From YouTube: koha-US July 2020 General Meeting
Description
No description was provided for this meeting.
If this is YOUR meeting, an easy way to fix this is to add a description to your video, wherever mtngs.io found it (probably YouTube).
A
So
we
might
have
to
jump
past
the
development
instance
and
go
back
to
it
later.
Depending
on
what's
going
on
okay
agenda,
we've
got
a
few
announcements.
This
week
we
have
a
webinar
coming
up
next
Thursday
that
Heather
is
doing
the
advanced
cataloging
enter
tips
and
tricks,
and
that's
Thursday
at
Thursday,
the
7th
or
16th
at
8:30
Pacific
11:30
Eastern.
A
We've
got
some
special
interest.
Group
groups
coming
up.
We've
got
the
web
dev
tomorrow
at
8:00
we
have
sysadmin
next
to
their
8:00
Pacific
11:00
Eastern.
This
is
admin
sig
next
Tuesday,
the
14th
at
9
Pacific
12
Eastern
acquisitions
is
the
Tuesday
after
that
on
the
21st
again
9
Pacific
12
Eastern.
We
have
catalog
in
the
first
there's
yeah
Thursday
at
8,
Pacific
11:00
Eastern.
B
This
is
that's
just
a
heads
up,
zoom
is
requiring
us
to
have
pass
codes
on
all
of
our
meetings,
starting
July
19th.
So
all
of
the
links
are
gonna
update.
So
if
you
have
those
bookmarks
watch
for
the
new
links,
otherwise,
if
you
get
here
from
the
calendar
or
the
website
or
the
agenda
will
have
the
right
link
in
those
places.
A
B
C
A
So
from
what
we
talked
about
at
the
meeting
with
people
who
are
from
McKinney,
it
sounds
like
they
were
hoping
to
do
it
there,
like
September
Oktoberfest
weekend
again,
but
they'll
have
to
talk
with
the
city
and
the
other
organizations
that
they
were
working
with
as
well.
So
we'll
have
more
information
on
that
later,
we'll
be
sending
out
a
reminder,
email
after
the
conference
meeting
today
and
we're
gonna
do
all
the
presentations
online.
A
So
we're
still
looking
for
presenters
and
the
presentation
link
will
be
included
in
that
email,
as
well
as
some
information
about
how
we're
gonna
do
it.
We
learned
a
lot
from
Kohath
on,
like
more
breaks
or
longer
breaks
in
between
instead
of
sandwich
and
everything
together
and
lots
of
things.
So
we
hope
it'll
be
a
good
online
conference
this
year
and
be
able
to
be
in
Texas
in
person
next
year.
C
A
Will
probably
talk
about
it
in
our
meeting
today,
but
I
think
we'll
probably
do
similar
to
how
we
did
the
Kohath
on
where
we'll
do,
presentations
in
zoom
and
stream
it
to
YouTube,
live,
or
some
combination
like
that
and
do
like
some
open
zoom
rooms.
Maybe,
for
you
know
discussion
times
when
we're
having
lots
of
people.
Things
like
that,
so
we'll
be
figuring
out
the
details,
we'll
probably
start
working
on
a
lot
of
them
today
and
our
meeting
and
some
of
them
will
take
more
time
as
we
figure
out
some
options.
A
A
A
Okay,
the
consortium
sig
is
on
the
calendar
for
August
24th
at
9:00
a.m.
Pacific
for
anyone
who's
interested
in
attending
that
one,
and
it
is
already
on
the
calendar
call
for
volunteers.
So
we
are
looking
for
volunteers
to
help
with
our
help
chair
or
demonstration
instance
or
co-chair.
Perhaps
I
know
at
least
one
person
that
said
they'd
be
interested
in
Co
chairing,
but
didn't
want
to
be
the
only
chair.
So
yes
Heather,
thank
you.
