From YouTube: SIG Docs meeting for 20211005
Description
No description was provided for this meeting.
If this is YOUR meeting, an easy way to fix this is to add a description to your video, wherever mtngs.io found it (probably YouTube).
A
And
we
are
live
so
hey
folks
today
is
fifth
october,
and
this
is
the
sick
dogs
by
weekly
meeting.
I
am
her
aarsh
and
I
will
be
hosting
this
meeting
and
we
have
a
relatively
short
agenda,
so
I
think
we
can
dive
right
in
first
for
the
updates.
I
would
like
to
welcome
officially
now,
as
the
sig
docs
co-chair,
so.
B
Thank
you.
I
don't
think
I
have
anything
to
say,
except
that
I
look
forward
to
working
with
all
of
you
so
yeah.
Thank
you.
Thank
you,
for
you
know
supporting
my
nomination.
Thank
you.
A
That
is
true
and
other
than
that
for
this
week,
taylor
is
the
pr
angler,
and
next
week
I
believe,
is
kubecon.
So
we
do
not
need
to
worry
about
that,
but
for
the
week
after
kubecon
we
do
not
have
a
peer
pr
wrangler.
So
if
any
of
any
approvers
are
on
this
call-
and
they
would
like
to
sign
up
for
that-
please
do
so
by
going
on
the
pr
angler
shifts
link
moving
on
to
the
agenda.
E
Sure
yeah-
I
just
went
through
all
my
my
issues
this
morning,
but
I
didn't
go
through
everyone's,
but
I
can
go.
Look.
I'm
looking
at
the
chart
right
now
and
looks
like
we're
still
green.
I
see
that
we
are
tracking
57
issues
and
basically
we
have
set
out
to
notices
everybody.
To
put.
Am
I
talking
too
fast,
someone's
taking
notes?
Okay,
let's
I'll
go
a
little
slower.
E
We
are
green
for
the
one
two
three
1.23
release.
We
are
tracking
57
issues.
E
We
have
contacted
basically
everyone
who
has
an
outstanding
cap
and
we've
determined,
which
ones
need
documentation
which
ones
don't
and
we've
requested
that
they
they
create
blank
pull
requests
for
them
to
start
filling
in.
Basically,
there's
nothing,
no
blockers
right
now,
just
kind
of
waiting
for
everyone
to
start
putting
their
information.
In
anything
else.
You
want
to
add
to
that
nate
nate's.
Also
on
the
release
team.
E
D
Right
now,
I'm
a
little
behind.
I
was
at
the
oss
last
week,
so
my
I
I
would
just
look
at
the
at
the
chart
that
so
I
don't
have
anything
to
add.
Thank
you.
E
Okay,
but
generally
we're
in
good
shape
right
now
we
have
to
generally
what
they
do.
Is
they
rush
it
at
the
last
minute
and
they
they
do
their
pr's
so,
but
we
have
another
a
week
or
two
before
before
a
couple
weeks
before
that's
needed,
that's
about
it.
A
Thank
you
for
the
update
chris
and
it
it's
cool
that
everything
is
on
track.
I
don't
think
we
have
anything
yeah.
We
are
done
with
the
release
team.
So
with
the
issues
and
pr's,
there
wasn't
much,
but
I
just
like
wanted
to
point
out
this
one
big
pr
which
got
merged
and
thanks
to
everyone
who
helped
to
review
this,
including
tim,
shannon
ray
it
had
like
200
discussions,
and
it
was
a
pretty
big
blog
post.
So
just
wanted
to
call
this
out.
A
And
moving
to
the
discussion
topics,
one
thing
I
didn't
want
to
discuss
was
that,
right
now,
as
of
now
that
as
sick
dogs,
we
do
not
apply
if
a
contributor
wants
to
make
changes
to
blog
posts
which
are
over
two
years
old.
We
do
not
generally
do
that,
and
but
still
we
see
that
prs
keep
coming
in
where
authors
are
trying
to
update
these
blog
posts.
