Description
Highways & Buildings Committee Meeting 9/16/2021 9:00 AM
A
I'd
like
to
call
the
highway
and
build
a
committee
meeting
on
thursday
september
16
2002
when
I
went
to
order
roll
call.
Please.
A
B
A
A
Everybody
in
favor
signify
by
say
we
did
a
well
call.
I'm
sorry,
I'm
sorry
white
vote.
You
said:
okay,
thank
you,
everybody
in
favor
signify
by
say,
aye
aye.
Anybody
oppose
the
same
sign.
A
Okay,
next
on
your
jedi
will
be
highway
with
mr
rogers.
A
Can
I
have
a
okay
that
will
be
got
here,
mr
long
and
second
miss
spring
okay,
there
will
be
a
roll
call.
Please.
Mr.
A
C
C
C
Okay,
good
morning
for
everybody
that
is
new
here
we
declared
this
equipment
surplus,
and
so
we
have
a
sale
every
year
around
this
time
of
year
to
get
rid
of
the
stuff
that's
sitting
around
the
highway
department.
That
is
no
longer
in
need,
so
basically
we
we
we
accept
the
bids
the
highest
bidder
gets.
The
is
is
a
proof
to
get
the
piece
of
equipment
or
whatever
they
bid
on
and
anything
that
doesn't
sell.
We
we
just
we
salvage
it
some
way
and
get
rid
of
it.
So
all
right.
C
The
first
bidder
I
have
is
the
city
of
kankakee.
C
C
They're
bidding
on
item
number
one.
Eighteen
thousand
one.
Oh
four.
Ninety
two!
Eighteen
thousand
one.
Oh
four.
Ninety
two
item
number,
two:
the
salt
spreader
is
three
hundred
and
seventy
two
dollars
and
seventy
two
cents
number
three:
the
reversible
plow,
eight
hundred
fifty
five
dollars
and
seventy
cents
and
item
number
four:
the
pull
broom
501.63
cents.
C
Item
number
six:
the
the
blower
for
ten
dollars.
C
And
last
is
jim
miedema,
m-I-e
d-e-m-a.
C
It
appears
he
wrote
on
here
under
17
to
use
street
sweeper
spools,
which
I
don't
know
that
we
have
but
I'll
write
it
down.
C
Okay,
so
it
appears
city
of
kankakee.
Is
the
high
bidder
for
the
truck
item
number
one
they're,
the
high
bidder
for
number
two
and
three:
the
pull
broom
yellowhead
township.
C
Item
number
six
greg
devine.
He
also
got
number
12
and
13
and
I'll
check
on
number
17.
D
A
E
Hunter.
Thank
you,
mr
chairman,
mr
rogers.
Let
me
be
very
clear
in
terms
of
your
procedures
now
this
is
this
equipment
was
approved
for
surplus
and
you
had
a
bid
and
which
you
publicly
opened,
and
I
guess
we'll
accept
those
the
highest
and
most
responsible
bids.
Now
the
balance
of
the
equipment
which
you
have
not
received
bids
on,
do
you
have
the
discretion
of
selling
that
to
another
governmental
unit?
Well,
I
said
they're.
C
C
E
What
I'm
saying
is
that,
because
yeah
we're
gonna
dispose
of
it,
okay,
one
way
or
the
other
yeah.
What
I'm
saying
is
I
remember
when
I
was
an
alderman
we
gave.
I
presented
pembrook
township
with
one
of
those
fire
trucks
and
don't
tell
me
what
kind
of
weather
I
don't
remember.
It's
been
a
long
time
ago,
yeah
pembroke
days,
so
you
can.
You
can
bequeath
this
to
other
individuals
or
or.
F
F
C
All
right,
I
have
a
few
bills
to
pay
this
morning.
First,
is
for
our
kankakee
county
general
maintenance
supplement
one.
This
is
pale
and
this
flint.
This
is
for
traffic
paint,
and
that
is
the
the
rest
of
the
traffic
paint
that
we
ordered,
and
that
amount
is
thirty,
eight
thousand
four
hundred
seventeen
dollars
and
forty
cents.
