From YouTube: 20220222 - Kubernetes WG Naming bi-weekly sync
Description
No description was provided for this meeting.
If this is YOUR meeting, an easy way to fix this is to add a description to your video, wherever mtngs.io found it (probably YouTube).
A
Hello,
everyone-
it
is
monday
february
22nd
2021,
it's
about
10
34
am
on
the
pacific
coast
of
north
america,
and
this
is
the
bi-weekly
kubernetes
working
group
naming
a
sync
meeting.
My
name
is
lust.
I
will
host
the
meeting
and
steven
will
be
taking
notes
all.
A
Right,
please
add
your
name
to
the
attendees
on
the
agenda.
If
you
are
otherwise
not
occupied,
do
we
want
to
do
status
updates
and
go
through
the
board
today
see
that
are
we
even.
A
Do
you
want
to
go
through
the
board
just
really
quickly,
so
I
don't
know
if
you've
heard.
A
Okay,
I
think
that
makes
sense,
so
we
have
two
open
discussions
on
the
mailing
list
right
now.
One
is
around
the
term
black
box
and
kartik
has
asked
if
we
can
close
this
discussion
based
on
the
recommendations
and
previous
discussions.
I
responded
to
him
this
morning
and
said
from
my
perspective,
I
think
it's
okay
to
close
this
discussion
and
I
just
want
to
make
sure
that
that's
still
the
group's
opinion.
B
I
believe
that
should
be
fine.
Allow
me
to
go
through
the
discussion
one
more
time.
It's
pretty
short,
I
think
what
fell
out
of
it
was
we
want
recommendations
on
what
to
do
about
non-preferred
terms
in
external
dependencies,
which
is
on
the
previous
meeting
agenda,
and
that
is
still
an
open
issue.
I
don't
think
it
is
strictly
required
to
close
this
one,
though.
A
Yeah:
okay:
let's.
A
Maybe
have
a
conversation
about
that
today
as
well,
then
yeah.
Let's
have
a
conversation
about
that.
So
the
other
thing
on
our
agenda
is
the
nikita
and
I
believe
the
slack
mods
are
working
on
a
bot
which
will
alert
people
when
they
use
language
that
is
perhaps
inappropriate
or
otherwise
not
recommended
for
the
community
and
they
are
seeking
our
looks
good
to
me
on
the
filter
list.
A
Now,
the
last
that
I
looked
at
this
filter
list-
and
I
suspect
it
hasn't
changed
since
they
only
had
one
one
recommendation
in
this
list
which
is
instead
of
using
guys
whose
folks
are
all
so
they
want.
A
B
So
this
is
something
I
suggested
kind
of
for
the
ini
stuff
that
we
probably
want.
We,
as
ini
reps,
probably
want
something
ingestible
in
multiple
areas
and
in
such
a
way
that
it
is
additive
or,
however,
someone
wants
to
build
it
out.
B
They
can
take
our
list,
they
can
add
on
top
of
it
yada
yada,
but
we
would
have
to
talk
about
how
that
would
work.
A
Yeah,
I
agree
with
that.
I
think
here's
the
thing,
though,
if
you
think
about
a
recommendation
like
don't
use
the
word
master
use
something
else.
Instead
master,
it's
not
the
way
the
spot
seems
to
work.
Is
it
pings
on
keywords
and
the
recommendations
that
we're
gonna
produce
will
not.
B
Yeah
yeah,
this
is
it's:
it's
going
to
be
context
specific
for
the
ini
stuff,
I'm
talking
in
the
general
case,
the
slack
bot.
We
probably
just
need
to
suggest
that
they
leverage
what
we
have
as
current
recommendations.
I
am
seeing
I'm
going
through
this
pr
right
now,
yeah.
Where
is
filters.emil.
A
A
I
think
that,
for
example,
blacklist
whitelist
is
a
pretty
reasonable
substitution
recommendation
to
make,
but
I
think
there
are
other
things
like.
B
A
I
think
we're
fine
with
the
current
recommendation.
I
think
we
should
mostly
stay
out
of
building
this
list
of
recommendations,
though,
or
building
this
list
of
filters
that
they're
trying
to
build.
I
don't
know.
B
A
A
A
A
B
All
right
abhishek,
do
you
have
sorry
one
have
you
been
on
this
meeting
before
and
would
you
like
to
say,
hi
and-
and
you
know
maybe
talk
about
what
what
you're,
what
you're
interested
in.
C
Yeah
sure
so
this
is
actually
my
first
meeting
and
I'm
not
sure
why
I
got
the
invite
the
calendar
invite
for
this
meeting.
First
of
all,
so
so
I'm
trying
to
contribute
to
kubernetes
and
I
actually
think
nikita
shared
the
link
and
actually
joined
the
group
and
that's
how
I
got
this
invite.
B
Yeah
yeah
yeah,
sorry,
the
google
group
will
automatic,
like
once
you
join
a
google
group
for
most
I,
if
not
all
groups
in
kubernetes,
they
will
automatically
send
you.
The
calendar
invites
there's
magic
in
the
background
that
handles
that
we
have
a
project
board
that
is
linked.
I
believe
in
our
meeting
notes
just
looking
for
that.
C
In
the
meantime,
something
about
me,
I
did
my
masters
from
state
university
of
new
york
binghamton.
I
am
an
incoming
software
engineer
at
amazon
and
right
now,
since
I
have
some
time,
I'm
actually
trying
to
use
my
experience
to
do
something
good
trying
to
build
something
help
join
some
community
where
I
can
share
my
experiences.
B
That
is
awesome
congrats
on
the
on
the
upcoming
role
and
yeah
we
have
so
I
will,
if
you
can
see
the
meeting
notes
or
if
you
can't,
I'm
sharing
in
the
zoom
chat
as
well.
That
is
our
project
board.
B
So
you
can
kind
of
see
all
of
the
active
work
for
working
group
naming
are
there?
Are
there
specific
things
in
the
kubernetes
community
that
you're
you're
interested
in?
If
you
can.
C
C
Right
now,
I'm
just
looking
forward
to.
I
have
some
research
experience
in
machine
learning
during
my
master's
I
have
dabbled
a
little
bit
with
go
and
kubernetes,
but
I'm
still
searching
and
the
community
is
great
everywhere
I
go.
There
are
a
lot
of
resources.
Everyone
is
up
there
for
helping
on
twitter
or
even
through
I
joined
few
meetings
and
people
were
always
helping.
They
were
sharing
resources,
so
yeah,
I
think,
maybe
in
next
month
or
two
I
will
know
where
I
can
do
some
impact.
B
Yeah
yeah,
I'm
excited
to
I'm
excited
to
be
part
of
your
journey.
Let
us
know
if
you
have
any
questions
we
have,
I
think
I
think
for
now
maybe
most
of
our
things
are
accounted
for.
Celeste.
