so
that
means
that
there's
a
lot

learning

people
need
to
come

understand

mesh

going
wrong
in
my
environment,
and
how
can
I
fix
that?
You
know
how
how
do
I
know
that
I'm
operating
a
service
mesh?
Well,
how
can
I
get
the
most
value
out
of
it?
How
do
I
have
it

more
work,
so
I
can
do
less.
That's
a
question.
I
think
many
people
should
be
asking
as
they're
deploying
a
mesh.
A
lot
of
people
aren't
taking
full
advantage
for
sure
they're
not
now
part
of
where
I'm
gonna
just
we're
gonna
talk
about
faisal.

When
all
of
these
packets
are
traversing
the
network,
you
can
and
you're
the
thing,
that's
processing
them,
you
can
stop
them,
crack
them
up
and
introspect
them,
read
people's
email
in
them
and
then
pass
them
along.
Like
there's
a
lot
that
you
can
do
with
them,
you
can
do
a
lot
of
stuff,
and
actually
literally
you
could
do
that.
You
could
read
someone's
you
know
or
you
could
change
the
name
of
the
from
address
from
and
say
it
was
from
the
president
and
then
send
it
to
him.
Those
things
are
possible.

You
want
to
do
that
in
a
very
performant
way,
so
that
you're,
not
you,
know
well
with
respect
to
email.
As
an
example
like
I'm,
going
to
give
I'm
going
totally
off
the
rails
here,
but
like
for
email,
you,
it
wouldn't
really
matter,
it's
asynchronous
right
like
you,
you
could
inject
a
bit
of
delay
and
people
wouldn't
necessarily
notice
anyway
for
real-time
systems
that,

you're
expecting
real-time
responses,
you
want
your
network
to
be
highly
performant.
So,
if
you're
doing
a
lot
with
it,
you're
manipulating
packets,
you
want
to
do
that
very
efficiently.

why
we
have
a
project
called
service
mesh
performance
so
that
people
can
do
these
very
interesting
and
powerful
things
with
the
network
and
do
them
understanding
the
overhead.
That's
involved,
okay,
what
does
that
have
to
do
with
the
service
mesh
playground?
Well,
as
people
go
to
explore
what
is
possible
with
the
network,
what
is
possible
with
the
service
mesh?

need
a
playground
to
do
it
in
and,
like
I
was
saying
earlier,
most
of
us
are
still
kind
of
actually
is
it
depre?
I'm
just
gonna

mesher's
mission

the
beginning

been
to

People
understand

session

into
a

canvas
and
then
configure

a
virtual
service,
an
istio
virtual
service
and
visually
configure.

infrastructure

deploy
it

save
these
designs
and
have
them
integrated

git

inside

is

on

it
tells
me
what
type
it

depending
upon

might

able
to
take
certain
actions

ability,

this

what
he
was
showing.
It
was
the
ability
to
have
an
interactive
terminal
session.
You

right
through

browser
or
to
start
streaming
logs
back,
so
you
know
to
use
a
a
service
mesh
specific
example.

might
have
your
applications
deployed.

each

stream
back
the
container
logs

the
proxy
that's
sitting

what's
going

connect