C
This
is
for
our
county
general
maintenance
for
2021.
This
is
payable
to
gallagher
materials
corporation.
This
is
for
hot
mix
picked
up
at
the
plant
with
our
trucks,
and
that
amount
is
251
dollars
and
16
cents.
C
Next
is
for
our
county
general
maintenance
for
2021.
This
is
payable
to
vulcan
construction
materials.
This
is
for
road
mix
and
chips
that
we've
been
spreading
on
these
hot
oil
and
chip
roads,
and
that
amount
is
nine
hundred
dollars
and
twenty
five
cents
next
is
junior
township
for
their
2021
general
maintenance.
This
is
payable
to
grassroots
construction
company.
This
is
for
oil
and
ship
work,
that's
been
completed
in
the
township,
and
that
amount
is
one
hundred
sixty
one
thousand
six
hundred
five
six
hundred
fifty
one
dollars
and
zero
cents.
C
Next
is
mantino
township,
further
2021
general
maintenance.
This
is
payable
to
grassroots
construction
company.
This
is
for
oil
and
ship
work,
that's
been
done
in
the
township,
and
that
amount
is
seventy.
Six
thousand
eight
hundred
seventy
four
dollars
and
forty
eight
cents
next
is
for
momentum
township
for
their
2021
general
maintenance.
This
is
payable
to
grosso
construction
for
oil
and
ship
work
that
was
done
in
the
township,
and
that
amount
is
thirty.
One
thousand
seven
hundred
fifty
three
dollars
and
twenty
eight
cents
next
is
sunder
township
road
district
for
their
2021
general
maintenance.
C
C
Next
is
for
pembroke
township
for
their
2021
general
maintenance
supplement
one.
This
is
payable
to
the
pembroke
township
road
district
treasurer.
This
is
for
equipment,
rental,
and
that
amount
is
nine
thousand
four
hundred
ninety
three
dollars
and
fourteen
cents,
and
just
for
the
the
new
members
here,
equipment
rental
is
the
township
can
charge
towards
their
mft
hours
of
use
for
their
equipment.
C
Next
is
for
our
kanke
county
general
maintenance
non-mft.
This
is
payable
to
gallagher
asphalt.
This
is
for
the
overlay
that
was
done
on
warner,
bridge
road
and
that
amount
is
92
497.97.
C
C
Maybe
I'll
start
putting
page
one
of
two
on
this
one.
So
we
don't
have
that
confusion
all
right
and
the
last
one
I
have
is
bourbon
a
township
section,
17-02-124-0.
C
This
is
for
payable
to
engineering
resource
associates.
This
is
for
bridge
design
for
a
bridge
on
3100
north
in
bourbon,
a
township,
and
that
amount
is
7
335.00.
A
Okay,
I
need
a
motion
to
to
pay
for
the
county.
The
county
engineer
pay
estimates
here.
Mr
bryant,
you
got
motion
second
bye.
We
have
a
question
sure
six
go
ahead.
C
D
D
C
A
A
A
G
Sorry,
mark
jeremy,
something
just
popped
into
my
head.
When
you
were
talking
about
that
rental.
Somebody
had
a
question
from
out
on
that
side
of
the
county,
about
mft
used
to
purchase
equipment,
a
backhoe,
and
they
might
have
spoken
to
you
in
the
past.
It
came
through
dr
polk
actually
talked
to
me
about
it.
Okay,
yeah
is
the
re.
G
C
G
E
Mr
hunter
paint
have
you
received
your
back
orders
of
paint?
Yes,.
C
We
did
we
finally
got
the
last
orders
of
it
about
three
weeks
ago.
Yes,
okay,.
E
And
I
want
to
talk
to
you
about
that
little
project
I
I
mentioned
because
I
couldn't
get.
I
was
you
know.
Historically,
I've
done
like
summer
jobs
for
kids
doing
addresses
on
curbs
and
stuff.
I
used
to
get
it
from
valspar
couldn't
get
it,
and
if
you
got
any
stuff
we
could
use
that
you
may
not
use.
