few

of
know
who
they
are
as
delegates
and

what
they
represent

present
I'll,
kick
it
over
to

We'll
start
with
that,
and
when
we're
done,
we'll
save
any
questions
till
the

and
you'll
get
a
chance

view
it
as
like
a
kind
of
a
neutral
alternative
to
banks.
If
you
see
particularly
recently,
a
lot
of
banks
are
very
politically
entangled.
They
set
interest
rates
based
on
kind
of
what
the
government
wants,
not
necessarily
what's
best
for
their
users,
depositors,
so
that'd
be.
My
goal
is
to
have
maker
dallas
an
alternative
people
can
go
to
if
or
to
that
and
implementation.
So
long
term,
I'd
like
you
know,

holders
to
be
able
to
earn
yields.
Ideally,
while
also
you
know,
having
liquidity
with
their
tokens.

think
this
is
gonna,
be
essential.
Long
term
we've
got
competitors
like
you
know,
ave
and
interest
protocol
they're
trying
to
do
the
same
thing
and
we're
gonna
be
like
a
proper
bank.
You
know
we
have
to
be
turning
some
yield
and
to
do
that
first,
we
have
to
make
a
profit
right.
So
that's
where
we're
at
I'm,
like
here's
kind
of
one
short,
live
little
slide.
I
made
to
I'm
trying
how
that
could
work
right,
people
deposit
their
collateral,
they
receive
like
finite
eye.

They
can
stake
the
eye

for
yield
from
the
protocol
and
they
treat
the
diets
die
right.
So
just
one
idea
on
how
they
we
could
long-term
distribute
some
of
our
revenue
back
to
holder
to
back
to
elders,
my
core
values
are
going
to
be
simplicity,
sustainable
decentralization
and
stakeholder
representation.

let's
go
through
each
of
those
first.
I
think
one
of
the
big
issues
that
dao
is
struggling
with
right
now
is
just
managing
his
complexity.
Budget,
there's
just
too
much
administrative
overhead
and
once
things
get
too
complex,
the
effectiveness
of
the
organization
starts
to
suffer.
People
just
lose
track
of
things
they
forget
about
why
certain
decisions
are
made,
they
just
all
sorts
of
issues
start
to
crop
up
and
that
I've
seen
I've
talked
to
a
lot
of
delegates
about
things
and
they're
like
well.

I'm
not
really
sure
what
that
cu
does,
or
I'm
not
sure
what
they're
up
to
that's
a
sign
to
me
that
things
are
getting
too
complex,
especially
when
we
start
getting
suggestions.
Hey.
Maybe
delegates
should
be
hiring
assistants
to
keep
track
of
more
information
so
that
that
kind
of
concerns
me
so
how
to
handle
this.

That's
great
right,
that's
hard
data
that
we
can
look
at
that.
We
don't
have
to
have
all
this
institutional
knowledge
where
it's
like.
Oh
well.
I
know
this
is
a
good
cu,
because
I
talk
to
them
every
week
and
I
keep
on
top
now.
We've
just
got
this
like
spreadsheet,
of
our
data
that
we
can
look
at
to
automate
decision
making,
and
that
also
means
you
know
factoring
in
both
the
financial
cost
and
time
this
project's
going
to
take
away
from
other
projects
like
you
could
have
a
project
or
an
idea.

That's
like
not
a
bad
idea
like
it
might
make
money
for
the
dow,
but
if
it's
super
complicated
and
it's
going
to
be
taking
away
from
time,
we
can
effort,
we
can
spend
on
other
things.
It
still
might
not
be
worth
it.
So
that's
where
I'm
at
on
this
is
try
to
you
know,
off-board
the
complexity
where
we
can
put
it
into
smaller
groups
and
then
on
big
decisions
where
we
have
to
make
it.
We
have
hard
data
and
prototypes
back
it
up
so
next
sustainable
decentralization.

