From YouTube: Legislative Ethics Commission (2/14/22)
Description
No description was provided for this meeting.
If this is YOUR meeting, an easy way to fix this is to add a description to your video, wherever mtngs.io found it (probably YouTube).
A
Well
see
my
hus,
my
husband
just
went
to
see
snoop
dogg
and
at
al,
and
I
mean
so
we're
all
we
love
it.
We
loved
it
anyway
also
scaring
the
animals
by
dancing.
But,
oh,
I
better
be
quiet.
B
We'll
clean
up
our
act
here,
yep,
it
appears
as
though
we
have
a
sufficient
quorum
or
a
meeting.
B
I'm
going
to
call
this
meeting
to
order
the
legislative
ethics
commission
on
february
14th
valentine's
day,
happy
valentine's
day,
doctor
one
and
so
danita
you'll
be
my
first
valentine.
Will
you
call
me
a
row.
C
All
right,
tanya
pulling
coming
to
you,
thank
you
here
and
coming
to
you
from
greenup
county,
okay
and
catherine
russell.
Yes,
I'm
here
in
my
office
in
downtown
louisville,
kentucky
okay
and
arnold
simpson,
I'm
here
in
my
home
in
covington,
kentucky
and
anthony
welcome,
I'm
here
in
our
offices
in
frankfurt.
B
Okay,
having
the
quorum
we'll
first
take
up
the
approval
of
the
minutes
from
the
january
5th
2022
meeting.
I
trust
you
all
receive
those
in
your
books
and
have
read
them
carefully.
B
B
Second,
by
judge
milhoy?
Are
there
any
insertions
conclusion
corrections?
I'm
gonna
not
a
minute
any
corrections.
B
A
On
okay,
it's
great
to
see
you
all
on
valentine's
day
and
the
day
after
the
bengals.
Oh
well,
I'm
not
going
to
talk
about
that
to
bring
you
up
to
date,
as
as
I
always
try
to
do
on
staff
we've
again,
we've
been
going
back
into
the
office.
You
know,
while
taking
necessary
precautions,
the
number
the
coba
numbers
are
going
down,
which
is
which
is
great.
So
we,
you
know,
we've
we've
been
in
the
office
recording.
C
A
And
you
know
so
so
that's
so
that's
good,
but
we're
still,
we
still
have
the
ability
to
work
from
home
as
needed,
which,
which
again
is
is
a
wonderful
thing
to
be
able
to
do
so.
That
gives
us
a
little
flexibility
on
that.
So
that's!
So
that's
wonderful,
lori
and
danita
survived
the
two-year
re-registration
process.
A
As
I
talked
about
last
time,
you
know
every
two
years
all
employers
have
to
re-register
at
the
end
of
the
two-year
cycle
and
you
know
get
all
their
paperwork
in
pay
the
250.
A
and
that's
for
over
700
employers.
So,
as
you
can
imagine,
it
takes
a
lot
of
time
and
effort
and
I
can't
say
enough
about
how
hard
they've
worked
on
that
process,
and
so
so
that's
that's
done.
They
also
went
through
a
reporting
period
and
then
tomorrow
is
the
deadline
for
the
january
reporting
period.
So
again,
that's
that's
a
that's
a
whole
lot
of
work
to
get
all
of
those
all
those
reports
in
and
they've
been
working
really
hard
to
process.
A
You
know
again
all
those
reports,
plus
also
as
people
register
as
they
you
know,
come
in
and
want
to
lobby
the
general
assembly
so
that
they
really
work
hard
on
that
and
again
I
you
know
can't
say
enough
about.
You
know
just
the
volume
of
paper
that
in
the
the
organization
that
they.
A
And
that's
great
also
emily
dennis
has
been
working
on
the
financial
disclosures
for
all
all
137
legislators.
Now,
there's
one
one
vacancy
and
I
believe
it's
about
59
candidates
have
to
do
their
financial
disclosures,
also
very
time-consuming
effort
to
get
get
all
those
but
they're
very
important,
and
then
you
know
in
terms
of
disclosure,
so
emily's
been
working
on
stop
on
that.
