A
B
Well,
welcome
everybody
to
the
October
2022
koha
U.S
general
meeting
Jennifer
has
placed
a
link
for
the
agenda
in
the
chat.
You
know,
I
need
to
look
at
it.
Let's
see
what
comes
first
well.
First.
B
Okay,
so
under
new
business
wanted
to
update
everyone,
we
had
a
bylaws
Amendment
vote
back
before
the
conference
and
it
was
to
make
development
proposals
limited
to
koha
U.S
members.
So
in
order
to
submit
one,
you
need
to
be
a
member
of
Kauai
us
and
that
passed
unanimously,
so
we
either
are
going
to
update
our
bylaws
or
they
may
have
already
been
updated
with
that.
B
B
B
B
B
Also
the
survey
is
still
open,
so
we'd
love
to
have
you
fill
it
out.
If
you
haven't
already,
would
you
be
able
to
find
that
survey?
Link
Jennifer,
maybe
and
put
it
in
the
chat,
I'll
take
yeah
I.
Think
there's.
B
I
think
we've
had
127
responses
so
far,
so
just
be
sure
and
fill
that
out,
because
it
helps
us
know
what
went
well,
what
didn't
go!
Well,
what
you
liked
didn't
like
what
changes!
We
could
make
For
an
upcoming
conference,
all
those
things,
because
we
always
want
to
know
you
know
how
we
can
do
a
better
job.
A
C
E
C
E
B
And
we
I
know
we
had
a
lot
of
people
that
had
registered
to
come
from
countries
such
as
Pakistan,
Nigeria,
I'm,
not
sure
I,
can't
think
of
everybody,
but
I
know
a
lot
of
people
had
difficulties
in
obtaining
their
visas
because
their
appointments
for
interviews
were
so
far
out
that
they
just
couldn't
make
it
so
they
wanted
to
come,
but
just
couldn't
couldn't
make
it,
but
I
think
attendance
was
good.
I
was
really
pleased
with
the
conference.
B
Both
conference
locations,
I,
thought
Miceli's
was
excellent,
wonderful
place
to
meet,
and
then
I
loved,
Florence,
Public
Library
as
well,
but
I'd
love
to
hear
anybody's
comments,
questions
anything
they
want
to
talk
about.
Regarding
the
recent
conference.
C
I
can
answer
one
question
about
the
survey
the
survey
in
SurveyMonkey.
It's
set
to
not
let
people
take
the
the
to
do
the
evaluation
twice.
C
So
that's
why
some
of
you
are
seeing
a
different
screen
is
because
it's
not
going
to
let
you
log
in
and
take
the
survey
over
again,
so
we
don't
get
ballot
stuffing
and
then
I'm
also
going
to
post
a
link
here.
This
should
it's
working
fine
for
me
yesterday
it
didn't
work
for
Christopher.
This
is
the
link
to
the
the
results
page
of
the
survey
working.
A
B
G
I'll
say:
hey:
this
is
Ray
here.
One
thing:
I
really
enjoyed
hi,
guys,
hi
everybody.
It's
like
I,
haven't
seen
you
in
a
couple
weeks.
One
thing
I
really
enjoy.
It
was
a
small,
more
kind
of
intimate
space
which
was
cool
but
I
I.
Really
the
round
tables
like
I
know
it's
a
little
thing,
but
it
kind
of
forces
you
to
not
well
for
some
people
forces
but
for
others
it's
a
great
way
to
like
kind
of
meet
and
interact
with
people,
especially
if
we're
new
to
the
community.
G
So
less
like
ala,
like
movies
theater
rose
with
connected
chairs
that
don't
move,
which
is
really
annoying
and
more
like
round
tables,
is
my
opinion.
Little
thing.
C
One
thing
that
I
when
Christopher
and
I
were
doing
the
video
recording
yesterday
I
mentioned
that
I
think
we
should
do
one
more
probably
after
the
conference
committee
meeting
today.
I
will
do
one
more
push
out
of
please
fill
in
the
survey
to
the
people
that
were
registered
to
attend.
C
To
the
people
that
attended
in
person,
because
right
now,
we've
had
a
large
number
of
the
responses
have
been
from
people.
The.
C
Of
the
responses
have
been
from
people
that
attended
online
110
online
attempt,
people
have
filled
out
the
survey
that
said
they
attended
online.
Only
18
people
that
were
there
in
person,
have
filled
out
the
survey
or
have
sold.
It
have
answered
that
question
correctly.
That
could
be.
Another
issue
is
maybe
they
just
clicked
the
wrong
button,
so
it'd
be
nice
to
to
do
one
last
push
and
then
maybe
shut
it
down
like
in
a
couple
weeks
and
and.
D
Where
everybody
did
say
that
he
didn't,
they
didn't
like
my
poem
and
lack
of
content
when
things
went
awry,
that's
what
my
columns
are
for.