We
can
hire
some
kids
to
do
curb,
painting
for
addresses
and
stuff,
but
I'll
talk
to
you
about
it.
Okay,
thank
you.
C
The
job
position
posting
went
out,
so
the
county
board
is,
is
looking
for
my
replacement,
but
I'll
be
here
for
a
few
more
months
so
in
that
transition.
So,
but
I
just
wanted
to
let
this
committee
know,
I
mean
it's
been
a
privilege
working
with
everybody,
and
I
and
I
hope
that
continues
so.
H
G
I'm
not
gonna,
mr
chairman,
I'm
sorry!
Yes,
I'm
not
gonna
gush
we'll
do
that
later
and
embarrass
mark,
but
the
the
the
qualifications
for
your
replacement.
Someone
may
be
watching
this
and
say
I
think
I
could
do
that.
What
are
the
legal.
C
The
the
qualifications
are
are
spelled
out
in
the
statutes,
and
the
person
needs
to
be
a
graduate
with
a
bachelor
of
science
in
civil
engineering
has
to
possess
a
the
engineering
professional
engineering
license.
C
I
That's
what
I
was
going
to
tell
you
guys:
oh
god,
I'm
not
quite
there,
yet
I
don't
think.
Unfortunately,
unfortunately,
what
are
you
saying
all
right
good
morning
good
morning,
all
right.
So,
let's
see
here
start
with
the
facility
dude
report.
For
last
month,
pretty
basic
month
we
had
151
work
orders
in
the
system.
I
So
you
can
see
everybody
got
it
this
year,
we're
at
732
456
compared
to
711
467
last
year.
So
overall,
pretty
happy
with
where
we
stand
financially,
you
can
see
an
overage
in
the
custodian
line
item
which
that's
been
pretty
consistent
all
year
and
then
52
100,
which
is
building
maintenance
and
improvements
we're
considerably
over
there.
I
But
you
know
I'll
call
out.
You
know
miscellaneous
services,
which
is
repairs
by
our
subcontractors
56400
we're
under
where
we
were
at
this
point
last
year
and
that's
an
expense,
that's
obviously
hard
to
control
miscellaneous
supplies,
56
850
we're
about
half
of
where
we
were
last
year,
so
overall,
pretty
happy
with
where
we're
at
on
the
year-to-date
numbers
when
we
compare
same
time
last
year,
so
I
want
to
including
in
that
financial
report.
I
want
to
talk
to
you
a
little
bit.
I
We've
been
talking
basically
every
month
about
my
expenses
and
a
lot
of
the
projects
that
have
come
up
over
the
last
couple
months,
and
I
want
to
kind
of
give
you
a
snapshot
between
the
coil
at
public
safety,
which
we've
talked
about
some
work
in
the
kitchen.
That's
got
to
be
done
with
cooling,
cabinets
and
warming
ovens.
I
You
know
that
that
there,
what
I've
just
outlined,
is
roughly
125
000
in
expenses
that
you
know
that
are
that
are
going
to
be
coming.
That's
all!
I
don't
think
none
of
that
has
been
paid.
I
Yet,
in
addition
to
that,
I
invite
all
of
you,
when
you
walk
out
of
the
building
here
today,
to
take
a
look
at
the
generator
outside
there's
a
muffler
on
top
of
it
that's
badly
corroded
and
rusting,
and
when
it
runs
it
flakes
off
and
falls
onto
the
concrete
the
radiator
is
leaking
has
been
for
years
started
it
stopped
for
a
while.
It
started
leaking
again
a
couple
weeks
ago,
so
we
had
cummins
out
the
courthouse.
I
We've
got
brick
walls
that
are
leaking
up
around
the
upper
roof
areas
that
are
going
to
need
to
be
addressed,
and
possibly
tuck
pointed
so.
I
I've
talked
a
lot
about
my
expenses
and
the
projects
and
the
various
repairs
that
have
been
needed,
but
I
thought
it
was
it'd,
be
prudent
to
you
know.
Actually
you
know,
including
in
the
financial
report.
You
know
this
financial
report
as
to
the
projects
that
are
upcoming,
that
you're
going
to
see
in
that
financial
report,
quite
possibly
over
the
course
of
the
next
couple
months.