So
I
do
think
we
need
to
reach
an
end
game
where
we've
got
straightforward
decisions
with
widespread
consensus
behind
them
and
automation.
You
know:
we've
done
a
great
job
of
automating,
the
on
chain
asset
side
of
things
right,
like
collateral's,
liquidated
themselves.
We
don't
have
to
vote
on
all
that,
but
most
of
our
decision
making
is
very
data-driven
and
focused
on
that.
But
when
it
comes
to
on-chain
and
off-chain
assets,
it's
a
very
much
more
difficult,
but
it's
it's
something
we're
going
to
have
to
figure
out.

Otherwise,
management
structure
of
the
dow
is
just
going
to
have
to
explode
and
we're
not
really
set
up
to
deal
with
that
as
a
decentralized
organization
outsourcing
decision
making
centralized
decision
making.
I
think
the
medidels
are
like
kind
of
one
way
to
do
this,
so
I'm
cautiously
optimistic
about
that
is,
you
know
just
saying:
okay,
this
is
a
decision
that
has
to
be
made
by
a
centralized
group.
What
can
we
do
to
kind
of
firewall
it
off
from
the
dow
and
and
the
shorter
term
focus
on
deals
with
liquidity
and
scaling
potential?

So
then
we're
going
to
be
kind
of
stuck
supporting
these
legacy
deals.
If
we've
got
like
a
10-year
or
20-year
agreement
with
someone
to
service
alone,
then
we're
kind
of
stuck
with
that
right,
we're
like,
and
we
wish
we
could
move
that
money
to
something
better,
two
or
three
years
from
now.
So
that's
why
I'm
going
to
be
more
focused
on
hey?

Is
this
a
deal
that
we
can
easily
liquidate,
and
is
this
the
deal
that
can
be
massively
scaled
up
or
is
it
something
that
would
require
us
to
like
hire
a
bunch
of
people
to
make
a
bunch
of
deals
with
and
last
stakeholder
representation?
I
think
nikola
had
a
great
idea
on
different
voting
systems
like
approval
voting.
It
is
really
worth
asking
like
if
a
deal
gets
approved
with
53.

Is
that
something
we
should
be
doing
versus
like?
Oh,
we
had
this
other
deal
that
could
approve
with
98
of
the
votes
but,
like
our
current
system,
treats
them
equally
saying.
Oh
these
are
you
know
these
deals?
They
basically
both
got
approved,
whereas
really
you
have
one
deal
where,
like
the
collective
vows
like
this
is
a
great
idea,
and
then
you
have
another
deal
where
it's
like.
It
was
very
contentious
and
it
would
only
take
the
slightest
shift
in
maker
distribution
to
get
it
to
a
no
vote
so,
and
that
can
happen
right.

People
can
off-board
there's
nothing
to
stop
that.
So
you
get
a
deal
approved
with
53
and
then
the
maker
gets
all
shifted
around.
Someone
can
just
vote
to
off-board
it
and
that
gets
approved
too.
Whereas
if
you
have
a
deal,
that's
like
okay,
we're
going
to
go
approval
voting
we'll
take
our
most
popular
deals
right
there.

You
know
sometimes
we're
gonna
have
to
make
decisions
with
trade-offs
where
some
party's
gonna
get
isn't
gonna
have
a
get
a
great
deal
out
of
it
and
in
those
situations
we
should
at
least
like
know
what
we're
doing
do,
what
we
can
to
mitigate
it
and
be
aware
hey.
This
is,
what's
gonna
happen
and
not
be
like.
Oh,
I
didn't
realize
what
effect
this
was
going
to
have
and
here's
my

You
can
also

it

at
a
high
level,
it's
kind
of
a
banking
function.
So
you
know
at
some
point
we're
going
to
have
to
share
some
of
that
money.
We're
earning
off
the
usdc
with
the
people
yeah,

with

people

deposited

competitors
will
right.
If
we're
earning
like
a
five
percent
return
on
your
money,
we
can
share
two
percent
or
one
percent
of
that.

think
that's
good
making
sure
that
the
centralized
component
is
fully
under
our
control,
so
that
like
if
they
started
trying
to
take
advantage
of
the
dow,
the
dow
can
kind
of
just
shut
it
down,
but
really
ultimately,
if
we're
expanding
in
a
real
world
assets,
we're
gonna
have
to
make
some
centralized
decisions
and
there's
going
to
have
to
be
something
right,
because
there's
got
to
be
someone
who's
talking
directly
to
clients,
we've
got
real
world
assets.
Doing
that
is
there
a
better
way
to
do
that?

