other
things
we
remember,
the
reckless
owner
thing,
it's
still
with
the
state's
attorney,
but
the
committee
agreed
that
reckless
owners
need
to
be
addressed.
A
A
With
the
same
owners
so
the
they
asked
to
be
had
that
continued
on
our
agenda
and
then
Don
Tut
with
the
wildlife
feeding
that
remember
that
we
had
that
idea
of
the
geese
being
fed
bred,
and
that
was
a
good
diet
when
there
are
signs
available.
So
there
are
different
municipalities
going
to
be
invited
by
their
mayor's
to
have
signs
put
up
and
there
are
signs
and
for
Kankakee
and
then
just
student
interest
in
helping
out
too,
and
there
are
some
fundraisers
coming
up.
There's
a
wildlife
fundraiser
coming
up
in
February.
A
F
I
Be
a
question
for
the
Wildlife
rehabbers
in
the
area.
We
don't
typically
deal
with
a
lot
of
wildlife
unless
they're
in
the
home
or
you
know
the
municipality
is
call
us
for
assistance.
So
if
you're
in
a
home
I
would
suggest
you
call
the
Wildlife
rehabbers
that
are
local
to
the
area,
you
can
call
animal
control.
We
can
give
you
all
the
numbers
that
we
have.
Then
we
utilize
that
we
you
know
we
can
provide
those
sure,
okay,.
F
And
roofs
and
all
that
stuff
yeah.
I
A
Was
trying
to
think
it's
his
3d
wildlife
and
rehabilitation,
I
think
dawn
dawn
Tut
is
her
company
she's
looking
and
that's
number
that
you
have
for
sure
something
else
anything
else:
okay,
if
and
welcome
to
stay
here,
we'll
finish
it
so
any
other
new
or
old
business
that
you
have
today
just
good
reports.
Everyone,
thanks
for
participation
in
all
your
motions
that
you
made
anything
else.
Okay,
miss
Dunbar
mr.
Farrow
lien
seconds
at
all
in
favor
of
a
journey
say
aye
any
opposed.
