A
Hello,
everyone
and
welcome
to
the
first
contributor
sub
meeting
in
august.
There
we
go
as
a
general
reminder
to
folk
and
these
are
publicly
recorded
and
are
recorded
and
will
be
available
publicly
and
we
abide
by
the
cncf
code
of
conduct,
which
essentially
boils
down
to
please
be
excellent
to
each
other.
B
I
am,
and
one
of
them's
a
screenshot,
so
it's
not
like
a
ton
of
stuff
hi.
Everyone
upcoming
deadlines.
I
wanted
to
remind
everyone
about.
We
are
what
two
months
out
from
the
event
quickly
approaching,
so
we
are
about
to
start
hitting
a
lot
of
deadlines
as
we,
you
know,
get
closer
and
closer.
First
one
is
this
friday.
If
you
have
any
special
requests
print
signage,
please
let
me
know
by
this
friday,
we'll
have
all
the
standard
signage
covered.
B
You
know,
directionals,
room,
signage,
coveted
signage,
all
the
things
like
that
red
signage,
anything
that
falls
under
anything
we
would
typically
have.
But
if
you
have
any
specific
special
request
print
signage,
please
let
me
know
by
this
friday.
B
I
will
be
sharing
examples
of
signage
in
two
weeks.
I
believe
it
is
so.
The
print
deadline
is
the
end
of
august.
So
we
are
we're
going
full
steam
ahead
already
august.
B
16Th
is
the
deadline
to
finalize
av
requests
and
room
layouts
if
you
pop
down
to
the
room
layout
section
below
I'll
blow
it
up
for
this,
but
I
don't
want
to
leave
it
blown
up
because
it's
a
big
screenshot,
but
this
is
just
currently
what
the
room
layouts
look
like
for
your
six
through
ten
ballroom
there
are
two
screens.
One
of
them
will
be
the
like
the
regular
standard
presentation
screen
and
then
the
other
one
would
be
the
option
for
us
to
show
zoom
attendees
on
there.
B
So
the
zoom
call
or
whatever
platform
we
use
and
the
rooms
are
all
set
up
and
you
shape
with
tables
so
that,
if
folks
want
to
do
things
on
their
computer
or
join
a
call
via
their
computer,
they
can
also
do
that
as
well.
A
Okay,
I'll
be
perfect,
yeah
power
doesn't
have
to
like
every
seat
doesn't
need
power.
There
just
needs
to
be
like
enough.
Yeah.
D
Sorry,
what
about
the
cameras?
We
have
a
presentation
screen
for
zoom
as
you're,
going
to
have
a
camera
at
the
same
location
on
top
of
the
screen
or
how
we're
going
to
share
the
room
with
zoom
participants.
B
B
Right
now,
I
have
a
request
in
for
you
to
have
a
hard
line
for
each
of
these
cameras,
and
so
that
should
hopefully
dispel
issues
our
why
our
internet
team
is
talking
to
them
up,
obviously
about
the
fact
that
there
is,
I
mean
they're
talking
to
them
and
the
venue
about
the
fact
that
there's
going
to
be
a
lot
more
demand
on
internet,
but
I
don't
have
actual
numbers
to
share.
Unfortunately,.
A
C
E
E
C
My
question:
well,
I
have
two
questions.
The
person
or
you
know,
host
of
each
room,
they're
going
to
be
the
host
of
those
zoom
calls
or
whatever
platform
calls.
I
just
want
to
make
sure
that
they
have
the
ability
to
mute.
C
A
B
That's
something
all
right:
well,
that's
it
for
the
layouts,
I'm
going
to
shrink
it
back
in
size,
but
if
anyone
wants
to
look
at
it
feel
free
to
zoom
it
out
again,
it's
just
a
big
screenshot.
B
The
last
deadline
that
is
quickly
approaching
is
the
t-shirt
artwork,
which
I
know
josh
posted
about
in
the
summit
slack
and
I'm
sure
maybe
you're
going
to
mention
it
on
this
call
as
well,
but
that
needs
to
be
finalized
by
august
20th.