We
can
have
tokenized
on-chain
assets
and
the
government
says
you
know.
Those
are
a
real
thing
that
we're
going
to
enforce
like
in
a
court
of
law,
and
that
helps
a
lot
right,
because
then
we
can
have
a
way
to
liquidate
assets
on
chain,
because
there
will
be
other
people
willing
to
buy
them.
For
now,
it's
not
really
doable
so
there
there
kind
of
are
points
of
failure
and
that
you
have
to
interface
with
the
real
world,
and
you
know
they.

think
there
would
be
people
who
would
love
to
buy
them
and
sell
them
on
chain
right
and
that's
a
service
we
can
offer
to
other
dows
money.
It
also
provides
us
a
way
to
easily
liquidate
our
collateral,

Those

the
big
low-hanging.
Fruit,
I
would
say,
is
just
that's
the
trillion
or
multi-trillion
ideas,
dollar
ideas,
finding
a
way
to
just
bring
stuff
on
chain.
We
had
a
recent
vote
to
do
that,
which
I
was
in
favor
of.

competing

there

because
that's
something
we're
working
on
actively
with
ducks
at
the
moment

live

bit
more
about
kind

how
you
think
we
could
use
that
best.

what
I'm
imagining
is
that
we
would
use
it
as
a
prioritization
tool.

coming

some
point.
They
should
all
be
on
board
right,
that's
the
theory.

portfolio

has
a
really
high

funds
from
the
other
portfolios
will
slowly
flow
into
that.
I
am
aware
that
would
be
a
big
shift,
real
world
assets
and
the
type

deals
they
make,
but
I
think
it
would
avoid
the
contentious
stuff
like
like.

that
we're
looking
to
that
we
voted
to

send

money

very
contentious

there's

role

crypto
is

trillion,

it's
a
little
higher,
but
we're

50

crypto
on
we.
We
couldn't
even
liquidate
that
at
that
level
right,
so
it
would
not
be
a
thing
to
do
so.

we'd
have
to
be
looking
at
things
like
treasuries
and
railroad
assets.

the

implementation

tons
of
suggestions
on
the

community,
which
I
appreciate
and

perspective.

it's
basically
a

between
paths
between
purely
virtual
assets
for
authorization,
assets,
crypto
or
gaming,
and
purely
real
world
assets
like
globes,
because
well
there
are
many
pros
and
cons,
but
the
problem
with
traditional
real
world
assets
is
that
tokenization
of
loans,
for
instance,
requires
trust.
It's
done
through
certain
trustful
entities.

So
I
want
to
go
into
much
detail
but
emerging
technologies
on
the
intersection
between
physical
and
digital
world
for
specifically
manufacturing
or
work
done
at
google
on
interfaces
and
media
lab
allow
a
trustless
tokenization
of
real-world
assets,
and
I
definitely
think
makers
should
explore
this.
This
area
there
are
links,
so
you
could
explore
them
further
on.
In
your
show.

give

example
in
the
publication
on
on
this
course,
so
there
is
a
link
there,
but
basically
a
protocol
should
be
regarded
as
a
bipartite
organism,
both
on
chain
and
community
play
equally
important
chain
activity

community

play

role.

model
them,
then
you
could
predict
the
prodigal
future
overall
and

with
with
any
granular
regularity,

instance,
if
it
model

the

what
is
considered

what

inappropriate
is
codified
in
the

the

codes
which
are
important,

encourage
everybody
to
read
these
books.