A
So
there
was
a
slack
thread
where
there
was
a
discussion
between,
I
believe
tim
and
bob
about
how
we
can
automate
this,
maybe
using
brow
to
add
a
labels
to
such
pr's.
A
D
Sorry,
it
was,
I
was
quite,
I
just
wanted
to
add
a
plus
one
on
that.
I
think
that
we
have.
We
have
processes
and
and
policies
in
place,
and
I
think
they're
good
and
it's
likely
good
to
follow
them.
So
if
we
can
automate
some
of
the
reminders,
that
would
be
fantastic.
A
Yep
the
last
item
on
the
agenda
officially,
is
that
next
week
is
kubecon
and
just
some
sick
dogs
related
updates
regarding
it
was
that,
like
we
had
a
dog
sprain
plan,
which
has
now
been
cancelled
due
to
attendance
being
low,
because
a
lot
of
folks
are
attending
virtually
because
of
country
restrictions
on
international
travelers.
A
But
for
those
of
you
who
are
going
to
be
in
person,
there
is
the
sig
meet
and
greet
on
october
13th,
and
you
can
meet
folks
from
sick
dogs
there.
Other
than
that
we
are.
We
also
have
the
sick
dogs
deep
dive,
which
is
also
on
13th
october
5,
25
mpdt.
So
is
anyone
on
this
call
planning
to
attend
in
person.
A
D
And
chris
tim
chris
metz,
so
as
as
am
I
oh
that's
cool,
I
think
there's
a
few
folks
on
this,
call
that
we
should
see
in
the
hallways
down
to
kubecon
looking
forward
to
it.
F
E
A
Looking
forward
to
it
and
we'll
watch
the
live
stream
yeah,
so
this
was
it
for
the
agenda.
We
had
a
short
agenda
other
than
that
something
I
forgot
to
do
at
the
start.
Are
there
any
new
contributors
on
the
call
who
would
like
to
introduce
themselves.
G
A
G
C
We
have
a
lot
of
new
contributor
guy
documentation,
hopefully
you've
seen
all
that
that
should
help
you
get
started
on
the
slack
channel
as
well.
C
F
Feel
free
to
ask
any
questions
that
you
have
in
the
slack
channel,
so
many
people
are
willing
to
kind
of
help
and
and
chip
in
and
answer
anything
that
you
that
you've
got
or
that
you
need
so
yeah.
We're
always
happy
to
have
new
contributors
in.
G
Awesome
yeah,
you
guys
have
some
great
resources
pulled
together,
so
I
appreciate
it.
I've
been
looking
through
it
and
I'm
hoping
after
kubecon,
which
I
will
be
attending
virtually,
but
I
can
shadow
enough
to
get
comfortable
to
see
what
what
I
can
pick
up
and
help
with,
but
yeah
yeah
you're.
F
For
everyone,
I
think
I
think,
you're-
jumping
jumping
in
also
at
a
really
good
time,
because
towards
the
end
of
the
year,
release
ends
up
being
a
bit
kind
of
slower
and
some
people
going
on
holiday
or
vacation
and
so
might
be
a
bit
quieter.
But
at
the
same
time
you
know
less
hectic
on
the
pr
front
so
yeah.
I
think
it
would
be
really
great
time
for
you
to
jump
in
and
and
to
help
out
with
some
issues
here.
A
Also,
like
feel
free
to
review
existing
pr's.
Also,
if
you
feel
like
you
know,
it's
not
necessary
for
you
to
create
a
pr
as
your
first
contribution
but
yeah
good
to
have
you
here.
Are
there
any
other
new
contributors
or
agenda
items,
because,
if
not,
I
believe
we
can
end
the
call
and
give
folks
a
lot
of
their
time
back.
C
I
I
had
just
one
more
quick
item:
if
that's
okay,
we
we
just
recently
had
our
monthly
sig,
docs,
localization
work,
group
meeting
and
and
so
just
for
the
new
chair
to
be
aware,
you
know
what
we
are
offering.
I
this
was
jim
angel,
put
this
policy
in
place
and
I
communicated
it
yesterday
is
if
we
have
like
a
new
localization
team.