C
I
said
something
else,
the
last
thing
I'll
say,
though,
about
the
survey
is
that
of
all
the
surveys.
We've
done.
C
This
one
has
gotten
the
most
answers,
probably
because
it
went
to
the
broadest
silence,
but
you
know
this
is
like
the
fourth
or
fifth
time
we've
used
SurveyMonkey
to
get
feedback
on
on
one
of
these,
and-
and
this
is
the
best
response
we've
ever
gotten
it's
over-
but
what's
over
10,
it's
well
over
ten
percent,
it's
closer
to
like
15
percent
of
that
of
the
people
that
were
on
the
list
of
having
answered
it.
So
next.
B
A
I
will
just
reiterate
that
you
know
I
think
that
Jason
has
really
honed
the
the
the
layout
for
the
technology
well,
particularly
with
hybrid
style
conferencing
and-
and
you
know,
I-
think
that
if
you
know
if
we
get
this
all
documented,
this
is
going
to
be
a
great
model
for
us
to
to
use
in
the
future.
You
know
I
particularly
think
that
we
should
always
have
two
microphones
because
running
around
just
not
fun,
but
otherwise
you
know
it
went
extremely
well.
A
I
think
that
the
setup
was
very
smart
and
the
way
that
we
did
the
mix
with
zoom
in
YouTube
went
well.
I
think
you
know
if
there
was
any
place
that
we
could
improve.
Is
you
know
making
sure
that
the
people
that
wanted
to
participate
in
discussions
had
that
that
link
for
the
zoom
room
rather
than
YouTube
otherwise
I
think
it
was
fantastic.
B
I
think
too,
that
this
being
a
cohawk
Khan
conference
made
it.
You
know
a
little
bit
different
than
probably
what
our
conference
upcoming
conferences
will
be.
We
did
only
have
the
one
track
and
I
would
expect
that.
Perhaps
if
we
have
enough
presenters
and
things
in
future
conferences,
we
probably
would
move
back
maybe
to
it
to
track.
B
If
we
can
to
give
people
options
of
different
things,
I
mean
I,
don't
know,
but
that
that
was
a
little
different
than
a
few
of
the
recent
conferences
where
we
had
two
things
going
on
at
once.
C
There
was
actually
a
comment
in
the
survey
where
somebody
said
they
prefer
a
two-track
conference,
but
you
know,
since
this
was
koha
Khan
International
kohakhan
is
always
one
track.
So
that's
something
to
consider
once
you're
when
we're
not
cohakon.
G
One
thing
and
I
don't
know
if
this
is
normal
or
not.
One
thing
that
threw
me
off
a
little
bit
was
the
watching
the
recorded
presentations
while
I
was
live
in
person,
I
kind
of
get
it,
but
it
was.
It
was
a
little
odd,
mostly
not
so
much
the
watching
part,
but
because
the
interaction
part
didn't
really
exist
for
a
lot
of
them.
So
I
don't
know
what
the
solution
is
there.
These
are
weird
times,
but
just
throwing
that
out
there
that
it
caught
me
off
guard
yeah.
H
And
I'll
say
the
thought
execution
was
a
little
clunky
on
that
also
the
in
the
past.
When
we've
had
pre-recorded
presentations,
we
would
invite
the
presenters
to
like
log
into
the
zoom
and
answer
questions
after
the
recording
had
played
and
I
think
that
that
part
got
missed
for
some
of
our
presenters.
Some
of
our
presenters
switched
to
pre-recording
at
the
last
minute
because
they
couldn't.
I
H
Their
visas,
so
there
was
a
little
bit
of
disorganization
in
that
regard.
A
Yeah
the
recordings
were
mostly
a
backup
option.
I
mean
it
was.
It
was
given
as
an
option,
but
it
was
more
for
backup,
especially
International
I
I,
think
I
think
going
forward,
and
this
is
something
that
we
can
discuss
in
the
in
future
conference
meetings
is
that
you
know
the
hybrid
yeah
I
think
we
should
probably
hang
on
to
it.
You
know
I
was
kind
of
against
the
whole
hybrid
thing,
because
I
I,
you
know
I
love
being
there
with
everybody,
and
you
know
I
want
to
encourage
everybody
to
to
show
up.
A
I
mean
the
interaction
is,
is
a
huge
part
of
it,
but
I
understand
the
need
and
the
desire
for
hybrid
for
those
that
that
can't
actually
go,
whether
it's
finances
or
the
organization
that
they're
under
that
that's
not
letting
them
go,
but
as
far
as
the
presentations
go,
I
I
think
we
should
really
push
to
have
those
done
in
person.
I
think
it.