You
know,
along
with
her
her
other
other
duties
and
again
the
the
the
deadline
on
that
is
also
tomorrow.
A
Although
there's
a
there
is
a
10-day
grace
period,
but
anyway
we're
she's
still
working
on
getting
getting
those
in
once
those
get
in
and-
and
she
goes
over
those
with
a
fine-tooth
comb.
You
know
making
sure
that
they've
filled
them
out
correctly,
helping
helping
folks
if
they
have
questions
about
what
they
need
to
disclose
or
not.
A
You
know
again
making
you
know,
making
sure
that
that
folks
understand
what
they
have
to
do
and
then
we
will
put
those
on
on
our
website
once
once
we
get
all
of
them
and
and
again
that's
that
is
helpful
in
in
terms
of
you
know:
sunshine,
disclosure
and,
of
course,
with
issues
that
might
come
up
about
conflicts
of
interest,
and
things
like
that.
A
So
you
know
if
you
ever,
if
you
get
a
chance
to
check
out
the
website
in
in
a
you
know
about
a
week
or
so
you'll
see
that
all
those
candidates
disclosures
at
will
and
and
the
new
ones
for
the
sitting,
legislators
will
pop
up
so
again
thanks
to
emily
and
lori
and
danita.
For
again
you
know
it's
it's
amazing.
I
mean
when
you
see
when
you
see
all
the
papers
that
they
have
to
do
now,
the
let
what
I
wanted
to
say
too.
A
The
legislators
do
have
a
way
to
do
it.
Do
their
disclosures
via
a
program
that
we
have
so
if,
if
they're
at
lrc,
so
that
is
helpful.
But
again,
these
ladies
are
so
efficient,
and
so
you
know
hard-working
they've
come
in
on
weekends
and
at
night,
just
making
sure
that
everybody
gets
their
questions
answered
and
and
then
it
gets
done
so
kudos
to
them.
I
think
that
the
next
oh,
are
there
any
questions
about
about
that?
A
Okay,
good.
The
next
thing
is,
is
the
budget
which
is
in
your
in
your
packet
tom
hampton
again
says
we're
in
great
financial
shape.
Our
our
budget
is
also
you
know,
for
the
next
two
years
is
is
in
the
legislative
budget,
which
is
making
its
way
through
the
process.
Last
time
I
checked
it
really
hadn't
moved,
but
of
course
the
big.
The
big
ticket
item
is
the
executive
branch
budget,
so
they
usually
just
kind
of
save
that
to
the
save
the
good
stuff.
A
For
the
end,
I
guess,
but
he's
not
made
me
aware
of
any
issues
or
hiccups
with
with
that.
So
are
there
any
questions
about
about
the
budget.
B
B
A
Okay
thanks,
we
also
also
in
your
packet.
We
had
answered
a
couple
more
questions
from
lrc
staff
on
this
internal
audit,
that
they're
that
they're
doing
to
kind
of
ready
the
agency
to
to
do
a
fuller
use
of
emars,
and
you
know
basically,
our
whole
response
is
in
there.
So
you
can
kind
of
tell
what
what
they're
looking
at
and
the
processes
they
haven't
come
back
yet
to
say
that
you
know
we're
doing
anything
that
we
shouldn't
be
doing,
which
it,
which
is
good.
A
But
of
course
we
always
you
know.
If
there
are
improvements
we
can
make
or
suggestions
for
for
how
how
to
handle
things.
Of
course,
we're
always
open
open
to
that,
but
I
think
I
think
it's
been
a
good
break.
It's
been
a
good
process
for
me.
Actually,
as
a
you
know,
kind
of
new
to
this
job
person
to
see
you
know
how
things
have
been
done
in
the
past
and
then
we've
also
recognized.
You
know
when
we've
pulled
this
stuff
together.
A
I
think
that
oh
okay,
well,
maybe
we
can
do
this
this
way
so
anyway.
So
that's
that's
in
there
as
well
in
terms
of
training.
