Description
Kubernetes SIG Windows 20200225
A
All
right
thanks
everyone
for
for
joining
this
week's
sig
windows,
meeting
that
25th
of
February
2020,
and
so
this
is
being
recorded
and
please
make
sure
you
follow
all
Community
Guidelines
and
be
nice
to
everybody.
So
so,
with
that,
looking
over
at
the
agenda,
the
first
thing
we
had
listed
on
there
was
around
cluster
API
updates.
A
discussion.
I
did
get
a
note
from
been
saying
that
he
wasn't
going
to
be
able
to
make
it
today.
A
B
C
Make
sure
that
people
stay
involved
in
the
discussion
as
well
and
I
also
had
a
meeting
with
base
last
Friday
to
learn
a
little
bit
more
about
like
bayonets
as
a
solution
for
bootstrapping
Windows
VMs
I
mean
from
cluster
API.
So
that's
the
two
things
that
happen
this
week,
but
I
haven't
reported
back
to
Ben
yet
so
maybe
we
should
postpone
a
little
bit
until
I
have
a
little
bit
more
information.
Unfortunately,
I
will
be
out
of
office
next
week,
so
I
won't
be
able
to
connect
it
to
the
medium.
D
So,
by
the
way,
since
Ben
just
came
back
from
vacation
he's
been,
you
know,
obviously
the
pivotal
acquisition
close
with
VMware
and
all
these
other
things
that
he's
inundated
with
emails
and
requests
left
and
right.
Hopefully,
I'll
try
to
sync
with
him
as
well
offline.
But
let's
get
you
guys
to
hooked
up,
so
you
guys
can
have
a
discussion
figure
out
where
we're
going
there
and
who
can
do
what
and
and
kind
of
divvy
up
the
work.
So
just
leave
you
you
don't
mind,
like
you
know,
keeping
him
add
me
and
Patrick
give
you.
A
B
A
Yeah,
ok,
well
you're,
going
to
register
and
then
check
that
I
know
that
sometimes
they'll
set
up
their
offer
time.
If
you
want
to
have
like
a
developer
face-to-face
talk
or
something
like
that,
we
didn't
do
it
the
last
time,
because
there
just
weren't
enough
people
there
and
so
made
more
sense
to
go.
Go
join
other
meetings
in
the
contributor
summit
rather
than
having
a
small
number
of
people
in
the
room.
A
D
Zoom
crashed
so
and
I
could
talk,
which
was
funny.
I
was
gonna,
say
on
the
continuous
summit
if
anybody's
going
and
they
are
please
sign
up,
you'll
get
a
nice
t-shirt
out
of
it.
There's
an
event.
That's
going
to
happen
the
night
before
the
day,
zero
activities
happened
so
highly
encourage
you
get
to
see
other
members
of
the
community.
Folks,
you
only
see
on
PRS,
so
I
mean
I,
really
really
urge
you
be:
haven't
booked
a
ticket,
yes
for
cubic
on
arrived
a
day
early
and
sign
up
for
the
contributors
from
it.
D
A
So
yeah
we're
coming
up
on
on
two
deadlines
so
for
any
any
new
feature,
work
in
1.18
they're,
looking
for
doc
PRS
by
the
end
of
this
week,
placeholders
are
okay,
they
just
want
to
make
sure
they're
all
filed
and
then
code
freeze
is
coming
v,
so
that
would
be
next
Friday.
So
from
that
one
I
was
looking,
it
looks
like
the
GMs.
A
stable
PR
was
reviewed.
B
A
A
D
E
E
B
D
D
The
way
click
on
that
I
talked
to
to
George,
asking
him
to
some
members
to
take
a
look
at
those
they're.
B
D
A
A
D
D
I
will
have
a
lot
of
the
features
you
come
to
expect
from
CNI
and,
more
importantly,
it's
gonna
also
there
looking
into
Windows
support
right
now
and
that
we
have
basically
started
looking
into
you
or
it's
basically
gonna,
be
based
on
obvious,
so
they're
talking
to
aliens
are
doing
from
cloud
base
and
other
folks
from
cloud
base
to
to
make
that
a
reality.
So
I
just
want
to
bring
it
up
out.
There.
D
I
know
that
there
are
some
folks
from
this
community
that
have
worked
on
unfair
before
so
it's
coming
and
we're
pushing
hard
to
get
them
to
support
Windows.
So
this
can
offer
a
competitive
solution
to
calico
C&I,
which
is
require
a
paid
subscription
today
to
use
on
Windows.
These
gonna
offer
us
something
that
will
have
you
know:
support
for
for
all
of
the
kubernetes
features,
including
security
policies
honestly
and
I,
that
works
cross-platform.
D
Obviously,
general
is
interested
in
contributing.
Let
me
know
I'll
put
in
contact
with
the
right
folks,
and
the
last
thing
I
had
here
is
the
community
presentation.
The
degree
last
week
me
deep
and
and
Patrick
was
very
well-received.
We've
got.
You
know,
I've
gotten
feedback
from
folks
that
are
impressed
with
how
much
this
community
has
done
in
just
a
little
bit
under
a
year
since
you've
been
to
stable
and
we
didn't
really
stop
there
continuously
adding
more
and
more
features,
so
everybody
loved
the
progress
and
the
commitment
of
this
community.
D
D
B
I
just
wanted
to
add
that
I,
don't
think
Oh
Moses
here
today,
but
I
was
gonna
work
with
Moz
and
Patrick
offline
this
week
and
next
week,
I
know
start
doing
some
of
the
p.m.
work
that
he
mentioned
a
couple
sessions
ago
about
trying
to
you
know,
have
a
room
to
backlog
and
set
a
roadmap,
so
we're
gonna
meet
just
with
us
and
then
I'll,
probably
I
share
with
the
at
this
meeting
in
the
future
date.
Yeah.
D
Nothing
else
for
me,
obviously
as
a
reproach
in
conflict,
if
anybody
needs
help
on
a
PR,
whether
that's
from
team
members
of
this
community
or
others,
if
you
are
not
getting
an
abstraction,
just
mirrors
or
Patrick,
that
I
feel
slack
will
try
to
help
you.
You
know
we
I
personally
tend
to
be
gating,
PRS
I,
don't,
but
if
we
need
to
go,
find
someone
and
to
help
us
on
something.
Let
us
know.