C
So,
for
example,
we
just
had
the
hindi
team
come
on
board
and
they're
going
to
get
started
and
if
they
want
their
own
weekly
meeting,
they
should
be
able
to
use
our
zoom.
Our
zoom
account
allows
us
to
create
sort
of
sub
sub
meetings
and
and
so
just
contact
a
chair.
I
think
right
now.
Jim
is
the
only
one
that
knows
how
to
do
it,
but
but
I'm
sure
that
the
new
chair
can
can
learn
how
to
do
it.
C
They
can
learn
how
to
do
it
as
well,
but
then
they
can
contact
and
then
they
get
their
own
meeting.
And
then
you
don't
have
to
worry
about
conflicts,
because
I
guess
it
allows
us
to
have
two
at
the
same
time.
C
So
I
just
wanted
to
communicate
that
and
we've
got
two
new
localizations
that
are
being
worked
on
hindi
and
punjabi,
so
we
continue
to
grow
our
localizations.
B
Thank
you
for
letting
me
know
about
that.
I
I
actually
saw
a
lot
of
messages
come
in
for
folks
joining
in
the
spanish
and
I
think
another
localization
meeting
earlier
on
the
weekend.
I
was
going
to
ask
jim
what
that
was
about,
because
I
saw
a
lot
of
meeting
meetings
being
joined
regarding
the
localization
submeeting,
so
yeah.
Thanks
for
that.
F
So
actually
I
have
a
question
on
that
brad
when
you
say
that
when
you
say
the
hindi
and
punjabi
localizations
are
set
up,
does
that
mean
they've
got
to
you
mean
to
say
that
they
have
two
kind
of
main
reviewers
that
are
that
are
helping
out
there
and
they've
set
that
expectation
or
they're
just
kind
of
ramping?
Up
to
that?
To
that
point,
punjabi.
C
Is
just
getting
started,
you
know
hindi
who's
on
the
call
can
give
you
a
little
bit
more
information,
but
they've
done
their
minimum,
like
the
the
minimum
amount
of
translation,
that's
necessary,
so
they've
actually
done
enough
to
meet
the
minimum
for
a
sort
of,
I
think,
there's
what
17
files
or
something
under
var
that
they've
gone
ahead
and
trended.
So
they've
met
the
minimum
bar
of
getting
started
with
with
having
an
actual
translation
in
place.
E
I
have
a
question
about
localization
as
well.
I've
just
always
been
curious.
Is
it
all
volunteered
if
people
just
like,
show
up
and
say
hey,
I
want
to
do
this.
You
know
new
language
or
is
there
some
do
we
have
people
like
full-time?
You
know
paid
to
to
manage
that
because
it
seems
like
a
massive
effort.
C
Go
ahead,
yeah,
it's
definitely
all
volunteer,
and
it
just
you
know,
depends
the
the
you
know.
Usually
where
it
comes
from
is
in
different
countries.
They
have
meetups
kubernetes,
meetups
and,
and
those
people
decide
they
really
want
it,
and
so
that's
where
they
seem
to
get
their
source
of
of
of
contributors.
C
And
then
we
have
some
really
good
guidelines
in
place.
That
show
you
hear
the
right.
You
know
both
the
china
team
and
the
korean
team
have
really
good
branching
strategies
and
really
good
tools
for
identifying.
What's
changed
and
so
yeah
you
just
kind
of
get
some
folks
and
they
just
kind
of
get
started
and
prioritize
right.
They
they
translate
what
they
think
are
the
most
important
pages.
H
Yeah
sure
we
actually
have
10
to
11
people
contributing
that's
right.
We
have
like
approvers
and
reviewer
setup.
We
have
all
the
we
have
our
own
slack
channel.
We
have
our
phone
like
folded,
the
hi
folder
on
the
docs,
and
we
have
our
own
branch.
So
we
have.
We
are
pretty
much
set
up
to
like
just
launch
it
and
we
have
like
localized
them
all.
H
A
Oh
thank
you
again,
and
I
think
that
is
it,
and
at
least
someone
wants
to
bring
up
something.