I
Thank
you
all
right,
so
moving
on
annex
improvements
is
the
next
item
on
your
on
your
agenda
there,
and
I
asked
mr
latham
to
come
to
the
meeting
here
today.
So
I've
been
in
discussion
with
tom
regarding
two
things
in
the
annex.
I
One
is
improving
the
way
that
drug
testing
is
performed
in
his
building
and
then
the
other
is
a
reconfiguration,
a
minor
reconfiguration
of
his
office
by
adding
a
door
into
one
of
the
office
areas.
So
if
it's
all
right
with
you,
mr
chairman,
I'd
like
to
have
mr
latham
kind
of
give
us
a
rundown
of
the
project.
Sure
that's
okay,.
J
Yeah
we
discussed
at
criminal
justice
yesterday
mike
am
I
on
yeah,
okay
at
criminal
justice
we
discussed
yesterday,
we've
been
bringing
more
counselors
into
our
building
to
provide
services
because
of
cobit
they're
not
doing
face
to
face
in
their
own
agencies.
J
As
a
result
of
that
increasing
and
conversation
with
chairman
wheeler
there's
concerns
with
the
liability
and
safety
issues
in
the
annex
which
he
asked
that
ipmg
do
a
walk
through
put
together
a
report
and
assess
that
which
they
did
part
of
that
report
was.
There
was
an
issue
with
us
doing:
drug
testing
in
a
public
bathroom
used
by
adults
on
juveniles,
so
juveniles
will
be
collecting
urine
samples
and
anybody
from
the
public
adult
anything
can
just
walk
right
in.
J
That
was
an
issue
also
related
to
that
was
there
was
no
barrier
between
the
officer
collecting
the
sample
or
watching
or
observing
the
sample
being
collected
and
the
defendant
or
juvenile,
so
this
door
that
we're
discussing
here
being
put
in
a
private
bathroom
in
another
area
of
our
building.
It's
a
glass
door
with
a
slot,
so
the
test
can
be
observed,
collected
away
from
the
public.
J
Anybody
from
the
public
coming
in
any
adults
coming
in
and
obviously
it's
a
little
safer
for
the
officer
if
the
cup
was
dropped
and
splashed
splattered
or
they
threw
it
on
the
probation
officer.
So
this
is
kind
of
two
helps
two
different
areas
here.
J
The
second
door
was
in
a
conference
room
again
because
we
had
to
bring
counselors
into
our
building,
there's
a
conference
room
and
if
you
saw
the
layout
of
our
building,
you
would
understand
this
if
they
go
into
the
conference
room
to
do
that,
we
had
to
station
somebody
out
and
around
by
the
door
to
monitor
some
of
these
people
are
doing
psychosexuals
and
different
things,
and
they
get
angry
in
there
with
the
questioning,
and
so
we
had
to
have
an
employee
sit
out
there
for
several
hours.
J
A
J
What
we
did
with
that,
a
lot
of
that
is,
we've
contracted
out
for
most
of
the
adults.
We
still
have
to
do
some
testing
on
adults
at
times,
but
all
the
juveniles
done
in-house
all
the
testing's
gathered
in-house,
so
in
that
restroom
and
yeah,
three
or
four
people
could
walk
in
and
that
restaurant
they're
collecting
the
test.
So
this
will
really
help
that
situation.
A
lot
okay.
A
So,
mr
andrews,
what
exactly
do
you
need
from
this
committee.
I
I
just
we
just
wanted
to
make
the
committee
aware
of
the
price
for
the
project.
It's
eight
hundred
and
two
dollars
that's
to
cut
in
the
the
new
doorway
into
this
office
area
to
reframe
it
add
the
header
solid,
core
wood
door,
wood
casing,
hinges
the
door,
lock,
etc,
and
then
on
the
for
the
drug
testing.
That
would
be
a
new
window
cut
into
the
existing
doorway
and
then
they're
gonna
fabricate
a
custom
pass-through
underneath
the
the
window
to
take
the
sample.
I
So
it's
going
to
have
to
be
custom.