I
also
wanted
to
you
know
just
update
you
on
that
emily
and
I
did
a
an
online
training
for
kentucky
youth
advocates,
which
was
really
really
good
and
actually
resulted
in
several
additional
questions
being
raised
about
you
know
who
needs
to
register
so
we've.
You
know,
start
kind
of
started
that
process.
A
And
also
we're
gonna
we're
going
to
be
doing
a
presentation
for
the
kentucky
association
of
governmental
accountants
in
april
for
their
for
their
april
meeting.
I
think
that's
right
at
the
end
of
the
of
the
session
so
and
that's
good.
So
again,
we
can
kind
of
you
know
continue
to
share
with
people.
A
You
know
the
the
provisions
of
the
code
and
and
things
like
that
and
that's
also
via
zoom,
by
the
way,
I
think,
next,
in
your
packet,
we've
included
emily,
put
together
information
about
the
legislative
session,
including
the
the
calendar
and
there's
a
chart
with
bills
that
may
may
affect
ethics
in
general,
or
you
know
things
like
like
that
campaign,
finance
and
and,
of
course,
we're
watching
those
you
know
just
to
make
sure
that
there's
nothing
that
might
affect
the
legislative
branch
ethics
code,
I've
I've
been
talking
to
representative
moser
kind
of
sporadically
she's
been
really
covered
up,
as
you
can
imagine,
with
she's
the
chair
of
health
and
family
services
committee,
the
house
committee,
and
but
we
are
actually
late
friday.
A
We
were
going
back
and
forth
and
we're
going
to
plan
on
talking
sometime
this
week
now
that
she's
kind
of
gotten
a
breather
on
some
some
things
so
and
and
she
is
wanting
to
go
on
and
sponsor
our
bill
and
then
you
know
work
with
us
on
that,
so
that
so
that's
good
news,
also
representative
flood,
who,
who
had
kind
of
taken
the
point
on
you
know
this
bipartisan
idea.
A
Unfortunately,
she
has
some
family
concerns
and
obligations,
so
she's
not
able
to
devote
the
time
to
that
as
she
has
in
the
past,
which
you
know
is
totally
understandable.
But
hopefully
I
mean
like
the
last
time
we
did
the
bill.
It
was
a
bipartisan
effort
in
the
house,
so
I
don't
I
mean
I
don't
anticipate
that
being
any
any
different
so
anyway,
so
you
know
a
little
it's
it's
been
a
little
slower.
I
mean
it
is
mid-february,
but
I
think
I
think
we
can
you
know.
A
There's
still
plenty
of
time
is
what
I'm
trying
to
say,
not
very
articulately.
So
that's
good
and
again
emily
is
we're.
Keeping
up
with
with
other
bills
and
taking
questions.
You
know
bill
drafters,
have
called
emily,
for
example,
and
have
asked
you
know
our
perspective.
Of
course
we
don't
weigh
in
on
we
like
it
or
we
don't
like
it.
It's
just
well
here,
here's
what
the
effect
would
be.
So
I
think
I
think
that's
a
good.
That's
a
good
thing
that
they're
calling
and
it's
a
you
know
obviously
helpful
to
them.
A
I
think,
okay.
The
next
item
would
be
the
all
the
informal
opinions,
of
course
those
are
confidential
and
if
you've
got
particular
questions
of
course
happy
day
happy
to
answer
those,
but
we
need
to
do
those
in
executive
session
if
you
want
to.
If
we
want
to
get
into
the
specifics,
as
you
can
tell,
we've
had,
of
course,
you
know
they're
in
session,
so
we've
had
a
bunch
of
requests
for
informal
opinions.
Some
you
know
some
kind
of
run-of-the-mill
garden
variety
and
some
kind
of
unique
and
new.
A
So
owen
and
another
good
thing
for
from,
I
think
from
our
perspective
in
your
all's
perspective
too
many
of
them
focused
on
issues
that
were
raised
in
the
annual
current
issues,
training
that
that
the
law
provides
that
we
must
do
for
legislators
each
year
which
again
points
out
how
important
that
that
is
to
have
that
every
every
year
and
we
were
requested
to
do
some
reminders
to
folks,
including
legislators
on
particular
issues
and
and
again.