A
The
in-person
presentations
are
more
Dynamic
and
effective
than
the
recordings,
because
I
mean
if,
if
recordings
are
an
option,
what
happens
if
the
entire
conference
everybody
opts
to
do
a
recording,
then
we're
all
going.
Traveling
to
one
place
to
watch
a
bunch
of
recordings,
and
it's
that's
not
the
point
of
the
of
the
conference
and
so
I
I
think
that
it
would
be
good
to
you
know,
Steer
those
presentations
to
to
live
as
much
as
possible
and
I
do
understand.
You
know
there
are
going
to
be.
A
You
know
those
cases
where
somebody
misses
a
flight
or
the
it
just.
You
know
had
an
emergency
come
up
and
you
know
if
we
have
that
backup
option
that's
great
but
having
those
live
presentations
you
could
feel
the
difference
in
the
energy
of
the
room
when
somebody
was
up
front
versus
you
know
we're
just
watching
a
screen
and
and
listening
particularly.
C
J
I
mean
I
think
I
agree
about
like
the
the
power
of
like
in-person
sessions.
I
would
I
would
say
that
like
having
the
recordings
later
is
super
good
I
mean
we
sent
Ray
from
Montgomery
County
here
in
Maryland,
and
you
know
we
paid
to
fly
him
to
Kansas
right
and
so
like
you
can't
do
that
for
too
many
people
I'm
really
glad
we
sent
him.
It
seemed
like
a
great
conference.
J
I
watched
the
videos,
but
I
was
able
to
send
those
videos
to
our
entire
organization
and
be
like
hey
y'all
like
watch
these
sessions,
like
you
can
get
contact,
hours,
it'll
be
great
and
so
I
think
like
whether
or
not
it's
truly
hybrid
I
love
that
there's
the
option
of
people
viewing
all
that
afterwards
in
sort
of
like
quasi-attending
and
at
least
getting
the
content.
In
addition
to
the
true
in
person,
that's
like
more
Dynamic,
like
you,
said,
foreign.
B
F
We
were
just
gonna
go
ahead.
I
was
just
going
to
comment
I
know
in
years
past,
in
at
the
koha
U.S
conferences,
we
had
more
like
on
the
last
two
days,
more
kind
of
training,
Hands-On
kinds
of
stuff
with
you
know.
This
is
how
you
set
up
a
Sandbox,
or
this
is
how
you
do
SQL
or
jQuery
and
stuff
like
that,
and
that
seemed
kind
of
missing
this
time,
maybe
because
it
was
International
but
I'd
like
to
see
that
back
again.
C
I
kind
of
felt
like
that
was
Missing
because
we
crammed
a
lot
because
usually
we
get
a
lot
more
stuff
done
in
two
days,
because
we
do
two
tracks:
yeah,
yeah
I,
think
that
was
a
big
difference
too.
A
A
To
to
iron
out
and
figure
out,
especially
going
from
this
conference
back
to
our
national
conference,
because
you
know
two
different
creatures
all
together,
but
you
know
we're
also
working
to
upswing,
everything
from
covid
and
bring
attendance
back,
and
so
you
know
it's
it's
still
a
little
bit
different
because
you
know
it.
You
know
everything
was
so
different
prior
to
2020
and
and
so
we're
working
those
nuances
out
again.
A
But
you
know
yeah,
there's
the
question
of
you
know:
how
do
we
treat
those
two
last
two
days
personally
I
liked
having
more
content
throughout
the
conference
rather
than
having
the
the
the
last
two
days
kind
of
language.
You
know
if
if
we
had
those
those
two
days,
particularly
if
we're
going
to
have
those
Hands-On
workshops,
we
need
to
have
a
dual
track
for
for
something
like
that,
because
we
need
to
be
able
to
make
it.
You
know
something
for
everybody,
not
just
a
a
special.
A
You
know,
group
of
people
that
want
to
do
something
particular,
so
you
know
I
I,
you
know
if
we
do
a
dual
track.
That
may
be
the
way
to
go,
but
otherwise
you
know
I
liked
having
those
presentations
spread
throughout
the
conference.
I
felt
like
we
weren't,
like
just
a
meager
bunch.
At
the
end,
we
we
held
on
to
a
good
crowd
throughout
the
the
conference
this
year,
which
was
really
nice.
B
I
B
Some
of
the
comments
were
that
the
day
was
maybe
a
little
too
long,
which
I
think
is.
You
know
a
good
point
and
that
you
know
it's
it's
hard
to
sit
there
and
and
watch
you
know.
Even
though
we
had
some
breaks,
you
know
that
it
was
kind
of
hard
to
sit
there
and
watch
presentation,
presentation,
presentation,
you
know,
and
so
I
think
you
know
wanting
to
have
a
little
more.
B
You
know
breaks
in
different
areas
where
maybe
it
it
breaks
up
into
a
working
thing
as
opposed
to
a
presentation.