It's
it's
there's,
really
nothing
off
the
shelf
that
can
be
bought
for
that.
So
it's
just.
We
wanted
to
bring
it
to
the
committee
to
let
everyone
know
the
price
for
the
project
why
the
project
is
important
and
I
guess
basically,
I
think
we're
just
looking
for
a
head
nod
in
in
a
general
agreement.
I
G
Initially,
the
thought
was
half
of
it
for
risk
management
to
tort
fund,
because
that's
the
the
the
directive
of
the
health
insurance
company
who's.
Our
liability
excuse
me
not
health,
but
liability,
insurance
and
then
the
other
half
from
from
the
arpa,
because
of
distancing
and
not
coming
into
contact
with
people
for
that
sampling
procedure.
So
if
it
passes
muster
in
our
quarterly
report,
it'll
be
half
and
half
that's
what
we're
thinking!
G
A
A
E
Mr
hunter,
tell
me
from
mr
chairman,
was
if
I'm
offline
on
this,
I
was
just
thinking
outside
the
box,
thinking
about
the
students
and
in
the
building
trades
at
kcc
the
program
that
john
willard
works
with.
Had
you
ever
thought
about,
maybe
contacting
them
not
necessarily
just
this
project
but
future
projects
in
terms
of
them
gaining
some
training
expertise
without
eroding
the
bargaining
unit
to
ask
them
if
they
could
do
some
of
this
work
to
enhance
their
abilities
in
in
the
real
world.
So.
I
Yeah
I
mean
I'm
certainly
not
opposed
to
it.
I
don't
know
what
impact
or
what
issue
that
might
create
with
the
bargaining
unit,
or
you
know
the
local
unions,
or
you
know
prevailing
wage,
and
things
like
that.
I
mean
I'd,
have
to
look
into
that
and
see
what
we
could
do.
I
mean
I'm
not
opposed
to
it.
If
we're
you
know
able
to
yeah
yeah.
E
I'm
not
mandating
I'm
just
saying
just
trying
to
think
outside
the
box
here.
You
know
it's
not
a
real
real
big
project,
I'm
sure
it's
probably
manageable
in
terms
of
the
scope
and
cutting
and
this
and
that
and
so
forth.
You
know
it'd
be
something
for
you
to
consider.
Yeah.
A
I
It
sounds
like
a
portion
of
it
will
be
paid
through
the
tort
fund
and
then
the
portion
would
go
to
the
general
fund
or
arpa.
If
that's,
if
we
decide
that's
okay,
so.
I
Thanks
tom,
all
right
so
moving
on
to
a
building
report
here
at
189.
Obviously
the
first
item
on
my
list
is
the
elevator
got
an
update
here
from
kone
elevator
yesterday,
where
they're
progressing
as
expected,
the
majority
of
the
equipment
in
the
machine
room
is
set
for
the
west
elevator,
so
they
got
the
new
controller
up
there.
The
motor,
the
transformer,
the
new,
the
new
control
cabinets
have
been
installed.
They're
working
in
the
hoist
way
with
the
wiring
most
of
the
door.
I
Work
has
been
done
so
in
a
nutshell,
things
are
progressing
as
planned,
they're
about
four
weeks
into
the
project.
It's
about
it's
going
to
be
anywhere
from
six
and
a
half
to
eight
weeks
per
elevator,
so
they're
they're
moving
they're
right
on
schedule.
So
the
next
portion
of
the
project
is
the
work
by
others
that
we
bid
and
was
awarded
to
psi.
I
So
they're
gonna
need
to
come
in
and
do
some
work
with
the
fire
alarm,
some
of
the
electrical
work's
going
to
need
to
be
done,
but
overall,
a
pretty
positive
update
on
the
elevator
it's
progressing
as
as
planned.
So
the
generator
which
I
talked
about
a
little
bit
in
my
initial
financial
report,
we're
going
to
have
to
put
some
money
into
that,
like
I
said
the
muffler
is,
is
rusting
and
corroding
and
then
the
the
radiator
as
well.