I
think
I
think,
that's
good.
A
I
think
it's
good
that
you
know
that
people
are
keeping
the
ethical
status
of
the
general
assembly
front
front
of
mind.
I
think,
in
terms
of
the
the
actual
session
itself,
I
think
they
really
enjoyed
hearing
hearing
from
john
schaaf
and
the
historical
perspective.
A
You
know
the
younger
members
that
come
in
they
don't
they
don't
remember
bob
trot,
I
mean
frankly,
some
of
them
may
not
have
even
been
born
during
that
period.
I
guess
which
is
kind
of,
or
at
least
not
you
know,
thinking
about,
certainly
not
thinking
about
that
or
politics
and
in
their
in
their
frame
of
reference.
So
I
think
that's
really
good.
Let's
see
so
that's
that's
basically,
all
I
needed
all
I
wanted
to
say
on
generally
on
the
on
the
informals.
A
I
do
have
a
couple
of
issues
that
we
do
need
to
discuss
in
executive
session.
If,
if
nobody
has
any
questions
just
generally
about
that
process,.
B
I
have
one
question:
laura
wheat
voted
our
annual
personnel
actions
about.
I
think
a
couple
of
months
ago,
well
now,
four
or
five
months
ago,
actually
are
those
going
into
effect.
Yet.
A
Yes,
one
one
of
them
did
and
then
we
were
going
to
send
a
memo
about
the
second
part
of
that
and
I.
A
A
And
and
yeah,
I
have
not
done
the
memo
on
that
yet,
but
danita
keeps
me
on
task
and
we're
gonna.
We
will
do
that,
so
it
goes
into
effect
in
march.
Yes,
sir,.
C
Clarify
something
that
I
didn't
understand
since
I'm
new
she'll
say
that
there
was
a
bill
that
was
in
process
and
it
caused
well,
it
could
be
inconsistent
or
just
it's
a
tremendous
fiscal
responsibility
on
the
commission.
Do
you
have
an
opportunity
to
say
anything
about
that
as
far
as
the
cost
and
expense
that
maybe
they
didn't
think
of
sure.
A
I
I
think
we
would
inform
you
all
obviously
to
let
you
all
know,
and
I
I
I
would
go
to
the
sponsor
and-
and
you
know
and
and
the
bill
drafter
most
likely
because
they're
very
helpful
with
communicating
that
with
with
sponsors
and
definitely
we
would
weigh
in
on
that.
You
know
to
make
sure
that
you
know.
C
A
A
You
know
what
I'm
saying,
so
you
wouldn't
just
go
ringing
the
bells
on
stuff
that
now
now
there
might
be
things
that,
yes,
you
know
if
they
said
well,
we're
gonna,
you
know
substantially
change
the
the
law
or
right
something
that
would
have
a
a
fiscal
impact
on
on
us.
Definitely
I
mean
I,
I
feel
comfortable
doing
that
and-
and
you
know
the
the
legislators
do
want
to
hear
that.
Sometimes
they
don't
know
that
there
will
be
a
consequence.
A
B
Having
director
gives
us
a
tremendous
advantage
about
the
legislature
because
she
was
in
lrc,
I
guess
her
whole
career
most
of
most
of
her
whole
career,
most
of
it
and
she's
she's,
still
very
connected
with
all
that.
She
knows
the
ins
and
outs
the
legislature.
B
You
know
so
we're
very,
very
well
covered
when
it
comes
to
that
just
because
she
has
all
that
knowledge,
and
she
knows
she's
always
been
good
to.
Let
me
know
if
something
happens
or
something's
going
on
and
if
it
moves,
we
shoot
it
pretty
quick
and
so
we're
very
fortunate
that
way.
So
it's
very
good
we're
well
cared
for.
I
can.
I
can
assure
you
that
any
other
questions
or
information
during
for
our
staff
report.
B
If