You
know
something
like
that.
B
Yes,
well,
we
are
going
to
be
having
our
conference
meeting
after
this.
So
we'll
be
talking.
The
committee,
we'll
talk,
be
talking
more
details
about
that.
C
I
I
I
guess
is
one
last
thing
to
say
about
the
comments
about
the
conference.
Several
people
have
sent
notes
to
my
boss,
saying
how
Mike
Nichols
saying
thank
you
for
hosting
the
conference.
It
was
really
awesome
if
more
people
would
do
that
and
be
sure
to
mention
the
contribution
of
Robin
and
George.
That
would
look
great
for
my
evaluation
coming
up
in
December.
C
C
C
A
Air-Conditioned
shuttles.
I
B
Our
next
item
is
Officer
nominations,
so
it's
the
time
of
the
year
when
we
start
asking
people
to
think
about
running
for
a
koha,
U.S
officer
position
to
get
involved
on
the
board
in
that
way.
This
year
we
have
vice
president
treasurer
and
member
supported,
which
is
a
person
who
works
at
a
library,
that's
supported
by
a
vendor
instead
of
running
co-op
on
their
own.
B
So
later
this
afternoon,
I'm
going
to
send
out
the
nomination
form,
you
need
to
be
a
koha
U.S
member
in
good
standing
to
run
for
office.
B
B
But
it's
been
great
serving
on
the
board.
There
will
be
a
link
on
the
nomination
form
that
takes
you
to
the
bylaws
that
shows
kind
of
the
different
responsibilities
of
the
board
members.
So
that
might
you
know,
help
you
out
and
we'd
love
to
have
a
a
competitive
ballot
so
that
you
you
have
people
to
choose
from
and
is
there
anybody
here?
That's
thinking
about
running
or
knows
someone
who
is
thinking
about
running
for
one
of
our
board
positions.
G
J
Yeah
I
mean
I
would
be
interested
like
I
was
emailing
John
earlier,
because
we're
trying
to
get
a
whole
bunch
of
us
registered
and
just
pay
all
at
once,
and
so
we
should
be
able
to
sort
that
out
like
hopefully
today
and
you
know,
I've
been
getting
a
lot
of
calls
from
other
East
Coast
Library
systems
that
are
considering
koha
with
Bywater
or
otherwise.
J
And
so
it
seems
like
a
really
exciting
time,
where
a
lot
more
attention
is
being
seen
like
I,
don't
think
I
can
disclose
any
of
them
yet
because
it's
like
part
of
the
process
or
whatever,
but
there's
some
fairly
large
Public
Library
entities
that,
like
they're,
going
to
make
the
switch
and
join
us.
So
it's
an
exciting
time.
Fingers
crossed
that
all
kind
of
keeps
blowing
the
same
direction
you
know,
and
then
we
can
pull
them
into.
D
I
may
regret
saying
this,
but
if
you
have
any
small,
if
you're
from
any
small
libraries
that
are
thinking
about
going
it
on
their
own,
you
can
send
them
to
me
for
sure.
C
C
B
Okay,
well
I'll
be
sending
out
the
nomination
form
later
this
afternoon
and
I
think
we're
gonna.
Have
that
open
through
November
1st
I
think
is
what
we
said.
Do
you
recall
Christopher
or
anyone
else
on
the
board?
A
B
B
I
have
to
think
about,
I'll
have
to
look
back,
and
the
next
thing
on
the
agenda
is
the
koha
US
2023
site,
location
proposals.
B
And
so
we'll
be
talking,
probably
a
little
bit
more
about
that
in
the
conference
meeting.
But
as
a
koha
US
member,
you
have
the
opportunity
to
put
your
organization
forward
to
host
a
koha
U.S
conference,
and
so
we
just
had
a
conference
and
we
turned
right
around
and
we
start
asking
for
Conference
location
proposals
for
the
next
conference.
So
that
is
upcoming
and
there
have
been
some
people
that
have
had
some
inquiries
about
that.
So
does
anyone
have
questions
comments
about
the
site,
location
proposals
what's
involved
or
just
anything.
I
So,
what's
the
so,
what's
the
goal
attendance
and
like
space
that
you
need
for
to
run
the
conference
because
I
think
that
would
be
the
that
would
probably
be
James's
first
question.
B
Well,
we've
been
averaging
60-ish
people,
it
seems
like
in
recent
conferences.
What
did
we
have
that
we
had
more
at
Pueblo?
Didn't
we
John.
B
Because
Pueblo
would
have
been
our
sort
of
last
normal
conference
before
covid
and
online
and
unable
to
attend
and
those
kind
of
things.
So
because
we
were,
you
know,
hoping
to
grow
the
numbers
you
know
from
that
point
forward.
But
then
you
know
things
happening
so
that
hasn't
hasn't
taken
place
but
I.
