From YouTube: K8s SIG Docs meeting for 20220920
Description
No description was provided for this meeting.
If this is YOUR meeting, an easy way to fix this is to add a description to your video, wherever mtngs.io found it (probably YouTube).
A
Hey
folks,
welcome
to
to
today's
sick
docs
meeting
today
is
September
20th
2022.
I'm
your
host.
Today,
my
name
is
Ray
lajano
I'm,
one
of
the
co-chairs
for
Sig
docs,
a
few
things
before
we
start.
We
are
a
cncf
Cuban
meeting
for
kubernetes,
so
we
do
abide
by
the
code
of
conduct
which
boils
down
to
to
be
kind
and
to
each
other,
and
also
another
note
that
this
meeting
is
recorded
and
uploaded
to
YouTube.
A
So
be
mindful
what
you
say
so
as
usual,
we
like
to
start
off
to
say
hello
to
new
contributors,
so
I'll
just
give
a
few
moments
here.
If
there's
any
new
contributors
that
want
to
introduce
themselves,
please
feel
free
to
introduce
yourself
here.
If
you
want
to.
B
Hello,
maybe
I
can
quickly
introduce
myself
turn
on
the
camera.
Wait,
hello,
hi,
I'm,
I'm,
Leo
I'm,
usually
at
Sig
release
around
currently
1.26
release
lead
just
checking
in
and
see
how
everything
is
going
and
hopefully
we
will
have
a
Smooth
release.
I
think
Caroline,
it's
not
here.
So
the
release
dogs
bleed
for
1.26,
but
I.
Think
right
now
everything
is
looking
good.
Tomorrow
we
will
have
a
meeting,
then
we
will
also
have
a
like,
like
a
status
status
screen
or
status,
yellow
or
anything.
So
thank.
A
You
Leo
all
right.
I'm
gonna
share
my
screen
here.
Anyone
else
that
would
like
to
introduce
themselves.
A
All
right
so
just
to
start
things
off,
updates
and
reminders.
This
week's
PR
WR
Wrangler
is
Karen
Bradshaw,
with
my
hair,
tardy
shadowing
I.
Think
Maya
is
on
the
zoom
call
here
and
Karen
introduced
themselves
on.
The
slack
is
a
PR
R
render.
So
if
you
have
any
issue,
if
you
have
any
PRS,
you
want
to
be
reviewed
this
week,
just
ping
KB
hockey
on
your
PR
there's
a
link
to
the
pr
ringer
shift.
A
So
just
a
reminder
for,
for
those
just
take
a
look
at
the
schedule.
First
topic
is
the
on
agenda.
As
usual.
Is
the
release
update
for
at
least
1.26?
So
it's
very
early
on
in
the
release.
Let
me
just
make
sure
I,
don't
see,
make
sure
curls,
okay,
there's
anyone
on
the
release
team
who's
on
the
either
one
that
roll
leads
or
Shadows
I
know
Leo
already
introduce
themselves,
there's
any
Dark
Shadows
that
would
like
to
introduce
themselves
or
comp
Shadows.
A
That
would
like
to
introduce
themselves
feel
free,
go
ahead.
C
A
C
Oh
okay,
so
hi
everyone,
I
am
Diva.
Brother
I
am
the
calm
Shadow,
or
this
is
my
third
time
in
the
release
team
and
with
the
same
forms
team.
So
you
have
to
say
hi
to
Urban
India.
We
all
need
help
from
comp.
Basically
like
com
Steven
need
help
from
the
docs
and
reviews
during
the
end
of
the
cycle,
and
this
time
we
realize
how
important
you
know.
C
On-Time
reviews
are
for
our
blogs
because
we
had
15
feature
blogs
and
tracking
everything
without
help
of
dogs
is
not
possible
for
us.
So
here
looking
for
help
and
suggestions
from
our
docs
team.
If
any
way,
you
could
think
that
that
if
you
process
could
be
made
more
automated
or
optimized
for
reviewers,
so
yeah
suggestions
are
welcome.
D
Oh
I
just
wanted
to
say
if
there's
an
opportunity
for
me
to
Shadow
PR
WR
Wrangler
next
week,
I'd
like
to
to
do
that.
A
Yeah
I
will
ping
you
offline
after
this.