So
we
can
get
that
order
in
before
the
end
of
the
month
as
well.
B
Reg
form
the
reg
form
is
ready
to
go
live,
but
we
need
an
updated
cfp
link.
If
we're
going
to
leave
that
language
in
there.
Where
do
we
stand.
F
Yeah,
it's
been
a
little
crazy,
but
yes,
hopefully
end
of
day
today
there
will
be
a
cfp
link.
My
thought
is
that
if
I
don't
get
it
done
today,
I
can
send
the
link
and
have
the
form
closed.
While
we
just
finish
out
everything
and
just
say
that
that
form
will
open
next
week.
So
that's
kind
of
what
I'm
thinking
anybody
have
any
issues
with
saying
the
form
opens
next
week.
A
I
think
overall,
okay,
we
can
also
send
out.
You
know
our
general
toms
with
the
cfp
link
too,
so
I
wouldn't
be
too
worried
about.
You
know.
F
C
F
Yeah,
I
think
the
one
big
thing
that
I'm
still
trying
to
figure
out-
and
I
wanted
to
talk
with
everybody
about
this
one.
We
can
talk
about
it
later,
but
I'll
just
kind
of
pin
it
for
a
minute
later
is:
do
we
want
separate
ones
for
unconference,
because
on
conference
we
want
to
leave
open
until
like
the
week
before,
whereas
the
people
who
might
be
giving
talks
would
need
to
have
a
little
bit
more
time
to
prepare.
So
I
want
to
put
a
pin
in
that.
F
E
E
Like
it
would
be
a
question
of
you
know,
I
am
interested
in
presenting
content
at
the
contributor
summit.
You
know
with
three
options
of.
E
I'd
like
to
I'd
want
to
have
one
of
the
pre-programmed
keynotes.
I
want
to
do
an
unconference
session.
I
want
to
run
a
workshop
without
any
specifics,
and
then
we
can
pester
those
people
later
on
to
make
sure
they
fill
out
the
form.
F
I
think
that
that
might
be
good.
Yes,
please.
So
I
think
the
registration
document
is
in
the
meeting
notes
from
last
time
or
the
time
before
I'll
find
it.
I
will
add
a
quick
thing:
oh
it's
the
framework
doc,
isn't
it.
I
just
shared.
F
Okay,
I
will
remove
the
cfp
link
and
just
add
a
question
of
if
you're
interested
in
responding
to
the
cfp
when
it
opens
and
want
a
personalized
reminder.
Please
add
your
email
here
or
add
an
interest
here.
B
Moving
over
to
the
celebration,
coupon
is
no
longer
using
lucky
strike.
I
know
it
was
one
of
their
options
we
talked
about
previously.
They
have
a
lot
of
other
venues
in
the
exact
same
area
that
they
are
looking
at,
so
they
don't
need
that
one,
but
we
are
still
waiting
to
hear
back
from
them
about
the
questions
we
discussed
last
week
about
the
extra
space
and
the
monitors
and
the
things
like
that.
So
I
will
hopefully
have
answers
before
next
week's
meeting.
G
It's
paris,
hey
paris,
sorry
I
haven't
been
here.
I
actually
today.
I
have
two
quotes
coming
in
from
two
other
venues
that
I
wanted
to
see
if
you
either
have
talked
to
already-
and
I
also
wanted
to
see
from
the
group
without
what
the
group
thought
about
these
two
venues.
G
Yeah
one
of
them
is
called
rhythm
room,
los
angeles
and
the
other
one
is
called
upstairs
at
the
ace
hotel
and.
G
Both
look,
awesome
and
both,
I
think,
are
available
according
to
their
event,
managers,
and
so
we
are
talking
today
and
I
wanted
to
see
if
it
was
possible
if
we
could
consider
two
other
spaces.
