this

they

in
the

D
Next
is
section
17:
zero,
zero,
301,
there's
our
br9
MFT.
This
is
the
bridge
on
the
Livingston
Kankakee
County
line,
where
we're
paying
seventy
almost
75
percent
of
the
cost,
and
this
is
pay
estimate
number
two
and
that
amount
is
48
thousand
seven
hundred
fifty
two
dollars
and
fifty
five
cents
and
last
is
our
section:
17
0,

zero,
br9
MFT,
though
I'm
sure
it's
not
the
last
one,
the
table,
the
toby's
construction
and
cartage.
This
is
for
deck
repair
on
the
bridge
in
Roma
Park,
and
that
amount
is
2,900.
D
E
E
D
D
Okay,
three
resolutions
this
morning.
The
first
resolution
is
a
resolution
to
authorize
our
motor
fuel
tax
funds
for
the
2019
year.
This
is
a
total
amount
that
I
have
to
send
a
resolution
over
to
I
dot,
and
then
they
they
don't
authorize
any
more
than
what
this
resolution
says
for
the
whole
year.
So
the
the
amount
actually
comes
from
the
budget,
and
that
amount
is
three
million.
Four
hundred
nine
thousand
three
hundred
fifty
five
dollars.
A
B
D
D
Well,
the
resolution
I'm
sure
you
have
the
resolution,
but
the
resolution
adopted
was
for
last
year
was
a
hundred
and
two
percent
of
the
recommended
salary.
The
recommended
salary
for
Kankakee
County
is
one
hundred
twenty
four
thousand
five
hundred
twenty
seven
dollars,
so
102
percent
of
that
is
127
thousand
seventeen
dollars
and
fifty
four
cents
and
fifty
percent
of
the
of
the
salary
comes
from
federal
funds
and
that's
what
this
are.
This
resolution
is
authorizing
those
federal
funds.
A
A
A
D
Right,
the
last
resolution
I
have
is
for
an
altered,
speed
zone
to
be
established
on
county
highway
10,
which
is
4,500
South
in
by
the
church
there,
in
which
shirt
we
had.
We've
had
several
requests
for
this
in
the
past,
so
the
recent
one
we
did
go
out
and
do
an
engineering
study,
and
it
did
it
did
validate
that
they
to
propose
a
45
mile,
an
hour
speed
limit
from
just
west
of
the
church
through
the
homes
on
that
south
side
of
the
road.
There
should
be
a
map
included.
A
D
Well
about
six
or
eight
months
ago,
we
were
informed
that
our
radios,
which
are
presently
analog,
are
not
going
to
work
after
January
1st
of
2020,
everything
is
going
digital,
and
so
we
I
did
get
a
hold
of
Tammy
Peterson
at
nine
one
one,
and
that
department
got
put
a
proposal
together
for
our
department
and
that
proposal
for
fifty
three
radios
that
we
need
comes
out
to
about
a
hundred
and
fifty
one
thousand
dollars
so
I
just
need.
I
did
put
it
in
my
budget.
D
A
F
F
D
D
We
also
need
a
new
terminal
for
all
the
departments
to
use
the
fuel
station
right
now
that
that
system
is
about
18
years
old
and
I,
don't
know
if
you
ever
walked
in
there
and
look
at
it.
It
is
a
dot
matrix
printer
and
that's
the
only
printer
that
you
can
use
for
that
thing,
that
if
that
tells
you
how
old
this
system
is
so
the
leak
detection
system
was
twenty
four
thousand
three
hundred
ten
dollars.
Then
these
are
estimates.
D
The
fuel
island
terminal
is
eleven
thousand
three
hundred
ninety
eight
dollars
and
we
do
need
new
fuel
pumps.
Those
pumps
are
have
been
there,
except
for
one
have
been
there
since
I
started,
and
that
was
thirty
three
years
ago,
we're
having
trouble
getting
parts
for
the
pumps
themselves,
and
so
the
estimate
we
have
for
the
fuel
pumps
is
thirty-five
thousand
eight
hundred
sixty
six
dollars.
So
the
total
is
seventy
one
thousand
five
hundred
seventy
four
dollars
now
the
highway
department
is,
has
run
the
fuel
station.
D
You
can
see
there
on
the
on
the
segment
last
column.
That's
that
breaks
it
all
down
for
the
percentage
of
that
total
gallons
and
I
did
some
of
the
Sheriff's
Department
there
for
their
their
portion,
I
just
kind
of
wanted
to
get
thoughts
if
I'm
barking
up
the
wrong
tree
or
or
if
everybody
thinks
this
would
be
a
fair
way
to
do
this.
