If passed, this week’s Executive Vote would change the bid duration of FLAP auctions and increase the debt ceiling for the New Silver DROP token (Vault 2).

We also cover the Executive from last week, which paid our Core Units out and lowered the stability fees on a variety of collateral types.

Alec and we're talking about the governance votes from the week of july 13th through july 19th maker token holders passed last week's executive on july 16th and the changes in that proposal were executed on the 18th. This vote included multiple changes, not the least of which was to pay out the approved core unit budgets.

This executive also activated the debt ceiling, instant access module to the psm usdca vault type. Finally, the executive also decreased the stability fees associated with most fault types. You can find the full list in the voting portal, as well as in the forums these stability fee changes were put forth by the dao's parameter change proposal group.

This week's executive vote was posted on saturday july 17th. Passing this vote will lower the bid duration for flap auctions from 60 minutes to 30 minutes. The bid duration is also referred to as the ttl parameter. Flap auctions allow the protocol to buy maker on the open market and burn it, which helps to keep the protocol more stable. Passing this executive would also raise the debt ceiling on real world assets. Vault number two from 5 million to 20 million die. That fault is collateralized with the new silver drop token.

Next up, we've got ratification poles running for multiple core units, including strategic marketing, communications, collateral engineering services, governance, communications and the amazics marketing core unit. We also have two polls ratifying budgets for existing core units, which are the growth and content production, core units and following the polls for core units, we have a vote for mip 55, proposing a special purpose fund that would allow maker holders to vote on and potentially approve singular budgets for specific projects and other initiatives.

We also have a pull up for mit 52, proposing a dispute resolution tactic that would allow community members to resolve an issue or conflict with an official vote. And last but not least, we have two community green light polls for the gelato uniswap v3 die usdc lp token and the untangled finance drop token.

Community greenlight polls are for seeing whether or not the community wants a specific type of collateral onboarded into the protocol as a new vault type, but passing votes do not necessarily mean the vault will appear anytime soon, and that's all for this week's update.
