President-
and
I
think
only
representative
stevenson
is
not
in
the
bill
on
the
campus,
so
she
will
not
be
allowed
to
vote
in
the
committee,
but
we
welcome
her
participation
and
questions.
If
she
chooses
to
ask
any,
please
remember:
silence
your
cell
phone
turn
on
your
microphones
when
you're
speaking
for
those
attending
via
teleconference.
A
Remember
the
mute
button.
We've
all
learned
how
important
that
is,
and
today
for
consideration
is
house
bill.
69
sponsored
by
representative
planton,
welcome.
D
Thank
you,
mr
chairman
members
of
the
committee
representative,
john
blanton,
I'm
from
the
92nd
district,
and
I
will
let
my
friends
from
the
fop
and
the
fire
association
introduce
themselves.
C
Ryan
straw,
vice
president
and
government
affairs
chair
for
the
state
fop
brian
o'neill
legislative
director
for
the
kentucky
professional
firefighters.
D
Thank
you,
gentlemen,
house
bill.
69
is
a
piece
of
legislation
that
representative
wheatley
and
myself
have
worked
on
since
the
special
session
that
extended
the
executive
orders
of
the
governor
that
was
inadvertently
left
out
of
some
legislation
and
what
it
deals
with
is
the
presumptive
exposures
on
not
only
first
responders
but
also
health
care
workers,
correction
officers,
military
personnel
and
there's
an
entire
list.
D
You
can
read
down
dealing
with
covid19,
presuming
that
if
they
did
obtain
come
down
or
contract
covid
that
it
would
be
presumed
in
the
performance
of
their
duties,
it
does
go
back
to
it's
retroactive
to
september
7th,
which
was
the
ending
deadline
of
the
executive
order
of
the
governor.
A
We
have
a
motion
in
a
second,
but
we
have
questions.
I
I
believe,
representative.
Graham,
did
you
have
a
question
very
good?
Thank
you.
Do
we
have
any
questions
for
this
esteemed
body.
A
Silent
group
we
have,
there
are
two
other
committees
going
on
right
now:
health
and
welfare
and
a
r,
so
I
think
we're
ready
to
leave.
So.
Madam
secretary,
please
have
a
vote.
Call
the
roll.
C
C
A
Yes,
and
we
have
passed
this
bill
indicated
it
shall
pass
and
same
on
the
floor
so,
gentlemen,
thank
you
so
much.
We
appreciate
your
service
and
bringing
this
bill
to
us
without
exception
we're
adjourned.
Thank
you,
mr
chairman.
Thank
you.