B
G
Pricing
and
information
yep
when
you
get
it
yup
of
course,
yep.
I'm
just
gonna
circle
you
in
the
loop
once
I
get
it,
and
then
we
can
go
further
from
there
awesome.
B
Perfect
they
look
like
they're
a
little
bit
farther
away
from
the
venue.
Are
we
okay
with
folks
needing
to
get
cabs
or
things
like
that
ellie's
kind
of
weird?
I
don't.
I
can
ask
one
of
my
colleagues
that
lives
there
about
walking
to
them,
but
la's
kind
of
one
of
those
places
that
one
block
is
a
good
block.
One
block,
not
a
good
block,
every
other
kind
of
a
situation,
so
I
can't
guarantee
that
they're
gonna
be
best
for
walking.
G
B
So
right
now
best
practice
that
we're
trying
to
follow
as
best
we
can
is
to
avoid
transportation
or
putting
people
on
buses
because
of
covid
and
needing
to
social
distance
and
not
fill
buses
to
capacity
and
make
sure
folks,
don't
have
to
you
know,
sit
next
to
each
other
windows,
open
wearing
masks.
You
know
that
kind
of
a
whole
thing
that
may
change
between
now
and
then,
but
that's
what
we're
really
trying
to
do
this
year
as
a
best
practice.
B
For
that
reason,
because
it
means
you're
gonna
have
to
get
three
times
the
amount
of
buses
we
typically
would.
So
maybe
we
can
talk
about
that
once
we
get,
the
price
quotes
back
and
kind
of
see
what
that
looks
like
see.
If
that's
really
an
avenue,
we
want
to
go
down.
E
E
Sketchy
if
you're
in
a
group
of
20
people,
it's
not
really
an
issue
yeah
the
it's
when
people
want
to
leave,
that's
potentially
more
of
an
issue
and-
and
maybe
things
have
changed
in
the
last-
when
was
I
last
in
downtown
l.a
four
years?
Something
like
that,
but
my
experience
is
that
trying
to
get
a
cab
in
downtown
l.a,
you
know,
including
new
cabs,
like
uber,
etc,
is
always
somewhat
unreliable.
I
B
Awesome:
okay,
yeah
paris,
if
you'll
loot
me
in
for
both
of
these,
that
would
be
great
and
then
we
can
narrow
down
the
options
and
then
talk
about
the
transportation
of
things.
I'll
ask
my
colleague
too
that
lives
there
about.
I
think
that
the
ace
hotel
is
close
enough.
It
shouldn't
be
an
issue,
the
walking
distance,
but
the
rhythm
club,
one
just
what
neighborhoods
you're
walking
through
kind
of
a
thing.
J
B
E
So
linuxcon
was
there
a
few
years
ago.
What
was
that
it
was
at
l,
it
was
at
la
live,
which
is
a
couple
blocks
away
and
it
honestly
wasn't
bad
at
all.
E
A
B
Yeah
I
know
when
I
was
there
for
my
site
visit.
I
walked
pretty
close
to
it
and
I
didn't
have
a
problem.
So
I'm
less
concerned
about
the
ace
one,
it's
the
rhythm
room,
that's
a
little
bit
farther
away
than
I
think
would
be.
We
just
have
to
verify
and
it
may
be
totally
fine.
You
know
in
groups
and
stuff,
but
it's
better
to
be
safe
than
sorry.
B
B
Awesome,
the
last
thing
would
be
merch,
so
we
talked
about
the
t-shirt
artwork
earlier.
I
wanted
to
ask
about
patches.
B
C
A
A
A
G
B
E
I
A
A
Okay,
on
back
on
merch
is
there
any?
Are
you
good
at
this
point
deb
or
do
you
have
any
other
sort
of
questions
on
like
patches
or
any
other
merch
stuff.
A
E
I
don't
know
if
I
can
actually
share.
I
could
share
them
real
quickly,
because
I
just
I
would
love
to
get.
