Hey maker dao, I'm kat obermeyer and we'll be covering current events at maker dow for the week of july 13th through july 19th this week, we'll be talking about what maker dell will be up to in paris at this year's ethcc conference. The launch of the vote delegation and maker governance, an important issue that came up with the july 16th executive vote and discussion in the community surrounding the paper recently released by the federal reserve and the national bureau of economic research on taming wildcat stablecoins.

The ethereum community conference, also known as eth cc, runs from july 20th to the 22nd in paris. France join maker, dow for keeping up with the maker mafia a free event at ground control on wednesday july 21st.

Next up we're excited to announce the launch of vote delegation on august, 2nd maker dao's vote delegation system introduces a unique innovation by distinguishing between recognized and shadow delegates. Recognized delegates agreed to share certain information with the community in exchange for space on maker, dow's official communications channels.

While shadow delegates participate anonymously, an announcement has been posted in the form, as well as an invitation to the inaugural meet your delegate, call where three of the initial recognized delegates will present their platforms and answer your questions that call takes place on wednesday july 28th at 6 pm utc.

We look forward to seeing you there on to the july 16th executive, a community member, noticed code missing from the spell to give the new silver asset originator, an increased debt ceiling, a fix has been implemented, and voters can now weigh in on the july 17th executive, big thanks to lucas from the protocol engineering team for catching that thanks lucas.

In our final topic of the week, a new paper titled taming, wildcat stablecoins published by the u.s federal reserve in partnership with the national bureau of economic research. The paper offers proposals on the regulation of stablecoins but focuses more on centralized stablecoins than permissionless stablecoins. Like dye.
