From YouTube: [SIG ContribEx] Weekly Marketing Meeting 20210730
Description
No description was provided for this meeting.
If this is YOUR meeting, an easy way to fix this is to add a description to your video, wherever mtngs.io found it (probably YouTube).
B
Well,
welcome
to
the
upstream
marketing
meeting
we
we
have
a
a
good
full
house
and
just
want
to
jump
right
in
and
if
I
jump
right
in,
I
mean
start
10
minutes
late
after
finding
out
that
chris
is
survived
in
the
wild
for
a
week
two
days
but
yeah
yeah,
it's
cool.
Oh,
I
thought
we
were.
You
know
elevating
the
the
drama
of
this
for
the
sake
of
marketing
there.
We
go.
B
That's
good!
What's
what's
going
on
everybody,
any
anything
up
in
your
neck
of
the
woods
that
we
should
talk
about.
C
A
C
A
A
B
Yeah,
let
me
share
my
screen
for
those
brave
enough
to
watch
after
the
fact
great
well
for
to
answer
your
question.
The
community.
B
Community,
roundup
yeah,
so
when
we
originally
wrote
that
up
the
idea
of
a
community
roundup
is
kind
of
what
are
some
things
that
have
happened
in
the
kubernetes
community
this
week
that
we
can
highlight
as
a
brief
blog
post
like
you
know,
either
shout
outs
to
people
from
the
shout
out,
channel
and
kind
of
talking
through
how
we
do
that
or
events
that
you
saw
like
going
on
in
the
larger
kubernetes
community
through
another
channel.
But
I
think
it
was
like
a
general.
B
B
And
duan
you
mentioned
something
about
node.
I
don't
have
a
link
to
it
to
date,
so
I.
B
Yeah
not
just
yet,
we
can
work
on
that.
It's
if
you
sign
up
for
the.
B
B
Okay,
so
you
made
a
copy
of
the
kind
of
guide
that
caslin
put
together
and,
like
then
customized
it
for
node.
Or
did
you
start.
C
From
scratch,
so
what
I
I
did,
what
I
did
was
I
I
looked
at
what
caslin
had
then
I
looked
at
an
existing
spotlight,
which
was
sig
windows.
I
believe,
and
then
I
kind
of
blended
those
two
and
created
a
template
of
my
own.
Let
me
try
to
see
spotlight
on
signaled.
C
C
B
C
I
found
that
in,
I
think
the
video,
so
if
you
scroll
down
at
the
bottom
yeah
in
in
that
video,
I
think
the
the
chair
they
say,
like
sig
note,
is
like
some
of
the
things
I
picked
up.
They
say
like
signature
is
a
vertical
sig
and
also
like
in
terms
of
workload
they're
like
the
third
largest
sig
in
the
number
of
prs
and
issues
they
have
with
with
a
regular
size
group.
So
that's
why
I
added
those
questions.
B
B
E
B
But
the
res
I
mean
these
are
all
super,
thoughtful
and,
and
hopefully
yeah
will
spark
a
great
conversation.
You
know
yeah.
C
Parks
do
caslin
and
others.
I
I
basically
just
reused
what
they
had.
B
That's
amazing,
so
sig
node
draft-
I
don't
know
it's
going
real
slow
for
me.
B
Oh,
it
is
that's
cool.
We
have
memorial
day
weekend
right,
no,
no
better.
B
A
The
red
hat,
like
international
calendar
for
holidays.
B
Great,
what
why
do
you
ask.
B
C
B
C
C
C
So
certainly
you
can
reach
out
to
me
and
then
sergey
said
happy
to
help
as
well.
So
and
that's
what
I
was
checking,
I
think
the
week
before
last
week
that
do
I
have
to
interview
only
one
person
or
can
it
be
like
multiple
people?
Are
you.
