issue

with

would

really
nice

to
be
able

just

shut
down.

not

pickup
location,
their
holds

pick

branches

to

and
renovations.

the
accounts

payment
goes

which

fee

still
you
know
every
time

run

reports
after
an
upgrade

all

to
agree
on
what
a
good
policy
is

sure

vendor
that
the
city
uses
for
everything

will
eject

a
credit
card
vendor
for
all

functions
and

sure
that

contractual

our
ottawa
library
uses
stripe,
also,

the
patron
comes

they
pay
with
stripe
and
then
staff
go
back
and
forget
to
mark
mark
the
items
as
paid
in
quahog,

you've

a
situation
where
people
paid,
but
the
quahog
doesn't
think
they've
paid,
and
so
that's
not
a
good
situation,
but
having
them
integrated
is
awesome.

current
situation,
we
have
a
company
that
does
credit
card
vending
for
us.
Somebody
comes
in
pays
for
a
book.
Does
something,
and
then
a
staff
member
forgets
to
clear
it
from
their
cohort
record,

throws

off
right.
The
city
financial
department
sees
the
credit
card
payment
and
then
we
of
course
control
the
report
that
they
see
with
the
library
and
when
they
don't
match
up
it's
a
real
problem
right.

nice
things

pandemic,

managed
to
talk
four
additional
libraries
into
going
fine
free,
so
the

libraries

hold
out,
though
they're

did
they

find
free,

they
also
forgave
all
unpaid
fines
that
were
still
outstanding

they
check

out,

it
and
then
they

back

leave
the
library
for
copies.

decided

not
want
to
handle
any

a
money

and
then
we
got
with
itc
and

get.

a
money
manager

load
money
on
the
car
sort

debit
card,

only
need

use
their
own
money
and
they
make
their
own
copies
at
the
copy
machine,

we
also
use
paper

our
data
was
so
old,
it
predated
the
permanent
location
field,
so
it
was
reverting
back
to
null
on
the
older
items,
but
we
got
that
cleared
up
for
the
most
part
we
did
have
to
go
in
and
manually
fix
a

things.

like,
like
600
items
that
got
messed
up,
that
we
couldn't
recover
locations
on,
but
that
was
a
quick
fix
for
our
catalogers.

issue
we've
had
with
it

I've
got
two
conflicting
workflow
viewpoints
in
my
libraries
because,
like
george,
we
have
47
libraries
disagreeing
on
how
to
do
things.
Some
of
them
don't
want
to
check
things
in
until
after
the
items
have
been
quarantined
for
the
four
or
five
days,
which
means
that
koha
isn't
going
to
initiate
that
card
to
shelf
functionality
until
they
check
it
in
so
things
go
into
quarantined
after
they've
already
been
quarantined
and
then,
along
with
that
holds,
have
been
a
little
bit
of
an
issue.

people

wanting

a
shelving
delay

we

run

problem

way

works
in
cohob,

we
use
aspen
as

was

our

following

process

days

the

lot

get
used
to

have
staff
to
understand
all
the
steps.

have
to

might

we
had
a
number
of
youth
services
staff
who
were
extremely
artsy
crafty
and
they
spent
any
time
they
weren't
helping
somebody
hand
creating
all
these
little
bookmarks,
and
so
we
had
stacks
of
homemade
bookmarks
that
had
quotes
and
fun
drawings
and
all
sorts
of
stuff
from
our
artsy
crafty
folks,
and
every
time
we
took
a
sack
of
books
out
to
somebody.
We
had
one
of
those
handmade
bookmarks
in
there
and
it
got
a
lot
of
positive
feedback.