I
So
I'm
going
to
be
getting
some
quotes
on
that
that's
critical
infrastructure,
something
that
you
know
is
important
to
this
facility
and
that
we
need
to
make
sure
is
in
good
mechanical
condition.
Our
pm
is
scheduled
for
the
first
week
of
october,
so
when
that
gentleman
comes
out
to
perform
the
preventative
maintenance
on
it,
I'm
going
to
talk
to
him
a
little
bit
more
about
the
radiator
and
the
muffler
on
top
of
the
unit,
so
hopefully,
by
next
month,
I
should
have
something
to
go
over
with
you
there.
I
The
painting
is
complete,
looks
great.
Hopefully,
you've
noticed
that
we
got
another
bad
compressor,
which
I
discussed
in
the
financial
report
on
one
of
the
rooftop
units.
That's
pretty
typical,
I
think
every
every
year
we
have
a
couple
that
need
to
be
replaced
and
then
the
we're
adding
panic,
alarms
in
the
vac
per
the
request
of
karen
smitansky.
I
That's
going
to
be
getting
done,
hopefully
here
in
the
next
couple
weeks.
So
that's
a
report
here
at
189.
Any
questions
on
that.
I
All
right,
moving
on
to
the
courthouse
we've
been
going
through
concrete
repair
and
replacement
over
there
happy
to
report
that
that's
been
completed.
A
lot
of
the
imperfections
in
the
concrete
and
not
all
not
a
lot.
All
of
them
have
been
addressed
either
replaced
or
grinded.
I
The
yard
is
pretty
tore
up
from
the
equipment
that
was
placed
on
us,
so
we
plan
to
seed.
This
fall
grant
update
on
the
courthouse.
I
talked
to
ben
wilson.
Yesterday,
they're
still
reviewing
it,
I
haven't
heard
anything
more
andy,
mr,
I
don't
know
if
you've
heard
anything
more,
so
they're
still
reviewing
reviewing
our
grant.
So
that's,
basically,
where
we're
at
there.
The
the
the
floor
plan
is
basically
complete
and
agreed
upon.
I
So
you
know
that
the
next
step
is
getting
with
the
state
of
illinois
to
hopefully
get
some
sort
of
an
approval
there,
annex
in
old
jail.
I
Let's
see
here
roof
damage,
so
we
had
some
storms
come
through
last
week.
I'm
trying
to
remember.
I
think
it
was
tuesday
the
roof
at
the
old
jail,
the
southwest
corner
of
the
main
roof
up
top.
I
Some
flashing
got
torn
off
the
roof,
actually
bubbled
up,
and
we
had
vendor
out
a
few
days
ago
to
patch
it
make
the
temporary
repairs
as
well
as
get
some
weight
on
the
roof
to
hold
it
down.
I
I
met
the
insurance
adjuster
out
there
today
at
7am
to
look
it
over
and
there's
don't
appear
to
be
any
issues
he's
going
to
recommend
to
our
carrier
to
go
ahead
and
let
us
get
started
on
the
repairs,
so
should
be
pretty
straightforward,
but
it
looks
like
we're
looking
at
600
bucks
in
temporary
repairs
and
25
000
to
to
fix
the
damage
from
the
storm
that
rolled
through
so.
I
Hvac
system
in
the
nurse's
station
cctv
we
talked
about
that
jcdc.
Moving
out
to
the
morgue
in
public
safety,
the
coil
for
the
sheriff's
administration
should
be
in
any
day
the
ups
their
new
ups
system
was
delivered
yesterday.
So
now
I'm
coordinating
with
our
electrical
contractor
on
that.
To
get
that
hooked
up
and
operational
bob
gessner
has
asked
me.
The
more
garage
is
rusting
pretty
badly
it's
right
next
to
the
wash
bay
out
there
at
the
public
safety
building.
So
you
get
a
lot
of
water.
I
So
he's
got
some
considerable
rust
in
his
garage,
which
I'm
going
to
be
trying
to
figure
out
some
sort
of
a
solution
to
that
generator
work
out
there
we're
going
to
be
needing
as
well.