D
A
Thanks
all
right
so
just
want
to
review
some
key
dates,
so
sick
docs
Works
closely
with
the
release
team
each
cycle,
because
there
are
updates
to
the
documentation
for
each
release
and
also
there's
featured
blogs
as
well,
and
the
blogs
is
a
sub-project
of
Sig
docs,
and
so
it's
a
kubernetes.io
website.
So
any
document
changes
changes
goes
into
the
development
branch
on
K
website,
so
just
highlight
some
key
dates
from
this
123
126
really
schedule.
The
link
is
on
the
agenda.
The
first
key
date
is
October
6th
enhancements
for
use.
A
Then
the
feature
block,
freeze,
November
1st,
the
real
key
first
key
major
deadline
for
that's
involved
with
Sig
docs
is
definitely
the
November
10th
docs
placeholder
PR
deadline,
so
Sig
docs
Works
closely
with
the
comms
team
and
with
the
docs
team
on
the
release
team,
so
docs
placeholder
PR
deadline.
That
means
that
there
has
to
be
a
placeholder
PR
for
any
document,
any
any
enhancements
they're
going
to
to
the
release
that
needs
documentation,
updates
and
also
we
do
have
in
the
November
10th.
A
The
deprecations
and
removals
blog
is
set
to
be
published
that
we
work
closely
with
the
comms
team
on
so
each
release
cycle,
starting
about
I,
think
122.
We
do
release
before
the
official
release
a
Blog
posting
about
what
are
the
upcoming
deprecations
and
removals
so
end.
Users
are
well
aware:
what
is,
if
there's
any
big
changes
coming
up?
The
next
number
number
November
15th,
the
doc
PRS
are
ready
for
video
deadline,
then
November
29,
all
docs
already
are
complaints
and
merge.
A
Feature
blocks
are
ready
to
reveal
also
on
November,
29th
and
December
6th
is
the
targeted
126
release
dates,
so
any
comments
or
questions.
A
All
right,
moving
on
to
issues
in
PRS
I
do
want
to
make
a
note,
though,
that
usually
the
first
half
of
the
Willing
cycle,
the
docs
team
and
the
comms
team
are
tends
to
be
pretty
quiet
until
we
reach
in
code
freeze,
and
then
we
have
the
first
kind
of
set
up,
Milestones,
Trigger
or
follow
after
after
code
freeze,
all
right.
Moving
on
to
issues
and
PR's
here,
there's
one
from
Tim
banister.
A
This
is
so
we
have
a
banner
set
to
be
released
for
coupon
ending
and
the
cncf
has
asked
to
remove
to
actually
publish
that
banister
earlier
than
it.
What
is
usually
what
is
now
scheduled,
so
this
PR
is
open.
Has
it
has
lgtm
has
approvals,
it's
waiting
on
for
more
visibility
on
the
steering
committee.
Any
kind
of
banner
needs
approval
from
the
commit
from
the
steering
committee,
so
this
has
a
hold
it's
waiting
on
for
the
steering
committee
to
approve
and
then
hold
any
comments
or
questions
on
that.
A
So
next
one
is
also
from
Tim
Bannister.
This
is
an
issue.
It's
not
a
pull
request
gets
so
if
anyone
would
like
to
work
on,
this
issue
feel
free
to
check
out
this
issue
on
GitHub
and
assign
yourself.
So
this
is
about
this,
the
sidebar
menu
for
any
kind
of
viewpoints
that
sidebar
is
actually
gone,
so
so
so
this,
if
is
a
great
issue
to
work
on,
if
you're,
if
you're,
if
you're
familiar
with
this,
please
take
a
look
at
that
issue.
That
is
36589.
A
Next
one
is
just
general,
and
this
is
from
slack
that
might
have
brought
up
about
kinds
issues
with
we.
We
sometimes
we
get
issues
created
that
are
more
of
support
related
issues,
so
we
label
them
with
the
kind
support
from
our
documentation
from
the
websites.
We
do
see
that
we
do
close
these
issue.
We
do
close
these
issues
with
kind
support
after
enough
time,
after
some
clarification
by
the
issue
author,
some
things
might
actually
be
true.
A
Like
I
saw
one,
there
was
a
kind
support,
but
it's
about
about
publish
about
launching
the
docs
locally,
as
a
development
process
of
that,
as
actually
is,
is
I.
Think
that
would
be
a
valid
issue,
because
that's
more
that
is
really
related
to
the
K
website
repository.
