From YouTube: 04192021 - Kubernetes WG Naming Bi-weekly meeting
Description
No description was provided for this meeting.
If this is YOUR meeting, an easy way to fix this is to add a description to your video, wherever mtngs.io found it (probably YouTube).
A
Okay,
it
is
10
34
a.m
on
the
pacific
coast
and
it
is
monday
march
or
april
19th
2021.
This
is
the
bi-weekly
meeting
of
the
kubernetes
working
naming
group.
I
am
one
of
your
elite,
celeste
horgan
and
on
the
call
we
also
have
christopher
devries
and
zach
corlisson,
so
we're
just
going
to
do
a
walk
through
the
project
board
today
and
see
where
we're
at,
because
we
have
cancer's
our
last
couple
of
meetings
oops,
that
is,
that
is
my
whole
screen.
We
don't
want
that.
It's
a
4k,
monitor.
A
There
we
go
and
let's
just
sort
of
see
if
we
can
move
anything
anything
over,
I'm
gonna
zoom
in
and
give
you
a
little
bit
bigger
text
and,
let's
hop
to
it
so
first
things
first
and
if
somebody
can
take
notes,
while
we
do
this,
this
would
also
be
very
helpful.
I
will.
A
Thank
you.
I
will
do
my
best
to
like
reduce
the
morning
caffeine
of
my
veins,
so
I'm
gonna
start
at
the
review
in
progress
column,
which
is
the
guessbook
example
in
the
kubernetes
examples.
Repo
was
updated
to
remove
inappropriate
terminology.
Paul
czar
was
the
original
owner
of
this
pr,
but
he
did
not.
He
sort
of
didn't
have
time
to
take
it
over
the
line,
so
we
asked
sig
docs
to
help,
take
it
over
and
push
it
over
the
line.
So
jim
has
a
pr
open
on
this.
Now.
A
A
To
keep
moving
that
along
because
it
would
be
great
to
get
that
merged.
Okay,
let's
start
with.
What's
in
progress
so
top
of
the
hour,
we
have
rename
master
branch
to
maine.
This
is
in
kubernetes.
A
A
And
I'm
actually
gonna
tag
steven
in
the
discussion
around
this
on
github
to
give
a
bit
of
a
background
update,
which
I
just
happened
to
know
by
talking
to
steven
this
particular
pr
is-
or
this
particular
request
is,
I
think,
being
handled
by
the
github
management
group
for
kubernetes.
A
A
A
And
I
think
she's
done
that
work.
But
let's
look
at
the.
A
I
genuinely
she
hasn't
touched
this
since
february,
so
I'm
getting
the
impression
that
karen
is
probably
done
the
work
that
she
intends
to
do
around
this,
and
if
so,
it
would
be
very
interesting
to
see
this
issue
get
closed.
B
Yeah,
it
looks
like
it's
already
gone
stale
once
and
tim
put
the
paddles
to
it
and
brought
it
back
to
life.
So
I'm
guessing
that
tim
has
something
specific
there
that
he
wants
to
see.
B
B
Okay,
I'm
so
sorry,
I
need
to
step
away
for
a
couple
minutes.
I
will
be
right
back
absolutely.
A
I'm
just
kind
of
running
down
issues
on
the
board
update
terminology
to
be
racially
neutral.
This
is
one
of
those
ones
that
is
a
little
too
broad
to
to
be
addressed.
However,
we've
addressed
the
lao
listen
to
nylis.
I,
as
a
recommendation
in
this
group.
A
Change
default
branches
domain.
I
believe
this
is
the
one
that
the
github
org.
A
I'm
just
going
to
put
that
little
link
in
there,
so
we
can
keep
track
of
it.
Okay,
update
test
and
integration
to
use
the
term
control
plane.
This
is
another
one
of
aaron
kirkenberger's
and
let's
just
check
where
he's
at
with
this.
C
C
A
A
A
To
close
that
issue,
I
get
the
impression
that
that
one's
done,
though
so
at
the
very
least,
I'm
pretty
sure
we
can
do
that.
B
A
A
A
A
A
Yeah,
I'm
I'm
gonna
unless
you
know,
unless
you
kind
of
want
something
kind
of
nice
and
chill
to
do
zach.
I'm
happy
to
take
this
on.
A
Okay
sounds
good,
so
I
don't
think
it's
worth
going
through
the
backlog
and
the
to
do's
just
yet,
because
I
think
there's
just
still
too
much
in
progress,
and
so,
let's
not
let's
not
pull
anything
else
up.
B
A
Okay,
my
question,
or
my
ask
of
you,
is
to
please
pr
yourself
out
on
the
way
out,
though
we
are
sad
to
see
you
go.
A
Okay,
so
there's
that
and
I
think.
A
But
it
does
sort
of
bring
up.
Another
question
which
I
again
I
was
sort
of
hoping
stephen
would
be
president
for,
which
is
that
attendance
in
this
particular
working
group
has
not
been
great.
In
the
past
few
months,
we've
had
to
cancel
meetings
because
we
haven't
had
attendance,
and
a
review
of
our
charter
is
in
order.
As
a
result
of
that
simply
put.
A
If
we
don't
sort
of
have
the
participation
to
do
the
work,
then
we
sort
of
need
to
ask
ourselves
if
the
work
is
unfortunately
worth
pursuing,
open
source
sort
of
lives
and
dies
by
who
decides
to
do
the
work
so
yeah
as
much
as
I
would
like
to
have
a
discussion
of.
Do
we
potentially
have
another
lead
who
would
like
to
step
up?
I
don't
think
we
have
the
candidates
to
do
so.
Yet:
okay,
okay,.
A
Failing
having
the
right
people
in
the
room,
I'm
going
to
put
this
on
the
agenda
for
next
meeting,
which
is
rain
or
shine.
We
have
to
review
the
charter
and
review
our
exit
criteria
and
in
many
ways
if
the
next
meetings
attendance
follows
this
meeting's
attendance
and
follows
the
past
few
months
of
attendance.
That
is
an
answer
within
itself.
A
Regardless
this
work
is
still
being
done
in
some
ways,
both
stephen
and
I
are
involved
in
the
inclusive
naming
initiative,
which
is
doing
it
at
a
much
broader
scale.
So
I
don't
think
that
this
working
group,
potentially
wrapping
up,
necessarily
means
that
the
work
doesn't
happen.
It
just
means
that
it
it
happens
in
a
slightly
different
way.
Okay,
please
pr
yourself
out
sack.
A
Okay,
with
that
said,.