A
So
if
anyone
is
interested
in
Co
chairing
with
Heather
for
our
development
sig,
there
are
demonstration
interests
looking
at
their
own
place
on
the
agenda
demonstration
instance,
please
let
us
know
Oh
George
volunteers
to
try
to
break
the
demo.
Does
that
mean
you'll
co-chair
the
demo
committee
George
I
can.
E
Will
know
that
one
person
has
contacted
me
as
we,
the
outgoing
person
responsible
for
chairing
this.
This
new
special
interest
group
I
have
not
written
back
to
him
yet
he's
very
curious
as
to
what
entail
what
it
all
entails
and
he's
expecting
this
big
list
of
things
only
there
really
hasn't
been
anything
drawn
up
yet
because
it's
literally
that
new,
so
I
would
be
directly
in
touch
with
the
person
that
expressed
the
interest.
In
addition
to
Heather
sounds.
G
Yeah
I
really
know
pretty
much
nothing
about
the
demo
instances,
but
it's
it's
just
easy-peasy
to
keep
track
of
calling
the
meetings
make
sure.
There's
a
meeting
announcement.
Having
the
meeting
recording
the
meeting
you
know,
I
I
can
do
that
and
leave
other
people
to
run
and
break
the
demo
if
they
want.
E
There's
a
lot
to
run
here
because
Bywater
graciously
provided
us
with
an
instance.
That
literally
is
an
out-of-the-box
installation,
so
it
needs
configuration,
it
needs
setup.
It
literally
needs
everything,
and
so
that's
the
people
that
are
willing
to
get
involved
in
this
must
be
ready
to
face
a
pretty
large
organizational
commitment,
as
well
as
a
willingness
to
share
their
knowledge
on
several
different
modules.
E
As
the
system
gets
populated,
we
were
lucky
in
the
fact
that
we
hoped
to
have
something
this
year
for
ala
and
then
when
al
Lake
was
cancelled,
that
essentially
bought
us
a
little
bit
more
time
and
we've
used
the
demonstration
instance
to
show
certain
things
as
I
know.
George
I
think
was
the
first
person
that
use
the
demonstration
instance
soke.
Was
it
your
jquery
thing
George?
Is
that
what.
H
E
In
order
to
both
demonstrate
what
can
do
to
interested
parties
in
the
event
of
an
exhibition
space
like
like
ala
or
the
ability
of
us
as
a
group
to
be
able
to
use
it
for
purposes
like
what
George
set
up?
These
are
the
things
that
we're
hoping
to
be
able
to
entail
with
the
group
and
it's
something
that
I
just
really
never
had
a
chance
to
do,
and
now
probably
will
not
have
a
chance
to
do
as
I
move
over
to
my
new
job.
F
F
H
A
We're
also
still
looking
for
volunteers
to
help
with
social
media
Megan
are
one
of
our
members
at
large
is
interested
in
helping
with
that.
But
we
wanted
a
couple
of
volunteers
to
help
keep
our
like
Facebook
and
Twitter
up
to
date.
We
don't
really
use
the
Twitter
very
much
if
it
didn't
even
have
like
a
profile
picture
until
right
before
Kohath
on
and
but
we
haven't
really
used
it
much
since
Kohath
on.
We
just
used
it
a
little
bit
like
that
day,
pretty
much,
and
so,
if
you're
interested
in
helping
out
with
the
social
media.
A
A
Committee
reports
conference
committee,
we
already
covered
pretty
much
everything
since
last
meeting.
We
will
be
meeting
directly
after
this
meeting
in
the
same
room
to
talk
about
like
our
plans
going
forward,
and
there
should
be
at
least
one
email
going
out
today
about
well
one
email
today,
maybe
other
emails
about
more
things,
depending
on
how
the
meeting
goes
with
the
announcement
that
we
won't
be
meeting
in
person
this
year
and
the
reminder
for
the
presentation
links
any
questions
for
the
conference
committee.
A
F
F
J
F
H
F
E
K
So
we
Friday,
we
have
our
two
proposals
that
we're
going
to
submit.