I
feel
like
we
could
make
a
decision
during
this
meeting
which
design
we
want
to
go
with,
and
then
I
could
actually
work
on
the
final
design,
particularly
because
I'll
have
to
revise
it
for
the
t-shirt
vendor,
because
I
always
do.
E
Okay,
the
okay.
E
E
C
Well,
one
thing
is,
I
could
share
my
screen
and
then
just
open
them
in
slack,
because
they're
posted.
E
E
The
let
me
find
the
slack
thread:
it's
been
a
lot
in.
I
A
E
So
I
basically
have
three
concepts
and
keep
in
mind.
These
are
not
finished
designs,
I'd
be
doing
a
little
bit
more
on
them,
but
I
don't
want
to
spend
a
whole
lot
of
fiddly
time
with
a
particular
design.
If
that's
the
one
we're
not
going
to
pick
so
one
of
the
ones.
This
is
the
one
I
discussed
with
tim.
Hawkin
is
right
here,
which
is
the
hollywood
hills
design.
E
So
you
do
it
like
the
hollywood
hills
design.
If
we're
doing
this
as
the
only
thing
for
the
shirt,
then
we
would
have
a
sky
blue
shirt
with
you
know:
green
hills
as
ink
and
and
kubernetes
there,
the
other.
E
So
that's
concept,
number
one
and
then
concept
number
two,
a
and
2b
are
based
on
the
walk
of
fame.
So
you
know
the
the
celebrity
stars
only
for
kubernetes.
E
E
You
know
final
version
of
this
would
need
sort
of
gold
outlining
and
try
to
find
some
way
to
make
a
modeled
pattern
like
the
the
fake
granite.
That
is,
the
walk
of
fame
without
adding
more
colors
to
the
shirt.
E
So
but
but
those
are
the
two
concepts
and
three
variations
that
I
have
bob's
suggestion
was
doing
the
oh
and
for
the
for
the
star
here.
That
would
be
on
a
black
shirt
the
because
the
background
of
the
squares
and
the
walk
of
fame
are
a
model
sort
of
black
and
gray.
F
F
So
that
might
help
maybe
give
it
a
shadow
almost
so
that
it
get
it
gets
that
look,
but
that
was
just
something
I'd.
I
note
about
that.
As
long
as
we
check
the
colors,
I'm
a
happy
camper,
I
do
agree
that
it
does
kind
of
give
that
south
park
vibe,
but
it
might
be
kind
of
entertaining.
F
I
do
like
the
stars
though,
but
it
might
be
expensive
to
print.
I
think
that
was
somebody
brought
that
up
on
the
thread.
F
E
E
Honestly
dealing
with
the
t-shirt
vendor
before
if
we
still
have
the
same
vendor,
the
number
of
colors
is
not
a
price
problem.
It's
a
problem
in
terms
of
the
practicality
of
the
shirt,
because
the
more
colors
you
layer,
the
more
the
more
heavy
the
sort
of
decal
on
the
shirt,
is
like.
I
actually
I'm
currently
wearing
the
one
of
the
early
cloud
native
con
shirts
and
they
made
the
mistake
of
putting
I
think,
five
colors
in
the
back,
and
I
can
really
feel
it
on
the
back.
E
It's
like
got
a
piece
of
plastic
there
so-
and
we
went
through
this
when
we
did
the
amsterdam
shirts
that
we
never
got
to
distribute
where
I
actually
had
to
get
it
down
to
four
colors,
the
so
yeah
and
that's
the
reason
for
two
colors
and
that's
the
reason
for
if
I
try
to
go
for
a
sort
of
granite
effect,
I'm
gonna
do
it
by
shadowing
and
not
by
adding
additional
colors.
A
E
E
It
was
just
the
hollywood
sign
lettering
on
a
black
shirt
and
people
got
what
it
was
so
so
that
would
also
work
right
and
then
it
would
just
be.