Think
realistically
you
know
60
to
80
to.
E
Probably
space
up
to
a
hundred
yeah,
because
that's
what
we
always
aim
for,
even
though
we
only
get
to
about
60
percent
of
that
we've
been
keeping
statistics
on
our
conferences.
Since
we
became
a
formal
organization,
we
had
50
55
in
Idaho
2018.
We
did
not
keep
statistics
because
we
glimmed
our
conference
on
to
kohakhan,
as
opposed
to
this
year,
where
kohakan
Guam
gone
to
us,
we
had
66
in
Pueblo,
we
had
no
physical
conference
in
2020
50
in
2021,
with
a
very
big
asterisk,
that
about
60
of
those
were
local
to
the
Dallas.
E
Metropolitan
Area
and
I
will
very
Loosely
Define
that,
because
that's
a
very
big
area,
most
of
our
attendees
came
from
Texas
and
now,
of
course,
this
year
the
final
in-person
attendance
member
was
57,
but
we
did
ultimately
have
102
registered
and,
as
Barbara
noted,
we
had
a
lot
of
international
attendees
that
ran
into
issues
coming
because
of
the
requirements
that
their
governments
or
our
government
made
and
so
102
signed
up,
but
57
actually
crossed
through
the
threshold
of
the
Sally's
and
Lawrence
public.
G
Yeah,
hey
John,
do
you
do
you
happen
to
know
kind
of
the
breakout
between
like
the
vendor
type
and
the
library
type?
Is
it
like
50,
50,
20
80,
something
like
that?
We.
E
E
Maybe
we
have
a
vendor,
come
for
half
a
day
or
a
full
day,
and
usually
that's
because
they've
sponsored
something
like
a
lunch
other
than
that
we
generally
do
not
have
a
separate
vendor
area,
although
it
would
be
interesting
to
put
The
Feelers
out
for
that
again
next
year,
we've
always
had
at
least
one
interested
vendor
saying
we
want
to
come
to
the
conference,
but
we
personally,
as
somebody
that's
been
on
the
conference
committee,
for
as
long
as
I
have
we've
never
had.
E
We've
never
thought
that
any
vendor
would
think
it
would
be
worth
their
while
to
come
to
a
conference.
That's
only
attended
by
50
people
and
that's
why
we
we've
done
the
well
instead
of
coming
and
setting
up
a
booth,
because
we
really
have
never
had
appropriate
space
for
boots.
You
know,
would
you
consider
sponsoring
a
lunch
and
giving
a
presentation
during
that
instead
and
that's
where
a
lot
of
our
vendor
involvement
has
been
so
we
really
have
not
historically
had
too
much.
I
Bet
there
would
be
more
vendors
interested
moving
forward
because
I,
don't
I,
didn't
have
every
conversation
I
have
with
the
vendor.
Recently,
it's
all
about
apis
and
connecting
into
Co-op
and
they're
all
like.
Oh,
can
you
get
us
in
with
buy
water
ooh?
Can
you
get
us
to
you
know
in
with
the
people
who
will
make
this
work
so,
like
I,
think,
there's
I,
think
they're
starting
to
see
the
teeth
and
like
that
they
need
to
get
in
with
it
and
get
their
developers
working
on
stuff
with
us.
H
I
just
want
to
note
back
on
the
space
considerations.
If
we're
gonna
do
two
tracks
that
duplicates
the
need
for
technology
like
we're,
gonna
have
to
have
found
video
audio
in
both
tracks
or
something
oh
bandwidth.
We
we
even
had
bandwidth
issues
at
Lawrence,
Public
driving
stream,
because
it
died
at
one
point
so
making
sure
that
you
have
enough
speed
to
keep
up
two
simultaneous
streams
going,
which
I
sure
I'm
sure
you
guys
are
large
enough.
H
That's
not
a
problem
here
in
Kansas,
I
live
in
rural
Kansas,
so
we
we
still
have
some
of
that
digital
divide.
Going
on.
B
And
as
far
as
space,
too
generally
there's
you
know
like
space
to
hold
all
the
attendees,
but
I
think
the
form
also
asks
about
you
know:
do
you
have
like
space
for
breakout
rooms
so
that
people
could
go
off
and
have
you
know
something
else,
they're
working
on
I'm
trying
to
think
about
other
kitchen
facilities
don
could
go
on
and
on
about
the
necessary
things
that
he
would
like
for
kitchen
facilities?
H
And
and
like
Barbara
said,
a
lot
of
that
stuff
is
in
the
form
when
you
submit
your
proposal,
so
you'll
it'll
get
you
thinking
about
that
kind
of
stuff.
B
And
I
think,
let
me
see.
B
The
to-do
list
for
the
conference
shows
that
the
call
for
location
proposals
the
last
time
we
did
it
was
it
opened
December
1st,
so
I
assume
we'll
probably
be
following
the
same
kind
of
schedule.