B
Yeah
and
then,
however,
you
want
to
weave
the
story
together,
like
you
know,
whenever
I'm
doing
interview
based
things
a
lot
of
information,
that
a
lot
of
what
I've
learned
from
doing
seo
based
content
in
the
last
few
years,
is
that
the
interview
alone,
unless
it's
a
very
big
name
in
the
industry,
doesn't
draw
much
attention.
So
the
best
kind
of
angle
is
to
pull
on
whatever
interesting
threads
come
up.
C
C
C
Yeah,
that's
that's
a
great
great
idea,
so,
for
example,
why
would
that
I
guess
the
world
be
interested
in
learning
about
them,
rather
than
the
world
being
interested
about
how
a
technical
challenge
was.
B
Yeah,
you
phrased
it
incredibly
well
exactly
it's
like,
and
it's
always
good
to
think
about
like.
Why
would
a
user
care
about
this
like
they'll
care
about
node
once
they
realize
how
important
node
is
to
kubernetes
and
foundational,
it
is
to
kubernetes,
and
I
think
you
got
to
a
really
interesting,
like
anchor
point
of
saying,
like
oh
wow,
they
have
some
of
the
most
prs
coming
in
yet
stability
so
important
to
it.
How
do
they
balance
those
two
like
there's
a
good
tension
there
to
pull
on
yeah.
B
Good
questions,
it's
a
great
point
like
the
first
thing
is
when
it
goes
out
on
either
kubernetes.io
is
where
we've
been
doing
sig
profiles,
and
there
are
a
lot
of
people
that
subscribe
to
that
and
then
syndicate
it.
So
I
think,
just
by
getting
it
to
that
channel,
you're
guaranteed
to
get
some
uplift.
B
We
then
use
the
twitter
handle.
We
started
that
while
it
doesn't
have
the
hugest
following
a
lot
of
people
with
huge
followings
retweet
us,
especially
if
we
kind
of
talk
about
their
part
of
kubernetes
or
the
parts
they're
involved
in
from
there,
it's
really
just
kind
of
organic.
It
is
the
best
where
individuals
we
recommend
tweeting.
It.
E
B
I
think
chris
does
a
great
job
of
turning
it
into
part
of
his
hobbies
too,
with
the
newsletter
you
know,
I
know
like
rich
burroughs
grabs
it
and
and
we'll
talk
about
it
in
this
podcast.
That
kind
of
stuff.
B
C
The
other
question
I
was
thinking
that,
like
the
sick
windows,
part
spotlight,
I
saw
it
was
maybe
quite
a
while
ago
and
then
now
we're
focusing
on
signals.
So
do
we
have
a
plan
for
like
regular
cadence
on
how
frequent
we
do,
or
this
is
like
more
ad
hoc
and
and
the
sub
part
of
that
question
is
what
are
the
different
types
of
let's
say,
contents
or
blogs
or
interviews
like?
Are
there
different
categories
with
different
frequencies
that
we
have
a
structure
planned
that,
like
every
month
or
every
other
month?
B
Yeah
that
so
the
the
two
categorical
ones
that
we've
been
trying
to
do
were
sig
sig
profiles,
so
like
focus
in
on
a
sig
on
a
rotational
basis
get
through
all
cigs
in
you
know,
we
aspirationally
said
we'd
get
through
one
a
week
for
and
kind
of,
rotate
back
through
and
there's
so
many
we'd
cover,
maybe
them
twice
a
year
I
mean-
and
that
was
just
unsustainable
from
a
contributor
point
of
view
like
so
if
we
switch
to
an
ad
hoc
basis
of
when
somebody
comes
to
the
team
and
says
like
I'd
like
to
work
on
something,
the
default
answer
is:
do
a
sig
profile
because
it'll
help
you
navigate
around
kubernetes,
which
is
healthy
and
it'll,
help
raise
awareness
of
a
sig
that
could
benefit
from
the
awareness
because
then
it'll
attract
new
contributors
to
them,
so
we've
kind
of
gone
into
instead
of
a
like
push
or
cadence
based
model.