We
would
probably
have
to
go
to
a
letting
since
it's
over
$30,000
to
do
this,
but
if
I'd
like
some
input,
if
anybody
has
any
input.
C
E
D
There's
been
no
study
that
I'm
aware
of
there's
two
things
that
why
it's
been
a
good
thing
for
us
in
the
past
and
probably
right
now
number
one.
We
know
what
diesel
is
in
the
ground
for
our
trucks
and
especially
in
the
winter
one
time,
and
during
that
terrible
snowstorm
about
five
years
ago,
we
had
to
fill
up
in
moments
because
you
couldn't
get
back
here
and
the
engine
gelled,
because
they
didn't
have
the
right
diesel
fuel
in
in
the
ground.
D
E
E
E
C
D
If
we
want
to
do
this
in
phases,
yes,
we
can
do
it
in
phases,
I'm
open
to
doing
it
in
phases,
but
like
this
last
time,
when
we
had
a
leak
in
one
of
the
we
had
something
happened
to
one
of
the
fuel
pumps
over
there
and
had
to
shut
it
down.
We
had
it,
we
had
a
very
difficult
time.
Finding
parts
I
mean
the
pumps
are
so
old.
C
E
A
B
F
You
know
mark
and
I
have
talked
about
this
and
I've
actually
talked
to
the
emergency
management
about
this
as
well.
There
is
a
a
non-dollar
cost
advantage
to
us
having
that
in
the
ground.
We
shouldn't
sell
that
short
because
for
them
to
be
able
to
fuel
up
at
any
time
day
or
night,
the
sheriff's
patrol.
It
is
something
that,
while
we
do
need
to
look
at
the
cost-
and
we
will
get
that
together,
we
can't
lose
sight
of
that
important
aspect
of
having
our
own
in
the
ground.
F
The
other.
The
other
thing
was
is
I
was
going
to
mention
that
we
do
need
to
talk
to
the
other
departments
and
these
other
entities
of
about
this
cost
allocation
and
and
it'll
be
a
finance
matter.
So
this
committee's
recommendation
I
think,
should
be
to
yeah,
let's
look
into
the
cost,
but
then
bring
all
of
that
along
with
the
conversations
to
the
Finance
Committee
meeting
at
the
end
of
the
month,
because
we
do
need
to
do
these
repairs
and
that
that's
not
something
that
we
can
really
wait.
A
D
It
kind
of
came
up
after
I
had
done
my
budget,
but
I
do
have
some
room
in
there
to
to
get
this
done,
which
which
county
highway
highway
so
yeah.
The
other
thing
is,
you
know
we
have.
We
have
cameras
over
there.
You
know
monitoring
in
and
for
our
monitoring
system.
We
we
there
are
times
stamps
on
all
those
fuel
transactions
and
if
we
see
something
suspicious,
we
can
go
back
on
our
cameras
and
look
to
see.
I,
don't
know
what
we
would
be
able
to
do.
C
D
G
D
G
Good
morning,
everyone
morning,
first
thing
on
the
agenda:
you'll
see
the
facility
report.
We
had
184
work
orders
for
the
month
of
October,
again
I
sound
like
a
broken
record,
but
we
usually
run
about
165.
So
we've
been
consistently
over
that
for
the
last
couple
months
now,
so
it
was
certainly
a
busy
October.
G
It
was
also
busy
from
a
financial
standpoint,
you'll
see
as
the
second
agenda
item
the
summary
here
we
had
$31,000
31:5
23:38
worth
of
expenditures
in
the
month
of
October,
a
majority
of
that
you
can
see
from
your
spreadsheet
there's
from
service
contracts,
which
total
fifteen
thousand
seven
hundred.
Seventy
a
couple
of
those
that
I'll
call
out
for
discussion.
One
is
Kankakee
disposal
that
was
1094
97
and
that
is
for
garbage
service
at
the
admin
building,
the
new
jail
and
the
old
jail
and
that's
daily
service
at
those
locations.
G
The
second
is
for
connais
elevator,
and
we
discussed
this
at
the
last
meeting
as
well
for
5,005
62
and
that
for
maintenance
on
all
the
buildings,
and
we
discussed
that
a
little
bit
at
the
last
meeting
as
well.
I've
dug
a
little
deeper
into
the
maintenance
agreement
and
it
also
covers
repairs.