A
So
this
one
yeah,
we'll
just
we'll
just
take
a
look
in
triage
issues
and
we'll
close
issues
that
are
that
that
are
truly
are
more
support,
related
issues
and
we'll
direct
them
to
other
sources
like
to
slack
there's
a
kubernetes
users
channel
to
stack
Overflow
or
to
other
other
available
avenues
that
are
better
suited
for
for
to
ask
support
questions.
A
Next
one
I
just
found
this
out
looks
like
search
on
kubernetes
dots
IO
is
not
working,
so
this
has
been
running
so
I'll
follow
an
issue
on
this,
so
just
folks,
just
a
heads
up
and
also
if
anyone
would
also
just
to
like
take
a
look
as
well.
If
there
are
any
folks
are
not
seeing
the
same
issue
or
folks
or
seeing
the
same
issue,
please
let
me
know.
A
A
That
that
is
right,
I
have
been
only
oh.
This
just
happened
while
I
started
at
the
zoo.
E
Okay,
I
just
wanted
to
point
out
I.
Think
Tim
has
a
PR
open
to
fix
a
sidebar,
rendering
issue
I'm
ready,
but.
A
E
Anyone
has
any
ideas
or
want
to
like
the
comment
or
review
this
I
think
it
needs
reviews.
So
it's
a
minor
change.
A
All
right,
Chris
negus,
also
said
no
problem
with
search,
so
it
looks
like
just
my
it's
probably
my
issue
with
zoom
next
issue
or
PR
is
from
Abby
about
overlapping
weights.
Did
see
this
on
slack
and
it's
it's.
It
is
causing
some
issue
with
the
pages
being
brought
up
all
right.
E
Yes,
so
the
Korean
localization
team
noticed
this.
When
we
are
organizing
content,
we
do
that
normally
through
Page
weights
within
the
the
top
of
each
page,
but
with
a
lot
of
the
English
language
content.
It's
the
pages.
The
page
weights
are
the
same,
and
then
we
just
rely
on
alphabetic
Alpha,
the
alphabet
correctly
authorizing
ordering
things.
But
when
we
trans,
we
translate
things
into
different
languages,
the
the
alphabet,
you
know
it's
different
and
the
the
first
letter
is
is
different,
so
the
ordering
is
is
different.
E
So
the
ask
here
is
just
to
you
know,
bring
these
to
the
meeting,
bring
the
awareness
to
when
you're
working
on
content
in
English
to
make
sure
that
Pages
have
their
own
page
weight,
and
we
did
also
add
a
note
into
the
contributor
docs
to
call
out
the
fact
that
each
page
should
have
its
own
distinct
weight
so
that
the
ordering
is
always
correct,
regardless
of
where
whatever
locals
happens.
A
Yeah
I
think
that
would
definitely
make
it
easier
for
the
localization
teams
to
follow
us
if
we
make,
if
we're
mindful
of
the
weights
instead
of
allowing
the
alpha
sort
to
to
take
place
all
right.
Well,
thank
you
very
much
for
that.
A
E
Yeah
we
we
actually
could
that
that
might
be
a
good
candidate.
If
we
wanted
to
do
something
like
that
in
a
future
doc
Sprint
when
we
chatted
about
it
on
the
localization
meeting,
we
sort
of
thought
about
it
as
a
when
page
weight
was
needed
to
show
ordering
and
like
a
tutorial
or
something
we,
the
page
weights
are
correctly
there.
So
the
order
ordering
continues
throughout
the
localization.
E
So
we
didn't
really
notice
it
being
a
big
issue
where
it
would
impact
users,
readability
in
other
localizations,
where
the
page
weights
were
the
same.
So
we
were
working
on
adding
in
the
note
to
make
sure
that
we
did
that
on
all
future
pages
and
then
possibly
adding
like
a
test
or
something
when
you
had
a
PR
that
had
and
it
showed
an
overlapping
weight
so
that
we'd
be
able
to
change
it
more.
E
As
PR's
happened
on
a
page
on
a
page,
we
didn't
necessarily
think
it
was
something
that
we
needed
to
address,
but
that
could
be
a
good
idea
in
the
doc
Sprint
to
to
address
it.
Yeah
look.
A
A
All
right,
thank
you,
Abby
any
comments
or
questions.
A
All
right,
moving
on
to
the
questions
and
discussion
points.
Do
you
want
to
make
a
note
that
the
Sig
docs
blog
meeting
Series
has
been
removed
so
we're
asking
for
any
blog
related
topics?