It
would
be
white
print
on
the
black
shirt,
so
it'd
be
nice
and
high
contrast
on
the
back.
The.
A
Oh
and
then
mars,
you
just
want
to
chime.
In
with
your
comment,
it
looks
a
little
bit
like
the
soviet
eugene
star.
D
E
D
E
Any
any
any
communist
party
countries.
E
E
H
E
E
E
Because
that's
hard
to
do
because
I
do
the
outline
and
everything
else
in
a
vector
program
and
then
any
sort
of
texturing
has
to
be
done
in
a
in
a
photo
manipulation
program,
and
I
have
to
merge
the
two
of
those
so
that
the
t-shirt
vendor
can
actually
produce
it.
So
yeah
we
can
do
a
lot
more.
It
can
be
a
lot
more
rose-colored
actually
looking
at
it,
and
that
would
probably
help
it
not
look
like
a
political
statement.
H
B
E
I
am
working,
if
I
am,
I
am
only.
I
only
have
time
to
work
on
like
finishing
one
of
these
designs,
and
so
we
basically
have
three
options
right.
We
can
go
with
the
hollywood
hills
design
on
on
a
blue
shirt.
E
You
know
and
I
can
work
on
shadowing
and
contrast
et
cetera,
or
we
can
go
with
the
walk
of
fame
design
on
a
black
shirt
and
I
can
work
on
making
it
look
more.
Obviously,
the
hollywood
walk
of
fame
or
we
can
have
a
star
in
the
front
and
just
the
hollywood
sign
lettering
on
the
back.
So
it
would
still
be
the
hollywood
sign
shirt,
but
we
will
also
add
no
hollywood
sign.
E
It
would
be
the
walk
of
fame
shirt
and
we
would
add
the
the
hollywood
sign
lettering,
just
as
a
design
on
the
back
or
as
a
text
on
the
back.
D
I
have
two
questions
question
one
question
one
is:
can
we
use
kubecon
logo
cube
control,
something
related
to
kubecon
logo
official
la
logo?
Maybe
just
put
some
extra
letters
there
to
say
that
this
is
contributor
summit
and
suck
or
maybe
add
another
signage.
And
the
second
question
is:
I
know
that
cncf
has
design
team
or
some
lock
some
graphics
designers.
I
think
linux
foundation
has
some
something
like
that.
Can
we
involve
them
too?
D
Maybe
they
could
help
us,
I'm
not
sure
if
it's
possible,
but
last
time,
I've
the
reason
I
know
this
is
because
I've
paid
for
our
meetup
logo
group
and
chris
told
me:
hey.
We
have
actually
a
design
team
and
they
can
do
it
for
you.
Basically,
so
maybe
we
can
ask
contacts,
I
can
ask
them.
I
can
actually
I
can
get
contacts
from
chris
or
some
other
okay,
so.
E
More
to
be
something
that
contributors
can
wear
for
a
long
time
and
and
not
necessarily
related
to
the
conference,
except
for
maybe
some
text
on
the
back,
so
this
is
included.
I
don't
know
if
anybody
has
on
right
now.
E
This
has
included
tim
hawkins,
various
designs
of
like
a
blueprint
of
the
kubernetes
logo
or
the
kubernetes
logo
in
old
dot,
matrix
printing,
the
or
you
know
some
of
the
other
things
because,
like
I
mean
for
me,
the
thing
is,
I
actually
do
not
own
any
shirts
that
have
a
straight
up
plain
kubernetes
logo
on
so
the
contributor
summit.
E
Shirts
are
my
shirts
for
when
I
want
to
represent
kubernetes
as
a
project
and
not
represent
the
cncf
for
red
hat
the,
and
so
that's
the
reason
why
we
are
not
using
any
of
the
show
logos.
E
We
could
obviously
change
that,
but
if
we
do
change
it,
I
would
have
to
question
why
we
have
a
separate
contributor
summit
shirt
at
all
yeah.
