So
what
is
koha
us?
Well,
it's
it's
a
501c3
non-profit
and
it's
basically
a
user
group.
It's
so
that
we
can
get
together
and
learn
about
koha
Advanced
coha
provide
education
about
koha.
We
have
our
own
annual
conference,
which
is
what
we
would
have
had
here
in
Lawrence
until
we
kind
of
Switched
gears
and
did
the
cohac
on
we
met
last
year
in
McKinney
Texas.
We
don't
know
exactly
where
we'll
be
next
year,
so
membership
fees
for
cohacan
are
so
low.

It's
about
the
most
inexpensive
dues
for
an
organization
that
I've

heard
so
super
easy
to

a
member,
and
why
would
you
be

the

a

pretty

This
one
is
to

for
chairing
the
U.S,

koha
U.S
education
committee.
The
education
committee
meets
monthly
and
that's
where
all
of
the
educational
videos

from.
They
do
all
kinds
of
stuff
on
the
website.
That's
where
the
thought
of
having
that
every
other
Thursday
videos
came
from
so
or

for
Lizette
Shear.
She
used
to
chair
our
koha
us
system,
administration,
group,
special
interest
group,
and
she
has
since
moved
on
to
a
non-coha
library,
and
we
are
so
sorry
to
see
her
not

koha
anymore,

she
signed
up
for
the
conference,
so
she's
keeping
tabs
on
it.
But
she
was
system
administration
leader
for
a
couple
of
years,
I
think
and
and
did
a
great
job
with
that.

expresses

we
feel

recognition

their

Koha
us
would
like

the
last
nine

our
organization,

launching

organization

first
conference

2014

Wenatchee
Washington,

us

an

demo

other
various
projects.

have
also
always

active

our
organizational
meetings

conferences.

trying
to
work
with
folks
to
Mentor
other
libraries
coming
in
trying
to
connect
people
together
to
work
together
on
getting
familiar
with
koha
and
answering

questions

koha,

holding

hand
as
they
they
join.
The
koha
community
that
has
changed
with
this
last
year,
we're
going
to
start
launching
what
we're
calling
the
skill
collaborators
and
the
skill
collaborators
basically,
instead
of
people
being
matched
up
with
each
other.

we're
doing
is
we're
having
our
members
log
into
our
website.

working
on
right
now.
We're

had
a
development
that
we've
been
working
on
for
a
while
now
the
past
year
and
Owen
has
been
working
tirelessly
with
a
developer
trying
to
get
this
patch
through
and
since
then,
we've
had
to
let
the
developer
go.
They
we
had
some
complications
with
the
the
developer
and
they
did
not
they.

wrote
a
patch
and
we
got
a
patch
and
we
submitted
the
patch,
but
the
patch
failed,
because
they
did
not
adhere
to
the
koha
community
guidelines
in
writing
the
patch.
So
we
are
currently
looking
for
assistance
from
other
developers
to
see
if
they
can
clean
up
the
patch
and
and
make
it
fit
within
the
community
guidelines.
So
that's
where
we
stand
with
that
right
now
we're
working
on
moving
it
forward.

the
work
was
done,
but
we
just
have
to
get
it
within
the
boundaries
that
it's
supposed
to
be
in
in
order
to
be
added
to
the
code.
So
that's
where
we're
at
we
may
have
to
spend
a
little
bit
more,

on
that,
we're
waiting
to
hear
back
from
some
folks
on
that,
but
right
now
we
are
talking
with
other
developers
to
see
what
what
we
can
do,
but
hopefully
we
can
get
that
done.

working

team

working

revamped
our
workflow
for
development

stability

manager

the
new
administrative
position.

moving

role