We
brought
here
on
the
sigdox
zoom
meeting
or
in
the
slack
async
meeting
they're,
both
bi-weekly
or
the
slack
threads,
and
also
there's
a
Sig
docs
blog
slack
Channel
as
well.
There's
any
issues
that
that
needs
to
come
up
for
for
blogs.
A
A
All
right,
my
next
topic
is
for
me:
there
is
a
kubernetes
contributor
Summit
that
will
take
place
in
person
on
Monday
October
24th.
That
is
the
week
of
coupons,
the
Monday
of
that
coupon
week.
It
is
in
person
only
there's,
no
virtual
portion
or
virtual
version
of
the
contributor
Summit.
A
What
and
a
part
of
the
contributor
Summit
is,
will
be
a
doc
Sprint,
so
if
they
saved
a
room
for
us
and
the
contributor
Summit
for
it,
so
we
could
help
so
we
could
hold
a
doc
spread
and
we're
coming
up
with
some
ideas.
Abby
ping
me
about
some
some
doc
Sprint
ideas,
so
we're
started
to
formulate
you
know
bring
this
more
up
on
the
docs
slack
Channel.
A
But
one
of
the
first
things
that
we
talked
about-
or
we
talked
about
just
a
few
minutes
ago-
was
about
page
weights.
It
might
be
a
good
Sprint
to
take
to
tackle
the
page
weights,
so
we
could
do
it
all.
You
know
in
one
Sprints
all
in
one
day
and
get
that
sorted,
and
so
that
will
benefit
all
the
localization
teams.
A
A
A
In
the
air,
the
schedule
hasn't
been
formulated.
I
know
we
do
have
the
room,
though,
for
pretty
much
all
day
just
for
the
doc
Sprint,
but
we
don't
have
a
time
yet
just
because
the
other
part
of
the
programs
haven't
been
scheduled.
Yet
that's
just
talk
so
there's
a
cfp
out.
If
you
want
to
to
give
a
talk
at
the
at
the
contributor
Summit,
there's
an
awards
section
as
well,
which
so
there's
awards
that
would
be
given
out
as
well.
A
So
there
those
haven't
been
settled
yet
so,
once
those
are
once
everything's
been
settled,
we'll
we'll
set
a
time
to
it,
yeah
so
I'll,
post
that
on
the
sigdox
channel.
When
that
is
available,
we
also
have
the
option
to
do
Sig
docs
meeting
on
the
Tuesday,
because
we
they
save
the
rooms
they
they
do
have.
They
did
save
the
room.
A
If
you
want
to
have
a
Sig
meeting
on
that,
Tuesday
of
the
of
the
of
coupon
I
did
not
submit
one
just
because
we'll
have
the
doc
Sprint
on
Monday
anyway,
so,
and
that
is
pretty
much
more
or
less
a
Sig
docs
meeting
as
well.
So
but
if
folks
do
want
to
meet
just,
let
me
know
when
we
get
out,
we
could
ask
for
a
room
on
Tuesday.
A
All
right
also
continuing
on
the
kubecon
week.
There
will
be
a
Sig
meet
and
greet
as
well
during
that
hasn't
been
scheduled
yet
and
that's
going
to
be
either
on
Wednesday
Thursday
Friday
of
coupon
week.
So
that's
to
be
determined
on
the
time
and
location.
A
A
All
right,
so
that
brings
us
to
the
end
of
the
agenda
any
can't
you
leave
it
open
for
that's
an
open
Forum.
So
if
anyone
has
any
other
open
topics
that
they
want
to,
discuss,
feel
free
and
go
ahead.
D
I
just
wanted
to
say:
I'm
really
I
was
really
hoping
to
at
least
have
recordings
of
the
contributor
Summit
that
I
could
listen
in
on.
Do
you
know
if
it's
going
to
be
recorded,
I.
A
Don't
know
if
it's
cornbread
recorded
I
know
there
are
some
things
that
have
been
added,
that's
been
so
this
is
actually
my
first
YouTuber
Summit.
They
had
one
in
the
EU
there's
they
are.
There
are
some
changes
to
it
like
we'll
make
sure
that
we
assigned
a
note
taker,
no
takers
for
for
the
sessions,
especially
for
like
this,
a
Sega
appropriate
meetings,
so
those
points
are
are
and
that
we
could
take
those
away
and
come
back
to
them.
