Hey maker dao, I'm alec and you're listening to the state of die for the week of july 13th through july 19th, the price of dye over the past week has managed to stay very close to its peg fluctuating within two basis points or 0.02 percent of the peg. It peaked around 1.003 on thursday july 15th.

The die supply is still hovering around 5.5 billion, with 8.7 billion in collateral locked in the system, among decentralized exchanges, the top dogs in the market for die liquidity at the time of recording, are uniswap curve and binance.

Four vault liquidations occurred in the last week, giving the protocol 107 540 die in fees and penalties. As a result, these liquidations occurred within the uniswap link and ethereum a vault types which resulted in a surplus of around 12 000 die for the protocol. Now, let's take a look at exactly how some of these liquidations went.

The average liquidation auction took around 42 minutes to conclude and all were settled successfully at current market prices, ethereum and wrapped bitcoin stand to lose the most to liquidations.