B
It's
a
poll,
one
we're
like
somebody's
here,
there's
always
more.
We
could
talk
about.
We
could,
if
all
of
us
got
paid
full-time,
to
write
just
about
kubernetes.
We
could
do
this
every
day
and
it'd
be
amazing,
but
I
think
we
do
a
pretty
pretty
darn
good
job
with
like
this
as
time
allows
like
we
write
it
up,
so
take
it
opportunistically
for
the
sake
of
everyone's
kind
of
day-to-day
respecting
the
day-to-day
life,
but
yeah.
The
profiles
are
by
default.
B
Another
thing
we
we
started
last
year
that
was
going
really
well,
is
like
what
brought
you
to
be
a
kubernetes
contributor
like
more
of
a
personal
story,
and
those
are
always
welcome
and
found
are
really
good.
Narratives,
like
they
end
up
helping
people
realize
that
they
should
be
here.
They
they
could
be
welcome
here
we
haven't
done
one
of
those
in
a
while,
but
I
think
those
are
the
two
defaults.
I've
been
thinking
of
any
anything
you
two
would
add.
A
E
D
C
D
I
did
I
did
a
spotlight
on
usability,
so
if
you
need
any
like
help,
I
reached
out
to
jason.
He
helped
me
quite
a
lot
from
linker
d,
so
you
can
try
reaching
out
to
him
as
well.
C
Yeah,
I
I
went
over
that
thanks
so
much
kunal.
Actually,
the
the
last
point
where,
like
sig
x,
published
a
blog
or
a
video,
I
got
that
idea
from.
I
think
your
sick
usability
spotlight,
because
you
had
that
sick
usability
did.
I
think
it
was
one
of
the
kubecon
videos
yep.
So
thanks
thanks
for
that.
B
A
Yeah
I
have
two
friends
grammarly
and
hemingway
editor.
Those
are
the
very
minimum
number
of
people
that
will
look
at
my
stuff
yeah.
B
D
B
That's
super
fun:
okay,
cool,
okay,
anything
else!
You
need
any
more
support.
You
need
through
sig
nota,
this
time
like
you're
you're.
I.
C
Think
at
this
point
yeah,
I
think
this
point,
I'm
good.
What
I'm
gonna
do
is
I'll
I'll
create.
Well,
I
think
let
is
it
okay,
if
I
share
the
the
hack
md
with
with
like
the
people,
I'm
going
to
interview
or.
C
B
B
Just
writing
it
down
themselves
because
they're
they're,
less
vocal
when,
when
they're
thinking,
so
I
think
acknowledging
that
with
people
like
hey,
if
you
prefer
to
write
it
down
here,
you
go
if
you
would
rather
just
have
a
conversation,
I'll
write
down
what
you
say,
giving
them
that
option
up
front
like
I
found
that
to
be
effective
but
yeah.
You
can
share
that
and
I
think
a
lot
of
people
like
writing
in
markdown
versus
google
docs,
so
yeah,
okay,
you
should.
C
B
A
It's
a
lot
to
do
in
github
by
itself
right.
Yes,
my
article,
I
think,
showed
us
that
in
spades
it
was
just
like
a
lot
of
like
hey.
Could
you
tweak
this
hey?
Could
you
tweak
that-
and
it
was
one
of
those
things
where
it's
like
boy
this
would
this
would
have
been
easier
as
just
markdown,
or
you
know,
google
doc
somewhere.
E
Hey,
who
are
you
interviewing
from
sig
note
again
like
who's
on
your
list.
C
C
E
A
B
C
B
And
interest
that
you
lean
into
and
I'm
obsessed
with
it,
I
think
it's
so
fascinating.
That's
why
I'm
doing
what
I'm
doing
so
anywho
yeah
that
sounds
great
you're.