J
I
have
a
question
about
like
what
hosting
it
entails.
So,
like
does
like
what
is
it
that
we're
agreeing
to
do
as
like
a
library
system
like
if
we
say
we're
going
to
host
it
and
that's
what
ends
up
happening
like
what
is
there
like
some
place,
that
it's
delineated
like
what
we
do
versus
like
koi
us
just
to
have
like
a
full
understanding.
B
Sounds
like
a
good
idea.
One
thing
that
generally
has
Fallen
to
the
hosting
organization
is
to
come
up
with
the
keynote
speaker.
A
C
Kind
of
good
to
have
that
happen,
if
you
especially
if
you
want
the
keynote
to
be
in
person
that
didn't
happen
in
Pueblo,
where
I
got
Joanne
Ransom
to
agree
to
do
the
virtual
keynote
from
New
Zealand,
because
I
arranged
that
from
Kansas
not
from
Pueblo
but
I.
Think
if
you
want
to
have
a
key
I,
would
prefer
to
have
a
keynote
in
person
and
I.
Think.
Actually,
that's
that's
a
lot
easier
when
you
rely
on
the
on
the
local
library
to
find
somebody
to
talk.
B
H
And
I
would
say
other
stuff
that
falls
to
the
hosting
institution
is
like
all
the
local
stuff
like
setting
up
Hotel
blocks,
yeah
explaining
Transportation
all
the
local
Arrangement
restaurants,
that
sort
of
stuff,
and
then
the
committee
kind
of
works
on
the
other
part
of
it,
the
stuff
that
we
can
do
from
a
distance.
If
that
makes
sense,.
C
This
year,
I
had
nothing
to
do
with
choosing
presentations.
I
just
focused
on
you
know
getting
first,
it
was
getting
Lawrence
Public
Library
arranged,
and
then
it
was
getting
the
sellies
arranged
too,
because
we
thought
we
might
go
over
the
capacity
of
Lawrence
Public
Robin.
My
co-worker
here
arranged
the
hotels
she
arranged.
The
baseball
game.
C
I
did
a
lot
to
get
local
information
like
that.
That
magazine,
that
was
in
everybody's
bag,
about
explore,
Lawrence
I
helped
people
arrange
rides
from
the
airport
to
Lawrence.
I
range
rides
for
about
I
think
it
was
eight
people
that
that
we
did
a
thing
beforehand.
That
actually
puts
you
guys
in
a
better
position,
because
you're
not
45,
minutes
away
from
the
airport,
unless
traffic's,
really
bad
I.
Suppose.
G
J
C
Have
shuttle
service
to
the
airport?
Nothing
there's!
No.
There
was
before
the
pandemic,
but
there
was
a
company
that
did
a
local
shuttle
to
the
airport
and
back,
but.
C
Anymore,
so
I'm
trying
to
think
of
what
else
we
did
you
know
we
we
took
the
burden
a
lot
of
the
burden
of
paying
for
things
and
then
I've
got
I.
I
still
have
some
receipts
to
get
to
John
for
the
program
printing
that
that
I
thought
of
today
that
I
need
to
get
to
him.
So
there's
a
lot
of
running
errands
and
taking
care
of
the
local
Arrangements
is
mostly
what
you
end
up
doing.
If,
when,
when
you
do
that,
so.
B
And
in
the
past,
our
activity
has
generally
been,
like
a
you
know,
a
meeting
at
or
not
a
meeting,
but
a
gathering
at
a
restaurant
instead
of
an
actual
activity
like
a
baseball
game.
E
Because
the
the
cultural
baseball
game
was
considered
the
international
event's
cultural
Day
event,
normally
the
International
Conference
is
actually
five
days
long.
Two
days
of
conference
stuff,
then
cultural
day,
then
two
days
of
of
other
presentations,
and
we
just
did
not
do
that.
This
time
we
just
decided,
hey,
oh
hey,
look,
Royals
are
in
town,
we
didn't
know
they'd
stinked
at
the
time,
and
it
worked
out
that
we
could
incorporate
that
into
one
of
the
days
instead
of
making
it
a
completely
separate
event
like
what
was
done.
H
C
Already
planned
the
days
before
koha
before
the
International
Community
asked
if
we
could
take
over
the
conference
this
year,
so.
A
Year,
there's
always
there's
always
a
chance,
but
a
good
point.
Okay,
but
generally
it's
it's.
You
know
we're
we're
up
for
hosting
internationally
every
five
years,
not
kohai
us,
but
you
know
the
the
United
States
is
up
for
hosting,
but
you
know
this
year
it
kind
of
came
on
us
quicker
than
usual
because
nobody
was
doing
it
in
the
in
the
community
around
the
world.
So.