So
if
there's
any
issue
that
comes
up,
you
know
at
any
time
for
ordinary,
wear
and
tear
which
you
know
we're
not
repairing
our
elevators,
we're
not
touching
them.
G
So,
basically,
any
repair
or
breakdown
is
going
to
be
ordinary,
wear
and
tear,
so
they
come
out
and
they
handle
that
under
the
maintenance
agreement.
So
that
is
one
thing
that
I
did
discover
is
digging
through
some
of
our
agreement
with
connais
cummins.
They
handle
our
generator
maintenance.
They
were
out
last
month
than
their
bill
was
3000,
206,
o
and
then
I
had
a
large
chase
credit
card
bill
1000
for
2128,
and
that
was
for
basically
boiler
licensing
at
the
old
Jail,
where
we
have
many.
G
G
A
G
We
have
one
truck
still
in
the
shop.
That's
the
truck
dump
truck
that
services,
jerome
combs.
It's
got
a
fuel
line
issue
and
the
fuel
line,
as
I'm
told,
is
on
backorder.
So
that's
in
the
shop
right
now,
so
we're
short-handed
on
plows,
but
we're
making
do
we
borrowed
the
plow
from
here.
We
got
that
down
at
Jerome,
combs
right
now
and
so
everything's
fine,
as
you
can
see
when
you
pulled
up.
Hopefully
the
parking
lot
was
in
decent
shape
and
sidewalks
chasing
air
in
the
boiler
system.
G
You
know
with
the
cold
weather
now
when
we
had
to
drain
the
system
to
make
those
boiler,
repairs
and
air
handler
unit
air
handler
3
we've
got
air
all
over
the
system.
So
we're
constantly
bleeding
air
in
the
radiators
too,
to
try
to
get
the
system
working
as
it
should
I
think
we've
pretty
well
got
it,
but
I'll
walk
into
a
bathroom
every
now
and
then
it'll
be
pretty
chilly,
so
we'll
just
have
to
you
know.
We
continue
to
bleed
air.
G
The
WeatherBug
camera
is
now
installed
and
it's
working
and
the
correct
tag
is
on
it.
It
said
courthouse
for
some
time
it
does
say:
Kankakee
County,
Administration
Building,
it's
kind
of
a
neat
tool
for
me,
I
like
to
use
it.
You
know
especially
this
time
of
year,
just
to
see
you
know
when
the
snow
started,
you
know
just
kind
of
keep
tabs
on.
You
know
current
events
here
at
the
building.
So
if
you
haven't
checked
it
out,
you
know
check
it
out
online.
It
works
better
online
than
it
does
on
the
mobile
phone.
G
G
Moving
on
to
the
courthouse
as
many
as
you
can
see,
hopefully
on
your
way
in
today,
if
you
drove
by
the
the
monument
at
the
northwest
corner
is
under
way,
they
were
out
there
yesterday
laying
block
so
that's
moving
along.
We
did
have
a
customer
at
the
courthouse
that
tripped
on
the
front
steps
I'm,
not
sure
where
that
stands
currently,
but
just
making
the
committee
aware
of
that
maintenance
staff
is
patching
and
painting
former
Judge
ton
gates
office.
G
Getting
that
ready
for
I,
believe
Judge
drew
is
going
to
be
moving
into
that
office
and
then
an
ad
a
update,
Andy
and
I
had
meetings
set
up
actually
for
this
week
that
were
postponed.
Regarding
you
know
the
outside
ramp,
the
interior
modifications,
and
we
don't
have
any
other
update
than
that.
As
of
right
now,
correct.
F
With
the
attorney
general's
office
asked
to
delay
it
until
December,
so
we'll
have
more
to
go.
They
sent
down
some
some
questions,
some
things
that
we
have
to
talk
about.
As
far
as
you
know,
things
we
have
done,
but
all
in
all,
it's
still
moving
in
a
very
positive
direction,
so
we're
open
that
we
can
get
some
things
done
internally,
this
winter
and
then
externally
we
address
the
ramp.
You
know
as
soon
as
the
weather
breaks
in
the
spring.
A
G
Right
moving
on
to
the
annex
came
in
earlier
this
week
and
it
was
55
degrees
in
the
annex
building
which
mr.
Lathem
was
not
thrilled.
The
boiler
went
out
overnight
and,
as
that
system
is
a
very
old
system
and
I
I
don't
get
an
alarm
when
that
boiler
goes
off.