A
A
Thing
for
our
group
yeah,
the
other
thing
is
we
have
all.
Generally
all
our
shirts
have
been
designed
by
community
members.
E
Yeah
and
for
the
other
thing
is,
I
think
it's
totally
great
bigly.
We
pick
one
of
these
designs.
It's
totally
a
great
idea
for
me
probably
to
reach
out
to
the
cncf
design
team
if
they
have
time
which
often
they
don't
about
things
like
cleaning
it
up
and
and
making
the
design
more
professional,
because
they
can
probably
do
things
like
making
that
yellow
look
more
like
gold,
for
example,.
E
E
B
E
E
D
C
E
A
Okay,
sort
of
with
the
high
wood
side,
I
still
really
like
the
idea
of
having
like
the
bigger
sort
of
like
hollywood,
sound
in
the
background,
potentially
like
a
smaller
thing
on
the
front
of
it
all
possible.
But,
like
I
either
way,
I
think
the
things
are
leaning
much
more
towards
the
hollywood
sign.
A
F
Get
this
talk.
Sorry
yeah,
I'm
just
thinking
like
if
you,
if
we
did
want
something
on
the
front
like
it
could
just
be
a
little
thing:
yeah
in
the
same
logo.
What.
C
C
Any
goose
things
on
any
recorded
meeting,
okay.
F
H
Yes,
so
feedback
from
my
friend
in
la
says:
do
the
ace
hotel,
not
rhythm
round
okay,.
A
Okay,
are
there
any
other
comments
regarding
the
shirt
design,
merch
or
anything
like
that?.
F
I
had
to
find
my
mute
button,
so
I
have
a
list
of
people
who
responded
on
the
github
issue,
who
said
they
might
be
interested,
but
I'm
going
to
put
a
thread
up
in
the
slack
channel.
If
you
are
interested
in
being
part
of
all
the
community
content
meeting,
I
need
to
send
that
a
doodle.
So
if
you
can
just
kind
of,
let
me
know
on
that
thread
and
I'm
catching
up
with
all
that
this
week.
So
if
I
forgot
something,
if
I
forgot
you
please
poke
me,
I
apologize
in
advance.
F
C
The
the
form
is
just
going
to
be
a
google
form
correct
correct,
so
I'm
thinking
you
know,
drop
down.
What
do
you
want
to
submit
unconference
session
workshop
official
sessiony
thing?
I
can't
think
of
a
good
name
for
it,
but
essentially
we
can
make
it
very
clear
up
front.
We
are
closing
cfps
for
big.
You
know
big
sessions
by
september
1
the
date
I
don't
remember,
but
we're
closing
it
by
then
it's
a
google
form.
We
can
just
remove
that
option
on
that
date.
F
E
F
E
F
F
Probably
not,
but
I
can
you
know,
I
can
dream
that
there
will
be
enough
of
an
issue
but
yeah.
You
know,
okay.
That
was
like
my
biggest
question.
I
think,
with
content
other
than
that
I
know
I
have
people
pinging
me
already
about
the
doodle.
I
have
not
gotten
the
doodle
out,
yet
it
will
be
coming
out.
Hopefully
today
and
I
will
hopefully
have
a
couple
of
various
time
zone
friendly
things
to
send
out
so
yeah.
F
F
H
Hi
comms
bob
I
was
going
to
ask
you:
are
we.
A
A
But
com
should
just
contain
the
reg
information
reinforcing
like
who's
actually
like
who's
the
audience
for
this.
That
or
you
know,
we're
not
having
a
new
contributor
workshop
again
this
time,
let's
have
a
reinforcement
of
what
we
sent
already
and
then
potential
other
cfp
information.
H
J
A
Celebration
we
already
kind
of
talked
about
that
one.
Anyone
else
have
anything
else.
They
want
to
talk
about.
A
Cool,
we
will
call
it
there
and
I
will
talk
to
all
you
all
around
the
around
the
slacks
or
in
the
next
next
meeting.