But
I
don't
know
if
it's
going
to
record
it
or
not.
B
Last
last
contributor
Summit,
we
didn't
had
any
recordings,
just
meeting
meeting
notes,
but
the
meeting
notes
like
depending
on
obviously
the
session,
but
some
were
quite
good.
So
maybe
just
everything
the
notes
you
can
stay
up
to
date,
but
yeah,
maybe.
D
D
Yeah
I
I
guess
I
would
I'm
spoiled
from
you
know
two
and
a
half
years
of
pandemic
and
everything
being
virtual
and
online
I
really
wish
that
I
could
attend
virtually
or
in
a
hybrid
fashion.
I
would
encourage
us
to
to
do
that.
It's
it's
more
inclusive.
It
lets
people
contributors
from
all
over
the
world
participate
and
it's
also
friendlier
to
the
environment.
So
if
we
could
keep
that
in
mind
for
next
time,
that
would
be
nice.
A
Yeah
definitely
keep
that
in
mind
for
next
time.
On
this
I
know,
for
the
the
meeting
notes
are
going
to
be
more
I,
guess
more
standardized
or
formalized,
they
are
creating
Google
Docs
that
folks
will
have
beforehand
so
that
and
could
follow
and
could
share
and
before
you
know,
before
the
meetings
or
the
talks
actually
start
as
well.
I
know
there
have
been
talks
about
recording
I,
don't
know
what
the
final
decision
is
on
the
which
sessions
will
be
recorded
and
if
there
are
or
if
any
sessions
will
be
recorded
on
that.
A
So
all
right
I'll
take.
Thank
you
very
much
for
your
inputs
and
that's
I.
F
Go
ahead,
one
other
small
suggestion
talking
about
the
doc
Sprint
so
generally
you're
going
to
be
looking
for
things
that
people
could
do
like
their
first
PR's
on
right,
simple
changes
that
kind
of
what
you're
thinking.
A
Well
initially,
so
there
is
no
new
contributor
portion
of
so
there.
In
the
past,
there's
been
a
new
contributor
portion
for
the
consumer
Summit,
but
it's
changed
in
the
sense
that
there
has
been
good
traction
for
those
new
contributors
haven't
led
to
like
long-standing
contributors.
So
it's
it's.
There
will
be
some
new
some
new
issues
that
will
be
like
easy
fixes,
but
we're
kind
of
thinking
more
like
so
these
so
folks
attending
the
contributor
Summit
already
contributors.
A
So
it's
folks
who
aren't
exactly
new
contributors,
they're
already
org
members,
that's
one
one
of
their
pre
prereqs
to
going
to
the
contributor
Summits
is
being
an
org
member,
so
there
will
be
some,
but
it
won't
be
the
focus
of
the
doc
Sprints,
so
it'll
be
kind
of
like
there
might
be
a
theme
so
I
think
in
EU
they
talked
about
doing
mermaid,
diagrams
or
reviewing
mermaid
diagrams
and
how
to
do
mermaid
diagrams
I
know
that
was
brought
up.
I,
don't
I!
A
Don't
since
I
wasn't
there
I,
don't
know
what
was
actually
talked
about
during
the
during
that
doc.
Sprint
for
this
one,
like
page
weights,
might
be
going
to
tackle.
If
there's
a
good
number
of
of
contributors
to
Sig
docs,
then
we
just
all
tackle
page
weights.
We
could,
you
know
finish
the
English
sites
rather
shortly
versus
doing
async.
A
So
there's
so
some
aspects
will
be
new
new
PRS
new
contributors,
but
the
majority
will
be
some
enough.
Something
else
for
established
contributors,
so.
F
F
Just
so
that
there
was
a
PR
to
change
a
title
to
title
instead
of
sentence,
capitalizations
so
and
then
so
I
looked
at
and
I
said
well,
I
thought
we
did
everything
in
sentence
capitalizations.
But
apparently
we
mostly
do
titles
in
title
capitalization,
but
it's
inconsistent,
and
so
that
would
be
something
you
probably.
We
could
probably
find
20
or
30
of
them
still
to
to
fix
so
yeah.
So.
A
I'm
watching
a
lot
yeah
yeah,
yeah
yeah,
so
that's
tackled
in
the
front
matter
for
the
page,
the
front
matter,
that's
the
very
top
portion
of
the
markdown.
So
that's
something
that
we
we
can.
We
can
tackle
as
well.
It's.