C
And
I
think
that
the
koha
community
rule
is
that
it
can't
be
held
on
the
same.
They
try
to
switch
continents
every
every
other
it
like
if
you,
if
North
America,
hosts
it's
going
to
be
two
years
before
North
America
is
eligible
to
host
again,
and
this
and
next
year's
Kohn
kohakhan
23
is
already
scheduled
for
Helsinki.
C
F
D
B
Okay,
so
let's
move
into
committee
updates
I,
don't
really
have
anything
additional
to
say
about
the
conference.
Christopher
development.
A
A
The
last
development
was
paused
because
the
developer,
who
is
no
longer
with
us,
didn't
follow
strict
Community
guidelines
in
the
development,
even
though
it
works
there's
a
bunch
of
stuff
that
needs
to
be
reworked
in
in
the
patch,
and
so
we're
waiting
to
hear
back
from
Bywater
about
that
and
I'm
supposed
to
hear
back
from
them
this
week
and
we've
had
some
feedback
from
another
vendor
and
so
we're
just
trying
to
get
an
idea
of
how
we
can
finish
this
up.
A
If
we
need
to
put
a
little
bit
more
money
into
you
know
paying
somebody
to
clean
up
the
code
to
get
this
done.
But
that's
where
we
are
with
that.
We
have
a
meeting
this
Friday
for
developments
and
also
we're
getting
getting
ready
to
gear
up
for
another
round
of
proposals
for
development,
and
so
we'll
be
we'll
be
putting
out
the
requests
for
people
to
submit
proposals
or
add
to
the
proposals
that
we
already
have
and
then
we'll
be
putting
those
up
for
consideration
and
voting
later
on.
B
All
righty:
how
about
education
in
community
do
we
have
an
update.
C
Yeah
I
gave
a
really
lame
half-assed
update
at
the
conference,
because
I
was
completely
unprepared
for
that,
because
I
was
busy,
you
know
doing
other
things,
so
our
last
con,
our
last
education
committee
meeting,
was
on
August
17th.
C
We
as
usual,
we
talked
about
the
website
for
quite
a
bit.
There
have
been
some
updates
made
since
the
July
meeting
foreign.
There
had
been
some
changes
made
to
the
adult
about
page.
There
had
been
some
changes
made
to
the
mailing
list
page.
C
We
talked
about
how
it
might
be
handy
to
if,
if
we
had
the
addresses
for
the
mailing
list
there,
but
then
we
also
thought
that
that
might
open
open
us
up
to
a
lot
of
spam.
The
information
is
there
now
how
to
get
to
those
Pages.
It's
just
kind
of
a
few
layers
deep,
and
we
might
talk
about
that
again
at
the
next
meeting
for
Content
development.
C
On
the
learning
page,
we
talked
about
how
a
survey
I,
don't
remember
exactly
what
we
talked
about
concerning
the
survey,
but
we
talked
about
making
that
a
goal
for
2023
to
add
some
kind
of
survey.
I,
don't
remember
exactly
what
the
survey
was
for.
H
C
There's
a
we
talked
about
adding
in
other
software,
add
other
software
not
listed.
This
was
a
task
that
I
guess
was
assigned
to
Christopher,
but
he
hadn't
taken
care
of
it.
Yet
so
hopefully
he'll
be
at
the
next
education
committee
meeting,
which
is
on
October
19th
I'll
send
out
a
reminder
for
that
today.
C
There
was
some
stuff
talk
about
the
koha
skills
collaborator,
which
I
know
has
been
moving
forward.
I
saw
the
email
about
that
sometime
last
week,
or
so
we
talked
about.
We've
talked
for
quite
a
while
about
doing
a
video
or
a
webinar
about
GitHub
and
buywaters
agreed
to
do
that,
but
we're
not
sure
what
the
goals
are
for
it.
C
C
I
talked
a
little
bit
about
the
training
videos
that
Christopher
and
I
do
and
what
we
were
working
on
and
that's
all
completely
out
of
date.
Now,
because
the
list
I
gave
everybody,
we've
already
covered,
all
those,
and
then
we
talked
about
reference
sheets
and
how
Andrew
was
going
to
be
the
new
system.
Administrator
special
interest
group
coordinator
and
I
went
to
the
special
engine
that
special
interest
group
yesterday,
and
it
was
awesome.
So
it's
a
really
productive
meeting,
really
useful
so
and.
C
A
I
will
add
that
the
skill
collaborators
page
the
the
list
is
down
for
some
reason:
something's
going
on
with
one
of
the
plugins,
so
I
will
work
on
that
when
I'm
done
with
meetings,
cool.