I
love
how
you
added
some
structure
on
top
and
thanks
for
you
know,
helping
us
improve
the
process
along
the
way.
So
one.
B
Yeah
cool
all
right
he's
not
here,
but
I
just
wanted
to
add
a
link
to
it.
I
made
a
like
a
simple
cube
videos
backlog
for
bart
and
he
knows
it
by
a
dm.
You
know
he's
got
a
bunch
of
cool
videos
in
progress,
but
didn't
we.
It
was
tough
to
keep
track
of
where
it
was
status.
Wise.
If
you
also
can
all.
I
know
you
are
thinking
a
lot
about.
D
Bart
mentioned
bart
mentioned
to
me,
and
I
had
a
one-on-one
with
him
today,
so
he
was
actually
looking
for
people
he
can
interview.
So
if
anyone
has
any
anyone,
you
can
reach
out
to
yeah,
but
I'm
doing
one
on,
like
you
know
the
one
I
mentioned
yeah
a
video
on
every
single
sig
I'll,
be
doing
that.
That's.
B
So
cool,
if
you,
if
it
is
helpful
to
you
as
well
or
and
especially
when
you're
collaborating
with
bart
it'd,
be
helpful
for
me,
if
you
add
like
them
to
this
backlog
and
adjust
the
backlog
as
you
need,
I
just
tried
to
make
something
that
I
think
would
help
keep
track
of
it,
so
that
we
make
sure
we
don't
just
record
it,
but
then
we
record
it
and
then
edit
it
and
then
upload
it
and
then
share
it
because
that's
where
things
tend
to
drop
and
that's
honestly,
that's
what
I
do
for
this
team
is
like
just
trying
to
keep
us
moving.
B
B
Cool
we
can
add
that
for
another
step,
yeah
like
review,
you
know,
wrap.
B
Yeah
cool
all
right,
all
I
need
to
drop,
but
I'll
pass
the
mic
to
chris
bob.
You
run
more
than
enough
meeting
meetings
so
good
to
see
you
all
have
a
good
rest
of
your
friday.
You
too
take
it
easy
later.
E
Bye,
as
I
said
on
the
blog
note,
if
you
want
like
a
quick
and
easy
way
to
do
it,
you
can
sort
of
do
what
like
the
kubernetes
podcast
from
google,
does
and
basically
just
do
a
transcription.
A
E
A
Write
it
all
up,
but
yeah
don't
hesitate
to
ask
people
if
you
can
record
the
conversation
so
that
you
can
run.
E
C
E
A
So
we
talked
did
we
talk
about
improvements
already
updates
work
in
progress,
so,
like
my
multi-cloud,
our
multi-clusters
profile
is
just
like
I
said
sitting
there.
I
need
to
write
it
on
a
busy
week
with
power
being
out
for
two
days
for
the
weekend,
so
I
didn't
really
have
any
time
to
do
anything
with
it.
So.
A
Anything
else
bob,
I
think,
comms
for
contributor
summit.
E
Okay,
the
website
has
also
been
updated
with
a
lot
more
information,
I
would
not
send
comms
out
until
we
actually
update
the
site
with
the
red,
like
the
edge
links
and
all
that,
but
that
shouldn't
be
too
bad
like
it's
not
saying,
hey,
reg
is
open
right,
please,
the
only
other
potential
thing
in
that
email
would
be.
E
E
Well,
we
again
are
focusing
on
unconference.
If
people
know
they
will
be
there
and
we
like
having
at
least
some
content,
some
like
pre-planned
content
would
be
would
be
useful.
E
Right,
no
one,
I'm
sorry,
I'm
I
am
starts
with
an
s
worked
at
log
in
a
oh
nemo.
A
A
A
A
Wow,
okay,
cool-
I
mean
I
don't
have
anything
else
to
you.
Bob.
A
No
call
it
a
wrap,
I
think
that's
it
cute.
Let
me
stop
recording
off
to
the
cloud
you
go.