There's
a
radiator
issue
out
there
as
well
we're
going
to
have
to
look
into
cooling,
cabinet
warming,
ovens,
the
doors
are
shot.
That's
something
else!
That's
on
my
list
here
that
we're
going
to
have
to
address
in
the
kitchen
we
repaired
a
roof
leak
out
there
as
well
over
the
course
of
the
last
couple
weeks.
I
We
have
an
outlet
issue
in
one
of
our
pods
out
there
after
the
storm.
We
had
a
bank
of
electrical
outlets
that
weren't
working
and
I
had
my
staff
replace
some
outlets.
They
thought
they'd
fixed,
it
long
story
short,
they
couldn't
figure
it
out,
so
we
called
an
electrician
and
they
believe
that
we
took
a
lightning
strike
out
there,
which
took
out
some
of
our
electrical
outlets
in
one
of
the
pods.
I
So
that's
something
that
once
I
get
some
numbers
on,
that
I'll
get
with
the
chairman
and
anita
to
figure
out
what
direction
we're
headed
there
as
well
other
than
that,
I'm
I'm
short-handed.
I've
got
staff
got
some
staff
at
home
for
medical
reasons.
I
had
a
retirement,
so
I
we're
short
staff
so
we're
trying
to
keep
up
the
best
we
can
oftentimes
having
people
go
from
one
building.
I
A
Have
you
posted
the
dog
openings.
I
Yeah
I
posted
the
job
opening
and
I
was
I
was
looking
for
a
qualified
mechanic
to
replace
the
gentleman
that
retired
the
gentleman
that
retired
did
a
lot
of
work
on
our
boiler
systems.
He
was
very
familiar
with
them.
He'd
been
here
about
20
years
and
trying
to
find
somebody
with
those
qualifications
with
the
at
the
current
wage.
That
we're
offering,
I
think,
is,
I
think,
is
going
to
be
tough,
so
I
wasn't
able
to
have
any
applicants
that
would
be
able
to
fill
that
position
so.
A
Just
for
any
anyone
watching
this
anybody
interested
with
how
they
can.
I
I'm
gonna
do
another
job
posting
I
I
just
gotta
create
the
time
to
do
it.
Hopefully,
first
part
of
next
week,
I'll
put
another
job
posting
out
there
and
see
see
if
we
can
find
anybody,
so
so
keep
an
eye
on
our
our
facebook
page.
Obviously,
the
job
openings
are
posted
there
as
well
as
online.
H
Federlin,
how
far
off
are
we
on
the
dollar
amounts
that
you
think
that
have
to
be
paid
to
get
a
qualified
person?
Because
those
older
equipment
you're
going
to
have
to
hire
an
older
guy
is
going
to
want
more
money
than
a
younger
guy
is
going
to
work.
I
It's
really
hard
to
say
to
be
honest
with
you.
I
just
know
that
the
the
what
I
put
out
there
and
posted
I
received
zero
applicants
with
any
type
of
skill
set.
That
would
you
know
most.
The
applicants
would
have
been
just
basic
custodian
type
employees
which
that's
not
what
we
need
right
now.
Okay,.
I
Well,
I
I'd
have
to
do
a
little
research
to
be
completely
honest,
but
then
we're
we
have
the
contract
as
well
with
the
with
the
local
you
with
the
union.
So
I
mean
the
numbers
that
we
pay
are
the
numbers
that
we
pay.
So
I
mean
I
really
don't
know.
I
could
look
into
that
john.
To
be
honest
with
you,
I
wouldn't
even
know
I
mean
I
could
throw
a
number
out
there,
but
you
know
I
just
know
with
what
we're
what
I'm
currently
offering.
We
receive
zero
applicants.
Okay,
so
thank
you,
mr.
E
Yeah
more
of
a
comment,
well
something
let
me
say
this
to
you
that
you
know
no
matter
how
dismal
at
times
you
know
the
information
you
provide
to
us
but
its
specificity,
so
we're
not
surprised
by
virtue
of
what
you've
articulated
and
I
just
want
to
thank
you.
You
know
for
your
report
enumerating.
I
I
try
to
keep
the
surprises
to
a
minimum,
so
thank.