E
We
remain
financially
viable,
though
a
good
chunk
of
the
money
you
see
here
in
the
bank
statements
and
the
PayPal
balance
is
reflective
of
the
donations
we've
received
in
support
of
the
conference,
but
for
expenses
that
have
not
yet
been
paid,
we've
got
the
biggest
Bill
outstanding,
which
is
the
Miceli's
catering,
Bill
George
forwarded
that
to
me
yesterday.
So
that
will
take
the
balance
down
considerably
and
there
are
a
few
other
outstanding
things
that
I
still
need
to
take
care
of,
like
the
mailing
of
the
certificates
and
the
purchasing
of
the
supplies
associated
with
that.
E
So
our
November
report
will
be
much
more
reflective
of
where
we
actually
are
financially.
Instead
of
all
of
the
extra
fluidity
that
hosting
the
conference
and
coordinating
the
donations
for
that
will
get
us,
we
did
receive
our
second
quarter.
Amazon
smile
donation,
it's
over
42.77
and
just
giving
us
a
year
to
date
of
about
151
dollars
and
a
lifetime
about
1900.
E
Do
note
that
this
is
the
time
of
year
where
the
finance
committee's
attention
turns
over
to
membership.
Membership
is
not
a
separately
administered
entity
at
this
point.
Rather,
it's
always
fallen
on
the
treasurer
means
the
financial
manager,
and
so
we
were,
we
will
be
making
the
transition
over
to
2023
membership.
That's
going
to
be
happening
very
soon,
with
the
goal
of
opening
up
2023
membership.
E
Officially,
by
the
time
we
have
our
December
general
meeting,
utilizing
a
new
form
that
Christopher
Brandon
has
been
instrumental
in
setting
up
which
will
migrate
our
membership,
mostly
out
of
Google
the
organization's
Google
instance,
and
into
something
that
we
hope
will
be
a
little
bit
more
easy
to
maintain
than
what
is
currently
in
place.
So
stay
tuned
November
will
be
kind
of
quiet
on
that
front,
but
we
should
have
a
lot
to
say
about
membership
in
December.
C
I,
just
as
a
comment,
John
I'm,
just
about
to
send
you
the
receipt
for
the
program
as
as
much
as
great
a
job
as
you
do.
At
the
finance
committee
report,
I
took
the
time
you
were
explaining
everything
to
walk
out
and
scan.
B
Thank
you
John
on
and,
of
course
we
have
a
fundraising
committee
sort
of,
but
we
don't
have
a
chair
or
anybody
on
the
committee.
So
if
you're
interested
in
being
on
the
fundraising
committee,
that
would
be
a
great
way
to
volunteer
for
kaha
us.
B
So
we've
got
about
five
minutes
left
for
any
general
comments.
Questions
if
you
want
to
mention
a
bug
or
an
issue
you're
having
open
forum.
J
I
had
a
question:
I
was
curious,
like
what
it
would
take
for
us
to
found
some
sort
of
like
Regional
user
group
for
the
East
Coast,
because
it
looks
like
there's
three
right
now
on
the
website,
which
is
like
Kansas
Texas
and
the
Mountain
West.
So
I
don't
know.
If,
like
is
that
just
the
thing
we
just
kind
of
do
and
then
we
have
you
put
it
there
or
is
there
any
sort
of
like
I,
don't
know
process
for
that?
What.
C
We
facilitated
for
Texas
and
for
the
Intermountain
West
was
we're
using
our
Google
Suite
to
manage
their
mailing
list
and
we've
been
putting
their
we've
got
their
spot
on
the
website
and
and
that's
kind
of
what
we've
been
doing
to
help
facilitate
those.
So.
J
C
J
Yeah
we
should.
We
should
do
that
because
then,
when
I
reach
out
to
like
you
know,
like
I,
was
going
to
call
somebody
over
at
Arlington
in
Virginia
because
they
have
koha
and
just
be
like
hey,
you
should
have
more
people
joining
kohai,
us
or
whatever,
and
then
when
I
say
that
I
could
be
like,
and
this
Regional
User
Group
that'll
secretly
just
be
us
for
now.
That's.
D
J
Four
people
or
something
but
but
yeah
that
would
be
that
would
be
cool.
D
J
D
H
D
Yeah
I'm
trying
to
use
the
amazing
software
that
Ray
demonstrated
to
get
data
and
I'm
trying
to
update
to
the
current
versions
and
I'm
trying
to
do
a
huge
batch
update.
Changing
the
I
type
about
5
000
items
I'm
having
a
horrible
time
with
every
single
one
of
them.
But
I'll
do.
D
B
Okay,
well
great
meeting
glad
everyone
could
be
here.
Our
next
general
meeting
is
November
9th
we're
stay
behind
if
you're
on
the
conference
committee
we'll
meet
next,
and
just
thank
you
to
everybody
who
worked
on
putting
Quahog
con
together,
everybody
who
attended
everybody
who
presented
just
thank
you
to
everybody
for
a
great
conference.