If
one
of
them
we
can
afford
and
the
other
one,
we
will
need
support
from
other
libraries.
So
we
may
need
to
talk
with
the
fundraising
committee
again
if
that
one
gets
fruit,
but
we
should
the
boat
should
be
coming
out,
maybe
next
week
to
vote
on
the
development
that
we
want
to
sponsor
us.
L
L
As
was
that
mentioned,
we
have
a
webinar
coming
up
on
July
16th,
with
Heather
for
advanced
cataloging,
we'll
have
a
sandbox
webinar
coming
up
sometime
in
August,
we're
just
confirming
the
date
and
time
for
that
one.
This
will
be
like
a
more
advanced
presentation
with
Pyle
and
Nick,
where
they
go
into
some
of
the
nitty-gritty
for
using
the
sandbox.
L
We're
gonna
be
selecting
a
date
for
Lisette
to
come
on
to
our
weekly
videos
that
we
do
at
Bywater
called
Monday
minutes.
So
she
can
talk
about
the
user
groups
for
kohai
us
to
get
more
people
involved
in
the
special
interest
groups
too,
and
at
our
last
education
meeting
we
had
a
great
discussion
with
Heather
about
something
that
she
added
on
to
the
wiki
for
an
example
of
a
Marc
record.
So
new
cataloguers
would
have
a
good
place
to
start
where
they
can
create
a
record
and
I'll
put
that
link
in
the
chat
box.
L
A
A
I
E
If
you
will,
since
we're
not
having
an
in-person
conference,
a
lot
of
the
expenditures
that
we
would
have
associated
with
that
and
that
would
plan
to
come
out
of
conference
registration.
We
simply
will
not
have
this
year.
If
you're.
Looking
at
the
report,
you'll
notice
a
relatively
large
increase
in
our
PayPal
transfer
over
the
month
of
May.
E
We
are
now
in
the
second
half
of
the
year,
which
means
membership
is
now
only
1250
for
the
rest
of
the
year
membership
years
in
koha
our
calendar
year,
based
regardless
of
when
you
join
so
one
of
the
things
that's
in
our
bylaws,
is
that
the
second
half
of
the
year
is
half-price
and
all
of
the
necessary
changes
with
regard
to
that
have
been
made.
They
were
made
on
July
1st,
so
everything's
in
place.
E
Now,
though,
I
will
note
that,
again
without
person
conference
behalf,
your
memberships
may
not
play
the
role
that
they've
played
in
past
years.
We
continue
to
get
some
income
from
our
Threadless
comm
merchandise,
sales.
We
received
twenty
dollars
and
fifty
cents
of
that
in
June,
representing
may
activity
against
Threadless
and
we're
looking
good.
E
The
final
thing
to
note
is
that
the
$1200
that
we
paid
for
a
small
press
table
at
Ala
in
2020
has
been
forwarded
to
2021
it's
in
Chicago,
just
like
2020
wasn't
apparently
they're
going
to
lay
out
the
exhibit
hall
exactly
the
same,
so
the
table
that
we
were
assigned
in
2020
will
be
at
the
same
table.
We
will
have
in
2021.
Our
acceptance
of
the
forwarding
option
to
next
year's
conference
has
been
received
and
accepted,
so
we
are
all
set
along
those
lines.
A
A
259
400
is
probably
affecting
anyone
with
transfers
to
separate
print
dialogs
when
checking
in
slash
transferring
an
item
where
it
all
sometimes
print
if
it's
not
a
hold
it'll
print
like
a
little
extra
second
slip.
That
says,
like
no
slim
template
templates
found
and
it
might
only
be
happening
in
Chrome,
but
I
have
also
heard
some
people
having
problems
in
Firefox,
but
it's
been
less
consistent
and
that
one's
been
signed
off
so
hopefully
we'll
have
effects
on
that
soon.
For
anyone
affected
by
that
I
only.
H
H
A
G
G
A
M
I
think
that
the
reason
this
is
working
this
way
as
1911
was
supposed
to
fix.