So
sorry,
I'm
not
checking
the
HVAC
systems
on
the
hour
through
the
night.
So
when
I
got
in
and
noticed
it
was
cold,
we
made
the
phone
calls
our
maintenance
staff
actually
repaired
the
unit.
We
got
it
back
up
and
run
and
took
about.
G
You
know
six
to
eight
hours
to
get
it
back
up
to
temperature,
but
it
is
right
now
so
that
happened
here
a
couple
days
ago.
Vending
machines
are
going
to
be
moved
at
the
annex
next
week,
they're
gonna
go
up
to
the
second
floor
and
what
that's
going
to
do?
That's
going
to
allow
more
room
for
the
security
area
that
we've
been
talking
about
for
what
seems
like
a
couple
months.
Now:
that's
nearing
completion.
So
once
we
get
the
vending
machines
moved
we'll
get
the
magnetometer
in
there
we'll
get
a
couple
desks
installed.
G
We've
discussed
that
numerous
times,
it's
a
very
significant
expense,
so
I'm
trying
to
look
at
some
different
options.
For
that
you
know
kitchen,
faucets
or
leaking.
You
know
it's
you,
you
name
it.
It's
happened
over
there,
so
you
know
we
continue
to
fix
it.
It's
you
know
it's
a
obviously,
it's
an
old
building.
A
lot
of
those
issues
are
to
be
expected.
One
issue
that
we
didn't
expect
is
the
new
elevator
that
we
put
in
is
clanging
and
banging,
and
it's
it
doesn't
sound
good.
G
So
we
have
coning
out
last
week
they
grease
the
rails
on
the
unit,
thought
that
would
take
care
of
it
doesn't
sound
like
it
did.
I'm
gonna
meet
them
over
there
after
this
meeting
here
this
morning,
at
some
point
to
actually
ride
the
elevator
with
them
and
try
to
determine
what's
going
on
so
obviously
it's
a
warranty
type
issue
was
just
installed,
so
I
mean
it
shouldn't,
be
any
more
expense,
so
recovered
from
the
warranty
perspective,
and
because
we
have
the
maintenance
agreement
with
Coney.
G
So
I'll
keep
you
posted
on
what
we
find
out
there
out
of
Durham
combs
I
mentioned
before
the
dump
trucks
in
the
sir
in
the
shop,
the
hydraulics
for
the
John
Deere
tractor
weren't
working
correctly,
so
that
had
to
go
up
to
John
Deere
for
service.
It's
now
back
we
had
a
tree
fall
during
last
month's
high
winds,
maintenance
staff
took
care
of
it.
I
would
like
to
start
allocating
some
time.
You
know
over
the
winter
months
to
you
know,
start
doing
some
painting
out
there.
G
I
know
if
you
any
of
you,
walk
through
some
of
the
hallways
out
there,
but
I
don't
think
any
paint
has
touched.
Those
walls-
and
you
know
long
time
so
I'd
like
to
try
to
do
it
with
maintenance
staff
and
at
minimum
expense.
But
the
the
problems
going
to
be
is
trying
to
find
the
time
you
know
to
have
my
people
do
that,
because
you
know
the
days
are
jam-packed
as
it
is
so
when
and
if
we
find
the
time.
That's
something
that's
kind
of
on
my
radar
cabinets
in
booking.
G
G
Our
portion
is
complete
if
you
remember
we're
installing
the
overhead
door
on
phase
three
in
large
part,
because
it's
a
heavy
door
and
it's
it's
very
difficult
to
open,
but
also
the
V
AC
is
going
to
be
using
that
to
store
the
their
van
or
bus
in
over
the
winter
months.
So
that's
just
about
done
we're
waiting
on
corrections
to
handle
the
wiring
portion,
the
security
wiring
that
needs
to
go
in,
but
everything
in
our
end
is
done.
So,
let's
see
I
think
that's
about
it,
where
the
maintenance
staff
is
helping
over
at
Animal
Control.
G
With
a
couple
issues,
we
had
a
roof
repair
that
we
had
to
handle.
There's
some
interior
work
that
I'm
gonna
have
my
staff
handle
again,
but
you
know
with
with
snow
and
getting
ready
for
snow
and
having
it
snowing
now,
plus
our
normal
workload
and
then
trying
to
get
over
there
to
handle
repairs.
It's
you
know,
there's
oftentimes
just
enough
hours
in
the
day,
so
that's
it's!
All.
I
got
okay.