There
was
an
issue
with
automatic
renewals.
As
soon
as
they
were
checked
out.
If
there
was
on
hold,
it
would
send
an
email
saying
this
item
is
on
hold,
it
cannot
be
renewed
to
the
patron,
and
so
they
got
that
as
soon
as
they
checked
the
I
paid
him
out,
and
so
this
was
I
think
the
goal
was
to
make
it.
A
A
A
H
A
H
There
was
a
bug:
I
wanted
to
bring
up
that
David
Cook
its
bug
number.
Let
me
put
it
in
the
chat
here:
two
five,
nine
three,
four
that
I
made
a
bunch
of
comments
on,
but
he
was
suggesting
that
there
should
be
a
change
to
Koha
that
requires
a
minimum
10
character,
password
that
can't
be
lowered
by
name
password
length,
and
then
he
had
a
bunch
of
other
suggestions
for
changing
passwords
that
really
took
away
a
lot
of
flexibility
from
libraries.
H
I
made
a
bunch
of
comments
on
it,
but
I
wanted
everybody
else
to
be
aware
of
it
in
case
in
case
anybody
else
had
anything
good.
The
only
really
a
lot
of
the
suggestions
were
for
global
changes
to
to
password
strength
that
took
away
a
lot
of
flexibility
them,
and
the
only
one
I
really
agree
with
is
the
password
should
not
be
the
you
should
allow
password
the
same
as
the
username,
but
I
wanted
everybody
to
be
aware
that
one.
H
Kate
was
jumped
in
and
said
you
know
this
has
been
discussed
before
and
it
seemed
like
a
bad
idea,
but
I
I
dressed
like
each
one
of
his
points.
Why
I
thought
it
was
a
bad
idea
so
and
he
and
he
commented
back
but
I
just
wanted.
If
anybody
else
wants
to
get
in
there
and
say
anything,
I
thought
that
would
be
a
good
one
to
to
bring
up
from
his
point
of
view
as
a
developer.
A
I
know
that,
like
our
school
libraries
for
a
long
time
didn't
want
people
to
be
able
to
change
their
password
from
the
default
set
up
here
and
like
last
summer
or
fall.
We
finally
convinced
them
to
let
people
change
their
own
password
to
something
stronger
if
they
wanted
to
and
I
know,
if
some
of
the
schools
would
be
pretty
upset
if
we
had
to
implement
some
of
these
changes,
although
it
is
tied
in
to
the
must-haves,
require
strong
password
system
preference,
yeah.
H
Because
that's
one
of
the
issues
that
I
you
know,
we
don't
let
staff
change
their
own
passwords
here,
because
if
I
did
all
of
the
passwords
and
over
libraries
would
be
one
two
three
four
and
so
this
way
I
can
have
control
over
it
more
granular,
where
we
can
still
have
patrons
that
use
the
last
four
digits
their
phone
number
or
their.
You
know
something
easy,
but
then
we
have
staff
won't
be
required
to
have
like
it.
I
was
thinking
25.
H
You
know
I'm
something
crazy,
so
that
development
is
in
the
works
to
have
it
to
have
some
more
control
at
the
at
the
Patriot
category
levels.
So
but
I
don't
have
the
and
that's
something
we've
already
funded,
so
I
think
that's
that's
already
in
the
works
and
I.
Don't
think
it
was
ready
at
night
in
2005,
but
I
think
it's.
The
target
is
like
20.
2011
is.
A
H
H
A
There's
some
discussion
about
making
patron
attribute
types,
mandatory,
I
think
there's
a
fix
coming
for
that
kind
of
as
part
of
another
bug,
that's
passed
QA.
Now,
that's
gonna
make
it
easier
to
bug
two
two,
eight
four,
four:
it's
gonna
make
it
easier
to
select
database
columns
on
system
preferences
where
you
have
to
select
database
columns,
I,
think
it's
gonna
be
checkboxes
or
like
a
model
in
module
window
where
you
can
select,
which.
